Freighter Missions Milestone | No Man's Sky Pioneer Expedition Redux 2021

we got this guy right here let's see what you got going on let's see inspect the frigate and whoa this one is really it look at that s-class it's gonna be way more expensive as you can see nine million units welcome back to no man's sky everyone jason here and this is our pioneer expedition redux play through so the second time you're looking for that golden vector this is the time to do it gotta get in here gotta do it so we have done completely phase one phase two we're almost done with phase three we d we need to send out submissions speaking of that we already have one completed i need to send out two more we need to adopt three pets we could do that really quick i should do that real we're quick to knock that out uh learning some words oh we need to steal some whispering eggs we also need to earn explorers guild standing that's going to be a hard one we should probably start doing that now all right so first things first let's see if there's any pets around oh there are animals all over the place so let's knock out this oh do they just disappear the heck where do they go there's one right over there now you don't have to keep them forever you can just pick them up and release them i'm pretty sure like this guy right here hey buddy you are kind of scary-looking but here here have some food buddy and now we're going to interact and once you feed them you can interact with them you can collect their milk or collect whatever you know food they provide sometimes it's eggs sometimes it's you know milk whatever adopted as a companion so now he's our companion anita i like that that's actually a pretty good name right off the bat that's usually they give you generic names but i got a really good generic name so i like that let's get this guy right here hey buddy we're going to interact after you feed them again always and this one does milk as well and then the shell your buddy over here your shell oh wait a minute first number one i think you only get two by default so you only have two uh pet locations by default let's go to the paw the creatures and go to your companion register yes you only have two by default and then you have to buy more room for more pets and they cost nanite so it's going to cost you 500 to begin with then you get a 500 again 500 oh wait a minute no no i think it's 500 then it goes to a thousand it doubles every time so watch once i buy this one that one's open now so now it's a thousand and then it'll double every time so then i'll go to a thousand two thousand and then i think it jumps up to five thousand nanites so don't hold me to that but i'm pretty sure your last one's gonna cost you five thousand either way you need to buy more room in order to get this uh milestone done this grunt well i'm gonna patch you buddy you're good you're good buddy all right what about you you want to be a cool pet yeah you do look at you buddy this guy is cool he's like the pool purple like uh spikes on his back okay you're my cool pet too eat me emmy yes all right let me let me we got our thing knocked it out real quick yeah so now if you want those pets you can keep them you can also get rid of them so i like to just let them go like hey you know what you guys are here we're going to uh we can abandon them right here i'm going to leave them back on the plate that they came from so no different i just wanted my thing i just wanted my uh my milestone so nothing against you guys but i'm going to leave you here so have a good life enjoy your time here and i'm out oh yeah we gotta accept our reward for doing that as well let's do that real quick learn how to make a nutrient processor that's a free blueprint i like it and we got insortion assorted ingredients collection so we got a whole bunch of ingredients we can use to make stuff that's very cool too where'd my ship go where were they my blind up there you are right there so we got a whole bunch of food as well as you can see from my inventory look at that we got some donuts yes a proteinus donut uh legs and pastry yeah a fluffy throat ripper i don't know about that and some perpetual honey cake as you can see there's a price on it you can sell this for 142 000 or you can give it to the chef on the anomaly i usually just sell them because the chef will give you like 100 nanites or something like that he's not going to give you like a thousand nanites for any of this stuff so i mean he will give you a ton of nanites if you have a whole bunch to give like you'll give you like 70 or 100 nanites but if you have like a thousand of them you'll make a ton of nanites the problem is you have to have more than just one and we only have one so i'm not worried about it i'd rather get the money for it than the nanites for now so we've gotten that done oh well let's let's look at what i got going on here we have the uh learning words we have um stealing whispering eggs we find an abandoned building maybe we can do that let's look around let's look around betsy outpost hello destination four pizza rendezvous now sometimes people have an egg farm up a free harvest farm if you need a farm there you go to farm your 20 plants hello bases sometimes they'll say it sometimes they won't copper base over there whispering eggs there we go so i always i would always recommend if you're not playing with your friends like if you're just playing alone turn off your multiplayer so go into your uh options go to your network settings and turn your multiplayer off you can have your your group invites if you want other people to join you like if you have a group you're looking for friends to play with go ahead have that on uh open or friends only or whatever you want to do i keep mine on invite that way no one like jumps in while i'm recording but i would say do that because if you're in a general multiplayer and you take something a randomized person if you have your multiplayer completely open a randomized person will be here with you and they might be looking at the whispering eggs as well or they might be doing something else and they go oh and they won't be able to get it because they're in multiplayer so if you just want to make it easy for yourself turn it to single player it does not affect anything uh you know any kind of bad thing on uh or it doesn't affect anybody else's game while you're in single player with whispering eggs at what i don't see an abandoned building is it over there oh there it is okay so he made a little house across the way okay look at this guy oh and he's refining he's making a whole bunch of money so that's what i told you guys before i think the first or second episode oxygen and either chlorine or cobalt put those babies in there you'll make a ton of money but we don't need money right now we're good we need some buried eggs or some whispering eggs i should set whispering eggs and we're going to need how many do we need let me go back to my expedition you can always highlight it and it'll show you how many you need so if you have it highlighted down at the bottom right hand side you see that it says i've got 0 out of 10. it'll keep track of it so you're good to go but what i would say is you could dig a hole underneath like if you have a terrain manipulator dig a hole underneath i'm too lazy for that i'm a lazy bum so i just i'll attack this side and then i'll jump and go over the other side because it'll take some time for the uh biological horrors to come after you so let me show you what i mean you have to grab that core grab the core else it doesn't count if you just farm the egg itself it doesn't really count and look at that boom now we're pretty good it's gonna take him a second to get over here so it gives you some extra time to pick up these eggs on this side over here oh god really i was in the middle picking up that larval core thank you and so now if you don't have a lot of shields or if your health is really low you don't want to mess around with those biological horrors now they've kind of spread out now they're looking for me so you can just jump down there and you can actually go get some if you want i'm already at five out of ten i'm already halfway through on this thing so definitely look out you can also do this on your way like if you're just running around you can always just stop at a abandoned building real quick and grab these if you wanted to i would say don't worry about messing with them right now because those uh biological horrors will move you they will kick you off they'll mess you up so don't fight them just let them go eventually they will go away hey let me scan that guy trying to get some money wait a minute did not change my multi-tool there we go i gotta get my good skinny multi-tool because this will actually give me more money you want to make a lot of money you gotta use your good multi-tool there you go 180 000 that's awesome oh these guys over there got that okay done and done and i mean the other thing you want to do is remember we have to get these save points these checkpoints here so let's grab this checkpoint real quick to save beacon whatever you want to call it grab those things because you need 16 of them i believe it's 16 or maybe 12. uh nope you need uh no no no it's not that one uh 12 nope 16. i don't know what i'm doing i'm so i'm so activated i'm so caffeined up you need 16 i'm at seven so i'm a little under half halfway there all right so the guys went away so what we're gonna do is we're gonna grab the rest over here we're gonna activate them over here and we're gonna jump over to the other side just like i showed you so boom get up and over go to the other corner that way we can just grab these things up and sometimes they'll glitch out that's okay oh god hey don't be a jerk don't be a jerk we only need one more there we go we got it nest robber another milestone knocked off the list i love it let's get inside i'm just slowly looking there's the door over there boom let's get inside here real quick because the other thing you could do with your uh with your eggs let's see accept our reward for doing that real quick um right there phase four look at we're almost done with phase four we got a supreme defense system upgrade so a supreme uh shield scatter blaster supreme pole spitter yes shield module scatter blaster module yeah pool spitter module do we have a scatter blaster our current multi-tool we do have a scatter blaster on this one so this is gonna be our main obviously there is our shield module in here there we go boom that way they're together pull spitter we don't need that one we're gonna sell that but we're gonna use our scatter blaster yes look at that boom done done son all right but the other thing you could do is with these larval cores you can actually refine them in your personal refiner or if you have like another refiner whatever and they will give you 50 nanites for each larval core so one stack of five gives you 250 nanos look at that boom and we'll do the other one we just got 500 nanites for doing that so we just paid off what we paid what we uh got our uh what we used to get our third pet we just paid that off again so very cool swarm subsiding which means we're good what is our next objective what else can we do knock out real quick learning alien words is pretty easy uh explorer guild oh no no what we have to do is we have to do our complete the fleet missions duh so let's go let's see well we have to turn in one mission because we've done one it doesn't count until you accept the rewards for that mission you guys and i'll show you what that means so you send out your fleet your frigates on missions it does not count as completed until you accept the rewards so you have to get the report back from them this means you have to go to your freighter and you have to go to the command center and do that let's get in here and we'll do it so once you get into space number one i'm gonna refill my pulse engine and i'm gonna refill my uh my launch thruster always get rid of that thing and we're gonna call in our freighter i'm not too close to the planet let's get out of here farther there we go that should be a good distance oh yeah there you go good distance on that let's go in we have to accept our mission and make it go out again oh wait a minute the other thing we can do is we have we have so much in here oh wait we can move our pulse drive in here but we also can make some room so you only need your uh what is it called your indium drive you only need your indium drive so you see how the cadmium drive it lets you go to a red star system your emerald drive lets you go to a green star system your indium drive lets you go to a blue star but also your indium drive lets you go to all other systems and so once you make the indium drive you're good remember how we had we had to make these for the milestones they wouldn't let me accept it and that was that's been patched so you should be good but we had to make ours because that's what the milestone said you have to make the cadmium drive and go to a red star system that's why we had to make it or else you know wouldn't count the milestone earlier let's get rid of these that we make more room oh chromatic metal you're going in here cadmium we're gonna definitely put that in our refiner and get some stuff out of there all right so yeah we have some good stuff here oh wait we're gonna put our uh slots up here because those are they'll eventually get used there we go oh anti-matter we got anti-matter out of there that's good heck yeah all right all right so we're good here let's go check in with our freighter because or with our frigate i should say we're gonna go to a command center and because we built two of them we have to find out which one specifically had our mission you'll be able to see the ship on the display there it is boom there it is so there we are and we're gonna accept it and this is gonna they're gonna give you your uh store your uh the story of what happened we're gonna download the data they give us a whole bunch of wow frigate fuel received yes wow okay so we did all that let's get this done come on let's accept it let's go debrief the commander there we go and it gives you all the log entries of what happened on their travels to complete this mission if you want to read it go ahead you'd have to pause the video and read it if you want to i don't see anything really exceptional so ah we got some dirty bronze we get some units we got some money for it so we're good so we say that's some sad sack venom that has dirty bronze and some credits okay we're excited for that we're now we got to send out some more let's send out some more frigates out there view potential expeditions there we go we're all oh god they might not be good oh you know what let's go to combat patrol right here boom oh no three hours i want to go for the short one so let's actually do this one right here we're gonna go we're gonna assign one we only have one frigate we only got one frigate so let's sign that one back out okay then we need fuel and we need some up uh yeah let's do that combat upgrades and it's gonna it's gonna take one of our 50 ton fuels we already got some so we should be good let's go there we go so we have one out of three we need and we already sent them on a second one so technically once that one is complete we have two two out of three but we still need to make another one so let's see if we can buy another frigate let's see since we're here wait a minute let's see what we got going on here actually you know what well god yeah this needs to be moved over to our freighter because why would you need this kind of fuel in your regular you know thing all right let's go over here man we need some room in here man we need some room all right need some cargo bulkheads all right so let's see if there is another freighter in this system somewhere i don't think there will be but maybe you never know you can kind of see them off in the distance probably not yet i've seen it oh no there they are right over here so if you want to buy more freighters to make that go faster or more frigates i should say the frigate are the small little ships that surround your freighter if you want to buy more all you got to do is go close to one and they'll just say hey i hate the freighter i'm with i hate the captain you see the green little signs right there they say hey i hate my captain he sucks let me join your crew and so let's let's call him when you get close enough he wants to call you and he says hey you're our vessel is powerful my crew is mighty or we aren't you okay let's inspect it let's see what's going on here and it's gonna cost me 2 million to buy this guy he's a c class he specializes in trade obviously he has some other stats in here but most of what he does is trade okay and he takes 10 tons uh you know for fuel requirement okay got it let's buy him he let's buy him his services i should say done and done all right and if you want to you could buy a whole bunch if you'd like we got this guy right here let's see what you got going on let's see inspect the frigate and wow this one is really look at that s-class is gonna be way more expensive as you can see nine million units but he really specializes in trade but he has some really good stats all across the board he's an s-class freighter so as they do more missions they will gain points in these other ones but most of what he's skilled in is a trade so of course we're gonna buy you buddy there we go so we have two more let's head back to our freighter because now we can send him out on a mission and we'll be able to get something good we'll do another trade mission i'm doing the short ones because i just want to get it done if you guys want to do the longer missions they will give you more rewards so it's a it's a give and take the shorter missions are very easy but you don't get as many rewards the longer missions take a long time but they give you some really good rewards so it's up to you and some of them the longer missions are also harder to do so you might need to you know send more than one freight frigate you could do that you could send a lot of frigates if you want to it's going to cost you more fuel to do that so definitely keep that in mind to go on missions you're gonna need more fuel because there's more uh ships going but let's get in here we have two ships we do have freighter fuel right well we do we have 200 tons oh yeah we could we could send a good a good amount of uh a good amount of ships out there if we wanted to let me show you yes let's do another mission real quick oh all the other ones are pretty long we got one for three hours one for an hour and a half okay let's do let's do a balanced expedition for three hours so i'm going to wait three and a half hours for this one to get done but we can assign all our ships to it so this one look at our s-class right there specializes in trade we can also get this one too so we have two ships assigned there you go so they really specialize in trade right there boom we're gonna have to give them an explosive drone upgrade that way they have combat upgrade because their combat is pretty low a five and a one if they get into a fight it's gonna be kind of hard for them but you know what we gave them some uh explosive drones yep we're good and it's only gonna cost us a hundred tons so half the uh the uh fuel that we have so we're good send them out all right three hours three and a half hours will be good so now that that is done now that we we basically we are done with this one we just have to wait for them to come back we have to wait for that timer to count down now we need to learn some alien words we need to explore earn explorer guild standing that's another one that's pretty hard to do we should probably do that though so what you can do and i'll show you the easy way and the hard way to do this explorer guild standing you really have to go to the space station for that you have to accept a certain mission from these mission agent on the space station and that will give you explorer guild experience or standing now not every single uh space station will have these missions you've got to be very picky and i mean you got to be very lucky sometimes they will sometimes they won't more than likely they will but it's not a guarantee not by a long shot well we need to do our storage augmentation as well sell some stuff here yeah we got some stuff to sell oh yeah we're good we're good there we go there we go there we go yeah we're good all right yeah and so every mission you complete will give you one so we're gonna have to do nine more missions for the uh explorers guild to get our uh get our approval higher where are we dude lord this thing is really far away i didn't realize how far away hey come on i didn't realize how far away the space station was wow uh we got some stuff we can get rid of definitely need the expansion slots yeah i don't want to sell them because they're hard to get but man and they're way worth more than 680 000 but i need a multi-tool that's higher level multi-tool i need to upgrade this baby a lot damage is good because i get my scatter blaster on here let's see oh yeah i can't switch it because i'm inside the uh i'm inside my ship so i can't switch anything here that's okay once we get out we'll do some organizing some switching we got to sell some stuff here we have our emergency broadcast receiver so we can do a derelict freighter as well perpetual yeah we gotta sell some of this stuff make some money yeah now that we don't need our uh we don't need any of our freaking uh carbon pellets our pet pellets animal pellets we can get rid of those too what do you got for me anything good you got any uh scattered blaster upgrades got a scanner module i'll take that and no scatter blaster okay that's good oh i should have sold something oh well we'll sell it over here when i look oh yeah we already we've already been here so that's okay we're looking for shield modules i need to upgrade my shield that way it'll get messed up on the uh derelict freighter oh if we do have a shield module but i need some so i'm going to sell my pull spinner because i don't i'm not going to use that now we're going to buy our shield module yes and toxic life support module we can't buy anything yet because we don't have very many nanites we're good all right so shield module put that in here so now we have three of our shields in the technology so that's the most you can get in here that's why again we only have uh three upgrades for our jetpack because you only have three at a time for your upgrades now you blueprints totally different blueprints are totally different let's change our multi-tool real quick to our dream inverter our good multi-tool our s-class multi-tool because we're trying to put our scanner in here yeah that's a pretty good one ah six and eight ah that's bad six and eight wow we need to get some better ones i i try to get mine to nine thousand and nine thousand you can i think you can you can min max it but i want to get at least nine thousand on one or both of those upgrades and so we only have eight and eight oh come on killing me killing me uh s-class upgrades all right now we need to sell some of our stuff oh yeah we need to upgrade our ship maybe we'll be able to move some of our uh upgrades in there uh our hyperdrive upgrade we'll be able to use that apply augmentation in the technology of course because that technology is going to be useful later on let's get down here and then hey we have a warp hyperdrive so this is what i mean if you have more than three like technically right here i have four if you have more than three it'll overload it so you need to have it in a different drive there you go so technically i still have it it's just not in the same area you need to separate them so keep that in mind when you're putting your upgrades together you need to only have three this one's a blueprint because it's an indium upgrade so you can have your blueprints like the things you can build like these you can have a whole bunch of those but the store bot upgrades you can only have three of them only three of those store-bought ones so keep that in mind anyway let's go anybody land here of course there's no pilots around why would you why would you be here to help me out that's fine all right we're going to sell this stuff and we'll get ready to go to our derelict freighter it's going to be awesome oh yeah we can learn some words while we're here oh oh that's okay we'll sell first legs in a pastry for 38 yes proteinus donut proteinist protein doughnut uh we're gonna sell our creature pellets yes a viking effigy no we'll keep that for some standing we'll talk to somebody and give it to them as a gift our guy right out here a fluffy throat ripper yes i think that's it yep that's it all right this is a viking guy right here he'll take my uh he'll take my gift because he likes me the life form gestures at me as i approach i draw their attention to a weapon an impressive sidearm is this a threat is there attempt to intimidate a boast oh learned his word i did so some of these aliens have already been and you notice how it saved it because i saved and quit so it's saved that i've already been here so we're just learning some random so we have a translation technology so we have a gek relic viking dagger and corvex casings very cool we have all the translator technologies now we know the blueprints for that for free man talking to that toil gek back there really helped us out i'm a little nervous now all right all right you guys well next episode we will hopefully we we did a whole bunch of milestones this time we only have two more missions to we're waiting for our missions that are complete on that we have to earn explorer guild standing and explore derelict freighter we're going to do our derelict freighter next time and we'll get our guild standing let's see do they even have missions for us let's go over to the guild envoy right here the mission guy the mission agent i should say and this is for a viking viking viking okay explorer is guild but i have to be a level nine so i can't even accept the explorer's guild uh mission right here because you need to be a certain level to accept these ones but i have a bunch of viking missions so that's what i'm talking about some of these are kind of a pain in the butt because you have to be a higher level a higher approval level in the uh guild the explorers guild so we cannot do this one that's okay we'll find one though we will find one right after we do our derelict freighter all right you guys so hopefully you guys like the episode if you did hit that like
