this here is my 1979 chevrolet silver rattle nope custom deluxe phew real nice uh very very basic butter off the interwebs of course sight unseen paid the guy showed up at the tray more hooked a winch on her and drug her on and slammed her down right here and it sat here another i don't know six seven months what i'm saying is it's been years and years and years and years and years since this thing's been on the road so let's see if we can get this thing fired up and go for a cruise welcome to vice grip garage [Music] [Applause] [Music] so the reason i bought this chevrolet right here is it has a 350 engine and a 350 transmission and a drive shaft to which this 79 gmc flavor does not look at the front ends engine transmission negative engine transmission this one doesn't have a title of course i'm going to try to get one but what a guy's thinking is if this engine and transmission works great why can't i snag that out and snip it into here this one's got a tittle that's from colorado plus the bodies in way way better condition so i'm thinking of making one good truck out of two potentially getting a tittle for this one and putting something in this these short boxes they're hot and i ain't kidding you i'm talking 90s shania twain music video hot okay so let's take a walk around this rig i got a little bamboozled gray primer and photographs from 97 feet away when you got three of them i think is all i had looks sharp solid body then you show up and go what what did i do what did i just do anyway let's hook our peepers on this thing bumper well that's missing well the hood at least no that shot rotted all the way around it hey this front fender no dance rust bondo this door might be good no that's caved in needs a lot of work probably savable though cap corner already been patched box bondo there's like a door screen in there from like a screen door lots of rust it's got chrome tips be though got original-ish style wheels none of the tires hold there on the whole rig at least the bumper is good tailgate's got about a quarter inch bondo on it she's just been beat speaking of cabin screen doors it's got 78 tail lips in it here and there you can tell because of the way that they are or just read it you know it'll tell you right here this side of the box is better no you can see all the surface rust and bondo and there's been a dent down here this has been patched with about half an inch of bondo so that shot same story on the cab but even worser over here this door is really good shape just ignore all of this flexy bondo light down here and that huge long dent you know someone might need that section who knows and also this fender well and rust i think it's missing like 17 feet down there and everything like that so as you can see the body is really good on this truck you know so i'm glad that worked out for me it's got a 73 reel in it recessed egg crate pretty sure any hooves and also oddly enough it's got an early style dash bezel missing the glass you know or the plastic you don't need that but we brought her back up with the sun pro package aftermarket what is this temperatures sure this is real nice the pink tribal seat is absolutely perfect can ask for better can of starting fluid that's you know a great indication that it runs really good guy ran rotella though i like that bunch of junk frash it was either converted from a man well or she's just got manuel breaks i think it was a manual there's no indicator in here does have the auto column obviously but this is probably switched out you know and uh clutch used to hang and swing down there that's gone probably was a six cylinder three speed i would guess what's behind here oh you don't need to bolt them seats in that don't matter nothing behind there oh here's why it's a custom deluxe pee dipped look at the wood work in here we got one over here oh we do look at that that is why it's a custom deluxe we got the ams with the fm high performance fan switch we got ignition sticks that's neat guy had a couple wobble pops looks like it probably gets hot got some motor oil in here i mean air cleaner air fill tray whatever you call them i don't use them that probably means you know it doesn't have one so it's eaten dirt it's been painted 57 times so that's neat but hey look at the the wheelhouses them are pretty good actually let's be serious for a second the bed's not too rotted normally they get some rot you know down in here but neither side has that so that's pretty neat got the trim around the cab that's like the custom deluxe or the silver rail kind of signature weird mirrors those actually look fordish if i'm being completely honest with you but that's just the way she goes well let's pop the power barn see what we got going on under there already got a back crack waterfall going on don't you go chasing it either okay this here's the reason i bought the rig guy said this thing ran like a scolded gorilla and i ain't kidding you oh well i'll be dipped we got some go fast goodies on here no just a bunch of junk bolt-ons basically but we got everything fuel making happener okay sure we got the lightning storm maker in here still i mean i think everything's in here so we're off to a good start fan shroud's missing don't need them where we're going what is why don't we got medical gloves in here i don't know at this juncture we do have an air filtration system by the way i'll just bring get in here come over here take a look at this she's already got a super starts battery in her with the go handle so that's pretty neat non-ac truck manual brakes manuel steering i mean she was a very very basic jobber look at this hot rod with the red intake and the orange block and the edel broken bolt-ons these look pretty neat actually ain't gonna lie to you why wouldn't a guy there that's fixed so i mean we've got everything here we've even got an eagle broke garb on there man well choke of course that's all right what oh that bracketry you know professionally installed got no kick down don't need them that's fine wiring looks just did i work on this that looks like some vice grip garage wiring if i've ever seen any got the temp gauges jammed up in here that seems pretty neat the heater's still hooked up got some sort of aftermarket fuel pump later or at least a reman or something like that we got is this a transmission cooler no all be dipped there is one in there maybe it is hopped up i don't know line was replaced at some point so was that one i mean someone definitely farted around with it oh these here cause more fires than ex-wives and i ain't kidding yeah they either shake loose or sit in an age these little gaskets in here well they don't gasket anymore and fuel leaks and then you got fire so if you got one of them get them out right now fellers we got a chrome shift maker happener stick back there even holy smokes i don't know maybe it does run good i hope it does because like i say it would be really nice to take all of this and just put it in that truck get some lps on this thing maybe even buy the insurances that i hear about and then we got a nice little short box and that body although not greater gooder is good arrester than this one well take a look look at it you see any big dents nope it's got a bad transmission back here that's fine look at this tailgate look at it lean forward get in here open open your eyes up look at this tailgate holy smokes this bedside you ever seen something like that ignore the rotten cab corner in the door look at the top of the door on the top of this fender and the same exact rust that this one has but it's got a title okay well oh we're missing a bolt there you don't need all of them i mean that's why there's eight of them or whatever well that's wow maybe it has gotten really hot because that's that's way more floppy edge than it should be we got more chrome definitely get us home these are shorty headers by the way i don't you don't see those a lot actually they're mid lengths look at that huh that's interesting that is interesting well guy reckons she just got a surgery you know another guy was tinkering with her and just gave up hard to say real hard to say i got this thing so darn cheap that either the feller recognized that the body ain't worth nothing other than the roof cab call it or rough you know if you're from massachusetts or whatever that's like trying to say worchestershire how do you even say it no one knows anyway i either got a scream and deal the sentry on this thing or the body and the engine is bad probably the latter but we're fixing to find out here hood hinges are shot so that's good let's get in here what have we got dipstick seems really wrong what okay normally i you know taste the oil but there's absolutely nothing on the stick so that's good we'll ignore that for now pretend it didn't happen put that back what about the shift machine we got a chrome thing on this that's blood red doesn't smell like burnt macaroni in a microwave so that's probably good also looks to be at least 17 quarts over full i'm going to also ignore that let's just put that right back okay now let's go on ahead and see if this thing's blew it up probably should see if it rotates over and all of that stuff before we even start spending any more time or money on this thing with how much stuff there is on this engine it either blew it up didn't run good something happened or the guy just actually was an honest feller that was in a pinch and needed to make a little bit of money yeah yeah that never happens on facebook okay so let me get some ranch dressings we'll throw it on the crank analyzer down here and see if we can rotate this thing you know all the way around see what happens well this is the first in a while uh the crank bolts just it's gone it's not broken this is completely missing that seems fine definitely tells me this engine was assembled with astuteness and concern for performance specifications all right well this just twist on the key i guess i really don't like to do it this way here we go bring it on the thunders bring it again bring it that is really really weird the battery is completely dead in this unit which never happens to me but i just found a phillips screwdriver i'll be tipped dave's looking up specific reason i grabbed this one from the shop well it's a superstar it's first of all but it's an academ at eggm hey aged agms sure it's gonna be better that's what i'm saying so we'll get this one out of here quick throw that one in by the way the sad cable is held together by speaker wire and electrical tape so that's approved wow for pete's sake get on out of here okay bring this guy in got like a mud flap from a semi underneath the battery tray here i think i own this truck i'm just trying to think when i sold it can't quite remember this battery's going to spin it over so let's not suck a light on anything out of the fuel tank that we don't want to you know what i mean let's control that environment if we can anyway let's unhook the fuel pump make it happen there and then uh you know we won't pull any more contaminants into the into the fuel make it happen why do these gotta be pushed on four feet now we got a fresh battery on there let's go ahead and twirl on the ignition sticks in there i don't know hopefully it just rotates and does the thing and it doesn't go clunk clank or wurst oh oh i don't know that's just i'm procrastinating you know i just i still don't understand what reba mcintyre is doing anyway all right let's do this here we go here we go again oh i got a bungee cord back there all right [Music] hey we got lots of good news first of all it cranks over second of all that battery has juice i know that's weird but just follow along did you hear how it didn't have a gallop to it it was just a straight hmm that's good means all the cylindres are approximately even or ish give or take seven percent on compression ratio fantastic news starter works good doesn't sound like a mopar one that's for sure you know dying dolphin [Music] [Applause] we're getting into story time all right so now we got to move on to do we got lightnings for the digitals and can we get fuel into the thing somehow maybe we try to use the tank that's probably a bad idea actually this thing's been sitting a long time so yeah let's go get the boat tank hook that up test the digitals out we got the high energy ignitions so we should just have to test the voltages in and the rest of it is a wizardry no one knows how it works it just shoots out lightning to the sparklators that's easy enough and if we got the boat tank hooked up there's no way it's not gonna get fuel so then it should you know should at least try to start i think we just made a plan this is really hot on my forearm probably first degree burn by now nope second and climbing any hooves experts will tell you oh you got to have strong 12 volts up here the rig won't run yada yada subsection b well i'm here to tell you i've driven one plus million miles on heis all you need is 9.5 for these lightning octopuses do do their work what do we got 12 4 8 more than enough just make sure it's semi close to your battery and if it ain't it's a ground fellers check your ground to your engine clean that up replace the cable if you have to spend the six bucks maybe just the end 395 i don't know but that's going to put you in a position to crank so we got lightnings in there i'm not even going to pop that capillator thing we'll just let's just wait we got voltages that's good enough now i'll hook my sparkle dude dabber in wonderful guy can get the lone wolf hooked up down in here not 99.8637 percent of the time it's the purple wire on the gm units buick olds pontiac cadillac chubby you know what i mean these are not those colors but i could probably guess by the gauge which one it's in one is going to be the accessories the other one's a battery the other one's the fusible length goes to the accessorize and the fuse panel the other one is the ignition kick so if i could split one of these open with the old knife here hook on my lone wolf jam it onto the battery we can crank on it out here and test on the sparkles plan well the guy's got her jumped into there purple wire hooked into the battery now oh yeah also look at this the fuel pump elator even though she ain't hooked up to a fuel tank later it's pump laden so the mechanical pump works just fine but also this is looking pretty darn good i gotta be honest oh yeah this here is my fuel tank 49 thousand also known as an arctic cat fuel tank jammed in a tin box but hey listen it works okay and it works really good i also got a switch down in there i'll show you in just a second once i get this rigged up inside of that there tin box some fuel from the 80s but don't you worry fuel from the 80s is better fuel than the today today's than now than here and now here's my switches so basically this goes on here this hooks into the battery well for pete's sake just hook on okay mm-hmm and then you know just plug the cord in and if we need it we got a digital pump but we're pretty positive the mechanical pump's going to work so we'll delete on all this for now we'll try to suck later right from the tank well where did i drop the snow i guess i got to i'm looking is this a sawzall blade no i've been working on rare road no still literally have not i have not done that well here's the plan if a guy ever had one of course we got the lone wolf hooked up we got fuel hooked into the arctic cat fuel carrier 49 000. we got the sparklator bleep blooper in here as well we're gonna test sparkles but it might pull fuel and if we got sparkles maybe she'll fire i don't know let's find out zero sparkles hmm that is interesting is this the here's the crank bolt just hanging out in the firewall here the front one well boy they was in a hurry clearly this engine was just quickly swapped in here i'm gonna guess it doesn't run with a hoot but who knows any who's it ain't even got sparkles so i'm gonna take the calculator off see what we got going on we know we got voltages coming in and there's really only two things in here that are going to cause the issue one is going to be the coil itself of course you know that does the low voltages to the high voltages to the lightning and the other one is the ignition module those are commonly replaced without any sort of silicon or dial electrical greases in between the actual body of the distributor case and the ignition module itself and what happens is they heat up and cook and when they cook they don't work you know what i mean they're not meant you can't cook them they're not meant to be cooked so let me just i'm trying to get in here right now can't see nothing distributor's been apart a thousand times all the clips are busted out of it see the cap looks it's a little worn but it's still doing cap things oh for pete sake i just where's my leatherman i don't know i'm gonna mark number one here we're just putting a lot of scratches in the you know where the lightning hose goes unhook these well get off of there for crying in the mud i just never seen satcha okay now that i'm out of wind i think that's going to be the issue ignition module looking at the cap on the rotor those seem fine i'm going to run down to the hardware store grab an ignition module and a coil just in case and then we'll pull that coil out and test it after we buy the new one but put the ignition module in first am i making any sense here or is it a thursday okay well see you guys in an hour and 42 minutes well i'm back took a june bug to the face at 98 miles an hour you know took the motorcycle that felt great woke a guy right up nope felt like a gunshot wound but anywho i got i think i got the parts we need let's just get in here and let's get it done let's do a thing there's about 110.93 chance it's the ignition module but we'll change the lightning coil while we're in here because i noticed you know the nub that hits the flapper on the dodap spinner upper 200 here just been ground down with the cinder block you know the one grit i mean i approve of that that's fine i'm not saying it's bad i'm just saying clearly the reason this guy was parked is they lost spark and they just started grinding on stuff and scraping and and then they're like well let's sell it been here about 142 times so we'll replace that as well we're going to have sparkles just spraying out of this thing it's not even going to know what to do basically because there's so many sparkles this is the old delphi ignition module in here and i picked up an accusal i don't know gives you like another 200 horsepower or something nope same exact horsepower just 23 dollars more better warranty that no one uses hold your breath lean over oh i'm leaning hold your breath unplugged we gotta unplug it got it out well this one had juice on it see the bottom there the electricals grease but what kind of uh there's not even a marking on this this is like a chicken lemay brand definitely probably not good not even going to put the old digital meter on her let's just toss that new one in whoa there's like 58 pounds there's half of a tube of caulking in this lightning whirler well that's good saves me a step and then we'll put the new coil in and then we'll see if we got sparkles where did i put that little jobber working on the lightning storm coil here you know she's got rust and things all the way around it it's probably you know what i'm it's not a it's like a it's like a storm warning not a watch you know it's not that serious that's what i'm saying so i'm gonna go ahead and spend the twenty three dollars replace this i'm gonna let's get this out of here i'm gonna replace this well for pete sake i've just never seen such a stubborn i'm gonna replace this thing here or get it out of here oh yeah see and this thing's just been ground down like a skateboard veil there ain't no nub left on it this is wrong springs missing that's rotten completely rusted all the way around my arms being bitten by a horse fly it'll go away eventually okay so can i save some money and not replace this yep that seems okay what about this jobber yeah i'll put a file on this save on this as well same with the lighting hoses guys don't panic don't just start replacing parts okay oh i bought a new vehicle it needs new everything stop it oh it doesn't it only needs what it needs okay write that down all right where did the new one go i don't even know over here well how does this work now i got 54 different clamps some sort of jobber springs strings we brings melody where rhythm is life and life is for them okay well if you know like i know you don't want to step to this where's the g funk era funked out with the gangster twist i thought we got a new one of those in this kit that's the whole reason that's why i bought this where's the oh no did i already lose that two on three we'll regulate borrowed this from the 81 down the row here so when that doesn't start in six months you guys can laugh at me this one's not ground down she's got a little nub on her left so there's that take this thing i'm going to go ahead and set this over to spring first then let's bring this new puppy in i don't know this wireage image oh for crying in the mud there we go i'm trying to help you out and you're just you're dropping stuff these wires are someone you got these are is what i'm here's what i'm doing with my life rebuilding an hei and a junkyard i'm pretty darn good at the you know the compact disc get throw them on the ring thing undefeated they hang my picture up anymore when i come around because you know i got we're gonna win i got things to do okay this was rebuilt this is that's a bad one we don't want that anymore this is gonna come over here i don't well that one's down there now but this one you only need one of these they put two as an option you know but one will snugger up guy just snagged in the rotator of lightning storm maker ten thousands something else that i noticed one of the screw receiver bolt hole positioners you know cross thread cross thread is better than no thread but here's what i'm telling you here's where i'm going with the story well can i move my feet around here it was not one of the sides was not affixed so the rotor was you know she was slanted up so i did the right thing instead of drilling and tapping that out i just re-re-cross threaded it more straighter and i think it's she's flush in there now you know i don't know i guess we're just we're gonna have to find out we've made some pretty high dollar improvements here well how in the devil does a guy get back here now well the guy does do believe that the ignition is ready but before we go crankalizing on her some more she ain't got no earls so let's go ahead and fix that found some t6 laying around which is a fancy flavor i think this is the syntheticals yep extreme temperature sure whatever we're just gonna you know spill about 40 of this we do have some earl in it like i was saying about 42 gallons of it spelt on the header but that'll just make things exciting what is this upper rod hose to not this vehicle high mileage oil stabilizer clearly a new engine you know just lost receipts it's probably on my mom's house you know typical craigslist stuff brake juice ain't got no brakes and another can of starting fluid well i am pretty darn confident we just resolved the issue actually it just needed the sparkles back so i'm going to turn the key back on let's get on the lone wolf see what we got going on keys on don't the accelerator pump does anything but it's a good practice here we go bring the thunders no is it gonna idle well i hear something leaking what is that oh that's just the coolant circulating must not have a thermostat don't ah any hoose like i was saying i think we got her fixed can't do that here it's the back i think we got her fixed just needed a ignition module all right so this one's bad into now we got any juice in the rad i didn't even look about to lose my arm checking oh can the cap come off oh there's a little juice in there [Music] all right let's just let it just let it percolate for a minute the valve train is there i mean it's got oil pressure and i ain't in there dumb lifters pumped up right now you know what i mean but we got a miss on one through eight one three seven two three two three two three six six and seven all right something's not good [Music] a little smoky i don't know if that's a cam or it's a bad bad mess [Applause] that's a mess [Music] wow that runs something terrible [Applause] well the thing runs which is just you know what i'll take it i think it's got a cam in it if i'm being honest but it's also got kind of a gallop slash missing her we'll take a look at that throwing some ice cube juice in it i don't think this is the right flavor but you know what it's what i got all right let's save on this one yep saved let's bring this down listen fellers when you close square body hoods don't pull it's not a back exercise okay you push it's like working your testicles push push see you see what just happened okay let's say you keep the kinks out of the hood there get on up there and then my switch you know we're not using this right now but there we go all right now that we did all of that let's test the shift-o-matic in this thing the guy i bought from said that transmission will snap your neck when it shifts i mean it's brand new 13 miles lots of receipts built by the best no prep drag racer in the world sure so you put some lucas drown slip in it all right let's see what it's got i guess it's hotter than a george straits hits album in here door ding all right let's see what happens when we just turn the key timing's too far advanced give it a little gas [Music] there we go we still got the oil pieces as it says it's charging the attack is pointing at negative six that seems normal all right reverses [Music] we're doing a burnout we did a burn out in reverse that gear's there boy the shifter is weird [Music] i think it's got a positive rear end [Music] it was spinning the right rear and then it kicked in the drinker side and the driver's side [Music] we got a transmission fellers [Music] oh yeah okay now bigger question does the am radio work ah dang it come on i don't want i don't want this truck anymore i just i guess i gotta sell it bentley decided to come out and mow for me which will be nice yeah that's a little better what a good little human always thinking about others got to keep the ticks down much as a guy can i don't need a redneck blood transfusion currently now i can clearly see that i think we got one tire up nope we got two tires up opposites here and in the rear so i'm going to see if the other two will air up if i remember right they held air long enough to get home on a trailer which was a couple hours so we might be okay we'll just plug this in see if they lift up again if not well i know where to get some other ones i guess i don't know we'll go with 20 for now [Music] well i can hear that one leaking over there it is for sure valve stem maybe it'll hold long enough to scoot it around trying out the front here what i'd like to do is you know let's bring it forward if the guy can get rolling around on his belly on this dirt we can start working on it out here much better well this one went ahead and held there too but it is also you can hear it it's leaking it's got a slow leak so that's good 50 of them kind of fish hole there but good enough to roll this thing forward all right let's snag this old girl forward plus we can maybe see if it's got brakes nope unlikely very i got to fix that timing [Music] boy that feels wrong it's got kind of sort of breaks fellers but like something's dragging i don't know if it's breaks i don't know it just didn't feel it didn't feel right but that's okay because again we're just after the engine and transmission on this thing but it moved on its own power [Laughter] guys sliding the jack under here saw this dripping followed it up in there and yep the weep hole in the water pump is leaking which means the water pumps bad great but chrome oil fan 39 horsepower doing oil change things it's my favorite one it's 107 when you're laying in dirt you know just get out here and change your oil well we got an stp in this for a filth tray e oh that was torqued on about 700 foot pounds holy smokes what did they lock tight this how can anyone in america have such a grip this is like a russian oil change okay well that was easy nope oh it looks like you could never take the engine out based on where the headers are they are shorty headers and they made them mid length by some ghetto adapter i'll show you see i thought they were shorties and they are and then there's this thing there's the motor mount bolt or the nut rather and then that's called torched off so you know everything is everything is good basically on this rig guy's got a wix fill down there of course what is this engine treatment max performance conditioner and cleaner sure it was the cheapest thing i could find for you know a fifth court basically i got a couple quarts in each of these t4s over here heavy duty diesel oil 1200 ppms you know's bill it's got all the dinosaurs and vitamins the guy needs nailed it top this thing off quick tires down again we got some good oil pieces it is hot fellers i ain't feeling very good i ain't acclimated to it yet think what we're gonna do we got the earl changed we're safe to drive on it a little bit i got i don't know 2 17 of tank gas here let's scoot it down the road to the shop pull this thing in under some shade huh get a fan blowing on us for pete's sake and then we'll continue on with well there's everything to do still but first time driving this rig more than 12 feet in many many years well here we go we'll ease up to the shop we're either going to run out of gas or the tire's going to go flat before we get there but that's fine they were called got a fence down over here somewhere i'm gonna swing through here quick and check on that well guys got her scooched into the shop here i'm gonna pull out some of these sparkle laters and just scan on them and see if we really need to change them i'd like to save the money if we could these are getting expensive these days sellers i just snapped porcelain off this one so this one's definitely going to need to be replaced richer than bill gates but they don't look bad let me pull one from this side i think we might couldn't leave these whoever put them in torque them to 70 000 foot pounds that ain't bad either and i ain't kidding ya i think i'm just going to leave these alone fellers put this back in we can focus on timing i know that it's too far advanced right now and then we could dial in the fuel make it happen or a little bit better see if we can get it to just be a little bit happier at idle well this fire maker fuel filtrate is right in my teeth here before i forget i'm gonna go on ahead and replace on this of course i'm going to pop in a wicks well a guy got to looking down in here and no wonder it ain't timed right there's no timing tab and there's also i don't know three to 12 missing bolts on the timing cover so that's fine that is marked up nice though but i don't need no timing tab to tell you that this guy is too far advanced and this is one of the reasons i always preach it is well worth your time tellers and fellats to learn how to tune engines by the sniffer and ear and eyeballs and whatnot it comes in handy you know stuck in the middle of nowhere stuff like that it's not a practice you'd you know do every day allegedly but you got to learn how to do this stuff so i'm going to back her off [Music] a little bit we'll fire it up get the ear meter out see what we got going on when i feel like we're close or as close as we're gonna get then we'll jump into the fuel make it happener and you know start to tune on that all right let's see how this guy runs now [Applause] yeah that's already much better get your ear meter out [Music] yeah see so now i'm gonna shut it down and then on the recrank it could be a weak starter but typically if the timing is too far advanced it's really really going to drag kind of sounds like heat soak in a starter that's a huge key indication that you're way too far advanced as you can see we've completely resolved that issue so ear meter dialed her in timing is close enough for what we're doing i'm going to go ahead and lock that back down and then we can jump into the fuel make it happen so now we're going to dial in the idle circuit here and what we're looking for is the highest reading of mercury venus mars on the dial indicator here but again your ear meter can get you home and it's very very obvious turn the screw in when it starts to stumble run a bit a little bit rougher start backing it back out back it all the way out until it gets a little rough again and then i like to bring it in about three quarters of a turn one turn somewhere around there shut it down run that all the way in run it all the way back out counting the turns set the other screw the same and then repeat the process again and you can get pretty darn close now if you want to be you know finite here you'd pull the carb off and check that the transfer slots are square and then hook your gauge up and do it this way and this way basically all you're doing is just turning these screws until you get the highest reading possible on the gauge and basically your you know the burn the fuels atomizationals of the science and the combustion chambers you know they're happy they're doing the thing in there so we'll fire it up again nice thing about idle brokens you just come in here with your fingers and twist on them and do the thing so see what we can do turning this in [Music] [Applause] you can hear it starting to stumble [Applause] go the go try to prevent this hood from bending in half it's already got you know scoliosis of the bends right now but we might be able to bring it around well it's time to deal with this water pump down here now normally i'd take my mouse sucker 500 and flip it over to the radiator evaculator 10 000 mode works great just take off the lower rad hose stick that vacuum hose right on the radiator and just let it and then flip it over to the lower hose and the way she goes but we're gonna do it to make a mess way because i don't know if my vacuum works anymore [Music] [Music] so [Music] do [Music] [Music] well we repaired the ignition and lightning system oil change good enough tune-up fix the water pump just put more air in the tire we'll ignore that leak probably get 40 miles on it i think there's nothing left to do but stick this old gal on the highway and see how it does let's go for a cruise seat belts well my littlest human i'm responsible for wanted to go for a cruise too huh since we got a seat belt and 23 brakes why not [Music] swinging by the well and we got to put some water in the rat and then we'll hit the road i don't know if fuel gauge works or not says quarter tank maybe we should bring a jog just in case okay we might be out of jones again that's weird we'll just go without it well we keep flirting with 200 210 200. fan shroud might help probably not don't know what's going on with the fuel gauge hasn't moved still got good oil pressure we also got a dragging brake so we better just take it easy runs pretty good but you know the old sticky caliper she really just wants to go left on a guy got first second third transmission actually does shift pretty decent i'm not gonna lie pretty decent [Music] i actually got out of it because we got this corner there we go that's pretty good ah not a peacock yeah i always see peacocks out here we are a long ways from home too we gotta get you know we gotta go way that way we'll just let it cool down for a minute and i just started to use it back we really heated these tires up nice and sticky it's not going flat anymore maybe we fixed it just had to spin on it a little bit listen how good it sounds fellas just get them out blow the cobwebs out of them i promise you it'll bring them right back around again we're going to start easing back i hope we make it with this caliper if you remember on the dodge it locked up tight on us so that was we were thumbing home [Music] hey this thing runs and it runs pretty darn good a few kinks but i think i can easily work through them overall i'm very happy this is absolutely an engine transmission that i could put in that other truck and this thing goes down the road good enough i'm gonna go ahead and try to pick up a title for this thing and put something else together on this you might be wondering hey what are you doing way up here in your property this ain't the shop well turns out the fuel gauge does not work quarter tank is well it's empty don't have any fuel and yeah we really quite honestly did not bring any with us so you know we're just going to call up jessica and she knows the deal but i that's going to do it for this episode if you
