1970 Chevy sitting 20+ years! Will it start?

I think we're gonna get some air in these tires first thing so I'll get the compressor fired up and sorry about the noise it is a little loud all right so we got air in the tires [Music] [Music] look at that that's some gas there um if it wasn't 300 degrees I'll do this in here plus the lighting um I'm gonna get all this stuff cleaned off of it and set to side get her pulled at least closer to the door hell yeah oh that is a smell I say that's Park reverse neutral hopefully if anything goes wrong here you yell loud thank you but I mean this thing rolls like a dream and now we can see what's under there a big reveal foreign check this thing out it's got a funnel that's good because I'd forgotten the funnel look how far that thing sits forward or the firewall that's wild [Music] it has disc brakes I think you said disc brakes on the front so [Music] you're saying like 20 years ago they went to go get it started and it was leaking fuel oh yeah it's got all the signs of a good truck stick where is it okay I see I see I thought that was a transmission stick that ain't bad at all no water nothing scary in it I think this is going to be pretty easy but one thing I did do was grab the fan the rust popping on the pulleys yeah and you can see by the pulley rust this whole girl has not movemented in a while seems quite quite dry get this off is the longest you want to make any bets Mouse house or not I mean they would have had to work a little bit to get in this one but I don't know okay yeah when I opened the door and you can see the mice just scattering this thing is glorious it's not perfect by no means but dang we got one two and then Factory three over there four how many kinds of carpet are in here this isn't this is awesome we got pink we got blue we've got boat carpet let's see what's the mileage mileage is seven four oh seven five I'm judging by that pedal that could be 174 274 3 4 5 74 who knows it's locked yo all right there 2001 so that was 22 years 22 years since it's done some stuff I believe it but the wheels are free the engine's free this is good this is really good I think for and it's points he said so that's another good what is up with this was this just a let's probably keep your spark plug wires from melting because they are a little lanky uh uh if I touch that it's gonna die this will be easy to take off so first thing we'll do now listen I could pull all the plugs and do all that and put oil down them [Music] but this thing already spins pretty free so what I'm going to do is just put a good amount of two-stroke gas down the carburetor while I'm messing with it and let that sit like I said now if you want to do this right you would pull the plugs and do the cylinders but we'll just kind of like let's kind of let that set up while we uh yeah oh we got wetness I shouldn't have opened this this was a mistake enough all right breaks [Music] so it's got something's growing a little bit I don't like oh God the cap off the distributor and take that fuel line off because I don't want it getting my numbers in that tank up here it is they even flared the end on that line that 'll has a cap look very worn okay get sandpaper try to get some sandpaper down them points let's go put some power to it she's barking never hurts foreign not gym I mean well Jim is Jim looked right at home abandoned in a barn but this dude I don't know his name I only know the sound he makes when he kills the man I'm just kidding he seems cool yes let's do a little uh kind of show you more of the inside here oh we're smoking she says she's over a half tank of fuel and I'm inclined to believe it because it seems like they're only ever full or half full when you don't want them to be yeah gas Tank's behind the seat I wish you could smell like gas it's uh it's something else we're doing this angle because I was like seeing the exhaust when these things start [Laughter] foreign [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] my door shut that's kind of scary all right one more time foreign I pulled the Overflow coolant tank out of my truck and we're going to put the coolant in this one the reason for that is I need a fuel tank and I forgot to bring one like Adobe so as soon as that finishes draining in here where's my header [Laughter] see what it do it listen to that that's unbelievable still not pumping up from the tank believe it or not that's not the first time my overflow coolant tank out of gym oh there goes one they're bailing out okay so the plan is now to turn it around and uh get all the stuff out of the back of it so we can get her clean foreign [Music] let me uh go find some fluid so after a bunch of stupid backwards and forwards and we made it this far and it's broken it's sucking fuel now we should be able to watch that fuel gauge start to go down because it's pumping the old gas into a bucket okay so we're getting the stuff cleaned out of the bag now it is pumping old fuel out of that tank and it's disgusting I got it in a bucket up here the only problem is well that carburetor the float is sticking it needs to be taken apart and done right but right now I'm just trying to you know trying to get her done and get it over there washed could you keep it down in there anyway so I'm cleaning out the back of this I found this it's old looks like a patent date of 48 on the bottom have you ever heard of frosty root beer me either but it does sound good right now I bet that tasted horrible did you know iPhones overheat and the camera stops working yeah they do that his name's Festus by the way he's a friendly thing I found out it's time to we're gonna try to go over by that Ford Maybe Maybe foreign laughs information everybody shits on GoPro but that thing ain't overheating ain't perfect that's a lot better than it was this morning I fired up one more time [Music] this is a good drug let me tell you need some card work that ain't no biggie
