FIRST START in 10 years! We had to cut this Dump Truck out of the trees!

how about you i'm hey welcome to hamiltonville farm i got wildly with me dave what's up buddy you doing all right well if it's uh don't get any harder so we're literally here at seven o'clock in the morning and it's 85 degrees and 100 humidity already i'm sweating yeah hey man that's old spice yeah no it's not is it not oh okay secret hey listen we've got a cool video for you today we've got an old international dump truck we're going to show you guys all about it tell you the back story behind it we brought the tym here because we're going to need to kind of walk around it and and get cleaned up a little bit without getting snake without getting snakes here all right this is an international dump truck i don't know anything about the model number it's a uh let's see it was last tagged in 09. it's a s 2600 until we get it cleaned up but uh that's what the bush hog is for it uh like i say it's been sitting here for a while it's international we'll take a look at the inside here in a minute and so wiley the cool thing about this is that we get to uh we get to help this old guy out right so i was texting him old guy well because he's older than me and i'm an old guy okay so we were i was texting with this gentleman and uh we were like hey listen uh he was telling me because he he said uh i've got this whole dump truck down here i parked at ramon park and uh when i parked it we we parked it because we got a new truck and then we just kind of at the at the end of the day you just i know what that's crazy in it at the end of the day you just kind of forget things are down here you know what i mean he's got he's got several hundred acres out here and uh kind of in the back 40 but now we're just told he's like look we'll help you get back up and running if you need it up and running and he was like that's good because i can't find anybody to help me and uh and obviously we're going to do it for free to help this guy out and hopefully it puts it back back to work so all right well don't stand in that because that is nasty let me get uh i actually brought a front mounted brush cutter with me today along with the homestead implements bush hog on the back i walked around it wild and i think it's uh i think we can get in here without breaking anything i think cuts as wicked as that emblem looks i know so this is actually king welding and fab uh out of minnesota it's a father and son outfit they uh they literally i mean i like support supporting small businesses i i've had this for about two years now and uh it's a good machine and anyway just a that princess yeah that thing fire right up too and this one's got a key in it so the other one what was the other l10 well there's this one recently yeah i don't know we've done so many yeah yeah so this one was last tagged to know nine and so it's a 93. so he ran it a few years i'm not going to try to do math in public because i got i got some comments about it last time check that oil lee wiley oh yeah this thing's making them all right look at that all it needs is batteries that's all it's gonna need it actually i mean it does look pretty good there's no i don't even see no like straw or pine cones or nothing like that on it yeah this right here is the oil filler let's see let's see if this thing's going to actually be able to breathe or not wiley i know it's not like you and have that's a big old dagger filter all right a fuel gauge all right [Laughter] that's for those hundred gallon tanks i hope it's got fuel in it wiley speaking of fuel and oil you know everybody around the world is talking about high gas prices and stuff oh goodness it it's dry dry here we go oh look at that whoo that thing's been set in 10 years wiley it got parked march 8 2012. you believe that i'm trying to think where i was that day yeah i think you were i think you were cashing into a lot of the scratch tickets that you had won four dollars [Laughter] it's on a little while since that fuel filler has been off but it'd be easy to get to yes sir and starter get it be easy to get to too we got a key remember well listen i don't people don't like to see you turning keys people like to see you welding oh why are you going slow wiley we can't see any walls yet they're somewhere look at that dude those are clean too wow look how clean those are 19 oh this truck ain't been sitting that long a couple years my sniffer's going bad well well he might have tried to this is true i was going to bring it back decided against it yeah let me give him a volt meter yeah all right all right all right all right all right eight you might be able to throw cables on this you know what would be awesome i can't see that what that's eight still okay so eight volts there you go so i've been it's been sitting eight years and then i'm wondering now what struck are you on uh we're on the red uh international dump truck yes sir it was crank actually i think my son started it two years ago maybe three years ago okay yeah because i know we noticed it had clean batteries in it the batteries have eight yeah the batteries have eight volts in them so it didn't look like it was long but it but it been parked 10 12 years maybe well it's actually been parked about eight years or eight years both of them trucks were parked about the same time um but now my son had went down there and put batteries on that red when it actually cranked it probably three years ago okay all right no that that that that gives us a big clue of why the batteries are as clean as they are right okay okay he didn't move it or nothing it had flat tires on it he was gonna drag it out and it was tight about three years ago you know but now it wasn't drove or nothing but it has been parked about eight yes sir and that flight truck has probably been parked nine maybe ten years okay all righty well we're fixing to throw some jumper cables on this and and started it again for you okay buddy so i appreciate you mr johnny yeah buddy all right bye bye ollie i'll go ahead and get the jumper cables the uh wiley's actually gonna bring his truck over here because i got uh that gooseneck in here and i can't get can't get back there be kind of challenging so we'll do it this way i see it where's the lever oh how do you get that dent in your truck wally well i had a service truck working on a piece of equipment yeah and when he was moving around to actually jump it off he had his box down too soon oh no yeah you couldn't have told a cool story about like a deer run out like yeah actually a 12 point point did run out right here yeah i mean that would have been a much better story wiley good thing about uh letting this thing sit in charge for a minute gives us time for a water break don't it well man it's humid look like you done poured yours all over your shirt there well that's the the motor on the tarp is working yeah i see it and i hear it you hear the pump turning on me all right let me check do it again no oh hello i know right all right let's try it ain't locked up it made about a full rotation not quite there is it not quite man maybe we can figure out a way to help it figuring out a place to do it yeah and also trying to see where that injector pump turns on yeah bro right there that's the one we gotta get hot always something in it let's get to it it's hard for us that's right so our favorite tool gotta love the crescent wrench you know what i really can do about anything with it yeah a croissant soleil malay i got another one another cable we can use too you know but while we're gonna have to uh we're gonna have to uh vice grip the battery because i don't have a screw top post i just have one of those round top brown top posts that's on wrench and vice grips what else we need that's about the truth [Applause] i was with some uh when i deployed one time we were actually counterparts with a france french unit and uh these guys those french special forces guys they do some crazy stuff man i thought we did some crazy stuff they do some crazy stuff too but they were over there we were looking we were flying over iraq one night and waiting for saddam hussein to go into syria we thought saddam was going to go into syria and so we 16 hours we watched these guys or watch this stretch of road waiting for saddam to come out and well let's just say you never did but 16 hours i i made sure you didn't you know what i mean that's a long night man somebody told us in another video we can hook as many batteries as we want to up on long as we head back here only um should i cut that off i didn't want that to hit that but not that it would but there you go as long as it don't vibrate off well that's some hamilton farm cobbling can i uh yeah we cobbled that together i'd say jerry rigging it for sure all right now we got to get a piece of wire and get that pump hot okay i got some go ahead and put yeah is this it yeah yeah i got it it must go to a hot source then yeah it must have bypassed the key is it all is it no it goes up toward the back of the key yeah it's this blue wire right here okay we know i think all we got to do is just here i might now listen i'm deaf wiley so you put your ear on there that thing's got a thing for ether to start out let me take that zip tie off there yeah never cut towards your body but towards your buddy always cut towards your buddy not your body i'm not cutting that right there and we'll just splash that back together when we're done roger come on now now let's see if we got him here [Applause] yeah if the gauge wire is heavy enough you know just get big enough bite yeah so we went to this hot source down here into the wire okay all right try it again try it's funny because it flew it it flew out it flowed out it uh shot out like some feathers a little bit so it's gonna be awesome when it cranks up yeah all right go right do oh yeah oh yeah it's going to go buddy not quite there yet is it we'll add another battery to it just to see was it let's see here this will have to go here and then this will have to go on can you move that aluminum box and put these on here you're gonna have to do that right opposite what you've got hey put this up here so oh yeah okay clamp that and put that yeah yeah unless you're gonna use another pair that consolidates a that consolidates a uh a pair of vice grips no where'd you put that on there with that crescent wrench what'd you what that banged it on there oh okay this angled hold on wildly this let me i gotta find a brick or something hold on before you do that watch your toes we'll just extend the battery box how about that that'll work i got another cable here really hank you know at least bang it too use your strong hands i think that one would be better this one i'm throwing those away wow have to recommend i bet your craftsman makes a good pair of boxes i think shoes yeah did they go to lowe's maybe this thing sears head they should come on probably snap on mexico ah maybe maybe that's cobbled hopefully that doesn't vibrate off and explode oh yeah look at that wow that's awesome all right you wanna see if it drives hey it's been at least two or three years since this guy started it yeah oh yeah sorry apparently it is smoking yeah man let's do it [Applause] [Applause] yeah we can't forget that wiley go ahead do it holding it together with vice grips and then it builds up pressure all right but i think the air has got to run through this to the brakes right something's got to build that tank up okay maybe that release i don't know if that'll help it or not i think i'd see it maybe that's what it is maybe it's the ac switch [Applause] [Music] nothing else on that dash is moving i don't think that air is going to move while if we can get it to move we'll just park it over here by that horse trailer and then that way we can access our next project over here while he's in there trying to blow a horn it just ain't working [Applause] [Music] and now it's done way to go wiley yeah that's all i'm saying we've been letting it run for a while now just this ain't building up here yeah yeah man that's [Applause] yeah so we're not gonna now i can see why he's crank it but didn't move it yeah yeah so we'll go ahead and get it cut off and get everything put back together yes that's it you just have to kind of do that there you go give me a place that ain't me and give me a place to presentation that was good voila voila let's see if those batteries build up in okay just hit the starter button the alternator works [Applause] cool all righty so will it start yeah it'll start will it run or will it dry you probably will but not this time yeah we we'll have to come back and get that air hose fixed
