Servicing antique tractor for parade

there's a groundhog that lives there isn't there [Music] okay all right let's try to start the uh farm all f12 i didn't start it last year because the parade was postponed to this year i don't want to put the oil filter on this someone like blocked off the oil filter and we've blocked it yeah it's been like that since i got it and then i found the oil filter that plate all right you think this should be on here should i not mess with it no you're only just going to run it one day i'm just confused why someone took this off how did you wind up with it not well it was what i found in the barn where it was but even more gas that thing started up so easy i probably could have crank started it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] ah man [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] so oh you don't like things being crashed you don't like pull starts kick starts or crank starts okay let's pull this until it starts [Music] i started right up let me just let that warm up [Music] all right so oh like that was overdue [Music] so [Music] foreign oh there it uh this is it the same thing looks like it could be okay um okay and here is look at that top of the filter [Music] [Music] [Music] okay not screw up this order goes this spring [Music] ball so oh it's just hitting the uh hitting the gate you know i don't think this is the right gasket this that does fit though [Music] spring and washer okay like that okay let's just put new gas in it and this gas is like not 10 years old but i'm not saying there's not any gas that's in there it's 10 years old i just kind of add gas every year to it look at that that's thinking it's not like i've written this in the dust at all oh it doesn't look bad though anything weird oh so so [Music] all right all right here's some fresh gas going in i'm pretty sure this is non-ethanol the non-ethanol is better the big problem the ethanol it draws water right out of the air so you'll have a thing sit over the for a while and all of a sudden get what happens is the gas gets orange because the water mixes with the ethanol and which is kind of good but then it's once you get too much water content it's um bad because it uh just the gas doesn't have the power it should i had a problem with a few marine things this year just sitting over the winter just see if we crack this open there it goes look at that all right tighten that back up this is how i got this tractor it had i was at these people's house doing work for them kind of weird people a little hard to deal with but they kept they're like oh we got this old tractor do you want it you want them to get yeah i do want that they showed it to me and then when we go there taking it um and they're winching in on a trailer then they're all like oh is it worth anything is it we don't know about this it happened so quick you told me i could have the thing it's sitting in a bar the problem was sitting in a barn that was falling down collapsing on it and they didn't have the money the building was garbage i ended up taking that building down for him and cleaning up that whole site but but i was like let me grab this out of here and get it running they bought the property from the guy who used to run the tractor and pretty much what he said like oh it's pre-hydraulic which is right i mean it's like you what work are you actually gonna do with this thing you know it's like there's no three-point hitch on it um which you kind of need i remember spending about a thousand bucks to get it running like a full tune-up rebuilt stuff like the fuel pump but got that i had to send this out to be rebuilt because i didn't have any spark and then like pulling it down the road like new year's day guys we got it running all right next day here so this stuff is dry i just want to pull this off just cut out the extra all right that looks fine uh um um [Music] off oh no it's gonna go to the woods oh oh no we got it good boy come on good boy he's right past me come on get it what's he doing he's sitting there with his good boy you got it all right cody what do you got that wouldn't happen to be a frisbee would it it's actually a trampoline game thing but i thought they were better frisbees let me see that buddy i can't throw it if you're doing that i know you want me to chase you but you're crazy fast so can i have that let me see how are you so fast let me see that oh so oh so so so [Music] all right so 2021 parade ride went well tractor ran perfectly i feel a lot better that that oil filter is back on there like it's supposed to be so that's all looking good and yeah i guess till uh next year
