pastor apostle murray and also our first lady lady danielle and our founding mother dr shirley murray good morning and welcome to you all let's give them a hand we just thank god for being in his temple this morning we thank god for smiling on us and allowing us to be here together and to all of our guests if you are here this morning just wave your hands praise the lord just thankful to god for being in his house we thank god for you being with us here today and just to let you know that we have multiple service times and we thank god that we've been able to come to the temple all of these times and enjoy the lord but our service times are sunday mornings the gates open at 9 30 and service begins at 11 a.m as well as we have multiple night services sunday night tuesday night and saturday night the gates open at 6 30 and service begins at 7 30 p.m and also we've been together today this is two months marks two months of us being here together with no major incidents yes that is worthy of a praise unto the lord hallelujah but with that being said i just want to reiterate this morning some of the things that we've been doing as far as practicing our social distancing and being safe we know that we all play a part in it and so i just want to reiterate some of those things this morning we all play a big part in it so let's continue with our social distancing let's continue we know that our masks are not required but they are encouraged and so with that being said we know that we have our workers outside on the parking lot our ushers and our different individuals on the inside nurses who are guiding all of us to follow certain procedures so let's ensure that we do that to ensure safety and order during the entering and the exiting of the sanctuary so everybody just make sure we're doing our part and also continue to avoid large gatherings or groups of people in the vegetable when we leave and when we enter as well as when we enter and leave on the parking lot and lastly continue to remember that we are not utilizing our water fountains at this time so if we continue to do all those things god is going to continue to bless us because we are doing our part and just for a reminder considering our services for evangelist georgia ibram the viewing is monday that's tomorrow from 2 p.m to 7 p.m at paradise funeral home and the home going is tuesday here at the temple at 11 a.m just to note that the final viewing will be from 10 am to 11 a.m there will not be a viewing following the eulogy and lastly we're remembering evangelist marjorie williams in the passing of her brother also our thoughts and prayers are with brother dale owens in the passing of his sister our longtime member sister loretta woodson and those homegoing services trouble trouble amen and trouble is raging everywhere hallelujah and we need peace people are murdering their mothers their fathers their wives and their children it's a murdering demon in the land we need peace saints family is in the land hard times joblessness trouble in the white house storms in the republican party storms in the democratic party jesus is the only one that can relieve these storms and give us peace when faith fails in your temptation there are there is at the utmost danger of shipwreck you're gonna have shipwreck a lot of times when trouble comes but if you just trust in jesus somebody say if you trust him and never doubt he will surely bring you out now it came to pass luke 22 8 22 now it came to pass on a certain day that he went into the ship with his disciples and he said unto them let's go up over to the other side of the lake and they lunch forth now praise god when jesus said let's go over to the other side he means just that it's nothing can stop jesus hallelujah whatever he say that is what will be done amen now when he had entered into the ship matthew 8 23 his disciples followed him and behold there are worlds of great tempest in the sea and so much that the ship was covered with the waves but he was asleep jesus wasn't worried about it you see he know that he had power over the storm and i want you to know today that jesus had power over your storm i know today that many people are going through many things they're going through many storms alive but i want you to know when the storm of life is raging you can trust in the lord you can trust in jesus because he said i'll never leave you not forsake you he said i'm with you even until the end of the world hallelujah and the disciples came and they wanted to wake him up it's one thing don't forget that you got jesus on board hallelujah when you are going through don't forget that jesus is on board with you hallelujah he said why are you fearful oh ye of little faith it's so it's so easy for us to forget it's easy to forget that jesus is on board hallelujah then he arrows and he rebuked the winds hallelujah what a mighty man this is welcome out of his sleep many of us if we hadn't woke up we'd have been staggering all over the house but he just woke up and said a few words he said peace be still that's what he was saying to your trials in tribulation if you would just believe in him hallelujah glory to god and remember he's on board hallelujah glory to god a lot of times when people begin to go through things they forget about jesus hallelujah they gonna think about what they can do hallelujah a lot of times with people that's going through trials and tribulations they're going to roll in the basically sometimes telling folk come on hallelujah but you need to remember jesus is on board hallelujah rebuke that spirit hallelujah glory to god i want to encourage you today glory to god to just hang on in there things that's gonna come hallelujah they're gonna come all you have to do is tell jesus said master the tempest is raising the bills it's tossing high i know you care whether i pay i know you care and you're on board i don't have nothing to worry about hallelujah the lord of god that's the kind of god that we serve today hallelujah remember glory to god that jesus is standing right there praise god praise god somebody began to holler out say what manner of man this is this even the wind's obeying i tell you nature have to take a seat and sit down when jesus speak i want you to know today your tribes have to take a backseat when jesus speaks when he speaks everything will be all right hallelujah when he speaks the liar quit life when he speaks hallelujah the tempter will go to another place he had to go because jesus speak he made this world everything that ran he made you he made me and everything have to come subject to the word of god clap your hand for jesus today hallelujah glory to god hallelujah this storm was the typical is typical of the sea of life life brings you many things it hands you a lot of hard things yes it do satan pitch some hot but i want you to know today that jesus is always there he can catch him and you're glad for jesus hallelujah sometimes the storms of life begin to rage what storm sister mary big stones little storms middle-sized storms hallelujah the storms of adversity the storms of tribe sometimes you go through one trial after another i believe somebody in here this morning knows what i'm talking about sometimes one storm after another but don't forget that jesus is on board with you he's there to bear your brothers hallelujah he's a burden bearer he's a heavy load chef he'll be right there clap your hands with jesus today hallelujah hallelujah the storms of temptation the storms of persecution sometimes you get persecutions from every hand you turn to the lap persecutions time to the right persecution time to laugh again persecution turn to the ease prostitution turn to the west persecution sometimes they come one after another but don't forget one thing who's on board i said who's on board hallelujah he'll take care your persecutions my god and temptations and difficulties amen sometimes look like nothing won't work out have you ever been in a place where it seems like nothing is breaking hallelujah sometimes seem like the heaven is brass it seems like you can't get a prayer too but you keep on talking to jesus jesus will break that yoke clap your hands for him this morning hallelujah peace in the time of storm he'll give you peace jesus said i'm gonna leave you peace he said not as the world give it give it out to you but the peace that surpassed all understanding a lot of times people wonder how can you take it how can you take what you're going through a lot of people imagine you by themselves because a lot of times they say i couldn't take it and how can you take it but when you got jesus on board hallelujah glory to god he'll take you through storms of sickness sometimes our bodies get sick but jesus is always there if it's not time for him to take you home sometime he's taking you home to rest from all of your tracks but storm of sickness he will heal you if it's not time to go home hallelujah but he promised us a home he said he said i'm going away to prepare a place for you then he said so he said if i go i will return again and i'll receive you unto myself he said there where i am there you will be also so he still give you peace tap your hands to jesus hallelujah glory to god storms of distress when you've done all you can do to stand you know a lot of times you can have a bill to pay and sometimes won't nobody let you have the money to pay that bill well you in distress when you're in distress jesus will make a way out of nowhere hallelujah a lot of times you don't see where it's coming from and you don't know nobody you can borrow it from but jesus will bless you hallelujah and he'll take make a way for you out of distress hallelujah glory to god hallelujah what almighty god we serve storms of disappointment have you ever been disappointed so disappointed you didn't know what to do well i can tell you what to do go on your knees go on your knees jesus got the world in his hand all he has to do glory to god is speak the word and that disappointment is gone some didn't lead you to pray for and many times people have gotten healed why are you witnessing to him listen brother break it god's a deliverer god's ahead have you heard god can heal you of this cancer god can deliver you from these drugs god can deliver you from smoking amen we're out there to do that we'll quote remember the truth has the power of god you know so many times i use the word we're packing power when you fill with the holy ghost you've got power [Applause] no it's not all reacted sometimes you have to activate it i don't believe something walking around here all the time man now i don't believe you no great big robusted fella am i but many times pray god when solomon prison i mean simpson pray god say we got to get a vision of it i believe sometimes when he was walking on he was just as normal as anybody else but when the enemy child of them that knowing of god moved up on him and he become a man out of this world then when that line come out to bring us he grabbed that amen that was the demonstration of the anointing of the power of god now god's not telling you to go ahead and grab somebody by that jaw like that but pray how when you when you get in the window sometimes you feel the anointing of god come upon you amen see that is a gift of faith when that gift of faith going up you don't even pay danger and attention this is why we should walk in this way we should see god amen our job is to do work for god when jesus said follow me and i'll make you visit me and pray a lot of his minister but first time he was healing the sick amen feeding the poor amen am i getting over to you tonight but listen this these things are never happening in our lives until we begin to see god and go out and try it what do you think happened praise god when peter and john went into the we're going into the temple in the third chapter of acts i believe they stood on what you said the work that you see me do shall you do and greater work than these shall you do they had been in school just like you're sitting here tonight amen taking the word in jesus meant what he said and said what he meant amen but that comes to time we have to faith without work is dead you i got faith they say you show me your faith without your word and i'll show you my faith by my word see the work you do before you get saved doesn't count but after you get saved you put work if you believe god you act on it amen you will act on it so praise god that day i'm sure peter went up quite a few times into the temple and the man said they're saying this couple that time the holy ghost quitting them amen and they looked on the man he said now the piece of civil gold have on holy ghost said this is the time to do what jesus said you could do but you want to trouble pray you don't believe you can do it when you want to call the past all time i'm not saying you should be independent but sometimes you may be out there on that job by yourself and pregnant and a tragedy to take place and you don't only witness that amen let me see let me let me get the pastor let me go get the pastor and you hear anointed with the holy ghost i mean if you he that has a you know let him hear what the spirit says this is the time for christ to be manifest himself through you amen and pray maybe right here breaker maybe you can't just do what you want to do but by being close you don't have to lay hands on folks [Music] they got there there a wall fell on 27 000 of them of the men that were left and then her dad fled and came into the city and hid himself in an inner chamber just look at somebody and tell them neighbor our god is the god of the hills and the valleys we talk so many times about how foolish it is to try to exist without god as bad as this world is now you got to be michael t used to say mad dog crazy to try to make it through the maze of this life leaning to your own understanding my grandparents told me that there was enough that you don't know to make a whole another world so it's foolish for us to think that we can just figure things out you can that's the reason why god makes himself available to us because there are things that we don't know and for us to presume that we can counsel ourselves is crazy we need a god on our side oh the psalmist said if it had not been the lord on our side we would have been swallowed up we would have been overcome we would have been overtaken by now but thank god that he's with us he walks with us and he talks with us he counsels us he secures us amen uh in all of our trials we've got a god that we can lean on you've got to know that these people that are existing now that are seeking to figure things out for themselves amen sooner or later must admit that we are wholly insufficient amen we cannot amen uh uh oppose the advancement of a menacing enemy that is always seeking to take advantage of us and i want you to know that amen the devil is an opportunist he will explore every opportunity that he can to take advantage of you that's the reason why amen we don't play around with that kind of stuff we don't flirt around with sin y'all don't get quiet on me now amen that's not who we are we cannot afford amen to put our hands on things that will give the enemy advantage in our lives and people can talk about us and you know they do hey man they talk about holiness folk and they say you know y'all go overboard y'all just do too much amen you know they tell us y'all do the most can i tell you amen as much as we do the bible is still right when it says that the righteous shall just scarcely be saved you've got to know for all of your holy living amen for all of your righteous living the bible still says that the righteous amen will just scarcely make it in and so when you think about the fact that your odds of getting to heaven to slim the nod amen nothing is too great for you to do amen to ensure that you don't give satan an opportunity to gain advantage in your life we need a god on our side and you know you've got people now amen that are just walking passively as if there's no reason no cause to get serious about life amen they have an attitude i just live and i let live but you've got to know that the devil amen is still seeking an opportunity to bring conflict to your doorstep he's never going to stop he's always going to try to get you to a place he meant when you find yourself in a state of constant warfare and it's not about your money it's not about your car amen but you're battling for your soul i want you to know that if you give the devil an inch he'll take a dial amen if you give him one day he'll take a long time and that's why they say if you play around with him hey man he'll take you too far and he'll keep you too long amen you can't just be passive in this hour you've got to determine now that whatever it takes amen i'm going to hold to my integrity amen and i'm going to fight the good fight of faith you know we're at a point now where people amen are characterized by compromise they're those now that don't want to live holy they don't want to amen hold to the standard of god amen they're just compromising everywhere you look the devil is saying let this go and people are walking away he's saying don't pray and people stop praying he's saying don't fast and they stop fasting hey man he put his hands on their children and they amen just gave him up to the will of the enemy but you've got to realize today's sons and daughters amen that you cannot be passive with the devil amen he's always trying to wrestle victory from you and the reality is if you allow him this then he's going to go after that amen i can't let the devil have any space in my life because the one thing i know about him amen is that one time it's too many but for him a million times is never enough if you let him he will walk straight through your whole life amen putting his hands on that and when you look up you would have given up so much ground until now you're sitting there wondering did i ever have victory in the first place but sons and daughters the god that we serve is an able god i wish i could get somebody to help me praise him i said he's an able god and god is able to give us victory in every place and at all times and amen i'm trying to find out is there anybody here that knows your god like that to know that he gives us victory in every place and at all times what are you saying brother herman amen we don't fight losing battles oh god i'm looking trying to find the amen section it's taken a while today amen we don't fight losing battles but the god that we serve amen is god across the spectrum he can bless us in our health amen he can bless us in our minds he can heal our finances amen he can restore relationships he can repair our broken heart so y'all hearing what i'm telling you amen god is able to give us victory in every place and at all the times and you know what i found out about god because he is so able our god don't mind flexing every now and then amen god don't mind showing his might and his power on the behalf of those that truly do love god amen he don't mind it amen because he understands that we've got an adversary amen that's out to exploit us and so the god that we serve is the kind of god that stands on our behalf i want you to know he's strong and they told us last night our god is a mighty god he's full of might full of power amen he is beyond superiority our god is able and you know what we've got to do we've got to realize that with a god like this we are far from weak can i tell you amen to you amen you are far from weak the devil wants to convince you that you can and i told you amen when you come up against one of those amen like apostle miles used to call them those mouse back demons amen the first thing the devil wants to convince you of is that you don't have the power to overcome him he wants to convince you that you don't have what it takes to see this thing through to the end but can i tell you amen you are not a weak child of god amen it's not that you're stronger in and of yourself but paul says i can do all things through christ because that's where my strength is coming from amen the devil wants to convince you amen that you are not sufficient for this battle but with god on your side i come to tell somebody you're going to make it out all right oh god i wish i could get somebody to look at your neighbor and tell a neighbor with god on your side you're going to make it out and you're coming out all right our god we're not weak amen and just because we love peace i don't mean that we can't handle ourselves oh god you've got to know just because amen you would rather not have to throw your hands oh god you're always saying that that don't mean that you can't you can't handle yourself and the worst thing that the devil can do he managed to think that just because you're peace-loving people oh god that you ain't got no fight left in you now i know the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but i'm trying to figure out is there anybody in here amen that's still bold enough to tell the devil don't try that but y'all don't get quiet amen we ain't got time hey man to sit down and act like hey man we got to cry every time we show up i'm just trying to tell you well what if i hit you do you really want to try that amen and find out just because i love peace don't mean i'm weak and it don't mean i can't handle my job and got quiet i'm just trying to figure out are there any people left in christendom that realizes that the kingdom of heaven still suffers violence and the violence take it oh god they take it by force i wish i could get somebody look at your neighbor and ask them are you a taker oh god you always standing on your taker i'm trying to figure out what would you rather do would you rather fight or would you rather run would you rather cry or would you rather dig your heels in and say i didn't stop this but i'm good for it i wish i could find somebody up in here today that realizes that just because i love peace i don't mean that i'm going to sit down and take a whooping like a sucker the devil is a lie ain't no punk in the spirit because i want one in the natural y'all to get quiet can i tell you god is on our side and if you rise to this occasion god is going to show himself strong on your behalf i wish i could find at least 112 of you to clap your hands throw your head back and give god some praise up in here ah yes lord so you got to realize that every now and then we come to the place where we've got to stand up for ourselves we reach that that point well we backed up as far back as we can go and now we are between what is called that proverbial rock and that hard place and when you get to that place you've got a choice to make either i concede and give up ground this this stuff that i worked so hard to get this this caused blood sweat and tears and you just go go go back up and let the devil have it the devil is like and some of you prayed for a child and god gave your child and just because he's acting up you're going to give him up to the will of the enemy it was blood sweat and tears all of those years of praying and seeking god and now you're just going back up and let the devil take everything you got you had to fight to get it and now you just open your hand let the devil take your stuff you got to be stronger than that what god is looking lord i feel like what god is looking for in this hour are people of strength people of character people amen that got that tenacity on the inside that says i'm not going to keep going alone just to get along somebody got to stand up for yourself ah let me hasten the bible says we look at at first kings the 20th chapter it starts out very interestingly because it doesn't tell us the quarrel that ben had has with with with ahab the king of israel but the bible says he comes to to the king of israel and he besieges the city of samaria he's there and the bible said he comes and he besieges it that means that he encounters around it they surround the city they're trying to starve the people out they're trying to weaken them because they're cutting off their supplies and everybody look you can't get out you can't so you've got to deal with the resources that you have but they'll soon run out and you've got a choice then either you're starved to death uh y'all don't get quite either you're starving to death or you fight but you can't eat if you run out of food so you're already weak so what kind of enemy could you really be in warfare if you're starving and you're weak anyway but i want you to notice what ben haddad says to ahab when he gets there he sends his servants and he sends messengers into the city and he says to ahab listen your gold belongs to me your silver belongs to me send your wives because now i'm taking them they belong to me too he must didn't know jezebel was his wife he had probably should have let her go with it the war could have been over just like that he says your children now belong to me and you know what ahab said to broker peace he says yes my king everything i have is yours but i keep telling you you give the devil an inch he'll never be satisfied with the inch so after that was so easy he sends messengers again and he says to ahab i know that i said i wanted to go your silver your wives and your children he said but tomorrow he said about this time this is a good time tomorrow i'm going to send my messengers back into the city and they're going to go from one house into the other house into the next house into the next house he said and whatever they find that's precious they gonna take that too and so ahab says wait a minute i gave him my goal and my silver my wives and my children and now they want everything in the city and so the men of the city come to ahab and they say ahab you cannot agree to this amen because if that's the case then we'll have nothing left he have since word back to ben haddad and he says listen now i can agree for my goal and my silver my wives and my children but now you can't just come in and pillage the whole city and look at what ben her dad says he says i tell you what amen he says if you amen don't bring it out and since you don't want me to have it he says what i'm going to do he picked up a handful of dust he said you see this dust he said all the gods do so to me and more if tomorrow amen when we fight the people that follow me aren't like the dust and you know what ahab said i don't know where ahab got this courage from but ahab says to the king of uh uh of of ben haddad to bini dad he says to him he said listen now you're talking big he said now wait a minute you talk like you taking your sword off you still got to fight this fight oh y'all don't get quiet he have said don't act like you've already won the war you're talking big like we didn't lay down and we're dead he said but now you've got to realize you still gotta fight to win this how god can i tell your brothers and sisters you've got to learn amen that when you compromise with the enemy enough is never enough oh god there are some times when a fight is necessary can i tell your brothers and sisters i keep telling you we're peaceful people but there are sometimes our god when you got to stand up for yourself y'all ain't saying that i'm trying to find somebody amen that's already determined that you're not gonna be a pushover hey man the devil ain't just gonna come in and take it just because he want it if he get this he gonna earn this y'all didn't when i talk to you hey man you hear what i said i said if he get it he gonna earn it because i'm fighting with everything that i have and i'm trying to figure out are there any people left that says it cost me too much to get this oh god and i can't just give up if i open the gates the devil's coming in if i let him ravage me he's gonna take my kids he's gonna get to my nephews he's coming after my sisters and brothers i got to stand up oh god i wish i could talk here and can i tell you it's going to be fine because god is on your side i know we can't high five one another but would you high five yourself and tell yourself i still got god on my side ah i said i got god on my side you got to know that you don't go out looking for trouble but when trouble troubles you it's home but y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you i said if trouble's gonna trouble you then it's own i wish i could get you to look at the present on the left and the right and tell them neighbor the devil won't take no for an answer tell them so it's on how the enemy gets mad can i talk to you because you won't lay down and let it walk all over you and bill and dad declares and i'm gonna bring the thunder and i'm destroying this city but ahab said don't talk while you're preparing for war as if the war is already one in other words don't count your chickens before they hatch you think we're easy people but we got a god or god that's never lost the battle i feel like i want to preach for a while i said we've got a god that's never lost a battle and we can put our faith and our trust in god and you know i read in the book of proverbs the 27th chapter and it starts out at the first verse he said boast not thyself up tomorrow but i know it's not what a day may bring forth and that's what you've got to declare to the enemy don't think that tomorrow you're going to have all of my stuff because all i got to do is get in touch with a god that's never lost a battle can i tell you that's how we were brought up that's how we were raised this generation now has been raised to just lay down and let the devil take you over but you know back in my day everything that they showed us told us we had to fight we didn't all get trophies for just showing up can i talk to you here i said they didn't give us all ribbons first place because we showed up we had to fight we had to give it our all we had to run that race and we're at a point now what people think that they're just supposed to win without a fight but the devil is alive you've got to know today that there are some fights worth fighting and if the devil thinks he's got you you just pull out your secret weapon pop i had spinach but we got the holy ghost and i don't care how we look can i talk to somebody here i'm reminded of superman he looked ordinary and weak but when he went in that phone booth and he came out he came out struck could i preach him but y'all ain't saying nothing they used to have superheroes look at y'all getting quiet they even had heroes for women wonder woman would just start turning around and after a while she was all you is saying nothing i'm trying to tell you you got a god on your side and all you got to do is get a word from the lord look at somebody and tell them neighbor there is a word from the law [Music] a prophet stands up and he says to ahab he says hey how do you you see all of those people look at him look at that army on the hillside look look at all those people he says do you see him he said but don't let that discourage you he says because god said today he's gonna put him in your hand and you're gonna have victory today [Music] and the bible says that ahab asked the lord he said lord who who's going to lead this thing and you know what god said god said choose out the young men of the princes of the people and you wonder sometime why did god said choose the young men it's because those overseas and veterans would have looked out there and saw the enemy and because they knew what they would have said our strategy don't make sense this is how your fight was but when you get young folk they just gung-ho and don't know no better so god said go out there and get you some young people that don't know no better than the run when you say run look at y'all getting quiet and sometimes you know when it comes down to this faith walk some of us know too much we too educated we've had too much experience and it hinders us from believing god we're thinking about what happened last time and this ain't what the book says but you know what god is looking for he's looking for some people that don't know no better than to see a brick wall and if god said just start running they got no better sense than to believe that when i get there the hole is going to be there because he'll make a way out of no way he should get the young folk out and have him to go and scrape up everybody else you can ahab couldn't get nothing but seven thousand people and god said who's gonna lead him i have said who's gonna lead him god said you go can i tell you that when you're a leader when you're a good leader you don't leave from behind you lead i wish i could talk to somebody you lead from the front and they have said all right god let me take the young man give me seven thousand troops and look at king bitter day he's drinking until he gets drunk and they said king there's a small band of people that's coming out of samaria and you know what the king says he says oh listen it don't matter what they coming for just take them alive you ain't got to kill them just just arrest them oh god can i tell you the worst mistake the devil ever made was speaking to underestimate us because we ain't coming to have a conversation we coming to take over i wish i could talk to somebody i said we ain't coming to ask no questions we come in to take over this is not a negotiation this is a takeover ah come to tell somebody the worst mistake you made was trying to negotiate with a terrorist but if you're going you gotta go for broke you gotta go to get it all get your joy get your peace back you got to tell the devil i didn't come to ask no question i came to bring the thunder i came to throw some smoke i'm coming in the name of the bible says that when they got there like my time running out when they got there they started slaughtering people because the devil underestimated them they just start whipping them and just the next thing they know the king hears these people have come out with some kind of fury and he takes off god he kills a host of the syrians and they they start running then the bible says a man of god comes back to ahab and he says to ahab don't think that it's over because he's coming back and can i tell some of you why are you still up in there shouting he's coming back that's why you prepare at all times because he's coming oh you thought you thought the devil was going to leave you alone because you because you testified strong and told everybody you had can i tell you he comes back even the bible says when when an evil spirit it's gone out of a man he walks through dry places seeking rest but if he can't find he'd say i gotta i gotta go back you've got to know that the enemy will come and listen to what they said the bible said that at the turn of the year the servant said the minidad we got to go back and get them they beat us they embarrassed us we got to go and get our dignity back we we've got to go and wrestle victory out of their hands and he said listen we figured out what the problem was yeah the problem was that we fought them in the hills and their gods are the gods of the hills so anybody can win when you're on the mountaintop that that's the kind of that's the god that they share tell god gotta keep them on the mountaintop but if we catch them when they're in the valley we're going to beat them this time because that god can't fight in the valley so the bible said the man of god says to ahab because they declared that your god is the god of the hills but not the god of the valleys god said i'm going to put them in your hands again because everybody gonna know that i i'm the lord [Laughter] oh can i tell you he meant the worst mistake that the devil could have made was to underestimate us but listen he made a worse mistake than that and that was he underestimated our god and this is a quick page at the playbook because he said the same kind of stuff in the book of job do you remember he says to god he says job will serve you because you've blessed him you've elevated him in other words you keep job in a high place but if you bring job down job because you to your face and you know the devil still feels like the only time we can really fight is when we're in the hills or on the mountain now but you've got to realize that our god lord have mercy it's the god of the hills and the god of the valleys i'm looking i got to get out of here i got to hurry up and go home but i'm trying to find out is there anybody that knows that you serve the god on the hills and the valleys can i tell your sons and daughters he's the god of our ups and our doubt ah he's the god of our ups and our doubt and you've got to know that he says to ahab god is going to fight for you again i wish i could get somebody to help me get up out of here look at your name and tell them neighbor my god still fights for me oh yeah i said my god he still fights for me i don't want the devil to think that the only time i'm good is when i'm experiencing joys because the god i serve is not just the god of the heels but he's the god of the valleys he's the gods of my ups and my doubts he's the god of my joys and my sorrows he's the god of my health and my sickness he's the god of my wealth and my poverty look at somebody and tell him he's the god of the hills and he's the god of the valleys and the devil's trying to catch you when you're in your valley place he's trying to get you after you lose your job after your husband walk off and leave you and he's trying to subdue you while he's got you in the valley why you're suffering loss and while your heart is broken he said they had strength on the mountain they felt good in the hills but their god can't fight like that in the valley but i i'm trying to figure out is there anybody here that got a testimony like david had because god is on my side i wish i could get you to point to five people and tell them they're able to lift up your head oh ye and be lifted on y'all [Music] still fights for me i wish i had about 32 980 of you have to lift your hands and thank a great god because god is on your side he's going to give you victory he's going to fight this battle [Music] but just know that we god's gonna get you because when i'm weak that's when i'm strong i learn how to trust in jesus i learn how to trust in god and it doesn't matter where i am it's god on the platform god bless god in the amen it's god all over the floor i wish i could get you to look at three people and tell them he's gone in my heels and in my valleys i'm coming up out of this a thousand [Music] because god is on my side i may be in a low place but i can give him a high praise because he's pulling me up out of my valley look at somebody and kind of neighborhood you got to learn how to give him a high praise from a low place because god in the heavens the praises of his people come [Music] and give god [Music] [Music] look at somebody tell him he'll go down in the valley with you [Music] go down in the valley witch they told me if he had to reach way down see jesus the bible says that aha [Music] started fighting off the syrians [Music] and the victory in the valley was greater than the victory in the hills the worst thing the enemy could do is to corner you y'all don't get quiet you know they when you see little kids that don't know no better playing with cats and that cat get that hump in his back and strike back it up in that corner don't little naive children still coming that get lost leave him alone because once you corner him he ain't got no choice but come out finally i wish i could get somebody look at your neighbor and tell them neighbor you ain't got nowhere else to go you've gone as low as you could your only resource now wait a minute the bible says well my time is gone the bible says that when they started whooping them they took off running and they ran into a city called afic [Music] shut the door i looked it up and this means a stronghold so god whipped them in the hills then god whipped them in the valley but when they ran back to asic they thought they were safe because they were in their city now but the bible said god just pushed over a wall and killed 27 more 27 000 more can i tell you something you got to send your enemies a card and tell them that my god is the god of the heels he's the god of the valleys and he's god wherever you are he'll come into the conference room he'll come into the hospital he'll come into the corner office you ain't safe nowhere when it comes to my god i wish i could get somebody to throw your head back and give god some praise if you know that the devil ain't safe nowhere god can get him wherever he is he can go to the boardroom he can go to the bedroom he can go to the governor's mansion he can go to the center he can go to conference room and corner offices my god is god everywhere and i wish you'd give him the best praise you can give him right now [Music] to think that god is only strong some places but not everywhere is foolish thinking you didn't win because you were healthy and full of joy you won because god was on your side god is the god of the heels but can i tell you he's the god of the valley too and you might be in a valley experience but the enemy will not have victory over you because your god is the god of the valley too you didn't just make it out because you were healthy in your body and had a lot of money that's not why you won it didn't matter why the devil showed up the victory was yours because god was with you that's why the devil tries you just like you tried job take everything he got then let me hit him when he's in the valley but you know we're just like job we learn how to hold on through the valley still believe in god okay and today if you have resigned yourself to die in the valley i feel sorry for you because you know what i found out about the valley if you're in the valley that means you're between two mountains and you have nowhere to go but up i'm gonna fight listen this is just look at somebody tell them this just temporary don't think because i'm in the valley i i lose out hope and i'm full of despair no this is just temporary and the same god that gave me victory on the mountain he's the god that walks in the valley david said if he's with me i'm not going to be scared now if he's with me and i can if if if i got to go through the valley if he's with me i'll fear no evil so it doesn't matter if you got an extra thousand on your check [Music] or if you lost a thousand if god is with you victory belongs to you oh if you're helping your body that's wonderful but if you got a few pains and aches and all if he's with you victory is yours [Music] our god is the god of the heels and the valleys the god of our ups and our towns the god of our joys and our sorrows he's with you and no matter where you find yourself remember he's with you wherever you go whatever phase you're in in life he's with you when you're by yourself because people pass away they die and you're trying to figure out how do i make it what what am i going to do how am i going to get up i'll tell you how you're going to make it the same way you've been making it leaning and depending on the law it was grace that brought you safely this far and it's grace it's grace that's going to lead you all while everyone is standing somebody might be in the valley in the valley of decision you don't know it's worse than you'd ever ever thought it would be when you had resources and you had people and you had friendships and you had connections things were going good but seem like your crutches have been kicked out from under your arms but god is there he's still with you ah their god can only win when they're up but if you catch them when they're down you'll be stronger than they are and victory for you is guaranteed but but we don't depend on ourselves the strength we stand in is not physical strength the strength that we stand in this strength that is rooted and grounded in a god that knows the end from the beginning a god that works at both ends of the spectrum that that's why the devil can't win because it doesn't matter whether you're in the hills or the valley god works at both ends of the spectrum and we see that and that's why the bible said he's alpha and omega he's the beginning and the he's the first and it doesn't matter where you are in between the two the bible said from everlasting to everlasting he's god maybe today there's somebody that needs to be saved what a great time to come to the lord if you don't know god every head bowed in every eye closed if you feel like i'm talking to you that's because i am why don't you step out of that room step into that island make your way to this altar i want to pray with you i want you to come believing god oh come on come on come on i want you to come if you need the baptism of the holy ghost i want you to come matter what ought to happen before you came to this altar god is a god that's able to forgive he's able to set you free and he'll give you a brand new life he'll turn your whole life around if you ask him would you lift your hands now and i want you to talk to god because he's real this is between you and him now ask him lord i'm sorry for everything that i've done that wasn't like you come on ask him lord forgive me for all of my sins god i need power in order to live the life you call me to live so father when you deliver me from myself give me your spirit baptize me with the holy ghost tell him lord when you do it today i'll serve you for the rest of my life come on that's it lift your hands up that's the presence of god that's it father in the name of jesus would you lift your hands this way father as we pray today lay your hands on each and every one of them i thank you yes god i thank you thank you for your power we bind the hands of the enemy now we curse god every attack every plant every seed that he's planted in the mind break the shackles loose them now god to believe you send your holy ghost and don't let them be the same again and we thank you for it in the name your presence even now work a miracle where it's needed and we give you praise we give you the glory we give you the honor in the name of jesus and father all of our young people lift your hands father i thank you for these our young people i pray god that even now that you would begin to touch them as they endeavor to go into another school year so much uncertainty so much that they don't know father the anxiety of this hour we rebuke it now i pray that you would lay your hands on each and every one father whatever they need granted by your power god and parents that now have to be teachers and tutors father i pray your strength of their mind give them understanding oh father give them peace in their hearts and i thank you for it father i pray that you would keep our young people safe keep them from the will of the enemy we rebuke every hindering thing that would come against us and this school year hold their minds together [Music] oh god be strong for us and we thank you for it now keep them safe in the center of your will father cover their minds in the blood of jesus christ so that all the wickedness that's trying to be pushed on them through education father we curse it now don't let that take root everything that would challenge them in obedience to your word and faith in what you have said we crush it now the name of jesus root up every seed that's been sown water the seeds of righteousness father and use them for your glory and your honor and we thank you for it in jesus name somebody lift those hands and give god some praise right where you're
