i nobody nobody i keep running up up myself with his glory is is when i ask you a question what did you say is stop running can i tell you my testimony up i kept his word up me my testimony protected me cause i'm with you [Music] is oh [Music] he's god [Music] [Music] oh yeah my god come on lift those hands short heaven and let's give god some praise up in here ah come on we can do better than that this is the day that the lord has made we shall rejoice and be glad i was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the lord and look to your neighbor and say out of all the things i've been through come on said i committed and say out of all the things i've been through see i still got my joy i still got my joy still got my peace evo still got my happiness because the joy of your heads let's pray this morning no gracious and kind father in heaven lord we want to thank you for your goodness in your mercy toward us lord we want to thank you because you're good all the time and all the time you are good god we didn't come just to get a blessing but we came to bless you we're going to bless you at all evil we're going to bless you all time in your praises shall continually be in our mouth lord we want to thank you for your faithfulness great is your faithfulness and it is new every morning lord we want to thank you for how you watched over us last night you kept us from the will of our enemy we thank you for waking us up this morning clothed in our right mind yet with a mind and a determined mind to serve thee lord we want to be thank you for saving the sanctifying us and baptizing us with the holy ghost that's keeping us right now lord we want to thank you for the blood of jesus christ now father as we put our hands together this morning for leadership in the person of our leaders the apostle hermannel mary and lady danielle lori thank you for them today we want to thank you for the saints of god now father we pray that you would smile on us this morning we just feel like we owe you a praise i'm gonna say it again we feel like we owe you a praise because you've just been that good to us god yeah you've been just that good to us now save today sing your word send it with power and send it with authority save and fill with the holy ghost and meet the needs of your people and father we be so very careful to give you all the praise glory and honor in jesus name we pray now come on and give jesus some praise up in this house how many of you feel like praising the lord today oh don't play with me now i'm gonna ask you that again you're above ground may not have everything you want but you got everything you need the bible said he shall supply all our knees according to his riches and glory now how did he gonna give jesus some let's get to our morning scripture this morning that's in the book of psalms 107 watching musicians i feel like i may wanna i heard hillary patrick mary say feel like i don't have some weight in my feet my freedom got lightened my soul's happy emo y'all better watch it i feel good up in here this praise seemed unsung my soul happy up in here but when i think of the goodness of jesus i ain't got to think about everything people come on protocol let me get up in here psalms 107. the psalmist david said and as a custom it is him in our lead out we will alternate and then we will end the verse of scripture all together david said it like this oh give thanks unto the lord for he is good he's good all the time saints and all the time god is good for his mercy and do it forever congregation at bethlehem pentecostal church and that address is 1826 baker street dallas texas and again that is november the 25th in west dallas at the bethlehem pentecostal church all right we're also being in we're also on purpose is the gwendolyn owens in the passing of her grandson baby portland isaiah brown it will be a gravesite service on tuesday at 2 p.m at the holy redeemer memorial park visitation is tuesday the same day from 10 to 1 pm at the evergreen memorial funeral home and for the benefit of our guests we have multiple services during the week and they are as follows on sunday morning of course we start service here at 11 a.m the gates open at 9 30. sunday school is held in the main sanctuary only at 10 a.m sunday saturday and tuesday night services will begin at 7 30 p.m with the gates opening at 6 30 p.m prayer service is tuesday and saturday at 7 00 pm and of course we are abiding by the cdc guidelines and we are practicing social discipline distancing and masks are strongly encouraged the water fountains are disconnected of course and we're just asking and you're coming and you're going let's be mindful of large gatherings let's be safe let's plan the curve amen this clothes you have is a garment of praise i don't care if i have a hospital gown on i'm still going to praise god because the grave can't pray they never shut a young deal shall you god i feel a praise working in the house look at somebody tell if i came to praise and i came to magnify him i came to tell him how much i love him i can't remind the devil that out of all the things i've been through i still got joy still gotta pray still got a thankful heart still got a hallelujah still got the lord i love you still i won't turn my back on you somebody open your mouth and give that away oh my god be the people that he's calling us to be in this last day hour and i want you to know today that jesus is coming soon amen he's coming for a ready church amen the bible didn't say he was going to start one when he get here he's coming to receive unto himself a glorious church got to be glorious when he get here without spot wrinkle or any such blemish but that it should be holy amen that's the kind of church he's coming from amen a holiness church that ain't denomination amen that standard god is coming amen for a church that believes that holiness is still right i want to take some time to honor the lord for our first lady would you clap those hands thank god for her and thank god for this wonderful host of ministry i thank god for those that are joining us amen that are not here in the sanctuary those that are members of our cyber membership we thank god for them amen thank god for those that are hearing us amen live on the radio during our service time here on sunday morning god is faithful amen and i tell you there is a word from the lord if you believe it look at somebody and tell them neighbor there is a word from the lord amen and i am a lover of the word of god i love mine today you got yours come on hold that power up thank god because everything else is going down but the word of our god amen amen if you were here last night we had a great time in his presence amen and i believe god's going to speak to us today can i take my time and talk to you amen i want you to hear what i'm saying today with amen as much clarity as i can give and as you can take amen i want to talk to you out of the pages of the word of god the book of proverbs amen the 22nd chapter and i want amen to call your attention to the 28th verse amen just amen one verse of scripture in your hearing amen that's proverbs 22 and verse number 28 amen amen and when you have it say man the bible gives us this intelligence remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have set i'll say it again remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have said i think we need to read that together you you can read can't you all right let's read this together remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have set now look at somebody and tell them neighbors somebody moved the landmark we got some disobedient children because because somebody doesn't move the landmark in their mind anyway amen i i think about about what we are seeing now i i think about the fact that the generals are going home what we are seeing now is the passing of the baton to a new generation those that have run successfully their leg of the race has now transferred the baton to us and they have stepped off the track it's our time now to run our leg of the race and to finish strong i don't want my leg to be the weak leg i i i don't want that for for people a man to run so so successfully and give me advantage when they hand it to me and then i fumble lose the lead and mess up the entire team by not truly dealing with my leg of the race with the diligence and the seriousness that it requires but then i look and i'm kind of troubled because it seems like those that should be running this race seriously now i'm being distracted by the crowd that's looking home you know when you when when you when you're serious you you gotta you gotta put blinders on i heard somebody say not long ago hey man that that way you're not spooked you're not intrigued you're you're not distracted by what's going on around you but your focus is single the bible calls it singleness of i you you've got to have your eye focused amen and you cannot be distracted and sadly we are at a point now when it seems like when the generals are going home those that are coming behind are not willing to stay true to that original mandate jude said i thought it need for to write unto you and to tell you that you should earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered unto the sons and daughters we have a responsibility in this hour to maintain amen our hold on that original doctrine that original mandate that god has given to the church but when i look at what's happening now amen it's almost as if we've forgotten amen that we are just a part of a larger picture we have a responsibility a man to build on the foundation that's already been laid and sadly amen sons and daughters amen that seriousness that is required amen when you're going to build something so massive and so spectacular amen it's not there anymore and i'm trying to figure out now amen do we really think that god does not mean what he says do we really think that god got to 2020 and decided to take a left turn we've got to know that he's still the same god and i can't quite y'all get i'm gonna preach today he's still the same god he does not change in spite of what people are trying to get us to see amen and understand god it's a god that does not change and the sooner we come to terms with that the sooner we can line up amen with the fact that god is still a holy god and he still requires holiness of those of us his people and i'm looking at it now he meant you know the bible said no man that wareth and tingling himself with the affairs of this life amen but he rather amen has got to run to please him who has called him to be a soldier brothers and sisters our highest aim in this world should be to please the one that has called us amen to be a soldier our highest goal amen is not to be accepted it is not to be like y'all don't got quiet even it is not to receive the accolades of the world but our highest goal in this life amen should be to live in such a way that when it's our time to pass the we can do so knowing that when we stand before god we will hear god say well done you've got to realize amen that we have gotten tangled up oh god the bible says we shouldn't do it but a whole lot of folk now are tangled up and they're taken up to such a degree that the church is not being the church because the church is busy amen trying to be everything else that god has not called us to be y'all can get quiet i'm gonna talk to you amen whether you like it or not you've got to realize he meant he didn't call us to be anything but the church he didn't call us to be anything but a holy and in spite of what we see going on in our world sons and daughters it is still for us as the people of god to stand firm from the foundation that has already been laid you know what i'm afraid of sons and daughters i am afraid that what we're looking at in this hour as a test for our nation i just it really could be a test for the church are y'all in that cried what if this is not a test amen of the nation we're looking at what's going on now oh are we going left or are we going right this is a defining moment and we can see that but what if god is using this hour as a test for the people of god to see if there's any amen who would call upon his name to see if there are any people left amen that will believe the word of god can i tell you we have gotten so off track amen that we are looking at people amen and judging the saints because they differ from us you know something ain't right when you can go and hang out with backsliders amen and you feel comfortable but you can't hang out with the saints because they didn't vote the same way you voted come on now we don't got stuck on stupid and god is trying to get us to rise to this occasion and be the church that he's calling for us to be and i know some of you may get mad i don't care he meant i'm trying to tell you he meant somebody have moved the landmark amen we can go eat with folk amen that smell like weed and we ain't got a problem but the saints can't even our yard and got quiet we unfriending folks that's what you call pain going out what if what if what we're looking at as a test of our nation is really a test for the people of god to see if in this hour in such an hour as this where we stay true to the call that god has placed upon us you know when i read matthew 26 and 56 amen i said it before the bible says then all the disciples forsook him and fled now but when he needed the most the bible said the disciples walked away they left him there he went look at him standing there by himself and you know what we talk about peter we talk about james and john but i'm trying to figure out why in 2020 are his disciples still abandoning him while the disciples amen are walking away from the lord you know what i found out he meant i found out it's not easy to stand for it but somebody's got to do it can i tell your brothers and sisters amen this is the hour amen when we got to determine amen that we will be the people that stand up for him even those that are not afraid to tell the world that i still believe what he said i still believe that right is right y'all don't get quiet because what we're in now is a season that has gotten us conveniently compromising oh god can i talk to somebody here he meant we are battled by the convenience of compromise because we're finding it it's increasingly difficult to stand up and say i believe in god you know you never thought you see a nation like this one now that has been so blessed but it looks as if we're taking a turn now amen we're taking such a hard turn that it's coming to the place now where for you to stand up and say i believe in god and i believe in his word it's going to take them an amount of courage that you just don't see everywhere we are at that point sons and daughters even when the people of god have got to rise to this occasion it's time now amen for us to stand up and throw caution to the wind and say i am upon apologetically sanctified i am unashamedly holy is there anybody here amen that can testify that even in a generation like this when they talk about you what they hate you when they'll scandalize your name when they'll fire off your job that you can still stand up and say i believe what he said i believe that right is still right now i believe that holiness is still the order of the day and i don't care what a court says i don't care what an administration says holiness is still right and before i co-sign sin i'll sit in a jail cell what y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you if they tell me it's against the law to preach against homosexuality then i just broke the law are y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you we need some folk that got some goods in this hour we testify and strong in front of one another but can't be strong in front of the world the devil is a liar look at somebody and tell a neighbor i still believe that a holiness is still right [Music] [Applause] it's not easy to stand but somebody has to the church can't change administrations change the court makeup changes but the trash has got to stay strong who's brave enough now to declare that god does not change are there are there are there any churches left that are bold enough to declare that god does not change because what we're seeing now we are seeing a man compromise right in front of our eyes and the reality of the matter is is that god can't be with that because amen if it's not holy and if it's not making us more holy like him then god ain't got nothing to do with it i'm sorry to tell you you can have a hundred thousand members amen you could have written 75 bestsellers in one year amen and if it's not bringing people to the place of becoming more holy and more like god god ain't in it we've got to learn to stop can't counting this godliness and saying that they must be right because they got a whole lot of hope can i tell you the downward road is crowded with unbelieving souls ah but the bible said straight and narrow is that way and few there be that are going to find it cannot tell your sons and daughters you may not have a million friends going to heaven with you you may not have a thousand family members that are going to heaven with you but god needs somebody that's willing to stand up and tell god i'm going all the way if i gotta go by myself if mama don't go i mean you got to go on with god if your friends don't go you got to have a maid of mine and i don't care what the flavor of the hour is you got to stick with the word of god he said heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall stand forever he said in first peter 1 and 16 do ye hold it for i come holy he's still holy and since since holiness is not just the standard he requires for his people because it's also one of his own personal attributes that means holiness has got to be as unchangeable and as unchanging as god himself if he is holy then we cannot redefine what holiness is because he is holy and if he don't change then holiness can't change well y'all don't get quiet on sunday morning can i tell you something amen he says in leviticus 27 he said you gotta sanctify yourself therefore and be holy for i am the lord your god did you hear what he said he said sanctify yourself oh i wish i could find about three of you never look at somebody tell them sanctify yourself see we had that place and our brothers and sisters when folk don't want to be sanctified or they don't want to talk about this that's the reason why they call them them sanctified church can i tell you something happy church want to be a sanctified church trying to be a holy church because the bible said holiness without which no man shall see the lord can i tell you something you can be about this but if you ain't holy you ain't gonna see him you can be mad to this but if you ain't holy you will not see the lord you can be church of god in christ but if you ain't holy you will not see the lord can i tell you you can be full god's beholding temple and if you ain't holy you will not see god it ain't got nothing to do with the church that you go to something like the name of your church is wait with god can i tell you something it's not about the name on the outside it's about the spirit on the inside are you always saying nothing here i'm [Applause] [Music] we acting like we got a deed to god and can't even see that in a whole lot of places that operate with that level of arrogance they can't even see that hey not where they used to be boy y'all don't get quiet now you got folk bragging about what happened 100 years ago can i talk to somebody i can't even see the mess going on right now you ain't got nothing to brag about y'all you've got the sad memories of the way things used to be but i don't want to be where god was i want to be where god is and if he's still a holy god then his people still got to be holy people now don't realize i look the the word landmark up it's an anatomical structure used at a as a point of orientation and locating other structures ah but then there's another definition of a landmark and it is an object or a feature of a landscape a town that is easily seen and recognized from a distance can i tell you brothers and sisters amen when you hang with the landmark you yourself ought to be a landmark to this world the world ought to be able to look at you from a distance are you always saying nothing you'll not have to be your best friend to know you a child of god you ought to be able to work on your job and know that you holy are y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you got to be able not to say a word to you but watch you from across the room and know that there's something different about your life and that's the way it used to be you can tell a saint of god whether they were in the grocery store whether they were walking down the street whether they were at work or y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you but somebody didn't move the landmark now people can't recognize who you are you got to tell them i go to church you got to tell them i'm saved and if the only conversation you have it is with your lips then you ain't having that conversation with your life and i'm sick of folk whose lips have been divorced from their lifestyle but they're still trying to prove to everybody that they're still holy and they're still walking up right with god the devil is a liar if you go back to that old stuff you used to do then you ain't holding no more and then what paul said if i build again the things i tore down i make myself a transgressor stop looking at everybody else thinking that they judging you you judged yourself as a transgressor the moment you left the landmark and tried it to do it your own way can i tell you brothers and sisters god don't loosen up well i know some of you said see i started to go to the church down the street it ain't too late god god god don't loosen up and this is honey this is 20 20. god god a concern about that stuff at what point did god's concern change see see we've been lied to and told that now because times have changed that the change in the times have affected god but the bible said our times are in his head how can he be affected by times when times are in his hand god look at somebody tell them god don't change opinions change people change fashions change trends change but god remains the same oh no he he don't he he don't loosen up if if anything he tightens up y'all don't get quiet enough that's the reason why amen the bible said acts when in 1730 and at the time of this weakness god winged the time of that ignorance amen he winked at it but now he's commanding men everywhere to repent can i tell you god don't loosen up god because we are not under law we're under grace i'm glad you brought that up because i was reading about that today you know what grace is grace is helped to do what you couldn't do and just under the law amen this is why god don't give you no pass and can i tell you for those of us bragging about grace grace is a whole lot rougher than the laws because under the law you have to be caught in the bed with somebody amen are you always saying nothing but you know what grace says grace said if you look upon a woman to lust after her you have committed adultery already in your heart i'm trying to tell you grace though shall we continue in sin that grace may abound god forbid how shall we that are dead to sin live any longer can i tell you when you're under grace grace gives you help and that's why god ain't accepting excuses because christ died grace and truth came back jesus christ and if he died for us then tell me again how grace is going to give us a license to be who we were before he died the devil is alive can i tell you something because he did rise again we're not only sanctified but we're justified so that if any man be in christ he is now a new creature those old sacrifices could only cover your sin but for this purpose was the son of god manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil stop telling me you're saved and you're still sucking cigarettes stop telling me you're saved and you're still gay stop telling me you're saved and you're still alive the devil is alive you've got to be holy [Applause] when you're saved you don't do that stuff you used to do [Applause] when you say you don't steal no more when you sigh you don't cut spoke out boy y'all didn't get quiet cause they told you you can speak in tongues and still cuss a little the bible said to whom you yield your members as instruments that's whose servant boy y'all don't get quiet that's whose servant see this that's why they don't they don't like that that's whose servant you are and i told you the other day ain't no such thing as a save sinner because jesus said no man can serve to masters and the bible said to whom you yield your members instruments that's whose servant or slave you are so if sin is a master and you can't serve two masters then don't tell me you can be saved and still be a sinner too oh look look at geneva and tell them somebody moved the landmark folks look at this now as strange teaching and this is the way the church used to teach it they used to believe it but now this stuff is strange because somebody moved that landmark now we can do anything and be safe at least that's what they're telling us i mean people don't believe the bible why why why why do we even why do we even carry this thing around why are we still reading this if we can pick and choose which part of it we want to live by then why do we even still hold this why don't we just throw all of it away and then every man can do that which is right in his own eyes i'll tell you why because we know this is still right we know ain't nobody we know this is still right yes we do it's just parts of it that we just don't prefer but you know this bible is right we were talking about it yesterday man my aunts were sitting down talking we were talking about how all of us got a whole bunch of bibles old bibles new bibles and we figured out why because i don't know nobody that can throw a bible in the trash it's tore all up you can't find matthew but you still got that bible because some men you won't let you throw that bible in the trash why are you knowing something to me oh that's just a book like every other book then why you got 10 of them can i talk to you you know it's something special about this and i don't care if every chapter of every book is called except the last chapter you respect the last chapter and you won't even throw it away you know why because you know every word of god is right and you don't want to get rid of none of it you just want to change some of it to fit what you want to do look at somebody tell them somebody move that landmark i'm trying to trying to understand how did we come to the place that holiness was redefined now what was holy years ago and holy now it ain't holy and people don't see apostles used to tell us all the time if the devil can't stop you short he'll push your past and that's what will happen if he can't stop you short he'll push you past it and people used to tell us that none of that was right now they're telling us it's right but we go too far how just had somebody told me once they they said uh uh somebody let them know that when y'all die y'all gonna go past heaven and have to turn around and come back at least they know we going because i got questions see and when you start talking like this because there's been a new wave that came through and people believed that now they look at at you like you weird because the times haven't changed you the wind started blowing and it blew them all the way over here and when they looked around you were still where you always been and you know what they what they say to justify why they moved honey you just stuck next time they tell you you're stuck tell them no i'm stable that's the difference i'm not stuck i'm stable i don't have to be moved by every new wind and every new trend that's blowing through the church world can i tell you when you're satisfied you don't run after everything lord y'all don't get quiet i'm saying when you know you got the real thing i don't care what kind of hips and chest and shoulders walk by you don't pay that no attention because you got everything you need and i'm telling you now the devil can front wealth he can flunk popularity he can flaunt notoriety but we ain't got to move because we already know that we're strengthened and we're settled on the solid foundation of the word of god i'm trying to tell you we can move this landmark [Applause] because we didn't start this this was handed to us we can't can't try to mold it and make it what we want it to be we didn't start the church the generals that were here before us they fought they labored and then before they left they handed this this church to us laid down and went home to be with the lord and here we are standing with something that they shed their blood they're sweating their tears hope and now for the convenience of compromise we wanted to take this thing that cost so many their lives and handle it with such a naivety that now it means absolutely nothing the devil amen has lied to us we've got to stay true we've got to stay firm and can i tell you something at the end of your days the one thing you want to be able to tell god is that i finished with what i started with i'm looking through the building today trying to find somebody that want to finish with what you started with so we see that it's god who determines what is holy that's the euthyphro question is it holy because god likes it or does he like it because it's holy it's holy because that's what god has determined it to be there's nothing holy outside of god so he didn't find holiness and like it he is holy and everything and everybody that's associated with god got to be holy he's looking for holy people that have a walk that's holy that have a holy conversation that looks up boy y'all done got quiet see see we have uh and because he determines what holy is he sets the boundary he sets the landmark and then he says to us don't move it but we moved it this generation has sought to redefine the boundaries and so what they've done is that they moved it what was holy used to be within this boundary but they just picked the landmark up and moved it over here so that now holy includes all the stuff they didn't want to give up and and because you you can you can pay people to tell you anything they'll tell you that that that's the landmark we found out see the whole folk they can hardly read and they had a fourth grade education and they never went to college and so they preached and when they preached they said this and they said that but we found out because honey i went and got my certification in greek and pig latin and and all this and so i understand it in a way that they didn't understand it 50 years ago oh can i tell you you may understand the letter but they understood the spirit and they had some on the inside of him that when they got too close to the edge lord them alarms went off are you always saying nothing here honey they were so dry look at them back then they didn't wear this they did not get so sick of folk trying to talk about what they've been wearing back then can i tell you something you can say what you want to say honey they got tripped up in them skirts they couldn't even shout right because they skirts were so long they just had to sit there and just jump up and down and they couldn't do much enough oh but can i tell you something about them long skirt wearing amen great you always say nothing i can tell you this they lay hands on you and your knees would buckle lord can i talk to you they get up and preach and they will preach you out of your seat and when you come to yourself you'll be standing at the old time can i tell you something about them they lay hands on you and curse that tumor and tell you to spit it up why you can talk about the way they look but you can't say that they didn't have power can i tell you we're at a point now where we're looking crazy because we want to be accepted by everybody else but we ain't got no power so we gotta hang claps we got likes but we don't have the anointing that makes the difference look at us don't even look like we belong to god used to be a time you couldn't get a holy woman to put on anything lord now you can be this new holiday showing your inner thigh boy y'all getting quiet now you can be holy and showing all that cleavage used to be folk respecting themselves and they wouldn't present themselves any kind of way it used to be young men y'all don't got quiet they were holy you compel them like you see pictures of little boys going to church even back in the 60s these little boys had those suits these little kids had on ties but you looked at them now coming at you can i tell you something even in 2020 i believe there's still a sacred garment when you come to the house of god folk used to present themselves in a manner that they wanted the world to see and glorify god look used to walk up to him in the grocery store and said i don't know you but you look like you can get a prayer through can you you you go to somebody's church i i i got children that's not saved can you just put me on the practice my name is anna and if you just put me on the prayer list i'd appreciate it and then they'd woke up but now because you're showing everything god ain't on a mind hey mom and here you are you ain't getting your book out to put them on your private list you taking your phone out and handing it to them so they can put their number in there lord y'all don't got quad used to be the saints didn't do that kind of stuff if you wouldn't save if you wouldn't hold it can i just talk to you what we gonna talk about you used to be a time you were holding you didn't waste your time trying to make a relationship work with somebody who wasn't even saved but now you got folk divorcing their wives right up in church and going and marrying somebody else and even say can i talk to somebody here and then think you're gonna stand before god and say we are delivered to do these things the devil is alive and can i tell you something some of you messing up because you don't move the landmark you're trying not to make stuff work honey i just feel like we're not compatible we just can't stay together all right you got to make this thing work can i tell you something amen we feel like god wants us to be happy now god wants you to be faithful to your vow cannot talk to somebody here and if you ain't happy then obviously they happy evil so what are you doing to change the situation used to be a time we preach that god hates to put him away now folks just divorce it they just going off honey don't worry about it don't worry about it i know some of you need to do better because you don't even realize that if you get sick in a couple of years and you just might the same woman you dogging out today going to be the only one left to clean you up [Applause] so now it's to him and let everybody that name the name of god let them depart from iniquity this is why the devil is confused in the world because they hear and holy come out the mouth but they're not seeing holy in the life that people are living somebody moved the landmark now they trying to convince us that right is wrong they trying to convince us now that stuff that that people preached about and that drew people away from god now it's okay oh you can drink now the sin is is it's getting drunk you show me somebody that's ever drunk but they never got drunk or drinking ain't a sin is just the sin is getting drunk show me somebody show me somebody that's ever had a relationship with liquor and they never got drunk but y'all don't get quiet today see it it used to be a time when we saw where the landmark was we didn't want to get close to it so we stayed all the way back here and we understood that don't get close to that but you know what people are doing now everybody want to get as close to the line as we can to see how close we can get without actually actually going over is this a sin is that a sin show me where that's saying we're trying to get as close to the line as we can without you always saying that but sooner or later you're going to get so close all the devil got to do is send a strong wind and he gonna blow you right on across the line i'm trying to tell you if you know where sin is abstain from the very appearance of it stay away from sin lord y'all looking like y'all want me to shut up we we we're at that at that point now should i quit all right you got to know about turn the page just hold another page we we can't preach a new gospel the bible said there can no foundation be late than the one that's already been laid we don't we can't lay a new foundation that's why that's that's the reason why jeremiah says in 6 and 16 stand ye in the ways and see and ask for the old path wherein is the good way inside of the old path there is a good way lord y'all y'all don't get caught in in inside of those all packs there is there is a good way and the high way shall be there and and and it shall be called the war y'all don't got quiet here it shall be called the way painkiller jesus said i i am the way i'm trying to you ain't got a whole lot of ways to get to it jesus said i am the way i'm the truth that i am the light you've got to know today brothers and sisters you've got to follow the word of god you've got to follow the standard of god it doesn't matter what's going on now there's still a way just one and you find that way in those old paths this new stuff ain't strong enough to keep nobody look good but ain't nothing to it there ain't nothing to that we talk about all this advancement and the stuff we got now don't do half of what stuff used to do back in the day well y'all don't got got all these phones in your pocket keep dropping calls them old phones used to ring you could talk all day they found a never hanger keep talking about your technology that food they used to cook back in the day the folk used to cook around three o'clock you get home they're at five the food's still hot i don't know what kind of stuff they cooking now they got every burn on the stove going and you walking out don't even smell food now wait a minute what is this plastic mess you you walk in don't eat smell food you spend time i don't care how you blew on that food you weren't gonna cool that out now you blow three times you gotta take it back over that to the microwave lord i guess two is the limit oh god much advance let me stop cause y'all it doesn't matter how much advancement when you really consider it the old way was better [Applause] you can't just move it and convince me that now where you are is where god is denounces christianity or preacher of mega church in in in in timbuktu comes out and says he no longer believes in god or the bible as the infallible word of god and they'll put you out there and celebrate you and you don't even understand that if you're ashamed of me before men god said i'll be ashamed of you before my father and the holy angels a whole lot of folk are going to stand before god and god's going to ask him now tell me again who you don't believe in i'm marvel that you're so soon removed from him unto another gospel and then paul says there is no other gospel but even if i and see this is what i love about real preachers because real preachers don't excuse themselves see see these preachers now tell you to do as i do as i say but not as i do but a real preacher is going to tell you just like paul told you even if i come preaching something else if i lose my marbles and come in here and tell you something that don't coincide with the scripture ignore what i say stick with the word of god paul said only follow me as i follow christ if i stop following christ you stop following me you go on with god there is no other gospel somebody is trying to move this landmark but you know what i'm encouraged by encouraged by the fact that god knows how to survey the scene when you when when you're buying land you call call a surveyor out you know what he does it doesn't matter cause sometimes your neighbor might have put his fence about five feet over your yard trying to claim some of your territory you don't have to folk all that they'll get away whatever you let that's it don't worry about it i'll call in the surveyor and and and and what he gonna do he gonna go look at the record y'all don't get quiet i said he's gonna go look at the record and whatever the record says he gonna show you where the pound everyone i don't care if the preacher told you it was here the great surveyor is gonna look at the record and he's gonna tell you you were lied to but you ain't got no excuse cause you had a bible you could have read for yourself keep believing these lies you're going to end up in hell keep letting people tell you that god don't mean what he said you are going to go to hell the bible said the wicked shall be turned and everyone that forgets the lord you better remember that this word is settled in heaven you can't change this you know what i found out i found out a little heaven 11 is the whole lung once you start compromising then you watch what happens y'all don't get quiet i'm trying to tell you what i know i've seen whole churches called denominations start compromising and look at what they got now you know what starts to happen once you start opening the floodgates and letting people do a little of this and a little of that then you're gonna have to deal with other folks who's standing around saying that ain't fair you let them do that but i don't want to do that i want to do this and how can you tell me i can't do this when you let them do that and now you got to please the people [Music] oh but if i stand firm on this foundation right here i'm telling you i ain't begging nobody to be a member before gospel holy temple because ain't nobody begged me to be one if you're gonna be a member for the gospel of the temple you're gonna live right you go act right you're gonna adhere to the word of god i'm not gonna make excuses for you because then nobody make them for me when i came in here they told me i had to be holy but y'all hearing what i'm trying to tell you and i'm telling you the same thing if you think i'm gonna beg you for your time and for your offering and i'm gonna shy away from preaching the truth because i'm scared of what you ain't gonna give the devil amen i'm trying to tell you god will allow somebody in another state that i don't even know about to send me something close your hand if you won't amen i don't operate on that kind of money i believe god's got enough people that believe that holiness is still right that are gonna love the word they're gonna stand for the truth and they're going to support it because they know it's god i'm not trying to carry favor i don't come to none of your house you don't come to mind so we ain't got to try to be best friends and i ain't got to try amen to shook away from my responsibility to the world because i don't want to lose you as a friend let me tell you something i'm not worried about friends i'm worried about brothers and sisters and jesus said who are my brothers who are my sisters i'll tell you it's those that do the will of my father thing oh i'm telling you i'm thinking about leaving you ain't never thought about nothing that hard i'm not gonna change what i please cause you thinking about it even it's our time now to run this leg of the race and we gotta hold up our leg we can't we can't be weak after we've been handed out such great advantage i mean look at the dignity by which these people handed and they would turn off to this generation look at them now these these generals are going home it's almost like i was talking to a pastor friend of mine this week it's almost like they know something is coming and they'd rather not be here to see it i tried to figure out lord why couldn't i have passed it back in the 1920s and why did i have to my bishop kind of said come out on the wheel of time such a hard-hearted and stiff naked generation but this is what we got so that's what we're gonna have to work with you know what i know i know god gave us enough strength to get this done every generation had its challenges and they rose to it it wasn't easy to preach holiness in the hippie generation y'all ain't saying that and it ain't easy to preach holiness in this generation but somebody got to do it i want you to stand to your feet give god the best praise you could give him on a sunday [Music] morning [Music] don't move that landmark don't move it [Music] people can make you comfortable by telling you this is okay and he's really not thinking about that anymore [Music] but the mind of god is spelled out in this right here who can reveal the mind of god who can tell you something about god that god didn't already reveal himself this is the complete revelation of who he is god who at sundry times and in diverse manners speak unto us by the mouth of the prophets hath in these last day hours spoken unto us by his son when his son gets through saying what he got to say ain't nobody else got nothing to say that's why there's no more scripture being written who's going who's going to come behind the sun and reveal the father to us it didn't happen like that and people can make you comfortable by telling you they know the mind of god [Music] but if what they're saying does not coincide with what is already written paul said let it be a curse somebody's trying to move the landmark but jesus said man shall not live by bread alone but we live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of god man says it's okay god says it's sin man says god is not concerned with that anymore god says i change not man said there's a new way god said there's nothing new under the sun somebody's trying to move this landmark but in these last and final and closing hours of time is still calling out a people [Music] he's still molding for himself a people salience of good works willing to be salt and light and a wicked and a perverse generation [Music] people that forget about saving themselves and their own lives but a willing rather to lay their lives down for the sake of the gospel well if y'all keep preaching like that ain't nobody gonna invite y'all nowhere well we're not just looking for places to preach [Music] and for the ones that don't want to receive it that's them but jesus said my sheep know my voice jesus started preaching one day he got so rough the disciples said listen lord who can bear this stuff if you keep preaching like this you ain't gonna have nobody but people kept coming if his sheep knew his voice that means the only ones that would come with his sheep and i'm telling you if i'm a shepherd and this gospel and what you want to hear and you run away at my voice that means that you're not my sheep i'm not worried about that because everyone that will hear the word going to respond to the preaching of the truth every head bowed every eye closed there's somebody else that's here you need to be saved you need to be filled with the holy ghost that's you i want you to come god is calling you to live a life of holiness come on come on we offer him to you somebody else needs to come come and walk that aisle you can make it to this altar [Music] hallelujah hallelujah he's faithful he's just to forgive you come on you're in the risers
