good morning guys welcome back to the vlog and welcome back to another beautiful day here in papua new guinea we're just going to be doing a really quick 10 minute flight from this random bush location just over top of those mountains down the other side so we're around three hundred feet right now we'll go up to around nine or ten thousand something like that and then back down to around four thousand so enjoy this quick little hop [Applause] [Music] all right i'm just getting my itt down below 200 before i introduce my fuel energy is over 14 percent itt's coming out just because it's the engine's pretty hot so 6 45. all right like i said we're out here at random bush location and we'll just be heading over top of those mountains on a 10-minute flight to manyamya what is our weight today 184 kgs 184. you already got the weight in here yeah what's up so your aircraft weights 58 30 pounds and your uh rotations be only 56 and your approach speed 66 okay you got that in there already has a our vref i'm going to go ahead and actually the top so my fuel is not going from one tank to the other i might make my calls um to moresby i do that while i do my checklist b moore's b november tango echo 6622 taxi all the kids are running to the top behind us so that they can get blasted by the problem echo is taxiing for manyamya for pov so at these bush locations all the kids will run up and stand behind the air when we do our full power take off it's slippery on us you get just blasted with the problem well if you want to do it forever get ahold of them yes complete great have you done our call first uh the area call not okay i'll stage one choose our decimal seven november tango echo taxing four minion not above nine thousand all right field caps and selectors are done controls earntaw is off we've already got our system set up everything's in the green t's and p's which isn't instruments we're all set flaps are set at 20. i'll check those in a minute we're going to go ahead and set up our trim pull right right full right rudder trim or right right right right all right if we are not 35 knots by now let's go with the dude with the big belly 35 knots by him otherwise we will reverse heavy braking flaps up cut off pull off shut up we'll go straight ahead for now if we do have to go off for any reason i will go off way to the left because there's more oh no that's the next hill out i'll go to the right probably because right at the windsock it goes down drops off and there's a big bunch of brush right there all right after takeoff pitch for 85 consider epl considered feather right hand turn to lower terrain v5 with 20 degrees of flaps 80 full flaps you can make my mayday calls we'll crack our door safe braces these guys and tighten our belts all right flaps are done trim is done the board is done ignition light are done it's 23 degrees or 5 300. um 5 000 let's go to 25 13 80 13 30 13 80. hey ignition condition flaps fuel and harnesses you got about a two knot across from the right take 56 13 30. all right there we go continuing there's a rotate 56. my plan is just to head up here to the left step over top of these mountains and then just head right back down around kind of the low route going down all right now that we are airborne i'm just going to increase my to 85. i'm not that concerned about climbing out at 73 knots our best angle just because i know we're light and we have no issues with climbing today i'm just gonna get my flaps up and then start climbing out at best rate of 99 knots all right there's no other planes out here so i'm just going to go ahead and start cleaning up a bit bypass back to normal ignition is off landing lights are off three degrees of flaps climb out at 99 and bring our prop back to 2000 rpm 170 170 720 on the itt for the climb out all stations area bravo is one zero miles to the southeast of the marijuana city before but yami over tracking up the uh marwaka valley we'll make a right turn towards menya shortly they're not above 9000. correction november tango echoes turner bravo copy that i have you on task now and i'll be at one zero thousand looking remember that he's gonna be at one zero thousand so we definitely can't go above nine for now okay i'm gonna call morris before you please force right there all right i've got him on t cast there 2000 i got him bravo departure tango echo departed time three zero track one two eight on one two zero zero estimating uh the circuit area at time four zero we copy traffic here in india bravo we have comes with him vertical track vertical right so you've already got up our altitude set at 4 700 and what did you put for vertical speed coming down oh i did i said it on the ground so i never said it okay so it's saying it's at 600 basically right now right we're just now approaching 900 000 so i'm just going to make a little left-hand turn here and then just start basically just skirting all the tops of these clouds there's kind of a low route that you can get in around here and then kind of come up the valley and dominion and if you do actually fly x planer the sims and stuff like that i believe minion actually is on x-plane or at least there's a download i'll leave a link down below for those of you who actually want to check out doing this exact same flight or at least flying in the same area but i'm pretty sure miami actually is the next plane one of the very very few all right i'm going to go ahead and bring my torque back to 1250 now that we're 900 000 and actually starting our descent right back down in it looks like the valley all the way down is really nice i'm going to head out this way and then much cloud there is we'll cut our way in but i was looking at windy before i came and i was saying this that there'd be some clouds but overall the valleys would be clear all right so we're just 11 miles 11 miles out now so i'm going to go ahead and start up my checklist my selectors my fuel selectors my brakes these already turned off because we headed off when we took off our vrep we just took off so pretty much the same weight but we can verify we're on aux's 5800 so we are yep 66 knots for our approach speed our landing light on we can enter pulse light because we're within 10 miles and slow it down just a bit just because we do have a couple people on board and i want to keep it below a thousand feet on my descent make it more comfortable for them it's an inlet we'll get inlet here now we're just right at 140 so we can do our inlet that's our inertial separator make sure we don't suck up any birds all right on this one um pattern let me go ahead and bring it up all right we are going to do a tan pattern on runway three three which down three thousand 3700 length is super long 1150 meters mike charlie kilo go ahead november tango echo i'm actually pillow [Applause] i'm bog at this time at seven thousand no factor november take away go thank you you're welcome okay so touchdown 7 300 we're going to set in our altitude at 4700. timer reference and i'm gonna do what you do josh just put in our minimums how you do that yeah uh just remember that yeah that'd be four thousand two 200 on this one um we're going to actually have a lot steeper descent on our final approach as we would normally we like to try to keep it around 550 feet per minute on our descent we're all fishing when six and a half miles to the north six thousand four hundred on december that time at three nine are all stationed because there's a hill on our final it's going to make us actually do more of a 700 to 750 foot descent on our final so anyways we'll basically just hug the mountain as we come in and then turn our final this one has a lot of times like quartering tailwinds on landing or downdrafts on short short final so those are things that i'll be considering as i do come in i'll be looking for the win and indications that might happen as well as just being ready to go on the power so if we do need to go around is basically a left-hand turn out over the river or kind of basically straight up this valley i'm going to choose straight up this valley where light and i'm just going to go ahead and do that rather than turning right back around for any reason and there's nothing special about this place it's a 2.7 slope yes super super long nothing special so we'll come in at 4700 i can actually speed up forget to keep your door closed after we land but after you get out close up the doors again we've had some people climb on our board here before multiple times all right go ahead and pop prop forward you want to make our area please all stations tango echo is joining the circumstance horsebeat more speed of vapor tango echo 6622 secondary all right we're two miles out and go ahead and start slowing down november tango echo we're in the circuit cancel 438 knots first two degrees as far as complete thank you okay so we've got 66 on final 76 on base 8 86 on downwind took it to beam the numbers we'll go 20 degrees of flaps we're at 4 700 feet now 1000 foot above the runway and we're slowing down to 86 knots all right i've got six knots up here going that direction and we'll see how different it is down low because i'm sure it'll be different i think one of this is one of the prettiest valleys with like all the grass and just a couple like spotted trees this would be a perfect place to go camping all right the wind sock is just limp right now indicating zero end on the ground her foot low from where i want to be right 20 degrees of flaps i turn my base 1500 400 and that river looks raging today oh my goodness there's 86 knots 1400 turning base all right i'm going to go right over top of those just on the right side of those tall trees over there got three knots on the tail saw into 76. the high final 42 500 flaps full now checklist complete okay coming up on 42. there's 76 turning final now slowing to 67. minimums minimums right at the hill or at the river i should say we're doing our you need to go mist someone to 66 is that big dark shaded area will land just past the dark shaded area right where it gets light again nine on the left on my side all right we're coming up on fifty land right calling committed to land there's 66. i just saw two police guys running towards the airstrip oh really lovely maybe i'll go and get my mask on maybe we'll have a chat with them anyways guys thank you for joining josh and i along on this short little 10 minute flight to nyamya hope you enjoyed it please give me a like if you did enjoy that flight and share with your friends it definitely helps my channel out and grow and helps with the youtube algorithm all right guys thank you for taking the time to watch and have a great one okay all of our lights off fuel pump off box generator alternator all the way back below 585 cut off and below 38 feather it and turn off my fuel you
