hello Gamers hope you're all doing good good to see you I know it's been like 5 days I've been a little out of it been a little out of it but we're uh we're on the men we're doing well good to see you all it is good to be back playing video games I haven't played a video game in like since the last stream man been far too gone to play a video game even but we're back hope you're doing great guys welcome welcome the last major thing we did we took out the Wisp wyvern over in the Capal and enshrouded which was all the way up here right there at the Pike we did kill it that's the last thing I did and so basically everyone else that is playing this game has definitely surpassed where I am in progress because it's been you know five days since I last played ah but it's going to be back playing video games anyway say investigate the strange letter let me look at the the quest here what do we have got to find masonry tools got to find strange letter Obelisk things lost in the Shroud I would do that if that was like a wand or a staff crucial investigation that's a scavenger matron maybe we go do that to get warmed up maybe maybe and there's that sword as well I never did either okay so that's more space overall but isn't there a larger backpack too yeah so so we got an extra line of space which is going to be big but I thought there was another backpack that goes even larger uh I'm I'm going to share with the class I'm going to share you guys I don't know I don't know if you know how YouTube works but YouTube will often take comments that are considered not okay when people are being insanely insulting or something like that it'll actually like flag them and remove them from being visible and allows me to manually review them well there was a comment a few days ago and I shared it with the mods uh this comment said the people that watch your live streams are inbred I'm paraphrasing he said he said it in a much more aggressive and mean way but he spelled it i m b r e a d imbred now listen there are there are a couple very significant rules if you're going to insult anyone especially if it's via text format you need to make sure that you spell it correctly first off spell it correctly all right but also understand the definition of what you're trying to say okay like those are the very basic rules if you're going to use big words inbred isn't even a big word but if you're going to use words you need to understand the definition this guy just he did not he did not get it he was way out of touch it's kind of hilarious though shout out to that guy yes I am into bread yes me too I too enjoy bread didn't I have more strawberries I thought I had more strawberries there they are there they are okay now again I'm not sure how to get a larger backpack but but overall I prioritize is having a good time because I feel like there's a lot of people out there that are just looking to be a part of something interesting something that is fun even if they're not directly into the game per se they can still find Value in it if people in the chat are being good to one another and the gam play is something that the streamer themselves are enjoying I like to do a balance of both but I do prioritize overall making sure that I am having a good time as much as this is my work I want to make sure that I'm enjoying it otherwise I just kind of make bad content you know what I mean I feel like if I'm having fun then pretty much everyone else will have a good time too well I still hit hard where's this matron at you're a little stuck there guy so he has basically no movement speed you see how he's got the uh the cold effect under his feet it means he's Frozen plus he steps in the muck so I think what happens here if if you're Frozen and you step in the muck then you're just completely like unable to move because stepping in this as you can see reduces your movement speed as well so when they're frozen on top of stepping in this they just can't really do anything they're just stuck there what's up Coco how you doing I discovered infinite high-tech for the glider it's so funny looking too I'm sure that the devs will uh get rid of that before too long but it is funny in the meantime it's funny how that almost always exists in games with gliders though right [Music] ouch got to find this matron what the hell was that noise hey bud oh that good thanks man what is the purpose of the blink farther distance or something it just uh it just like it's it's a little bit further distance and I think it's a little bit faster as well but it is part of the wizard tree okay what am I missing here there it is yeah so you can tell by where the stuff is falling there's actually a giant hit box right here that's not supposed to be as large as it is and it's preventing me from hitting that properly it's not the texting that I'm opening the door even when I shoot low it's still hitting the the door here even that hits it so that that's just broken that sucks so much I don't even know if I had like even if I had a bow I don't know if it would work there yeah that's just broken there's nothing I can do yes this is a survival game yeah suppose I can see if I could just break this come on no straight forward I'm just to see if I can break this with the pickaxe that's what I'm doing pring below the button no the hit box is there oh it did work no matter what like look no matter where I shoot it hits a hit box it just hits it oh now it won't now that the uh now that the door is broken so it wasn't detecting that the door was opening dude just aim lower it doesn't work like that I just tried if it had worked like that I wouldn't have had to break the door if you don't believe me go back a few seconds seconds in the video and you'll see exactly what I mean Frozen core wand legendary starts at 32 damage Mana leech on hit leech 5% damage as Mana oh [ __ ] man that is what we call a huge development gamers that is what we call a huge development it's unfortunate that it's ice but still like that is that's going to be huge overall that was worth it then nice have to give this game a shot dude I think you'll like it it it has um what resembles Souls like combats and has a lot of survival elements to it it's really fun genuinely fun game so yeah I guess if you can't shoot a projectile through the door just take a pickaxe to it guys no problem okay today I learned as well that if you just break it if you can't reach it then it will still activate today I learned that as well good to know now I got to get out of here we're going to go back to base level up this wand and then get back to finding Amber did I not take the goods in here oh I I didn't actually take it there we go we have a weathered Stone now instead of rough Stone sick use arare magic n Josh use smash you're damn right brother had to shoot with a bow no the i' I've hit those buttons with stabs plenty of times if you go back you'll see that the hitbox of the door just wasn't interacting properly trust me if you go back and actually look at it it will you'll see that the hit box of the door wasn't actually moving which is what the problem was no have rested bonus but I don't have a way to fast travel out of here quickly either yeah that was a good find though I'm glad that we uh ran into that now about where I can find Amber there's got to be Amber somewhere out here not having AR rested bonus sucks a lot I am indeed a wizard Frost Priestess how you doing you're a wizard Josh for man where the heck is my Amber is that it I decided to try out the bows the bows early on actually smack like they really mess things up they're kind of crazy strong I made the ranger set and everything it actually does really well what's up what I need to do I'm going to go back home I need to see what it requires to level up the uh flame alter again I think that's what I need to do in order to actually make advancement here and that's another thing I needed Amber for and I believe believe my celium goo my celium yep Amber Indigo copper fell whisp wyvern head I do have that as well bunch of Sparks that's what I wanted to do that's someone asked about my skill tree earlier I'll show you real quick think different classes in this game are so good yeah it's nice to know after playing a couple different builds like that you can be effective with more than just one thing too cuz that is something a lot of survival games really suffer from is the idea that only one or two things are effective anyway here's my skill tree you can see is mostly wizard all this stuff here I got four skill points what was I going to do no players than 15 MERS generate one Health Point per second for every point of your intelligence ooh might go for that but yeah I'm also building a little bit of tankiness and then I have basically nothing anywhere else I think water or is strong I'm going to build towards that now how many points do I need for it three so two more points I'll be able to get water Aura all players in 15 minut generate one additional Health per intelligence point I mean I have a lot of intelligence so I'll be able to basically keep myself permanently healed that'd be sick pendra with 13 months of membership dude how are you liking the game so far um I'm loving it aside from that very odd bug that just happened what the hell I'm loving it man Mr Lo since you started playing with with some friends soon I I haven't started it yet it's a great time man and I can say after playing with a friend of mine as well that it is worth playing with friends too it's a good co-op game you get valheim valheim vibes from this yep it's like a crossover of valheim and grounded for me I love it thank you again HRA for 13 months enjoy the game when you play dude no I deciphered you're good bud you're good this my first play through there's going to be a bunch of copper in here God damn it oh my God that Mana leech is nuts that Mana leech is too good was that Whitney is it snowing no we got blue skies where I am out of all the billies we've seen in different games like this Billy the best I do like the way it looks I just wish it was Stronger Yeah they're still level one for some reason they really should scale up even if it's like even if it was just I don't know 10% of your player level you know so beyond level 10 it gets a little bit stronger or something I don't know I am a dwarf and I'm digging a hole Diggy Diggy Hole Diggy Diggy Hole what up Richard yeah I'm glad you enjoyed the skull in video man it was fun to make I'm sorry your PC struggles with this menu it's [Music] unfortunate yeah card that's often the way of it Metals in general via standard fantasy it's a matter of just it just kind of doesn't allow magic to happen it's either described that way or it's often described as like it's just too heavy for the uh the wearer to comfortably cast a spell you know for whatever reason whether it be Comfort weight so on so forth Just Gathering a bunch of this W over here may as well one thing I can say when it comes to how the mining Works in this game the fact that there's not like individual nodes that you can break with your pickaxe kind of takes away from the s satisfaction of actually mining if that makes sense like none of these little rocks break they just kind of slowly disappear right like the ground moves a little bit eventually the little things just like vanish but there is no like breaking animation I feel like that kind of takes away from the satisfaction of mining in this game I'm not saying it's bad it's a system that works quite well I'm just not as excited to do it it I think that's why popping a giant copper node in valheim is so nice exactly like getting that breaking animation is just so satisfying what up [Music] Bren that's really not saying it's mandatory for the game to be good I just think that overall it's a matter of if I were to say I prefer a certain system I prefer the actual like breaking node system you're not getting blisters once this pickaxe breaks we're going home there it goes it broke it done busted all right now we can play I didn't watch it so I can't say but I can say by the lack of overall discussion that I've seen on it since it's happened I don't think anything too exciting happens but I haven't watched a state of play in a while now myself just because it's like they haven't really talked about anything exciting for a long time so I just kind of don't watch right now it's nice to be able to use the staff so much more now too in fact the staff might become my main damage let's try that for a while I can just use eternal ice bolt blast things and then use the other one to refill my Mana there's a flame malter over there I don't know if leveling up my uh my flame is going to help me get through this stuff but I got to try nice Miss look at that my Mana is all already back full that is isn't that insane that is absolutely insane Mana Leach op dude let's see if I can uh survive the super shroud here [Music] seems good so far I think I think we're doing all right what's up PB fashion the I just well that's new Fowler boots stamina regen Mana regen okay well it has the same stats as Mana regen there much higher armor both physical and Magic plus stamina regen I think this is the first piece of gear found in the wild that is actually better than what I crafted for the first time okay nice an actual upgrade guys ouch let there be lights also I do remember seeing more Rubble in front of a door where I just came from so I kind of want to go back and dig through it too why the sudden music that's not ominous um am I actually going anywhere or am I just in rubble forever that's no longer even right now this is obviously on the slow end but at least I'm running around instead of just like farming when it comes to farming a lot of people would find that really tedious and I'm afraid that's just generally not the type of content I make in general though all the people I like to play games with are generally like friends that I know IRL acid bite has time is 2 seconds lot of poison poison sack ammonia glands goo and dirt makes 20 charges of it I can actually craft Eternal ice bolt what the goo dirt poison sack goo dirt poison sack goo dirt poison sack I want to try this spell out I've not found any before okay where are my poison sacks and now I got a bunch of them there they are shitload of dirts and now for goo I just need to get the uh the bug dust yay shroud liquid for the goo shroud liquid is a problem I don't I think I have like nine that's fine okay I'm going to go get more shroud liquid so I can make more acid bite where my poison sacks is a is a fun question yeah stop falling the secret to getting fast shroud liquid is just pick up the smaller mushrooms don't worry about chopping down the larger ones because it just takes more time than it's worth let's grab a whole bunch of the smaller ones so much faster [Music] look at all the Shroud juice nice nice man now get me out of this place you're becoming a night enchanter yeah kind of what I'm going for tanky battle mage feel it would also be insane if I just really leaned into the Mage idea like maybe if I ended up not using spells and then just went like Warrior tank with the the water Aura I feel like that would also be just so op at the end of the day but I like using the wands and stuff more so what up Bob guys it's okay to have a difference in of opinion and experiences with games there's green tint kind of scares me I need to get more more of this game I will say using wands to kill the uh wildlife in this game is atrociously bad B what was that click what is that what the hell was that dude oh my God that is tedious and annoying yeah okay I can survive that just fine okay that's just a matter of my build though PB I just know how to optimize a build it doesn't mean the enemies are straight up easy doesn't mean like it's there's not actual difficulty to it by any means I've died in this game plenty of times sure it could be harder and I hope they do add like a hard and hardcore mode in the future that doesn't mean that the game is just easy because I'm killing everything effectively it just means I have an effective build don't muddy the idea of effective build means that the game is overall easy those two are not of the same idea oh my God Billy is Wrecking them get them Billy you're owning welcome back [Music] Coco a good example of what I mean by this is I have a really effective build in valheim right now on a character where I'm using daggers and getting lots of backstabs it's at a point now where I'm able to one shot like trolls for example that have a lot of Health that doesn't mean the trolls are easy to fight it just means I have an effective build against them we have wolves I'm scared no I know PB I know you've been watching and I appreciate that man I just want to be very clear about the idea of an effective build doesn't mean the game is easy as all you know that's it nice deenus glad that you've gotten a lot of time out of them man skill tree are you asking to see my skill tree cuz I can show you after I'm out of the Shroud I don't want to do it while I'm in here want to make the most of the time here okay so this is a problem here o my god get me out of there it wouldn't take the items but luckily we heal really fast so that's cool a playr that's actually really nice no enemies nearby interesting there's power scaling in this game too though PB you mean you saw a little bit ago when those uh those wolves not only took like half my health with one single hit I don't know what they were they were just like the desert wolves or whatever I only took half my health with a single hit but they also stunned me regular wolves don't do that they don't do nearly as much damage nor do they stun me there's absolutely power scaling in this game too again it's a I think you're construing me playing effectively with a decent build versus the actual difficulty I think you're just like you're like you're you watching this is misconstruing that idea for you right now I'm not saying I'm the most skilled player ever by any team but I'm just I am playing effectively I will say all right here's my skill tree I'm mostly specked into the wizard Branch as you can see I got all the additional Elemental stuff except for subzero here and frost uh-oh what do you want I build up here for chain hit mass destruction ex extra intelligence this is the Healer tree I've got water Aura Waters of life and blink I built up battle mage a little bit so I can get some additional you know Mana regen and stuff like that wand master and then I spec a little bit into tanks so I can get more armor and health crackling wand fire right we got to keep going South Southwest however the very powerful shroud is that way think we need to go straight west and then try to go around this like Lake h anything cool in here no another bow oh God dud go away those bugs are very annoying yeah so I'm not one-shotting these bugs anymore small problem unless I get backstabs on on them okay we found a way we found a way through yeah the health regen is absolutely busted the water Aura skill is insanely op I do foresee them nerfing that well we' made it the Conway camp [Applause] Jesus dude okay ring of stamina plus four Stam plus three Stam regen not bad not bad Elixir well over here I'm going to go do that we go back up here and figure that [Music] out stop yelling okay whatever you can go um there we go light burst magical ammunition that releases a flash of light right enough to push back enemies around the Caster interesting running a lot more spells [Music] now ouch I'm just hanging this yeah the fire is so much more effective seemingly than ice is for most things when we do get the double cast it really spikes the damage in a nice way love that what is that that's new fell monstrosity oh boy new boss let's go oh hey you spit things at me what the kind of nuts so yeah the uh the healing is absolutely broken flame Shield fell monstrosity head water Aura is completely broken that's actually trivializing the entire game now my build was good before then but that just makes the build absolutely broken inane you can't really uh worry about Game of the Year this early on in the year to me we're two days into February not a whole lot of great games have time to come out in a single month of a year got to keep in mind there's some pretty big hitters scheduled for later on this year like for example stalker 2 in September not saying it's going to be game of the here but that game is definitely one of the bigger launches this year can't concern ourselves with Game of the Year this early on let me try light burst [Music] interesting in the case of the bugs I do enjoy light burst a lot no games beat Mother Nature well I disagree I don't think there's anything else here all right the almanac is down there but I want to see ah bug I want to see what that is really quick smithing so I think I just go down to the Elixir well fast travel on out of here get my rested bonus back up and then go to the other side of things not elix are well but shroud Roots okay I'm not even moving my character to the right holy [ __ ] dude I was even moving my character to the right but it was going that way because of the slope of the Hill man [Music] unfortunate the slope of the Hill got me good [Music] I can tell you a sodium joke but nah yeah Eternal chain lightning would be insane as well yeah look at my health without any actual Constitution bonuses and then we eat the chicken and boom nice still not tanky enough to survive that [ __ ] down there though there we go we want to go vac for I I'll be honest with you man I don't know if I would want to go anywhere if I were to like just kind of take a week or two to do absolutely nothing I don't know that I would leave very far I can't really think of anywhere that I would want to go I've actually been asked this question before and I still don't have an answer of like where I would want to go what's up Haw quins yeah I do finding just traveling to be just absolutely exhausting yeah that is definitely part of it for me those right what's this question marks all right I think the extent in which I would be willing to travel right now would be to like an amusement park so I can ride a roller coaster because it's been a while since I've been on a roller coaster I am a roller coaster enjoyer so if I were to go anywhere I would be looking into an amusement park of some kind and that would be the extent of it which as far as amusement parks go I think I mean I've been on dozens of coasters dozens and dozens when I got my own job after I graduated school me and me and one of my really close friends traveled to a few different amusement parks what's the one in Ohio I can't remember the name of it I think it starts with a C they have a ton of roller coasters there as well that I rode on that was sick Dollywood yeah I could go to Dollywood that's not too far off travel good for mental health I mean sure but for me like I I I get a simple recharge just by like taking a walk that's what I do for my mental recharges Cedar Point that's the one Cedar points yes that's the [Music] one Black Cauldron for The Alchemist this one's pretty important for me to get oh Six Flags I've been to uh Six Flags Six Flags Daren lake near Buffalo New York I've been there like eight times or something I've been there a lot they have a uh a roller coaster there I don't know if they still have it but they had a roller coaster there it was new when I was in Middle School and that was one of the first roller coasters I rode on it's called The Mind Eraser it has your feet dangling out and like most of the roller coaster goes out over the lake there and it's just really cool the way it works is when you go out there because of the uh the way the Lakes work out there it's like it's really misty for a lot of the day so when you go down towards like the bottom side of the coaster like your feet are just like you're you're a few feet above the water but like it's all Misty and stuff down there it's really cool it's really really cool and honestly kind of refreshing especially go if you go there during the the hot summer months like say you go there in August getting that blast of mist when you're riding on the roller coaster is so nice that's the badass park with the mighty Superman it sure is dude that roller coaster is sick I haven't been on it in so long though was my mind erased it was thoroughly erased Wyatt yeah it was thoroughly erased y I've been on the Superman several times what was that old wooden coaster there as well I want to say twisted something that that roller coaster as far as wooden coasters go was pretty decent was it good do not remember are you talking about Daran Lake I I enjoy Darion Lake a lot if you're talking about Cedar Point Cedar Point is also amazing I don't know if they still have the Hot Wheels roller coaster there as well but it was I think I'm pretty sure it was a Hot Wheels roller coaster where they had you they they put you on these bikes essentially you know it's a seat but you're sitting on it like a motorcycle and it goes from 0 to 60 in like 2 seconds or some [ __ ] it's nuts you just launched dude it's pretty cool just did Mountain something like that [Music] yeah I've also been to dorny Park Hershey Park um there's another one in Pennsylvania I've been to but I can't remember the name of it just now cradle of dusk fell monstrosity again they'll have different stuff but yeah oh uh Darion Lake also has a roller coaster called the Viper it has a part of it tunnels underground so it just like becomes straight up Darkness for a few seconds when you're going through there you're just zipping through like a tunnel underground in complete darkness it's pretty interesting and because of the way Sound Works in the tunnel as well you're just kind like some of your senses are becoming deprived while you're just zipping through there pretty wild take it easy Coco well this is new is this iron 10 I have found 10 interesting a large chest I'm a large chest enjoyer bronze or we can make bronze that makes sense copper and [Music] Tin New York has a lot of great attractions as well though if you guys have ever heard of itha New York if you've heard if you've heard any rumors about how beautiful it is there yes they are true waterfalls everywhere A lot of them you can climb up and everything it's so sick [Music] the Finger Lakes in New York are absolutely gorgeous as well great for boating and fishing sounds like a heart attack oh the Viper yeah it's kind of nuts also at the Northern end of New York is the St Lawrence River which is also beautiful that's not New York Ithaca is absolutely in New York what do you mean I literally live nearby are you trying to Gaslight me out of my childhood [Music] crazy there's a lot of tin here just going to gather up as much as I can while I'm here may as well bhood Oaken Manhattan Brooklyn and Queens I mean that is New York City that is not the rest of New York here that it can do for me maybe I need to make one in order to actually get the recipe or recipes out of it though what I got to do shroud liquid melium water shroud spores mhm shroud liquid shroud spores all right I need shroud liquid and my celium where's all my shroud juice there it is now where's my my celium let's see what this will do for me when it's done working it how much do I get out of this just one okay I'm sitting here trying to think of the amusement park that I went went to in Pennsylvania as well aside from Hershey and Dorney least I think dorney's in Pennsylvania I know Hershey is for sure but there's another amusement park in Pennsylvania that I went to it's much smaller but it has a wooden roller coaster that's actually pretty fun I just can't remember it about Grand blue relink and do you have any plan to play in the future I have no idea what it is hammad what's up life here ah great Mana potions I'm assuming great health potion as well alchemical base yep antiseptic at Alchemy Station as well interesting no it wasn't that trout survival flask probably yeah so let me see about antiseptic wood acid and aloe I have not found aloe yet so I can't make that I'll just let the rest of this craft together it'll make another 15 16 of them that's fine story okay now what of wood acid is out of wood logs and dirt that makes sense this bronze bars copper bar and Tin bars okay so tin bars is charcoal tin and wood acid but I need to make a lot of wood acid which again is what wood and dirt let's go get some dirt going throw that in there what's up Amber how you doing allows up where the peppers where it makes sense Al's in a warmer area yeah that does that does clear that does add up kind of new game maybe check it maybe you like it I'll check it out
