through this week lord god you're still worthy of the praise god we magnify you lord god will shout your brains our hearts will cry these bones will sing your oh oh is oh is oh me jesus continue to magnify him continue to glorify him the air that you're breathing is because god gifted you that breath scripture says in the lord god formed man of the dust of the ground and breathe into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living so it's it's only because of god that we have breath in our lungs it's only because of god that we're we're actually valued as more than just dirt it's it's only because of god we have what we have so why don't you take just another moment to worship him just another moment of praise and with with every breath you're taking it's another gift from god every opportunity you have to be alive it's because of the grace and the mercy of god so while you just continue to worship and magnify him glorify him lift up your hands lift up your voice clap your hands do something to thank god for the breath that you have in your body to thank god for another day that you're living there's there's some that they didn't wake up today there's there's many dying and many on their way to hell but god blessed us so we ought to give him praise and magnify him and glorify his name and we are thankful to the god that we serve and with that heart of worship we're going to go to the lord in prayer at this time as you see there are names on the monitor some have need of healing some have special needs and most importantly there are many in need of salvation so church we're gonna pray for these needs and bring these petitions and intercede before god and and pray with an expectation that god will hear our cry and meet our need a church let us pray dear heavenly father in the mighty name of jesus lord we're thankful for another opportunity to worship you another opportunity to praise you another opportunity to take breath another opportunity to breathe and to live in a function and it's only because of you you are the one who formed us and made us you are the one who breathe into our nostrils the breath of life you are the one who filled us with your spirit god it is only because of you that we stand here today and god we are forever thankful lord we're not gonna take for granted the blessings that you poured out upon us but god there are still so many people in need there are many o god who are in need of healing many o god who has special needs and requests god we're asking you to step in on behalf of all these needs lord i pray that you would touch all those who are in need of healing lord from the crown of their head to the soul of their feet i pray o god that you would heal them lord bring complete healing to their life make them completely whole god restore bodily functions lord restore mental stability do a complete work in their life lord lord not for our glory but for your glory o god because you are our physician you are our healer and it is by your stripes that we are healed god i pray also that you would touch every special need every special request whatever the situation may be god you are able to do all things lord and we trust and believe in you we lean not on our own understanding but god we put our faith our hope everything in you oh god and we're expecting you to make a way out of nowhere you've done it before and and we know god that you can do it again but most importantly touch all those who are in need of salvation those who are drawing closer and closer to eternity and don't even realize that i pray lord wherever they may be god you would begin to prick their hearts you will begin to touch their hearts or let them not be comfortable god let them not be complacent but let them desire more of you let them desire a deeper relationship with you oh god let them come to an altar of repentance let them give their life to you lord let them be changed lord as they go down in the waters of baptism and are filled with your spirit oh god do a greater work than ever seen before and we're thanking you lord because we have an expectation that you can and we'll do all things lord we have an expectation lord that nothing can limit you oh god so we're trusting and believing to touch the word that's gonna go forth touch the man of god that's bringing forth your word oh god lord they have prepared oh god lord they have prayed oh god and now is the time for you to speak through them lord let your anointing rest upon them as they preach your word lord and i pray that our hearts will be receptive to your word let us receive the word with gladness oh god and let us be forever changed lord and we're thanking you in advance for what you're doing and what you're going to do god we give you all the glory we give you all the honor we give you all the praise and we thank you now lord we consider it done in jesus name we pray amen and amen in something that we give as a people of god uh really a following example that we see in scripture really any time you have a promotion or increase or a new job that that increase or that that paycheck you really want to give that as a first fruit offering unto god really as a sign that we're thankful for the blessings that he's pouring out in our lives so if you see brother rock marvel doing it and you feel encouraged to do it and you've been promoted or you've gotten a raise or you've got a new job why don't you sacrifice as well and know that if he's doing it for him he can do it for you and in the mighty name of jesus we humbly come before you thankful for another opportunity to give another opportunity to sow into your kingdom lord i pray right now that you have blessed this offering lord bless those who are unable to give so that they can sow into your kingdom lord and i pray that you will bless those who are able to give lord faithful to giving of their tithes lord what is owed to you and faithful of giving a cheerful sacrificial offering on top of their tithe lord i pray that you will bless them and keep them lord pour out more than just financial blessings pour out winding down as i've said before i believe we have probably about 10 years or so maybe a little less to go before the rapture and i got to make it i got saved when i was 16 years old i'm 72 now a couple days i've been 72. so you know god has had his hand on me he's helped me he saved my life he he's done so much for me this is why i love him so much and i would wish that beloved if you will get a hold of god and love him so that nothing will be able to separate you from the love of jesus nothing doesn't matter nothing should separate us and i know that going up there i'm going to meet all those saints i'm going to say hello to paul i'm going to be greeting peter hey mary how are you doing hallelujah i'm going to be excited heaven holds all to me time is short and i know that you know we have done some work in in this church we just passed our 29 years and we have god has blessed us we've done some work but we have a lot of work left to do and i'm going to see if we can give it our best and then i know we'll hear well done because time is winding down and as i mentioned happening and you know this pandemic i don't know if it's kind of accelerated that but what is happening and what is going to happen is this there are many people who have been saved over the years five years six eight 10 years 15 years 20 years 25 years and a lot of them are dropping out i know you can be silent that's good i'm just telling you a lot of them are dropping out and not going to make it the people that's going to make it are the people that are going to be saved during this last 9-10 years and they'll make heaven but a lot of the older saints who had been around going to kiss heaven goodbye and i'm sad about it but i see it happening and this pandemic sometimes has kind of highlighted a little bit more because people will go to walmart they'll go longhorn they'll go to publix but are you coming to church oh well no covet is keeping me from church won't keep you from going out doing other things now but they keep you from church so they're going to miss out many i'm i'm just telling you folks many people who have been saved are going to miss out those that are going to make it are the people who are going to be saved in the last in the next nine to 10 years they're making it that is why jesus asked the question when he come will he find any faith on the earth because a lot of the people who had been saved many years they thrown in the towel and i'm sad about it but i can do nothing heaven i must make it i don't care what it's going to come i must get there yes nothing's going to separate me from god because god when he reached down his hand for me oh beloved i'm telling you i love god so much there may be people that love god more than i do but i'm i'm right up there love him it's just been a god to me and i appreciate all that he does i'm gonna try and do what we can for this next nine ten years reach as many people as we can show them salvation let them know that god will help them let them know that god can forgive them because there's a lot of people out there some of them have done so many sins so much sin sometimes they wonder if god can forgive them but we're going to tell them friend god is able to forgive you god will wash you god will cleanse you yes and they will come some of them may come they're drunk they're on marijuana they on all kind of drugs and so forth but come jesus can wash you hallelujah god can forgive you god can lift you up and some of the old saints i'm just saying beloved just mark my word but this boy must make it he must hear well done i don't care what happened in this world made up my mind nothing is going to separate me from god nothing nothing coming up 57 years that i've gotten saved and nothing going to separate this boy uh-uh we've got much work to be done beloved and you know we've got churches that we're planting this year and then of course we have a great work down in south florida god reminded us and then once we finish all that work we'll just here come away and i'm beloved i want you to be saved i don't want you to be left behind when the church is gone because i don't know i don't know what's going to happen to you you were part of new life you were part of the apostolic church and now the church is gone you call and say see if we see pastor today is pastor david around oh no he's gone who is this other person oh they're gone and then it will dawn on somebody that the church is gone i want i want to make it i'm doing everything i can because i must make it nine ten years left and i'm going to do the best i can i don't know if some of you are planning to go to general conference but of course you know they're going to recognize us tabby here the work that has been done here and tabby is going to become recognized by upc and you know people of god we we've got to do as much as we can to reach people because hell is not a good place it's not a good place jesus he jesus even testified that the fire is not quenched did fire don't die and so i don't plan to be there and the thing about it he says hell has enlarged so he has to be enlarging hell because the population has increased we don't read anywhere where heaven is increased hell is increased so be strong beloved love god serve god get a get a get a get a a mindset hey i'm going to i'm going to do the best i can so that god will bless me when you do that god is going to help you because you know we're weak in places who sometimes we're not a hundred percent but if you continue god will help you god we add a little strength here give you an a little a little anointing here give you a touch here amen and then you you become more consistent because living for god is not easy you know if some people if you used to drink and so forth living for god when you see that bottle you don't even think about it kiss that thing goodbye if you used to tell lie you're living for god no lying anymore you used to curse none of that because god cleaned you up yes and your life your life then represents jesus you walk like you're what like you like god is touching you clean up you don't you don't do mess before i god save friend i'm gonna tell you i don't know if anybody that's around could curse as i could i knew every curse word i make up some i add some amen when god got a hold of my life all of that is behind me i sing of his grace i talk about his goodness i make mention of his name so keep on keeping on beloved because better days are coming praise god come on clap your hands onto the lord everybody let's stand to our feet everywhere in the house tonight amen um there are some some cards that we have up here how many excited about our back to church sunday this coming sunday amen with some friends and a family day we're trying to bring as many people as we can to the house of the lord this coming sunday so i'm going to ask you to do me a favor i need some folks to come and grab some of these cards so you can give to people at work amen give to people in the mcdonald's drive through people at publix amen and uh i have to remind you it's back to church suddenly 2021 these cards will not be good for 2022. don't hold these cards in your car until next year this time praise god use them up between now and this coming sunday so every card needs to disappear off of here amen and uh give them out to everybody that you possibly can amen it's going to be a blessing good to have anthony and teva all the way from texas visiting with us they've been watching us online and came all the way to tampa praise god to visit with us god bless them amen maybe god will touch him to move hallelujah amen we wouldn't mind that praise god amen we want to extend christian sympathy to sister tarrica marcellus in the passing of her uncle amen and also rosie dagin in the passing of her brother and also sister hernisha reed in the passing of her cousin lord john chapter 6. while you're turning there i want to give honor to our pastoral team bishop and his family pastor collins and his family we're thankful for you all we may not we may say it a lot but we can't say it enough we're thankful for all you've done for this ministry and for us john chapter six we're going to start in verse 60. my lovely wife and she's helping with two kids right now so god give her grace she may not hear the message but gianna has a word i believe so we'll see john chapter 6 verse 16 many therefore of his disciples when they had heard they said this isn't hard saying who can hear it when jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it he said unto them doth this offend you what and if you shall see the son of man ascend up where he was before it is the spirit that quickeneth the flesh prophet of nothing the words that i speak unto you they are spirit and they are life but there are some of you that believe not for jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believe not and who should betray him and he said therefore said i said i unto you that no man can come unto me except it were given unto him of my father from that time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him then said jesus on to the twelve will you also go away then simon peter answered him lord to whom shall we go thou hast the words of eternal life and we believe and are sure that thou art that christ the son of the living god and tonight i want to talk to us from the topic don't turn back pastor if you don't mind father in the name of jesus we thank you for your word and for your spirit we thank you for your precious blood lord god we thank you for this church this community of believers lord god you've laid your hand on us you've called us out of darkness into marvelous light and we're grateful to you lord jesus you chose us lord god before the foundation of the world father i thank you for this young man that you put your hand on him now and anoint him from the crown of his head to the soul of his feet put your word in his mouth and in his heart and cause him to preach with power and with demonstration of the spirit i pray lord god that will be transformed by this word that we will continue with you and go all the way that we won't turn back lord jesus the warning has come from the man of god about the falling away i pray lord jesus christ that the people under the sound of my voice will hold fast to the profession of faith lord god we give you glory we give your honor we give you praise tonight in jesus mighty name somebody say amen amen if you're determined to hold out to the end give god a shout of praise one more time praise god amen amen i'm glad we're still in the apostolic church praise god prior to this point in our text we see that jesus was making a name for himself in john chapter two he he does his first miracle we see he turns the water into wine and in john 4 we see that jesus sees a man he runs into a man that is crying for healing for his child and jesus tells him to go his way the child is healed he gets back to see his child and the servants stop him and lets him know the child is already healed and he's saying what time did they heal him and they let him know it was the same hour that jesus gave him the word so we see that jesus is making a name for himself and jesus leaves from there and not too long after jesus makes his way in john chapter 5 to the the pool of bethesda and this is a pool where as an angel stirs the water at a certain period if you get in right on time then you if you are the first one to get in then you get your healing but there was a lame man that couldn't get his healing because obviously everyone else is going to find their way there before him but jesus runs into this man and he lets him know he asks the man what does he need from him and jesus sees that the man has a need for healing and jesus heals him and jesus is going over and over and he's doing so many miracles in john chapter six and two it says and a great multitude followed him because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased now we see that jesus is making a name for himself and they're seeing man the power of god is really with this man and people are being healed and the people who are following jesus's ministry now they get to the point where as is thousands of them and jesus is moved with compassion he sees that the people are hungry so he does what we all know is the feeding of the thousands and jesus takes a couple of loaves and a couple of fishes and he feeds thousands of people and the church is growing thousands of people are following jesus ministry and everything is thriving as we would think because in our head revival is just about numbers we see that church is growing and you would think that jesus would do what some of us would do probably preach about something a little happy go lucky keep the saints happy you know let's get more offering you let me preach about blessings jesus decides to do something a little controversial he started talking about what they thought was cannibalism he starts teaching them well if you don't eat my flesh you don't have any part of me you know the people are confused some of you that are probably new to church are looking at me confused jesus starts telling them if you don't drink my blood you have no life in you and the people are looking at jesus i'm trying to figure out like somebody's looking at him i know a little bit confused in john 6 53 jesus says this and jesus said unto them verily verily i say unto you except ye eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood you have no life in you whosoever eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life and i will raise him up at the last day for my flesh is me indeed and my blood is drink indeed he that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me and i in him and if many of us are honest we've been in church all our lives and we still don't know where jesus was going with that what exactly do you mean by eat your flesh and drink your blood many of us are looking like i remember pastor collins mentioning one time it's like jesus is starting a vampire ministry that must have been what the people thought was happening but unfortunately they didn't grasp that it was a spiritual concept that jesus was trying to take place he wasn't trying to teach them something to tickle their emotions or to get the church growing just a little bit more it wasn't a matter of someone needs to be healed now he was teaching them a principle because they wanted the healing but they didn't really want him they really wanted his blessings they wanted the power of god they're moved they see they see that god has moved even the disciples saw him walking on water but they loved what he was able to do not necessarily who he was and jesus gets to them and he's letting them know well if you don't do what i'm telling you to do right now it doesn't matter if you're a part of the church you have no life in you that's what jesus lets them know when the people are telling themselves this is a hard thing who can understand what this preacher is talking about they're beginning to murmur and jesus is looking at them like does this offend you and eventually a few people not even a few because thousands of people were there thousands of people decided to leave the church thousands they knew who they knew the power of god but that wasn't enough to keep them when they were confused they saw the miracles but that wasn't enough to keep them when they didn't like the sermon they saw the miracles but that wasn't enough to keep them when jesus challenged their flesh when jesus challenged their intellect when he challenged what they thought they were getting themselves into all of a sudden everyone is looking at themselves i'll go find a more convenient preacher i'll go find myself an easier doctrine they begin to look at themselves and say well this isn't the way for me and there comes a point in all of our lives so we have to make decisions if you're younger am i gonna download a tick tock and be on there four hours trying to learn the new you know the little weird dances they do if you're a teenager you're probably thinking what college am i gonna go to if i do go to college you're a young adult you're probably thinking am i gonna get married when i do get married are we gonna go for half kids or are we gonna adopt you're thinking about all these things we all get to a point in our life where we have to make an important decision about the direction our life is gonna go or if you're like me and you're thinking about the more important decisions in life you're wondering am i gonna buy chick-fil-a for dinner or am i actually gonna just cook you know i actually cooked guys i promise i promise but many of us were trying to wonder do i go off to college do i go to this city do i do this do i do that but we don't understand that it's more important decisions that we have to make in life like am i going to forgive this person that offended me or am i going to harbor bitterness and resentment in my life am i going to accept that the man so god is trying to place on my life or am i going to continue running from the calling we all have decisions that we have to make in ourselves in our ministry and our families and many of us we have to understand that when it comes to the most important decision in life that is not about what is happening on this earth but it's about your eternal reward are we going to follow jesus or are we going to turn back to the lifestyle that he delivered us out of so tonight i just want to talk to you briefly about staying the course i believe that like bishop is saying if we're if we're if we have any bit of spiritual knowledge or spiritual insider or we're simply just paying attention we can see that people are falling away and i don't mean church numbers i mean our spiritual lives we can see that people are drifting and tonight i believe that god wants to encourage us to take a stand and to continue pressing forward so firstly i want to say that we have to guard our hearts from offense i believe one of the easiest ways that the enemy uses to get people out of the house of god is to allow them to be offended to allow them to feel as though oh you're talking down on me okay see you later if we think about it businesses fail because someone was offended i don't like the way my boss is talking to me i'ma quit i could find a better job i don't need this or employees start getting into it someone just has to get fired whatever it all was rooted in some type of offense 50 of marriages we all hear it all the time end in divorce why because the spirit of offense i'm not saying that that you didn't have a right to do whatever you did but my point is you got to that point because you were offended they felt like they were offended beyond repair so i'm done with this i'm not going to take this old and that's where we get divorced because of the spirit of offense people change churches because of offense i knew that would be a little bit quiet some of us we probably ended up here because of church hurt somewhere else and someone else may have been listening online and you're not here because you were offended by something that happened at church the preacher offended you yep that's not my church the member offended you yep that that person is a demon whatever it is the enemy is trying to use a spirit of offense to get us out of god's place the bible says in proverbs 18 and 19 a brother offended is harder to be one than a strong city and their contentions are like the bars of a castle jesus is letting us know in his word that you can go to war and that is easier than talking to someone that was offended trying to win a battle is easier than talking to that person who because once we are offended we shut down i don't want to hear another sermon from that guy i don't want to hear another praise the lord from this brother no you should not have spoken to me that way you should have not have done this and if you were a christian you would have known better we don't want to be honest but i know in your mind you're saying amen so praise god anyhow and many of us we know if we're honest we've been offended we feel as though we've been offended more in the house of god than we have in the streets my boy is from the streets but we run deep so i they didn't they didn't offend me but it's easy when we get in the house of god and i see the tongue talker insult me and i see the the owl runner talking about my wife and i see the person who's teaching sunday school bad-mouthing someone else when they're not around but they're best friends when they're together it's easy for the spirit of offense to step in and to pull us outside of the house of god i have a brother who backslid from the faith and i remember one day you're always praying and i'm still praying to this day that god brings him back but i remember one day he came to church and in the church lobby i don't know if the usher thought it was a good idea to greet him the way they did but you know what's going on backslider and they were a bit joking but he found it very disrespectful that he had some choice words to use to them i'm sure they didn't enjoy what he said but the most devastating thing is in the fact that he cursed him out in the church lobby is the fact that he never went back to that church because of the spirit of offense and i believe the spirit of offense is trying to creep in because the enemy knows if i can get you offended i can harden your heart towards god we think our hearts is hardened towards that person that offended us but it's really god you've actually shut out the bible says in matthew 18 and 7 woe onto the world because of offenses for it must needs be that offenses come but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh i want you to understand i know this is not the part that we run and jump about but please understand while you are living for god you are going to be offended somebody's probably going to be offended by this sermon somebody's going to be offended because i didn't dress the way they wanted me to dress something is going to happen that you're going to be offended i need us to understand that and it's quicker for us to find deliverance if we're quicker to come to that realization because it's so easy for the enemy that's to simply nudge someone just to bump into you and if he knows if your flesh is that fickle that the moment something happens he can run you out of church the enemy is going to send people to poke at you day in and day out until he pulls you out of the house of god and that's why we have to be spirit driven and not emotions led jesus himself many people think man if i didn't have bishop i want to be offended when the person is preaching they were offended at jesus could you imagine going to jesus's church and he's calling people hypocrites could you imagine you're going to jesus's church and he's like you couldn't wait for one hour in prayer you couldn't pray for one hour and then when they say 6 a.m prayer everybody let me not get there because i'm trying to be consistent myself all right pastor all right but we see that even despite jesus being the perfect preacher the perfect man to walk this earth he still offended people with his speech and you may not want to admit it but many of us we're harboring bitterness towards god at the moment god where's my healing god where's my spouse where's the child god where's the job where's the house many of us because we're faithful to god we expect that this should work like clockwork god i'm faithful i give i do this i do that where's my blessing and because god has not honored that prayer request yet we are holding bitterness towards god i'm believing that someone has to be honest with themselves tonight so you can find healing i believe god wants to heal someone i feel it in my spirit that someone is holding bitterness with god and god is trying to let you know he has not forgotten you and i know you may not say it but i know i've been bitter towards god sometimes and wonder god why why not me or god why me and you're wondering you're questioning there's so many things we can question with god but what i love about jesus is the fact that he's not catering to every pity party matthew 11 2 says it like this now when john had heard in the prison the works of christ he sent two of his disciples and said unto them art thou he that should come or do we look for another jesus answered and said unto him go and show john again those things which he do here and see the blind receive their sight in the lame walk the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preaching them and blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in me he believed that jesus was going to come and show himself yes i'm the christ jesus said no go tell him about the testimonies of everyone else being blessed can john still worship god when everyone else got a promotion that you were praying for can we still say oh he's still a good god when he didn't give it to me but he blessed my brother he blessed my sister am i trusting that god is good am i gonna hold offense in my heart towards god or i'm gonna allow myself to trust that god is still good even if i'm in a prison he's still able to bring liberation to everyone else and that's all that i need to hear john was looking for answers but god was letting him know you don't need to focus on the here and now there was not a better prophet to walk this earth than john jesus himself is praising him but he didn't deliver him out of the situation many of us we have to understand that we must be willing to encounter offense and still pursue after god we must be willing to allow you to say whatever you want to say about me okay you think you think i do drugs all right go ahead and gossip about me but i'm still going to go to the house of god and i'm still going to give him praise and i'm still going to be faithful and i'm still going to give and i'm still going to aim to be a soul winner why because god is still a good god and it doesn't matter what we are facing you have to understand that god is bigger than what we are facing and we cannot allow the spirit of offense to creep into the church because once that creeps in the spirit of division is going to destroy what god is trying to build in his church secondly we have to understand that we've come way too far for us to turn back now we've come way too far i've seen i've seen you guys talk about so many testimonies because obviously my wife and i've only been here a few years and all the things that's going on and it's such a blessing but what does it matter what god has done in 29 years if we stop now what good is it if we've already planted 20 churches and we just get complacent what good is it yes you taught this amount of bible studies and you just stopped no god wants to do a greater work and a greater ministry can be birthed out of you if you are willing to not stay still and complacent bishop you guys just celebrated 29 years and i'm still in awe of how 29 years yes it's a great church it's a big church you see god doing so many not so many great things but 29 years is a blessing some people don't make it 29 months 29 weeks don't have 29 members let's be honest 29 years is a blessing you know but we have to understand yes we can clap and we can shout but there's still empty seats that we still have work to do as long as there are still drug houses we have work to do there are still souls in the clubs we have work to do as still as we have co-workers that don't know that acts 238 is the only plan of salvation we still have work to do it doesn't matter how complacent we get and how good god has been in our past but we still need our god to show up in our future to show up in our situations we hear about all the kids getting saved at the new life academy but some of us don't go to the academy we need to bring the same holy ghost fire to our campuses and the same fire to our schools there's still work to do if there are empty seats there are work to do when there's the next building there's going to be more empty seats which means there's still work for us to do we can't afford to turn our back on the mission now because god is doing great things and we're blessed and he's providing many of us are testifying of all the miracles but god still has more miracles for us to see he still has more people for him to bless he still has more people on drugs and addictions many of us we know that god has delivered us out of so much why turn back now god has delivered you from pornography why go back to it now he's delivered you from alcohol why go back now he's delivered you from heroin and cocaine and weed and all these things and if god is able to deliver you why go back now why get complacent you are doing nothing in the past and now you're faithful you're going to allow covet to slow down your ministry and your praise and you're going to allow people's criticism to slow you down no why turn back now the work ahead of us is still great we have a great work ahead of us i believe that god is still in the business of saving i believe that god is still in the business of delivering i've been in church my whole life so there are some things i didn't do but there are still people in the house of god that been in here your entire life and you're contemplating going back there's nothing out there for you young people there's nothing in this world that you are missing you think they're happy no they're still lost they're confused they're hoping for someone to love them so they're jumping from bed to bed but you you know better you know god has a plan for your life you know he's anointed you don't turn back to this world the bible says in second timothy 4 for demons have forsaken me verse 10 having loved this present world and has departed onto thessalonica christians to galatia titus onto dalmatia brother earl preaches perfectly i'm not even going to belabor that point but we have to understand there's a lord the enemy is trying to to make us believe that there's something luxurious about what we're missing the church you're in church again every day do y'all go home that's what the enemy wants you to think you're missing something bro look at all us we're turning up you're looking at their close friends and their snapchat story and everyone looking like they're having a great time lost and bankruptcy having no money why because they're going to the same tire clubs week after week buying bottles trying to impress people and still confused don't know who the father of the child is why because sin will pull you deeper than you've ever intended to go it's not worth it demas was someone who knew the word of god doing the work of god what happened he saw the beauty of the world don't get me wrong sin has sin has his beauty sin has his beauty but the ending the ending is always destruction and the enemy knows what he's doing he sees the young man and the young um women here he sees you doing a great work and why moving wildly and serving and doing all these things but don't think your friends at school aren't trying to pull you out to sin don't think they're not waiting on an opportunity to a co-worker that you're uh we're just cool don't think that these co-workers aren't trying to pull you out of the house of god when you're trying to witness to them and they're twisting the conversation to remind you about the things of the world you got to go to church come on it's happy hour the devil is a liar you have to rebuke that spirit trying to pull you back pay attention to what the enemy is trying to do he's trying to bring you back to the things of this world church we cannot afford to let go of the truth we cannot afford to let go of the oneness doctrine of this holiness doctrine and i know many people think it's just the upci is not the upci is scripture we cannot afford to let go of what the word of god is saying the old time saints used to sing growing up it was good for paul and silas that is good enough for me and i believe that if it was good in the bible it's still good for our church today and if our bishop planted the church on acts 238 then who am i for the next 29 years to change your doctrine apostolic is the only way you can be there's only one type of christian in scripture everything else is a doctrine of devils everything else paul said let it be a curse proverbs 22 and 28 says remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have set he's laid the foundation and i believe that his time may not be here for another 100 or whatever amount of years but he's already laid the foundation and we cannot change it we have to go and win souls it only works the bible way because many churches are building crowds but they're not building a church because without the truth it is not a church it's a social club but we're building an apostolic church a church that is holy a church that is spotless it's only one way that works only one way to be saved it doesn't matter how genuine they are you can be sincere and be wrong but we have the truth and we have to teach it we have the truth and we must declare it we don't always understand everything that's being said but that does not mean we're supposed to move from where god planted us i spoke to bishop earlier in the year because i almost got caught in that trap being offended and moving away from god called me not even in my notes but i know someone else is thinking about drifting and we moved and chaos began to go out inside of our lives i didn't want to tell self hey we need to go back because i'm stubborn you know so sofa randomly brought it up can i be honest we're in church i was like babe i think we should go back and i was like you think so too because i was not my my pride was not but but the moment we came back god opened so many doors i'm telling you i'm not saying new life is the kingdom but when god planted you somewhere do not get up from where god has planted you do not go away from this doctrine if god has told you there is only one place for you to be do not move without another word from god do not step away from what god has called you to because the moment you step away the enemy may make you feel blessed but there is only destruction coming out of that anywhere you go that doesn't have sound doctrine is not the will of god anywhere you're going and they're preaching let's just raise our hands and the devil is a liar there's no one raising their hands and doing anything in the bible but they're repenting of their sins they're being baptized in jesus name they're receiving the gift of the holy ghost and when people were offended in the scripture you know what they did they humbled themselves and they received the word of god sound doctrine is the only thing that's going to save us and we cannot afford to get up because we are offended or we don't understand the word it's better to seek god for understanding than to go out on your own and not realize that god wasn't with you lastly we must be sure of who our god is john 6 68 6 and 68 says it like this then simon peter answered him lord to whom shall we go thou hast the words of eternal life and we believe and are sure that thou art that christ the son of the living god peter didn't understand this sermon that was being preached please understand me peter is not he's not the the most enlightened one no but he knew that if i move away from you i do not have eternal life i know if i move away from where god has told me to be i'm only going to go back to my nonsense i'm going to go back into sin i'm going to go back into confusion but he knew it does not matter if i didn't like that sermon today if the praise and worship team was dry i don't like the way they play the drums it does not matter if god told you to be somewhere you do not move from where god has called you so saints of god my question are not of them who draw back i need us to declare that with me but we are not of them who draw back unto perdition but of them that believe to the saving of the soul we need believers that will go against what everyone in the world is doing you want to backslide praise god but me and my family we're going to the house of god you don't want to go to prayer okay cool but me and my family we believe that god is our only source you don't want a tithe okay but we believe that god is our provider and we're going to give to him you don't want to attend church okay but i'm going to go to the there is nothing else for me there is nothing that i'm missing we have to go against what everyone else is doing it's cool to back away from church now like bishop is saying i know some of you may get tired of hearing it but every time you go to the grocery store it's packed every time i go to the gym is packed every time i look at a sports game the stadium is full you're rubbing shoulders with people you've never met before filled but no one is worried about covid they just had some event i think it's a met gala i'm not sure what it's called but some event where rich people just went to no one is in mask not one at least the pictures i saw you know but no one was in mass but they were having a grand time but the saints of god were supposed to sit home worried that's not that's not the way the scripture does it in the scriptures is the same way we're going to do it now we're going to gather in the house of god we're going to believe that even if something happens our god is our defender and we can only depend on him because you can stay home and still die but i'm gonna go to the house of god my family is gonna believe this truth my family's gonna walk in the holiness of scriptures we're gonna abide by what the word of god says we cannot afford to turn back saints of god there's so many drifting and when they drift many of them are wondering well should i go back to the house of god should i go back to the house of god but as more people drift they feel okay with it but when people are rooted in the house of god they know i always have a place to return so if we stay faithful the people that have been drifting i believe that god will pull them back and we have to hold on to truth i went to a church and i don't mean to put anyone on the spot i love them but they drifted in many of the holiness standards because in their head the people weren't abiding by them anyway well the people aren't going to listen so let's just let's just try to put rules around it they change the rules on how you dress and jewelry and all kinds of things they still believe in acts 2 38 but things started going downhill because they changed the rules and the people still left the church so so many people that are arguing all want to wear my pants you can let them wear their pants they're still going to be rebellious i'm sorry for any woman not offended that was not the point of that i just i just want you to understand we cannot afford to change the doctrine for emotions it is the word of god and there is no debate on how we abide by the word of god there is no okay well i just needed to do it because no there is no i need god doesn't i need you to walk into sin and walk into rebellion and walk into the practices of this world but you can be holy you can be set apart god is able to strengthen you he's able to guide you you do not have to go back to the things of this world we have to be willing to stay with what the scriptures are saying we cannot turn back the scripture says o taste and see that the lord is good blessed is the man that trusteth in him there is nothing in this world yes it looks appealing but when you tasted and seen of the goodness of god and the grace of god and the mercy of god the delivering power of god there's nothing else that you should want to go back to in this world i'm closing you can stand i have a question for you all that jesus asked the 12 disciples that chose to remain thousands left to church 12 decided to stay my question to you all tonight is what he asks will you also go away everyone left but what are you gonna do you have family members that left you have friends that left you have loved ones that left you have all kinds of people you thought were gonna be here to the end you guys think bishop is saying this just to say it but please understand that people are going to continue drifting but what are you choosing to do now bishop just said we have to hold on it's going to get worse emotions are going to get offended even more things are going to happen to give you every reason that one promotion you've been praying for okay we'll give you that promotion you but you have to work on sundays and wednesday nights now so there we go one saint believes that you can take whatever it is because god is our provider we have to understand that many are gonna drift but will we stay and remain not just in the house of god but in the will of god because it doesn't matter what we do in this house if we go outside of church and we go right back into the things of this world will we choose to remain so i'm gonna open an altar call to anyone who may have felt i felt like they were drifting or you don't want to drift so you want to make sure that you just come up here for strength or there's a backslider that you're believing god to bring back and you want to stand in the gap for them if we could just gather at this altar and just believe god for their deliverance amen i would encourage you to come out to this altar you can think of somebody that you need to be standing in the gap for and praying for right now that the enemy is trying to take them out why don't you come down here and stand here and pray for them and call their name out before god or maybe it's just you saying god i need strength tonight amen i need strength so that i don't fall away so that i don't become a part of the great falling away that has been prophesied in scripture that the man of god is echoing tonight this has been a word from heaven amen there are many in the building who deal with the spirit of offense right now offense is trying to take you out amen but that word to john the baptist blessed is he who is not offended in me maybe there's somebody you need to forgive tonight you might need to forgive somebody right here in church maybe somebody in this church maybe the preacher amen something bishop said something i've said something some other preacher said or maybe maybe somebody in church the usher the greeter somebody offended you it could be somebody amen that hurts you amen but god says i want you to let it go now because there's a calling that i have on your life and i have wherever it is help us to forgive from the past hurt abuse lord god things that have been said and done to us things we had no control over lord god we forgive right now in the mighty name of jesus give us strength lord to let it go lord god we're not strong enough to do it by ourself we need supernatural help we need healing lord god to come from heaven lord jesus christ and to touch us lord god and to strengthen us and to help us lord god almighty you brought us so far lord jesus help us not to turn back now you've done so much in our life ebenezer hitherto you have helped us lord but father in the name of jesus we believe there's so much more that you're getting ready to do in our life lord god i pray oh god that we won't become complacent lord jesus that we won't become stagnant but instead lord jesus will strive to press forward by god toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of god in christ jesus lord god help us to know you for ourself lord god that nobody can sway us that no doctrine can sway us that we won't be like children tossed to and fro blown about by every wind of doctrine but lord jesus help us to stand firm lord god and declare that there is only one god whose name is jesus it was to declare there's only one way of salvation acts 2 38 help us to declare is still holiness or hell help us to hold fast to the pattern that lord god you have given to us that will go neither to the left or to the right father have your way in this church oh god restore the backslider bring them back to the house of god lord jesus christ bring them lord god to a place of repentance bring them to this altar lord god reconcile them to your will empty your purpose cover us under your blood i pray i thank you lord jesus for deliverance from demonic forces lord testimony right here amen this is an interesting testimony bishop mother said that she came when brother robinette was here and just like how that preacher got healed of cancer she said she couldn't really use her right hand so she's worried about that right and couldn't use it couldn't even change anything couldn't work with it and suffered with it for a long time quietly and didn't tell anybody and she says when brother robinette came to preach she was worried and she said she said because she's always worried when he comes because she thinks oh lord the service is going to turn and they're going to ask for a big offering and i can't give a big offering tonight and she said i'm so worried that it's gonna be offering time but then it became healing time and she said she believed god for a healing and now our hand is working amen and she received the healing somebody ought to give god the praise how many believe that our god is a healer i believe there's more miracle signs and wonders that are getting ready to come to the house of god so as you're going tonight amen i want you to remember those cards i want you to give out those cards to as many people as you can bring somebody to the house of the lord on sunday morning it's a friends and family day invite everybody on your job invite the people in your neighborhood amen put somebody in your car bring them to the house of god let's see what god will do amen we're also launching a church somebody give god the glory that the spanish church in town and country is going to be launched this sunday at three o'clock amen iglesia
