give us strength oh god you're the one that redeemeth god you're the one that provided hope oh god and increasing in faith god you're the one lord god that poured out lord god your blessings oh god we come lord god to send up the praises oh god even lord god in the dark times for we know lord god that all things will work together god for good god to those that love god your church lord god has been built upon a rock oh god in the case of hell shall not prevail oh god against the powerful and all-knowing and all-splendid name of jesus your name has power oh god and that power of god shall not diminish or god shall not be distinguished god you are the commander-in-chief oh god you're the captain of the house oh god and the commander of the greatest army oh god father we can never see lord and we know god that they are deployed oh god that working on your behalf lord even as you speak you are the winner oh god father you're the one look god with the creative mind lord you're the one oh lord that can pour out oh god fall upon your people oh god father i love oh god for that we can never understand we come to bless the wonderful name of jesus we come to count the blessings of our god oh lord for that too numerable oh god for us to count oh god to name them one by one god you've lifted us up of the mind okay oh god you're planted our feet upon a rock god you've given us a the lord god you are holy you are righteous oh god you are merciful you are the prince of peace you are the great physician and you are the redeemer and lord you are the friend lord that sticker closer than the brother you were the comforter oh god father when we needed it you are the counselor oh god yes you are oh lord we know lord god that you are the answer oh god to every problem and you provide a solution oh god when we need this one oh god you are our eyes when we need to see oh god and our ears but we need to hear and we come to bless the wonderful name of jesus we come to lift up the name of jesus in this place god the enemy has no power god but it comes to you oh lord god have you come god above before the greatest power oh god that our minds would ever know god and that is you lord we come to work join with the angels and worship lord god together with them father for they know nothing else save the powerful name of jesus oh god for your victories oh god are marked in heaven lord and your victories shall be marked in the earth god but at the final analysis oh god you win oh god and you are building a kingdom god that man's hands oh god have no hold of oh lord and we know lord that when thy kingdom come oh god it shall be the greatest thing god that descendeth upon the earth oh god and i shall see you and ears shall hear of the goodness of the lord you are the it was in the house of the lord that blessing could come and i'm always excited to be in the house of the lord i mean i was just talking to someone uh today and he's been saved just as long as i have been and the thing about it he's seen over the years how various things has developed but god is still the god that abraham served still the god that jacob knew that isaac interacted with god hasn't changed amen we may change but god doesn't change at all and i love god today more than i love him some 50 almost 57 years ago when i got saved baptized in jesus name love him because he first loved me and he's helped me and i'm always excited about church i don't know how some folk can miss church i could probably count on one hand the number of churches i've missed in those 57 years i don't miss church because god is there is not because of somebody else why i'm coming to church is because that god is there and i never know what god can do he may do this he may do a healing he may be a deliverance he may do some great things and i don't want to miss what god is doing i want to be there because on the final analysis i want to hear well done thou good and faithful servant that's what i want to hear amen and i have to strive to do that and so beloved it's good that you're here tonight i'm glad to see you who are here and i trust that you'll continue to be faithful you know sometimes things may get tough but god is still god you know jesus made a mention he said when the son of man come will he find faith on the earth there's a tendency for some of the older saints to kind of drop off don't want to come back to church but god is going to get some new folks i've looked at the rain during these days and it tells me that god is going to rain down blessing on this church and many people thousands of people are going to be safe it could very well be though that some of the older people that been around church if they're not careful they're going to miss out but i'm going to tell you [Music] heaven is not going to miss this boy i must i must make it in hallelujah when i get there i'm going to hear well done a good and faithful sir there's nothing in this world that can attract me to turn me away you know some folk can get all excited about what's in the world but nothing in here give me any kind of joy sometimes even the food that i used to enjoy i look at that food i said okay i'm good but better days are coming you know i don't i don't know what we will eat in glory i know there's some special food up there you know because there there's scriptures that talk about angels food and all of that i don't know what they eat but if they're eating maybe i'll just try it yeah i mean i'll try this piece right here and if it's good i'm good amen but i'm beloved i'm thinking about heaven every day thinking about heaven and god is going to help us to hear well done so keep on keeping on and lord will bless you we've got things that we have to do um i was talking to one minister just today in regards to the work we have to do in south florida and we're going to get it done because the lord's desires for us to do it i was not thinking about miami at all but the lord brought it up and and i said well well we'll do the best we can and i know that people are going to be safe some of the people that's been around and we're in church they probably miss out but god is going to get people to be safe and they're going to make it in and we're going to do it we're going to do the work it's going to be a lot of work but we're going to get it done and of course we have the six churches that we're planning this year and we're looking we're looking forward to some some great time you know people getting saved we're going to have a larger sanctuary god will fill out that sanctuary with new people just getting saved amen there were times past when we would get 30 people 35 people baptized in jesus name in one service because god knows how to move on people and so i'm thinking about time will come when we'll baptize a hundred people 100 people getting the holy ghost god is able to do that because time is winding down and he wants to get some people safe so you know just keep on keeping on do what you can to be faithful and let god know that you're all about him and you you've given your life to him and serve him and god will make a way there may be times you don't know what to do but god is a waymaker amen you may not know how to overcome this but god will make a way for you and beloved this is why i love god so much he's done so much for me waymaker delivered me out of accident i mean everything that i can think of god has been there and so i love him today much more than i did 50 something years ago god's been good so keep on keeping on and don't you get bogged down with all the stuff that's going on this this cove virus and all of this thing i mean the devil started it and we're gonna curse it and the devil gonna get mad and when we get to heaven we'll fix him good god almighty god bless you beloved hallelujah come on pastor praise god come on clap your hands onto the lord everybody give god the glory if you so we want to keep mother parker and her family in prayer we want god to comfort her and strengthen her amen we know that god is on our side amen and we believe god for blessing amen also just by way is free child care amen so you just bring the children drop them off and it's kind of going to be like a date night you know somebody's saying well what are we going to do it's going to be a fun time so you want to be here the food is going to be good 7 p.m is the kickoff time friday night so be at that and last announcement on the 19th so we have anniversary coming up and we have a good time and anniversary brother jerry jones going to be with us brother steve boyd going to be with us that's gonna be wonderful but the very next sunday is back to church sunday look at your neighbor say back to church sunday and that is going to be a friends and a family day all right so i want you to bring everyone to the house of the lord because we're going to be blessed our very own sister davey will be ministering on that sunday morning my my mind so you ought to bring folks out uh their lives are going to be changed that day it's going to be a a day of deliverance and salvation and healing miracles signs and wonders we're believing god to have his way amen turn into bibles to the book of acts chapter 2 and verse 37 acts chapter 2 verse 37 acts chapter 2 verse 37 and we're going to read from verse 37 to the end acts 2 verse 37 all right when you found it say amen now when they heard this they were pricked in their heart and said unto peter and to the rest of the apostles men and brethren what shall we do then peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy ghost for the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the lord our god shall call and with many other words did he testify and exhort saying save yourself from this untoward generation then they that gladly received his word were baptized and the same day they were added onto them about three thousand souls and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers and fear came upon every soul and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles and all that believed were together and had all things common and sold their possessions and goods and parted them to all men as every man had need and they continuing daily with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart praising god and having favor with all the people and the lord added to the church daily such as should be saved we're going to talk tonight about apostolic principles put your bible down for just a little bit let's just pray and ask god to help us father we thank you for your word and your spirit tonight we thank you for the precious souls that have gathered here lord god your promise that if we would gather together that you would be in our midst if we gather in your name lord jesus christ we come in your name now asking that you have your way in the midst of your people lord god we we're so grateful that you allowed us to come into your presence we believe that in your presence there is fullness of joy and at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore cover us under your blood tonight forgive us of every sin and thought word or deed everything that would hinder our relationship with you i pray lord god that it would be expelled now in the mighty name of the lord jesus christ we pray that you have your way in this sanctuary anoint us from the crown of our head to the soul of our feet draws closer to you than ever before we bind satan in the name of jesus we forbid him to operate here and loose the power of the holy ghost to take full control of this atmosphere now have your way god get the glory get the honor and get the praise in this place in the mighty name of jesus christ somebody ought to shout amen clap your hands onto the lord and shout unto god with a voice of triumph praise god the lord bless you you may be seated amen as we uh teach a little bit tonight on apostolic principles apostolic principles and when we talk about being apostolic it's very important that we define what we're talking about we are apostolic in doctrine and we are pentecostal inexperienced we're apostolic in doctrine and we're pentecostal inexperienced we're apostolic in doctrine because the new testament church is built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets jesus christ himself being the chief cornerstone in other words what we know of jesus what we know uh of life in the church we learned from the apostles someone will claim that they just follow jesus they don't follow any of the apostles and that person isn't is speaking from a place of ignorance because you would know nothing of jesus if the apostles had not written it down what what you know about jesus you learn from the apostles amen you learned either from the apostles or men that the apostles trained the entire new testament was written by apostles except for the book of mark in the book of luke luke also wrote the book of acts and these men were disciples of the apostles so every other book was written by the apostles everything you know about jesus you knew it because the apostles wrote it down in fact the bible even calls jesus our chief apostle jesus christ is the main apostle that word apostle means sent one everything that we know about jesus and everything we know about the church we learned it from the apostles and this is why we are apostolic amen this is why we say we are apostolic we are following the doctrine or the teachings of the apostles we're pentecostal because on the day of pentecost the bible says the holy ghost was poured out for the first time on all flesh in acts chapter 2 verse 1 to 4 we see the fulfillment of a prophecy from joel that god was going to pour out his spirit and when his spirit was poured out on this day of pentecost which was 50 days after passover people began to speak with tongues as the spirit gave them utterance so we believe that when the holy ghost comes amen you're going to speak with another language as the spirit of god gives the utterance and because it took place on the day of pentecost everyone that subscribes to that are called pentecostals so it is possible to be pentecostal without being apostolic y'all not hearing what i'm saying you you can be pentecostal because there are pentecostals that believe a lot of things amen but they're not necessarily all apostolic their view of the godhead is different from what the bible says their view on certain standards different from what the bible says so they're pentecostal but they're not necessarily apostolic to be apostolic pentecostal there's distinctives that are connected to us if you're going to be apostolic that means you're 100 biblical i must say it again if you're going to be apostolic that means you're 100 biblical that which we teach as apostolics is biblical the standard that we teach is biblical uh there are certain distinctives that are connected to being apostolic firstly we are absolutely oneness we are monotheistic in our perspective on god we believe that god is absolutely one deuteronomy chapter 6 and verse 4 amen the bible says hero israel the lord our god is one lord i don't want to minimize this business of being monotheistic because i believe that the business of being monotheistic is the most powerful revelation on earth the fact that we declare that jesus christ is god almighty is an earth-shattering revelation when we when we tell the world that jesus is god that is not just a statement that is designed to tickle people's ears when you say jesus is god you're immediately moving into spiritual warfare because when you say jesus is god you're saying every other thing that is claiming to god has to be torn down right now when you say jesus is god every other god has to bow down when you say jesus is god every other thing is knocked over every idol is moved out of place amen and you need to you need to boldly declare jesus is god we we we need to we need to dominate the world with this revelation that god is one and his name is jesus amen i just like saying it again praise god because i don't know amen what kind of spirit is trying to block us but i just want to say jesus is god in tampa bay jesus is god here in the state of florida jesus is god on the continent of america jesus is god globally jesus is god in this universe and beside him there is no other there is no other god but jesus jesus is god all by himself here new life tabernacle jesus our god is one god he is god all by himself has all power in his hands glory to god somebody shout jesus is god real loud make the enemy nervous tonight praise god also as we're talking about being apostolic we also believe there's one way of salvation if you remember what i read here in acts chapter 2 verse 38 if you're a believer in the death the burial and the resurrection of jesus which is the gospel then that death burial and resurrection has to be applied through acts 2 38. acts 2 38 peter preaching to people says repent which is a death to who you used to be and be baptized in the name of the lord jesus christ for the remission of sins which means if you're not baptized your sins are not removed because baptism is a type of burial so if you believe jesus died and was buried you have to be buried with him in baptism when you get baptized in jesus name and it says receive the gift of the holy ghost now the holy ghost is god almighty coming to live on the inside of you with resurrection power when the holy ghost comes in it makes you walk right it makes you act right it makes you talk right makes you live right if you got the real holy ghost you'll quit drinking liquor you got the real holy y'all y'all real quiet right there if you got the real holy ghost you'll quit smoking weed if you got the real holy ghost you won't play the lottery if you got the real holy ghost you won't sleep with anybody's wife or husband if you got the real holy ghost you'll come out of perversion you got the real holy ghost you'll quit watching pornography somebody if you have the real holy ghost he'll take you out of the club real holy ghost will make you walk away from the casino real holy ghost will make you forgive people that hurts you amen i'm talking about forgive people on your job it'll make you forgive people in your family because you can't go to heaven unless you forgive your neighbor you've got the real holy ghost it'll give you power to live above sin amen to live in holiness and to walk right and talk right and live right and be right which also leads me to the third principle of being apostolic which is holiness hebrews chapter 12 and verse 14 amen the bible says follow peace with all men and holiness without no man shall see the lord so if you're going to walk with god we've got to walk in separation from the world holiness is separation so all of these principles the oneness of god amen the way of salvation and holiness have to do with being apostolic walking the apostolic way these are apostolic foundational principles so we want to talk a little bit about apostolic principles tonight because uh we are getting ready i believe in them to move into a new dimension of revival i only got two of y'all that received it i believe that god's setting us up for a new dimension of harvest amen that for those who want to go that god wants to give us increase for somebody who's sick and tired of being sick and tired god wants to take us to the next level amen god wants to pour out his spirit on a higher level there are some of you amen that have got to begin to move in a new level of apostolic power and demonstration of the spirit amen anybody just tired of hearing about some stuff and you want to experience god using you with might and with power how many want to walk in dominion want to walk in authority want to walk in victory hallelujah how many want the spirit of god to take over the services and amen the presence of god to be so strong that it's hard to stand up hard to get up because the holy ghost comes down in the place in such a mighty way that you can cut the presence with a knife it's so thick and so real amen i don't know about you but i just don't want to come on wednesday night and just be sad to come to church i want to be so excited to come to church because you never know what god is going to do in the house of god and i wish somebody would come in the house of god not waiting for anybody to pump them up but you come in here with your own fire come in here with your own praise coming here with your own shout you ought to enter his gates with thanksgiving and his course with praise there ought to be a certain level of expectation spirit you ought to come here with your hands raised amen don't matter if the singing is off don't matter if the musician not playing right don't matter folk in your pew not acting right you ought to come in here and say you know what god been too good to me for me to sit around and be quiet and be cute and look around wait for people to make me shout the devil is a liar i'm going to shout because god made a way i'm going to give him praise because god is good i'm going to magnify him because he's worthy i wish i had about five of y'all right now amen that had your own fire that would just wave your hands and open your mouth and shout hallelujah on a wednesday night and act like a sunday morning act like it's sunday night and let's just change the atmosphere oh god i wish somebody would break out of status quo church i wish somebody would break out of the same old same old and i don't know who this is for amen for somebody tonight this is a rhema word for somebody quit letting the distractions that you're dealing with on your job and dealing within your family block you from magnifying god when you walk into the house of god your feet hit zion you ought to come in here with joy you say preacher you don't know what i'm going through well it doesn't matter what you're going through the god that we serve is greater than your problem greater than your situation and if you're apostolic you've got a right to shout you ought to get like david tonight somebody lift your hands and open your mouth and say i will bless the lord at all times and his praise shall continually pee in my mouth oh hallelujah i worry about quiet apostolics let me just tell you it's not apostolic for church to be quiet all the time did y'all hear what the preacher said i said it's not apostolic for church to be quiet all the time the bible said make a joyful noise unto the lord the implication is you're supposed to have some joy somebody said this joy that i have the world didn't give it to me and the world can't take it away is there somebody here that got some real joy that your bank account can't affect that your manager can affect that your employees can't affect does anybody have some real joy that not even your husband nor your wife can affect your kids can't steal it from you because you know your name is written in the lamb's book of life because you're apostolic because you're baptized in jesus name because you know you're on your way to heaven somebody shout hallelujah i feel like shouting in this place i mean i'm teaching but i'm shouting praise god hallelujah to god so we have to follow apostolic principles if we follow these apostolic principles if we follow the apostolic pattern amen we will achieve apostolic results if we follow apostolic principles we follow the apostolic pattern we will achieve apostolic results new life is an apostolic church we're apostolic in doctrine we're pentecostal inexperienced amen and we only want to stay that way we don't want to be anything less than being apostolic so we're going to look at these first principle that i want to talk about today is we've got to have apostolic preaching amen if you pull up that first slide for me amen we've got to have apostolic preaching acts chapter 2 uh verse 36 39 look at the way that peter preached the bible says amen he said now when they heard this they were pricked in their heart said on peter to the rest of the apostles men and brethren what shall we do and peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of jesus christ for remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy ghost for the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the lord our god shall call which means that this message that we're preaching was designed to be to everybody that's going to be saved the holy ghost is for everybody that's going to be saved doesn't matter what country you come from doesn't matter what your ethnic background is doesn't matter what demographic you are part of this doctrine here is the doctrine that is designed to save everybody amen in acts chapter eight the bible says that uh philip after the scattering of the disciples philip went down and began to preach if you look at acts 8 verse 5 the bible says then philip went down to the city of samaria and preached christ unto them amen so he was preaching the word of the lord notice their reaction in verse 12 but when they believed philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of god and the name of jesus christ they were baptized both men and women then simon himself believed also and when he was baptized he continued with philip and wondered beholding the miracles and signs which were done when the apostles which were at jerusalem heard that samaria had received the word of god they said unto them peter and john who when they were come down prayed for them that they might receive the holy ghost for as yet he was fallen upon none of them only they were baptized in the name of the lord jesus notice the same thing that took place in jerusalem is the same thing that took place in samaria they're watching the same doctrine of repentance from sin baptism in jesus name and the infilling of the holy ghost so much so that jerusalem heard what was going on in samaria and sent peter and john to pray for them and verse 16 says they hadn't received the holy ghost yet amen they were only baptized in the name of the lord jesus and verse 17 said they laid their hands on them and they received the holy ghost same doctrine in acts chapter 10 amen peter went down to cornelius's house which was a gentile in italian and began to preach the same doc doctrine and notice verse 44 while peter yet spake these words the holy ghost fell on all them which heard the word and they of the circumcision which believed were astonished as many as came with peter because that on the gentiles also was poured out the gift of the holy ghost for they heard them speak with tongues and magnify god then answered peter can any man forbid water that these should not be baptized which have received the holy ghost as well as we and he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the lord then pray they him to tarry certain days the doctrine then went from jerusalem went down to samaria and now even italians are hearing the same doctrine at the mouth of peter what the preacher preaches is extremely important the preacher has to push the same doctrine this apostolic doctrine has to be repeated all over the world we're going to preach acts 2 38 everywhere we go every city we go we're preaching the same doctrine we're telling people to repent from a sinful lifestyle to be baptized in jesus name and to be filled with the holy ghost and there is power in that doctrine to deliver people from the hand of the devil wherever this preaching goes forward somebody's about to be set free wherever this preaching shows up somebody's about to receive a healing somebody's about to receive a miracle where this preaching shows up the devil has to back up in acts chapter 19 we see that 22 years after acts chapter 2 they did not change the doctrine they preached the same doctrine the bible says it came to pass that while apollos was at corinth paul having passed through the upper coast came to ephesus and find certain disciples he asked them a question he said unto them have you received the holy ghost since you believe they said we haven't even heard whether there be any holy ghost he said unto them unto what then were you baptized they said unto john's baptism then said paul john baptized with the baptism of repentance saying unto the people that they should believe on him which should come after him that is on christ jesus when they heard this they were baptized in the name of the lord jesus same doctrine verse 6 and when paul had laid his hands upon them the holy ghost came on them and they spake with tongues and prophesied same experience same doctrine same experience apostolic pentecostal doctrine apostolic pentecostal experience every year since the time of the apostles 2021 the same doctrine is being preached and the same results are being had everywhere we preach the baptism in jesus name you can come to the water and be baptized in jesus name and all your sins can be washed away and everything the devil had against you will be canceled since that time that the holy ghost was poured out in acts chapter 2 it's too late to tell us that you can't get the holy ghost because there are people in here who have already received the baptism of the holy ghost and we already speak in tongues and if you got the holy ghost speaking in tongues i wish you would throw both your hands up and shout hallelujah because you know you have it we're going to preach the same doctrine everywhere we go amen because apostolic preaching is what's saved the next slide amen is there's got to be apostolic procreation what do i mean by apostol procreation we're preaching a message that's designed for people to be born again born of the water and of the spirit and god wants the church to grow god wants the church to grow if the church is not growing and is stagnant that means it's going in the wrong direction the church is not growing then it's dying amen i want to be a part of something that is always growing i want to be a part of something that's always making progress well i wish i had somebody that believed that i want to be a part of something that there's increased continually and i prophesy amen that there's increase coming to new life amen i said there's increase coming to new life there is birthing coming tonight praise god birthing that we don't even have room to receive right now i wish i had somebody here when we talk about a new sanctuary we're speaking prophetically because we're saying that god is going to fill this place completely with no room amen left for people to stand so i've only got one brother standing with me that believes that i said god is going to make us grow amen and god is going to make it grow whether you want it to grow or not i wish there was somebody say god you're not going to leave me behind i want to be a part of what you're doing and so it's the will of god for the church to grow somebody said it's not about the numbers well that's not necessarily true there's a whole book in the bible called numbers god seems to be very interested in numbers you can't really say it's not about the numbers it's not a true statement it's a statement that is designed to to to kind of to kind of get us off path what we need to say is amen numbers are not what we worship i want you all to hear what i'm saying amen we're not worshiping numbers we don't want numbers so that we can brag on other people at conference about how many people come to our church that's the wrong motive for numbers the wrong motive for numbers is to brag on somebody else or boast about how many numbers we have we need numbers because people are dying and going to hell we need numbers because there's 3.5 million people in tampa bay talk back to me somebody there's 20 million people in the state of florida and we're going to have to answer to god for whether we reach them with bible salvation so it is about the numbers it's about the number of souls that we can reach before time winds into eternity the bible says in acts chapter 2 verse 41 then they that gladly received his word were baptized and the same day they were added unto them about 3 000 souls they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers let me say this to the church it's not just about how many people we baptize and how many receive the holy ghost it is also about how many people stay i've only got five of you right there so so it's about evangelism and discipleship let me state this emphatically evangelism and discipleship are not mutually exclusive evangelism and discipleship are supposed to be complementary it's not one or the other it's not this or that it's this that we need both of them amen so we've got to assimilate people into the house of god amen so they can feel like they're part of what god is doing amen acts chapter 2 and verse 44 says they all believe we're together had all things common this is procreation acts chapter 4 amen and verse 4. look at what the bible says the bible says how be it many of them which heard the word believe and the number of the men were about five thousand so the first day was three thousand notice that the bible is recording numbers and then it was five thousand so now five thousand at the three thousand so now they're up to eight thousand i guess they got to a place where there was just so many people getting saved by the time we get to acts chapter five amen and about verse 14 the bible said that the believers were the more added to the lord listen multitudes both of men and women i prophesy multitudes on the new life family in the name of jesus you receive it brother price amen you're receiving sister tamika i wish i had somebody to receive it brother tony you receive it amen i said multitudes brother brother james you receive i prophesy multitudes on the new life family we can stop counting after we get to multitudes we're going to count until that time but how many want to see multitudes in the house of god how many want to see multitudes receive the baptism of the holy ghost how many want to see multitudes being baptized in jesus name how many want to see where we can't baptize everybody in this one tiny little pool that we have right here that we probably have to big a billow swimming pool outside at the next sanctuary just baptize people all day long hundreds being baptized in jesus name i believe that it can happen i'm gonna i'm gonna keep speaking it until somebody amen believes it also all god needs is somebody to have a little bit of faith that god wants to pour out his spirit upon all flesh amen acts chapter six verse one it says and in those days when the numbers of the disciples was multiplied so now they went from addition to multiplication i prophesied that we're going to move from addition to multiple thank you jesus we're we're moving from just adding to the church daily to being multiplied exponential growth in the mighty name of the lord jesus christ in acts chapter 8 amen you'll notice something interesting happened um you know it says and saul was consenting unto his death this is the death of stephen now and at that time there was great persecution against the church which was at jerusalem and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of judea and samara except the apostles and devout men carried stephen to his burial and great lamentation was made for him as for saul he made havoc of the church entering into every house and hailing men and women committed them to prison therefore they listen to this that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word so so sometimes god even allows persecution to come so that people could come out of their comfort zones so they could go spread god i only got three y'all to receive that sometimes god makes it uncomfortable for you because you're not in the will sometimes the reason why you're going through some of the stuff you're going through is god's trying to say i've got something greater for you and you need to be doing my work and so you might be busy doing what you're doing amen but god will use situations and circumstances to push you into destiny to push you into the place where you're supposed to be and you're not really going to find your destiny until you start reaching the loss with bible salvation amen every apostolic needs to be witnessing we need to be reaching people everybody needs to be a bible study teacher not just just the ministers can i just can we just unshackle the pulpit in the name of jesus and just tell you that every gift is not operating from the platform it is not the pastor's job to preach and teach every bible study amen god wants every believer to be involved in outreach to be involved in reaching the laws to be involved in telling people about jesus let me tell you something folks can argue with your doctrine but they can't argue with your testimony is there anybody in the building that god ever did anything for do i have 10 people that god brought out of something god brought you out of some craziness god filled you with the holy boy god filled you amen with the holy ghost you received deliverance from the hand of the dead is there anybody here that should have died and god protected you in that car accident god stepped in and took you up off the bed of affliction when you were sick is there anybody in here with the praise because god did something in your life and you know it was god and if it had not been for the lord who was on your side you wouldn't even be sitting in church right now well if you ain't got nothing else baby you got a testimony tell somebody about what jesus did for you tell somebody how god made a way for you tell somebody about the glory of god tell them to come to church praise god you bring them here i'll argue with them about doctrine praise god but just tell them what god is doing in your life amen because god wants to use you amen so he'll use stuff he used persecution for it to become a catalyst for growth the bible says in acts chapter 21 amen and verse 18 uh and the day following paul went in on with us unto james and all the elders were present notice how the apostles talked to each other back then and when he had saluted them he declared particularly what god had wrought among the gentiles so paul is telling james and all the apostles this is what god is doing among the gentiles amen and when they heard that they said amen praise god that's awesome and then james saying i'm not going to be undone i'm not going to be left out just because you're talking about what god's doing with the gentile jesus you see brother how many thousands of jews amen are they which believe what's going on here preachers in conference talking to each other about what god is doing and that same thing is happening right now we need to be talking about how god is filling people with the baptism and we need to celebrate glory to god when somebody gets the holy ghost did you hear what i just said if somebody gets the holy ghost somebody ought to shout hallelujah the bible says there's joy in the presence of the angels over one sinner that repents i'm feeling like i'm going to join the party with the angels if somebody gets the holy ghost somebody gets baptized i'm going to be excited for it i'm going i'm going to be glad about it a church where there is not salvation happening is a church that's going to be miserable amen it's a church that's going to have a lot of problems the next principle as i go quickly number three the third slide is apostolic prayer apostolic prayer if you notice the bible says in acts chapter 2 verse 42 that these folks were together steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and in fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers now we could have actually started with this principle primarily because prayer precedes everything first of all prayer why there would be no pentecost if prayer had not preceded that amen they were tarrying in jerusalem and during that time they were praying and seeking the face of god for the days that they were together waiting for the promise of the father amen a church that doesn't pray is a weak church a praying church will be a strong church now let me just say this that this church provides a lot of opportunity for people to pray but our flesh doesn't really want to do it i don't know if you know that your flesh doesn't want to pray who's ever knelt down to pray and fell asleep wave your hands tell the truth and shame the devil who's ever thought to yourself tell you what i'm not going to pray here i'm just going to lay here on the bed i'm going to talk to jesus right here on the bed just me come on and talk to me somebody and the next thing you know the only thing you were doing amen where you were cutting down trees big trees big trees big time snoring was going on amen because your flesh doesn't want to pray your flesh doesn't want to do anything that spiritual amen you know bishop says that when we come to pray we need to walk around in the sanctuary and pray sometime even your house i've done it else i felt the spirit of slumber trying to get on me amen i was talking to brother morgan one time he said well brother collins everybody can see vision somebody has to dream dreams and so he he felt like you know you could go ahead and amen and he said i said no so i started doing bishop said i just get up in the house sometimes just walk around amen sometimes i get on the prayer line and the spirit of slumber is trying to get you you need to stand up how many ever been on the prayer line you felt that sleep rising yeah hallelujah to god well get on get up stand up do something amen and then pray we need to pray because god wants us to pray there's opportunities to pray you can pray on the prayer line with us every day but you need to pray by yourself you need to have your own personal prayer life you need to have in fact a life of prayer you need to come to saturday morning prayer at six o'clock i was just checking i looked at the microphone to make sure it was still work i didn't tap it one more time we need to come to prayer at six o'clock we need to all come to prayer prayer is powerful anything can happen in prayer amen deliverance will come salvation will come amen you need to come to prayer before service seek the face of god before you start shouting kneel down and seek god ask god to cleanse you of everything acts chapter 4 verse 24 shows you the power of apostolic prayer acts chapter 4 verse 24 amen the bible says and when they heard that they lifted up their voice with one to god accord and said lord thou art god which had made heaven and earth and the sea and all that in them is who by the mouth of thy servant david had said why did the heathen rage and the people imagine vain things the king the earth stood up and the rulers were gathered together against the lord and against his christ they're praying this for of a truth against our holy child jesus whom thou has anointed both headword and pontius pilate with the gentiles and the people of israel were gathered together for to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done and now lord hold their threatenings and grant unto thy servants that with all boldness they may speak thy word by stretching forth thine hand to heal and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child jesus and the bible says when they had prayed the place was shaken where they were assembled together and they were all filled with the holy ghost again and they speak with the word of the word of god with boldness i wonder if we could get together and pray this prayer i only got three of y'all let's see how i'm just talking about how our flesh is i wonder what would happen to god on one accord and prayed prayers for boldness that god baptized us with a spirit of boldness that we wouldn't be intimidated we tell everybody about this apostolic doctrine and we prayed for healing to be released what would happen if we got together and did it what would happen if we saw one day we prayed here at 69 12 and i'm saying that it must happen in the name of jesus that we come together one day here at 69 12 and we get in one accord and we forget about who done like who and who's not talking to who we forgive everybody amen so we can be forgiven get ourselves right get rid of all distraction carnality out of us get that flesh out of us just just crucify self and we just get together and really begin to pray for real amen wouldn't you want the place to be shaken in the name of jesus don't you want a shaking to come in the holy ghost and don't you want us to get that boldness on that next level amen that we'll just kick down doors in the name of jesus and just walk in there with apostolic power that's what happens when people pray when apostolic prayer really begins to happen amen the fourth principle i'm going real quick because we're running out of time amen i'm even skipping a couple of scriptures apostolic power apostolic power if we pray power will be released acts chapter 2 and verse 43 acts 2 43 fear came upon every soul and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles right there in acts chapter 3 right after the holy ghost has just poured out acts 3 verse 1 it said peter and john went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer being the ninth hour and a certain lame man from his mother's womb was carried whom they had laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called beautiful to ask arms of them that entered into the temple when they saw peter and john about to go into the temple he was begging asking for some money peter looked at him and john and said look look at us they said to just look on us and he gave heath unto them because he's thinking that they're about to give him some money and peter said silver and gold have i none but such as i have give i thee in the name of jesus christ of nazareth rise up and walk they took him by the right hand and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength and he leaping up stood and walked and entered with them into the temple walking and leaping and praying god amen praise god i need somebody in this building who's sick and tired or seeing sick people come in and walk out the same way i need somebody that says i want to be the one one two three four five six seven i need some of y'all to get bold say i want to be the one to walk over to somebody glory to god god bless you brother james receive it in jesus name i want to be the one that god can use to say look on us silver and gold i might not have money to give you but such as i have give i thee in the name of jesus christ of nazareth rise up and walk and that person get up and start glorifying god who wants to be the one whose hands will lay on somebody who's blind and their eyes will be open ears who believes that that's still the heritage of the church believes that god wants to receive relief just release healing in the building who believe that god wants to make people come out of wheelchairs that they'll come in in a wheelchair my god look at that slide that they'll come in a wheelchair but god is able right here in 69 12 to raise them up out of the wheelchair and you're gonna see them hallelujah they were lame when they come in they couldn't walk but they're walking and leaping and jumping and dancing i'm jumping for them in advance you say preacher you look silly right now let me go ahead and look silly because i just believe in the holy ghost that somebody is going to be jumping hallelujah they're going to come out of a wheelchair and they're going to jump like this they're going to run like that i believe they're going to throw down their crutches i believe god almighty is going to open blind eyes god has already done healing here but what i'm saying is god is going to increase exponentially miracles signs and wonders in our myths praise god it's a preacher it sounds like you're trying to crank everybody up no i'm not trying to crank everybody up god sent me on assignment amen to get people to believe that this apostolic principle belongs to us that there's going to be cancer healed in the name of jesus christ that diabetes is going to be healed in the name of jesus christ amen that folks that have incurable diseases that they're going to bring them to this church because they heard that at this church there is a god whose name is jesus and that this jesus is healing people of all kinds of diseases of all kind of cancer men and nowhere else moffat cancer center cannot do for them what jesus can do for them come on somebody temper general cannot do for them what jesus can do for them it's going to happen in our midst apostolic power has to be released the bible says in acts chapter 5 verse 15 to 16 notice in as much as they brought forth this is what's happening in the church the stick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches that at the least the sh the shadow amen they just just the shadow of peter passing by they just wanted peter's shadow to overshadow them and they believed that healing would come and the bible said they came multitude out of the cities from jerusalem bringing sick folks people that had unclean spirits we counsel a lot of people with spirits we just need to cast out a lot of spirits and they were healed notice everyone i'm claiming that everyone healed revival revival in new life god bless you i said i'm claiming everyone healed some some doubter out there right now says pastor everybody can't be healed i rebuke the spirit of doubt in the chat i said i stand up tonight against the spirit of doubt i come against the spirit of fear i rebuke that cynical spirit that's standing in the way of the word of god tonight they're saying oh you just talking preacher it's never going to happen the devil is a liar my god is able to give us that kind of revival where everybody that comes in the building that has a sickness that they can be healed by the power of jesus christ there is power in the blood hallelujah do me a favor shake your neighbor say we need some faith just kind of just put your hand on your neighbor shoulders of faith tell them i speak faith over you in jesus name faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of god we're going to have that kind of revival where healing is going to be released thank you jesus acts chapter eight verse five to eight notice what the bible says philip went down to the city of sumer when he preached christ to them when we preach certain things are supposed to happen everyone with one accord gave heed on to the things which philip spoke hearing and seeing the miracles which he did unclean spirits crying with a loud voice came out of many that were possessed with them many taken with the pulses and that were lame we're healed wherever the gospel is preached there's going to be some signs there's going to be some miracles amen because signs follow us we're not running after signs signs follow us oh lord and there was great joy in that city i speak great joy in tampa bay glory to god i'm speaking great joy over the state of why because jesus is being lifted up and people are going to receive healing in their physical body i even believe that special miracles can happen acts chapter 19 verse 10 to 12. amen the bible says this continued for two years everyone in asia heard the word of the lord jesus christ both jews and greeks and the bible says god wrought special miracles by the hand somebody pray for special miracles right now lift your hand and say god we want special miracles in this church if god did it for paul god can do it for new life amen so that from his body were brought onto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons amen and and and diseases when they were confronted with that had to depart and devils came out of people off of a handkerchief y'all missed that see the problem is we're not thinking supernatural anymore we're so busy thinking about everything else about what the bible says that a handkerchief drop just put that on that person so just pass by can you imagine somebody got a devil that the handkerchief the devil starts screaming as soon as they see the handkerchief coming and you throw the handkerchief on that person and the bible said devils came out because of a piece of cloth where are you apostolics at why have we become so weak and anemic where is our faith where is that kind of faith that we could say well i'm just going to put something amen on the preacher hallelujah and i'm just going to go over here hallelujah come here brother lim amen run up here real quick i'm just going to put something on him i'm going to take it off of him put it on him and whatever was afflicting you in the name of jesus it's got to come off of you just like that in the name of jesus does anybody believe we can have that kind of revival does anybody even want that kind of revival is there anybody in the building that says i want to see god do it like that i feel like god almighty is challenging this church stop right here tonight i have amen to others but i'll bring them the next time i preach but can i tell you that god is telling us apostolics that we've got to get to a place of faith amen where we move in power that devil should be uncomfortable hallelujah they ought to scream when you walk down the street it ought to get to a place where the church bleeds out of the building it's not just about what we do in this building come on apostolics it's about you leaving here with a power in your spirit you believing that god can do some radical things it's time for us to believe for supernatural miracles signs and wonders your your learning alone is not going to be able to bring this revival just because you have a degree your degree is not going to get this revival amen flesh cannot get this revival we need to believe that god wants to do some supernatural things in 2021 i believe amen sister nelka that over at the university of tampa campus since they got some devils amen that might be around there that when you're over there amen the power of the holy ghost should be so strong hallelujah that spirits begin to run off of that place and amen people begin to wonder what is it about you that makes you different i don't know where you work i believe there ought to be such an anointing on your life that when you step on your job they ought to say there's something about you what is it about you tell them it's because i've been washed in the blood because i've been sanctified by the spirit people need to come to you now and say could you pray for me because i'm dealing with something in the family and right in the lunchroom y'all ain't saying nothing or because you know it's gonna make too much noise bring them out to the car sit in the car and say lift your hands in the name of jesus and lay hands on them and god is going to fill them with the baptism of the holy ghost i believe every devil has got to flee because of the holy ghost power that's on you somebody needs to get up tonight i said god if you can use anything i want you to use me jesus if you can use anything lord don't let this miracle pass me by hallelujah and i don't know i don't know what that was a while ago but i just felt amen brother lim when i did this back up here soldier when i did this a while ago and i did this a while ago i felt like there's some spiritual impartation that's happening in the building right now i feel like god's getting ready to give something to somebody's faith somebody that got faith tonight if you're tired of the status quo i challenge you to get up out of where you are and say preacher amen i'm not gonna miss this are you that god wants to use me in the miraculous i'm saying that god wants to use somebody in some crazy miracles i'm saying that god wants to do something that's not normal i'm saying that we need to believe that something is transferring in the spirit that god almighty wants to use somebody to turn the world down can't you see the people at your job receiving the baptism of the holy ghost can't you see something radical taking place at the next potluck can't you see something happening in your community and in your family because apostolic power is being released i'm talking about raw power i'm talking about holy ghost power i'm talking about life-saving power i'm talking about healing i'm talking about deliverance i'm talking about salvation if you want it you can have it the bible said these signs shall follow them that believe in my name they shall cast out devils they shall speak with new tongues if they drink any deadly thing it will not hurt them hallelujah they'll take up serpents they'll lay hands on the sick and they will recover apostolics why are we living beneath our
