Don't Trust Desert Sand, Toyota Rolls Hard Off The Trail!

so we got a call for a razor that is stuck on the trail called double sammy we got ed here with the weather it's a little bit windy today but clear sky gonna get up to 70 degrees nice day go find him and go get him out casey's gonna be swinging the camera for us today this guy is so helpful i don't know about all that [Music] so the customer that we're gonna go get this is probably like the eighth time that we've rescued them he's a really nice gentleman that is out trying to stay active and sometimes he gets in trouble and when that happens we come out and get him out of trouble [Music] so it looks like some jeep guys found him and rescued him but he's still down in here we're gonna make sure he makes it out and if nothing else we're gonna do a little wheeling hello it's pretty rough down there i'd rather bring you out this way would you yeah because that's just good sand right there okay and the keys in it the keys in it okay i'm gonna go bring it up here okay a little known fact is that matt is such a good off-road recovery expert that half the time he just goes and does one foot right there right here i think right here looks like well there's one over there and there's also this right here kind of let's try this one okay so the customer says he's lost his gas cap so i guess that means we shouldn't roll it that would be most ideal [Music] so [Applause] [Music] [Applause] for an update we are following his tire tracks out to make sure he made it because he went out way faster than we can well what do you think of that ed oh that was great kind of a different place really rocky uh one way in one way out so we got a call for a toyota sequoia near the babylon mills they said they were stuck in a ditch and just needed help getting out we got calling with the weather it's a beautiful clear sunny day it's about 1 55 let's go get them out let's go get them out [Music] hi this is rudy with matt's off road recovery um i was informed that you needed a winch out yeah it's probably any more than a winch it's kind of it's gotten worse i got kind of in a ditch and the sand is it just kept settling and settling and settling and it's on its side now on its side i just got off the phone with the customer and he said that it's now on its side so maybe not rolled all the way over but he says the windshield is smashed in and glass is broken so we're a little light on our crew right now but i'm sure we could get the job done [Music] so it was up here and then then it still gave way i guess yeah i was coming down this way and just past that rock it turned into straight sand so i thought well crap i don't i don't think i'm gonna get back up okay so i hope to come down forward and come up over that hump right there and just start sliding overall it actually doesn't look cold i hope uh that's that's my hope try something [Music] [Music] so now what my plan is i've got a rope put to the front i want to pull this front end around and up and get it pointed up hill and then so i'll back up slowly with the more of air to get this rope tight and i'll let the winch out slowly but i won't let it roll back over [Music] all right [Music] all right [Music] i'm sure there's there's a hundred different ways to do this recovery this is how i'm doing this one with what we have all right [Music] but it's not going over no so keep your tires turned this way but i want you to follow the winch out okay and does your horn work okay when things are going crappy [Music] so the winch needs a break there we go did that back corner touch i don't think it did it swung around pretty pretty nice beautiful [Music] and then give it a little bit [Music] [Music] okay let me get you unhooked and then i'll get out of your way [Music] [Music] go forward [Music] it's lower on oil than i or the customer would like it to be so we're just going to tow it out to the road and he's got a buddy that will bring him some oil other than that everything seems to be fine it wasn't on its side for too long so that's a plus [Music] beautiful hey okay not too fast now we don't got power steering [Music] [Music] what's the shirt do you want you guys got a shirt yeah the media awesome thank you you guys are awesome yeah thank you so that job was way more difficult than i thought it was gonna be for one i didn't know it was rolled over before i got there it pulled right up on the bank we got it out on their way i sent them to maverick to pick up some oil so that they could drive home they shouldn't have any issues they only smashed in the windshield and there was a slight dent in the roof but other than that it was sound what do you have to say about it colin um yeah got him out pretty quick and thanks for watching so we came in on east side we went down to the south side came back up to the north side and now we're headed out the west side right now we've made a check mark pattern or uh no what's that one pattern called it's for math it's got a v and then it comes up square root oh yeah that's what it is
