D&D players after 100 hours in Tears of the Kingdom

I'm gonna break the window they've got shatters as you stare out into the expanse of the field of the Dead the skeletons are still on your tail can we go down you're like 10 stories up but there is a ladder that goes down all right Jacob and I will hold them off while you guys go down and I jump off uh what I cast featherfall okay well now you're slowly gliding to the ground hang on and then I cast gust of wind to shoot myself forward yeah that works well that's two leveled spells in a turn uh well you can't cast two leveled spells that are an action and a bonus action featherfall is a reaction that's really cool I mean if you all jump we can all do it really I'm jumping yeah okay okay give me the beholder eye all right and the Frog we just caught this doesn't seem ethical and I cook them oh my God that is not gonna do what you could make an Elixir potion potion of what [Music] temporary hit points maybe I could be fast or glow for the depth the under dark are you throwing a Beholder eye and a live frog into a frying pan right now yay [Music] oh all right give me the other eye I'll put it on an arrow getting to the top of the peaks of flame is going to take like five days that's fine we have the rations for it let's just be stealthy yeah then it's gonna take us five days well I am just trying to help speed is the priority getting there is the priority we're pretty strong I think we could take a few encounters yeah I just don't want to die or lose any party members of those mountains what is there a board maybe of the wooden variety nearby uh yeah sure why how much does it weigh oh God we'll be fine it'll Jacob what are you doing you watch has your fellow party member piloting a wooden board a sentence up the mountain how telekinesis so long as it isn't more than a thousand pounds I could fly with it for like 10 minutes this board's only 30 pounds everybody hop on why didn't you just cast fly shut up and as you all fly this board up the mountain over the course of 10 minutes it does cut down an entire day of traffic that's awesome uh the door is locked yeah I have no idea how to get out of here anymore let's just go the way we came we can't go the way we came because it caved in because Jacob decided to Shield jump and cast Fireball at the same time right if I wouldn't have rolled a five it would have worked is that what your character says no my character says hey let's just keep trying doors until we find a way out of here unless we can phase through walls somehow uh pretty sure the only way out is going to be there's some door that we have in Jacob honestly if you've got something no I've thought about this one he can't I'm Gonna Catch Milton to Stone how do you have like every spell this is dumb then as I enter the ceiling I can't move but I can cast spells so I'm gonna cast freedom of movement on myself and then I'm gonna that be restrained by the stone and swim up until that okay that's not gonna work why not meld into stone doesn't specify that you're restrained it just specifies that you cannot move but I'm not affected by difficult terrain it's not difficult to rain the spell just says you can't fine I just cast past wall on the ceiling okay cool yeah all right this whole in the ceiling yay that Thunder Wave deals 43 damage it's the dragon takes a blast the face but if his teeth go flying out he's mortal yes we're so close but at the end of your turn he is going to take his legendary action he's gonna attack you with his tail that's a crit okay I've got five hit points I am out ah we're all unconscious except for Jacob all right Jacob it's your turn yeah come on you got this I've only got a second level slot what uh dang sorry guys I didn't think it would be this hard wait you said his teeth fell out yeah I'm gonna run over to one oh take out my sovereign glue right and I'll attach it to my sword hilt that's great and all but Sovereign glue takes a minute to set no okay then I'll use my last slot I'll cast heat metal on the hilt to make it malleable and I'll attach the tooth then it's a red dragon right it's immuneifier damage it should be fine it'll hold up yeah but you're holding the sword still you're gonna take damage that's fine two 10 damage straight to the hand I've seen that's an action that's the end of your turn action surge I'm gonna run I'm gonna jump I'm gonna stab into the dragon with a weapon made of his own tooth this is so cool you don't even have to roll as you jump through the air with your newly fused weapon it perfectly pierces right through his armor into his head and stabbing into him suddenly goes limp for a moment His Eye Is brighten up until he falls to the ground [Music] but as he does the ground begins to shake and then crack and then shatter pieces begin falling into an enormous Abyss underneath you seemingly the dragon's power that was holding this entire layer in place is now completely falling apart dexterity just to see how fast you can do this but with disadvantage because of your now newly burned arm 10 you grab your Bard and Paladin you bring them over to safety and shove them but as you turn around floor shatters you'll watch as your wizard ascends into the darkness I jump after them even at that and with your arm completely burned off you jump into the darkness descending down reaching after them no no we've been more than friends for a while sword protect you well that's where we're gonna end tonight's game
