what's up my name is rich welcome back to another video in this video right here i'm going to show you guys how to use alibaba.com to source items for your cloning brand something like this custom bomber jacket right here reversible custom tag all of that so let's not waste any time get straight into it let's hop into the computer alright so here i am on alibaba.com um first and foremost right now it is the march expo so if you do want to source other items other than clothing they get all kinds of other great things this is a live event if you click on it um pretty much you'll see the top trending items on a live show format so right here on the right side is showing the item that they're showcasing this is going on live all month long that's pretty crazy talk about qvc style uh live 24 7 throughout march that's pretty crazy but they also have apparel as well so if you stay watching eventually you'll see something like this on on their live show so even check this out right here this is a tie-dye type of uh workout apparel um it's pretty neat i think some of you all may dig this as well tie-dye is quite in and as you can see well it's kind of hard to see but this shirt itself right here is like a black and gray uh type of tie-dye so um we'll look more into that but for now let's go back to alibaba.com and now check this out the march expo also includes free shipping for new buyers fast dispatch within seven days and guaranteed on-time delivery so i'm gonna click view more record i'm gonna show you guys a little more about this because this is going on right now uh this is the march expo there's over a million new products on here it's over four 000 live stream events so the same way you saw that qvc style videos there's 4 000 different events going on this month not only that products with like a thousand dollars or more enjoy shipping discounts up to 100 but most importantly i want to show you this this is the march expo trend hunter so i'm gonna post a link of this down below um not only does it show you like fashion romantic dresses is number one so for all the ladies who has a clothing brand uh mostly in regards to women and this is catered more towards like a batik style but you could possibly click on it you know and reach out to the supplier like i'm going to show you in a second reach out to the supplier and see if you can even get your own name brand on it if you wanted to but this is you know how a lot of boutiques operate is by shopping on places like this so check this out this is number one in trend hunter and now i click on it we got like a bubble coat this camping jacket all kinds of stuff a little bubble puffer jacket those are very popular you can definitely get your name brand on it as well the same way i'm about to show you with the bomber jackets but if you've been following me for a long time you know i need to do a whole bunch of amazon content and a lot of this stuff is like you know private label type items if you're into beauty and you want to get into the eyelash game you can reach out to these companies get your own logo on here a whole lot of things of that nature so make sure you check this out and these are the trending items that are selling and that doesn't just mean people are buying it on here it's popular because people are buying it and people are able to resell it so make sure you check and now let's go ahead and click on the search and type in custom bomber jacket all right so now what i like to usually do is look for the exact style that i am interested in or at least as close as possible right so um right here we're almost getting to it this is pretty interesting right here right here it's just showing a picture of a sleeve we can click on this see if we can see more items this right here is pretty neat as well bubble coats those are in but we are in march i live in georgia weather is pretty unpredictable here so no telling on that um this is pretty similar to what i would like if anything this is pretty neat i like this right here um it's pretty much as simple as clicking on there contacting the supplier and saying hey instead of those little nasa logos can i do my own logo even this little strip right here add your own text that would be neat that's a cool little back piece i didn't even think about for a bomber jacket um right here we have the lightweight baseball style jackets if you've ever touched this in person you know it's a lot lighter than a bomber jacket so let me go ahead and take a look so this right here is pretty close to what i'm looking for so i'm gonna go ahead and click on it alright so they have a video that's advertising their product right here and that gives us a better idea of how it feels how it looks and things of that nature so now i'm gonna go ahead and look at some other photos alright so um we could just go ahead and order these in blanks if we wanted to they have the size medium size large extra large all of these available for around 11.26 so that is mad cheap for a bomber jacket um so you can order that and bring it into the us and then get it embroidered yourself or if you notice right here it says custom so what i typically do is contact the supplier and tell them exactly what i want but before we do that check out these prices uh for the most part these are typically prices for these blanks so 11.26 you're looking at 2 to 49 pieces if you order more than that you get a little bit of a price cut more than 300 pieces you're saving about two bucks per unit or so so if you're doing large numbers and sales this may help but to begin with you know we want to stick within like that two to forty nine and let's go ahead and scroll down trade assurance is important especially if it's your first time using alibaba i typically like to pay for this especially whenever dealing with a new seller so speaking of seller this is their company right here this is the company that you're dealing with alibaba is similar to any other marketplace it pretty much consists of items sold by different companies or different manufacturers so this actual manufacturer right here is selling this bomber jacket we can click on it before we click on it you can see they have a response time less than 13 hours 87.4 on time delivery that's not too bad i'm gonna click on their profile now check it out they make all these other types of items as well this is pretty interesting this uh street wear cross t-shirt this right here looks pretty good i like the style of this a lot of these items for me need some customization but check out his jacket you're not gonna be able to find something like that as a blank in the states but of course you can always click view more take a look around these are products with videos so you can get a much better idea of the feel and look of that actual piece of item so anyways back to our bomber jacket right here it says customized logo minimum order of 200 pieces sometimes 200 pieces if you're ordering that much and it's a customized logo um price is still actually going to be pretty close to what it says right here even though this is like you just ordering the blanks and whatnot but you have to contact them and see what they say however a little over 200 is a little too much for me to begin with so what i would do is i just push this to the side or i still message them and ask them if we can lower the minimum for a bit because it's our first time ordering and sometimes they let that happen so anyways i'm just gonna back up real quick see if there's somebody else that we can use this right here is pretty dope i'm gonna open that up on the side as you can see i can get lost sometimes on here because there's a lot of stuff that i would like to get customized all right here's another bomber jacket and as you can see in this video right here they're individually clear poly bagged wrapped um that's how they usually come that's pretty standard whenever you're ordering but check out the reviews not too great right here but it's only one review so you can't really depend on it too much we can click on it quality doesn't look too bad to me in the image it says jackets are too thin but then right here you get a 5 star rating so you really do got to think about that but check this out they've been on here for three years and they have over 442 transactions and you already know you as a seller one bad review can't really dictate you as a seller so gotta take that into consideration as well however what i'm looking for is where it says customization doesn't really say most of the time you have to just contact them even though it doesn't say it here majority of the time you can bet 90 of the time if you contact them and ask them if you can customize it they more than likely can i have not had a time where i contacted an apparel manufacturer and asked them they can add a logo to it and said they couldn't do it because these are the manufacturers themselves they're creating the garments from scratch they're usually able to do it and although that last item did not say customizable what we can do is go back to search scroll all the way back up to the top right here says all products customization and ready to ship so we're going to click on customization and now this page right here populates we got this bomber jacket right here from this company these jackets from here these all these items are stating that they are customizable already before we even have to contact them i really like these varsity type jackets all right so i'm going to click on this one this one's already similar to the one that i wanted right and check this out minimum water 100 pieces that's not too bad when it comes to bomber jackets you usually find lower minimums when it comes to t-shirts or like lighter weight items these are heavyweight items so you do want to make your time worth it when it comes to shipping all these items at once so go ahead and check it out you got the camo here got like a blue camo so those are pretty much just examples of what you could get done but once you contact them you have to really know what you want you're going to become a fashionista in this game because you really have to understand the different weights of the fabrics you want to use the type of fabric that's going to be used the color the zipper where you want your logos if you want it embroidered if you wanted some item screen printed if you wanted the actual neck tag label uh dye sub onto the nylon because the item is nylon so you do have to understand that this will be dye subbed onto the fabric and then everything is cut and sewn so if you watch a lot of my other videos you'll start to understand like what printing process can be done on what types of garments so that is easier to talk to the supplier however if you don't understand the supplier can still walk you through this but it can be kind of confusing if you're not 100 prepared and i highly recommend you order a sample and let me go ahead and show you why all right so i have two jackets here one of these are samples and one of these i ended up ordering in bulk so this right here is the sample i try to get as detailed as possible but sometimes we still just miss certain details especially when we're talking online and not in person and sometimes there's just things you don't know that you don't know until you get it done and a lot of times whenever you order samples it can be pretty expensive to begin with but you have to understand this is a part of research and development and you can write off anyways but i highly recommend you order yourself a sample even though it can be kind of expensive especially more expensive than you ordering the items per bulk so let's say right here this item says fourteen dollars to nineteen dollars each for a custom one so nineteen dollars each for a custom one but if you're ordering a hundred units if you order just one unit as a sample it might end up costing like 60 70 bucks and you're wondering to yourself should i really be paying that much and the answer is yes because you will be saving yourself a few headaches and you're actually saving yourself money by spending a little extra to begin with and this is a part of research and development let's go ahead and take a look at this so for the most part it looks pretty good we got everything going right so for this actual camo design i didn't tell them i wanted a black and white camo design i sent them a seamless pattern document that i already had so they can work with your files so you can actually make a custom pattern jacket if you wanted to and then you have this jet tag everything looks well so far until we get to here i did not want this little pocket flap right here it didn't make any sense for me it's not functional you can't open it and then whenever you're reaching in the pocket is over here another thing is i wanted it to be reverse black so whenever you flip it inside out you can still use it but the tag ended up being in the way for me whenever i wear it reversed i really don't want this to be showing i still just want it to be a solid black jacket so those are the issues i had and there's one other issue that i had when it came to test fitting it myself for the most part everything felt pretty good until i stand up this right here the little waistband was a little too loose for me i like for it to have a little bit of a grip on me right here at the bottom so that was really important to me so if i zip it up you can see it's still a little loose and you know it's not that bad but these are little items that will bother me as an actual brand owner but for the most part and i say for the most part a lot i liked it for the most part you got this little red embroidery right here i told them the color that i wanted right here we also have it on the inside and of course we can flip it inside out so now we have a reversible black jacket but like i said this was the sample and there was also one other thing which was my fault because i wanted to try something out and see if it still looked good on the reversible side i wanted to add still a little bit of the camo to see you know if i can still add a little bit of camo detail to the reversible side but that didn't look good at all now let's get to the final product alright so here we have the final we move this to the bottom right here on the inside we had the pockets changed that's definitely more to my liking and most importantly to me we tighten it up a little bit on the little waistband and as you can see on the inside is completely black now so in the end i think it came out pretty well but it's because we ordered a sample first it's gonna be a small a lot of minor things that can either make or break you and sometimes it might not even be sellable if you order it in bulk so this item this long sleeve right here is still sellable i'm not a huge fan of it and this is where i had an issue i didn't order a sample first but check this out i've even mentioned this in a previous video that i'm not a huge fan of it missing this little piece right here the little rib cuff and i don't have it on this long sleeve shirt but everything else came out well and i went ahead and ordered this without ordering a sample and i have about 50 of them or so so if it's your first time dealing with this platform alibaba.com it can make you some good profits but you gotta do your due diligence but you can find
