system with the employees bro were they eating more they making more money i'm saving more money that's how i'm going to go to them we quit hourly we're doing all all in all performance based so we there every day but when you get to 60 how many employees you have on the path 80 80 employees you can't sit there and watch everybody individually so we switched the performance base so basically we got these bags that the post office we got uh we got the bags that the post office give us it's only worked when you're doing you know crazy orders we got the bags that the post office give us and i was trying to figure out how can we how these speed up paying them more ain't gonna fix them right because they're gonna be the same person they was just with more money so so it's like i'm like how can we so first thing i said because i had packed for um like eight hours for the first time in like a year i'm just in there packing and i'm like you know what i'm saying i'm like what i said like what's up right right i'm like dang i you know cause i'd be like man we need to and then i was like all right how can we get it to the point where they would they they gonna um work hard and make money so i was like we're just going to pay them off how much this weigh paying about what they weigh we're going i'm going to pick for eight hours oh i'm gonna pick an hour see where the full bag weight i'm gonna weigh and i'm gonna say that's twelve dollars an hour or that's fifteen 15 an hour every time you drop one of these bags because if i can do it i'm gonna do it i'm gonna be you know going at a nice pace yeah so if you're going at my pace you can make 12 hours or 15 an hour but if you slow up you're gonna go drop down to ten but if you go faster than me you might be at 18 20. but i don't care because i my the thing is knowing what you paying for you see what i'm saying so i was like man we packed they packed it back but then it was like every after the shift they would have to weigh the bag and all that so what we did we switched it to ten dollars a bag and he did he did one bag in 32 minutes so damn you see what i'm saying you can make twenty dollars an hour it fluctuates you know what i'm saying cause you got boxes you got bags but he was moving fast as everybody ain't gonna keep that pace for eight hours straight so but at least you at least they keeping the pace and they know when they're here they coming they coming to work in line bro they ain't never came to work like be coming in 12 12 15 12. like they come in here 11. like you know we got a certain shift that started at eight the shift for this started at 12. they coming in 11 45 11 30. getting it because because it's only a certain amount of tables and we got all these employees and we we made that like the prestige like the most prestigious job in here you see what i'm saying it's like when they have 10 10 packers yeah like number 12 11 12. try to make it up here to the folders and we're doing these three dollars a box you fold you shirt phone three dollars a box at 72 shirts he did one box in 12 and 12 minutes so you can you know you can do what's that five that's you could do four you you can do four to five boxes in a hour if you're moving fast that's fifteen dollars i started our starting rate is eight dollars an hour if if you if you just do three that's probably going slow you at nine but if you do fall you at 12. just folding shirts just just how you thought of that bro you like when you when you wasting so much money and people bushing you're gonna you'll be surprised what you can think of right they're gonna come in they're gonna work there exactly i noticed that too you know what i'm saying when you're paying like hourly it's still like if you're not if i'm not ready i'm telling you you know like you know you might today right huh probably 500. yeah cause like when i first relaunched my brain i did the 5.99 like right out the door i was averaging like 100 200 orders right right off the bat and then i like in my head i'm like man if i'm doing this let me just see if i do 9.99 i'm going to 9.99 everything dropped like okay fast now i feel like yeah so i went from like 100 200 hours a day to like 30. and i went right back to 5.99 right now okay this is because it's not doing 500 right bro listen i know you don't want to hear this bro i know you don't want to hear this guilty soft style bro it ain't that far off bro you know what i'm saying like that's your brand like like i'm just you know you're gonna get that when you get that you know what i'm in like probably two years you know what i'm saying and i was like what if i just pack for an hour wait it and whatever whatever it weight i come up with a rate 12.15 whatever this is how much you gonna make per bag you know what i'm saying per like ounce or per or per pound and we was we went through that then we can't try to come up with something else then we finally said it was like all right a full bag is ten dollars he packed the bag in 30 minutes and we was like if they can go at that pace that you're going at and pack a full bag it's worth ten dollars a bag because we was getting much probably packing a full bag in an hour and a half two hours you know what i'm saying so this is how much money i was wasting and just lollygagging people talking on their phone i'm able to save money and they're able to make more money and you know what i'm saying that's how much money i was i was wasting it to the point where i'm happy they happy they making more money it's like you know what i'm saying and then we're doing we do 20 cents a box so they coming to work because and then we're like alright it's only 10 tables and we got like 60 employees so you want a table you got to be the first pitch so people people lining up 30 minutes 40 minutes before the shift to get their tables now opposed to coming 30 minutes 40 minutes late to work you know what i'm saying right and making 15 20 a hour some you know it just depends it varies you know what i'm saying like sometimes you might have more boxes exactly so and they want to stay 10 hours 12 hours and work come on the weekend so they they way more hungry it's just like it's like we figured it out and now we and then with that because every box is counted because they got to get paid for it every bag is counted because they got to get paid for it so you got data so you know how much you shipped out the previous day you know how much you you know so do y'all find out like all right if you do have mess-ups how you figure out who who the actual person is it's not the people the people that the people that pick them we got pickers and we got packers the people that pick them they bring it to the table when they sign their name on the slip okay you see what i'm saying and you know like it's you know you get doc you know every time your name come up in the email saying order mishap [Music] yeah because because like now the pay rate is going to be high you know and then we're doing three dollars a box right here 40. you know what i'm saying 472 boxes in the house yeah at the pace four to five you know what i'm saying and you know coming in the pay rate was eight dollars an hour you know what i'm saying and then it was like all right you could do it you could do one box easily going slow in 20 minutes you can fold a box in 20 minutes that's three dollars a box that's nine dollars an hour that's a dollar more and you you know i'm saying you're not wasting time we getting so we say okay to make your right to make um what is it um what was the rate that we was trying to get people to do three dollars a box times twenty three thousand bucks twenty one boxes is like what they was making at eight dollars an hour or close to so now we know we got this many shirts coming in this is exactly how many people we need to fold it ain't no guessing and they know we might get it done it's like before you leave we need 21 boxes from if we got something left over you can stay until it's done you see what i'm saying so ain't motivated it's only three like we had we had some girls in here that was like i ain't messing with it you know what i'm saying because she we had like a girl like six high school girls working at a table together but they was talking and on their phone and doing this it was like when you making no money i'm like cuz y'all talking like all the money is being wasted and talking so i put her on the table with some mexicans and you know they you know what i'm saying so she had to like adjust and she's like i'm making way more like she's making 12 you know 12 an hour now from 8 to 12 but she couldn't understand it because she was sitting at the table talking and that's how much money i was wasting for the past you know what i'm saying really since i started the brand now everything is performance-based and they don't and they don't want to mess up but they don't want to lose their spot and they want to come to work on time because they don't want to lose their spot you see what i'm saying and then it's like yeah you you know it's eight dollars um ten dollars a bag but even with the ten dollars a bag you still need to be doing at least eight bags a day you see what i'm saying if you don't somebody out here won't want to come in here and do so it's like it ain't just come as you please you see what i'm saying yeah i didn't want they won't be there yeah let's go to now man i know y'all yeah bro if you watch my podcast you know since 2018 i was telling jay learn facebook ads like yeah you know what i'm saying learning facebook ads but he came and introduced me to his roommate to learn you know that said oh he know how to do it blah blah blah so first first week they run it i'm spending a thousand dollars a day we do 40 000 the first you know a day the first week oh yeah so i'm like 10 100 a day for y'all for me to make 40. you know what i'm saying but that was like the first week and then it it it went down you know what i'm saying to where we was doing like maybe 10 row ads like the first week we was doing like what was that 40 row is you know what i'm saying yeah because it just wasn't um which y'all didn't have new customers more you just want to look alike no i don't know what the first is the first time ever running it so it's like you had you know you know what it was you know what it was i think we was kind of tricking ourselves because we was running we did like emails and we were doing we were doing multiple stuff and on top of that and it was um it was like it was like it was like the knee the first neon shirt we had neon and blue it was like it was just like a hot shirt the first time we had ran a hot shirt and whenever we do that with a new product we had we had a touch of 40 rows but you know what i'm saying like me not knowing that's my first time doing it you know the next week i went down so i'm like you know this 10 you know i'm like it's cool because i ain't know how to do it you know what i'm saying but then you know the more we you know the more and more we you know growing the brand the more money we spend so we spend three minutes a day four bands a day five bands a day so then by the time you get to eight bands a day eight hundred dollars a day a day that's twenty four thousand dollars a month you know what i'm saying so i'm like all right cool so how do i fix this situation i learn the myself put somebody on salary to do this create an agency because i go like once i understood how to work it i go looking at their ass they running the same ad i don't know if y'all doing this but they're running the same ad on facebook and instagram which is you know a lot of people do it but i'm gonna show you how to break it down they're running the same ad facebook and instagram um 18 to 65. men and women and when you segment it the person you are on facebook ain't the person you're on instagram you see what i'm saying on facebook you might be you might have on some flats you might have on pants you might be with your friends and family on instagram it's more about you it's just more about solo you know what i'm saying so you run those type of ads towards instagram and you run the facebook like ads to facebook and the same ad that you're gonna run to somebody up from new orleans to wrestling like come on we paying for hotels so we could just build a better online team like we just focused online doing the corona what yeah so literally just we want more
