Creating A City in Unreal Engine 4 [Speed Level Design] Part 1

hello guys smartpaula here welcome back to the channel today i'm going to be creating a city map using free assets in unreal engine today's video is going to be a little bit more different than my normal tutorials i'm just going to showcase kind of what i did and how i created my tropical city map so first i started out using the community ocean project which i already had a spare project had the ocean skybox already set up ready to go then i started out getting all my content into the project by migrating everything over i will be using the kit bash 3d neo city kit which i did a review on in my previous video it is still free currently so i do suggest picking it up before it's gone i will also be using the tropical jungle pack which is also free on the marketplace this month and finally i will be using some of the roads that i've modeled in blender and the kwiksel mega scans textures and assets so once i got everything in the project i started out by making my base map and enabling world composition then i created my tile landscape i basically manually created each tile and chose to sculpt everything out rather than make something in world machine and after i got the general shape of the city i decided to put some of the buildings and roads down for scale and i'm basing my city off of taipei taiwan theme where it's kind of a tropical rainforest location so i'm basing my city off of those reference images i'm going to go ahead and time lapse the footage and play some music so you guys can sit back relax and enjoy [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] do [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] you
