[Music] well I'm here folks this is Ireland County Limerick beautiful place just fantastic it's good to be here now it's very customary for Irish Americans to come back to Ireland try and find their roots that's what I'm doing I've done some research and I'm gonna go out and try and connect with my past [Music] hi what's your name patty patty don't worry it's Conan O'Brien nice to me but a toy oh yeah I'm I'm in Ireland and I'm trying to find my relatives uh-huh I don't want if you could help me maybe you know somebody that is related to me the last name is Oh Brian Brian yeah runnable Brian's in Ireland what are they up I don't know just sort of the Ireland area video yeah they ate a lot of meat and potatoes and he had a head that was kind of big first name it was like Shawn or Patrick or comb dude it was a plate that was very green crackles prone to depression and he liked liked to drink is that is any of this helping I'm gonna show you some pictures and you tell me if anybody looks familiar okay this was this right here is my with my doesn't my two great great uncles that's a farm that they um they grew nothing this is my great-great-grandmother she looked familiar at all anyone that might look like her this is my father when he was a young man his name is Auggie those ears were surgically altered later those were a bunch of my cousin's on the day that they all married each other got married to each other my brother's foster I might have at all after did this one though I'd add a few points out and bad you just cheese what should be a big uns and I would type around me but by my drinkin that Tatum get chucked up there wasn't a sentence I grew up with help set the - yes for the Randy this was my great-great-grandmother what she is a whole dead weight for whatever they can i you don't think she's pretty oh that's alright what's your name Oh O'Halloran so there's a no in front yeah that means we're related right this is good so can I borrow some money [Music] are there any O'Brien's in town there is petty Oh brain would you say he's a funny man no not really okay so maybe we're related one thing you'll discover in this country is that in just about every Irish home there's a picture of one of the Kennedys which is pretty cool this is George from the movie Airport 71 [Music] we're very privileged because the Burt Reynolds of Ireland is sitting at the end of the bar excuse me I'll be right back honestly he's tired of the mountain when waters flow oh you got to have yourself a Guinness then you have to drink tell me darling in the earth [Applause] [Music] be honest like newer stuff they made up their minds John Denver you like John Denver because I don't know so I'm wondering are there any O'Brien's in your family uh yeah I'm not very much anyway did I ever ask for potatoes french fries anything like that yes they do yes do you serve it here yes these having the chips here this is very good what do you call this chips chips all right let me tell you who I am my name is Conan O'Brien can you say that say it again say king of late-night that's right that sounds terrific I have a talk show in America I'm on television and I'm very very famous in America big star I have two shirts you have famous Irish Americans and I'm going to show them right now you want to see these this will help educate you this is Daniel Patrick Moynihan that's a famous Irish American he's a senator do you know this guy this is George Clooney you know George Clooney and then finally this is the most famous Irish American this is Shaquille O'Neal can you say Shaquille O'Neal and I took you out of the class because I think you look a lot like me and I think that one day you could be the next Conan O'Brien I'm not gonna last forever I've got another few years left in me and maybe not even that I'm clearly having a breakdown would you like to talk to celebrity Sunday and be a talk-show host you'd have to talk to it's not all easy you know people like Charo she's okay but Eartha Kitt sometimes I mean sometimes we don't get the best guess and you're out there just it's rough but you'd be okay with that yeah okay really where's the kid she's got nothing to say [Music] okay we're at the cliffs of mohr this is where O'Brien tower is located this castle kind of belongs to me doesn't it it belongs to all the guys that I'm gonna go up there right now is it really beautiful up there no spectacular it's spectacular this is the highest point I'm looking forward to this I'm gonna go up there and reclaim my heritage thank you very much brother [Music] we need it this is a brian castle this is my castle it's up here on the cliffs of moher i have no idea what my ancestors abandoned it it's it's beautiful leave this place hi how do you like my castle look welcome to my castle it's amazing I'm glad clone I can't believe in back home [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
