COMPLETING THE HARDEST ADVANCEMENT in MINECRAFT HARDCORE! (#30)

all right well let's take on this raid all right we did it [Music] i'm trying to go we got two minutes [Music] we did it oh we did it all right all right so i might have lied in that last video where i said i'd completed every achievement there is in minecraft g'day guys my name is wadzie and before this hardcore minecraft series ends i set out to complete every advancement there is in the game and today i only have two secret advancements left our ballistic and the hardest achievement of them all how did we get here where i'll have to have every status effect there is in the game all at one also graph here's a graph all right enjoy the video g'day guys my name is woodsy and welcome back to hardcore minecraft in this episode we're going to be finishing all of the achievements for real this time but of course before we can get onto doing that we gotta expand the melon foam [Music] all right and once again we've added another 200 melons to the melon farm if you want to see how big this melon farm ends up getting make sure to subscribe and with that out of the way we can finally move on to the first secret advancement we're going to be completing today all right so the first advancement we're going to be trying to complete today is going to be the arbalistic one of course because that's going to be the easier of the two um so this advancement is where you need to shoot shoot and kill five different unique mobs are with a piercing crossbow i've done some tests and i've got some ideas of how i'm going to make this work [Music] so i'm creating this little chamber in which we can uh capture five different mobs this will be the chamber lining them all up so we can easily just collateral kill them all so the five mobs we're going to be using for this advancement are skeletons zombies creepers drowned and pillagers and the idea is that i'd lure all these guys into these chambers using trap doors and they'll all be trapped and lined up perfectly since some of these guys have weapons they end up shooting some of the other mobs which stops you from getting the advancement so i've tried my best to separate them to prevent this that was not meant to happen okay we're also gonna need a creeper but not yet so with this first zombie what we're actually gonna do we're gonna drown this zombie alright so if we drown this first zombie we can actually turn it into a drowned and that'll be a different mob to a regular zombie oh there we go okay we got ourselves another zombie that is not who i want to see just a zombie thanks oh no that's not good just walk in creeper just walk in nice okay we've secured four mobs our very last mob is going to be the skeleton okay so this is literally like quite a mess but it's whatever so as you can see our contraption here we've got a straight line right through the middle i've put in these trapdoors in this redstone so i've got this mechanic in place so that when i step on the pressure plate and then release the trapdoors all drop i can quickly take my shot kill all five in a row and uh that'll be that so we need to make sure that they're all one hit so then so that when we shoot them they will die so usually if i do one axe crit they'll all be like one shot away from death i'm gonna try and do one axe crit on all these guys we'll just try it out perfect come up here that's it that's it come on yes yes yes all right we just need to hit the skeleton once with a crit axe so all we have to do now is step on this pressure plate and as soon as it the trapdoors release quickly shoot our arrow directly through and kill all the mobs in one shot let's uh let's do this this is the this should be it no i missed let's give this a try nope i killed all five it didn't give me the advancement all right wait i've got a different idea i'm gonna pull all this apart we'll start again got boats which will honestly be a lot easier to trap mobs in it took a lot of trial and error but after a while i finally landed on a good method instead of messing with redstone i decided to put the skeleton and pillager one block higher so i'd be shooting at their legs instead of their head and i wouldn't have to worry about them shooting at all let's charge one up and this should be it are you [ __ ] kidding okay so attempt four didn't go great but fifth time's the charm right if i've done this correctly this should be it three two one there we go finally finally we've got the abilistic achievement that was surprisingly painful that took a couple of hours i can't lie and with our first secret advancement ticked off the our ballistic advancement that means it's time to move on to the real challenge of this video the how did we get here advancement [Music] in case you're not aware in order to get this advancement you'll need to have 26 different status effects all at the exact same time and to quickly go over them that includes absorption bad omen blindness conduit power dolphins grace fire resistance glowing haste hero of the village hunger invisibility jump boost levitation mining fatigue nausea night vision poison regeneration resistance slow falling slowness speed strength water breathing weakness and wither i'll go over my strategy to get all of these effects at the exact same time a bit later but for now i'll show you all the preparations i had to make first [Music] no no i forgot to drink milk stupid all right so the first thing we actually have to achieve today is getting a shulker all the way to the overworld oh and this is going to be a pain all right so we need to find an end city that's pretty close to the main center end [Music] island oh that this could probably be perfect all right now we just need to land we need to make ourselves a boat and then we need to trap this shulker in a boat there we go what i have to do now is actually make a path that goes all the way back to our center island and then we're gonna have to row this guy all the way there and that's it's gonna be a pain [Music] oh my god i can actually see our island we're so close all right and there we go our path is complete and one final thing we got to prepare for before we get the shulker over here we need to limit the amount of spaces ashoka can actually uh sit on in this uh around this portal [Music] alright and from my experience this is all we need to do to force a shulker to go through the end portal into the overworld now after a long time just doing nothing but bridging over the void and preparing to get this shulker you'd think my suffering would be over by now well you're wrong because now we had to row a boat thousands of blocks through the end all while ashoka is constantly spitting at me alright the journey's begun oh god wait that's not good oh god that could have broke the boat just then if two of these shots hit like close together the boat breaks stop that i used like the bottom half of the slab because i didn't want enderman to be spawning on this and like it'd be annoying to drive past them look we're getting close to turning and once we turn we are super close [Music] perfect perfect all right home stretch [Applause] oh god that could have been it that could have been it for us yeah hit me hit me that's fine i don't care if you hit me i'm in a boat i can't float away just don't hit the boat okay why is it going psycho why is it going absolutely psycho what is going on [Applause] oh i see our island come on we're so close get me there get me there get me there i think we're gonna make it we're doing it we're getting a shulker to the overworld i have never done this before in my life this is the hardest step i'm pretty sure once we've got this shulker down the rest is pretty straightforward we did it let's uh get a park right up close oh i went through when i got out of the boat all right thank god our shulker shulker buddy's still there all right the moment of truth we just got to carefully punch this boat that it's not meant to happen there we go okay yeah it went through it went through it went through well now that i've gotten the shulker into the overworld you'd think my suffering was at least over now right well wrong again because we pretty much had to do all of that all over again since we had to move our shulker to the nearest ocean so after building another bridge and laying down some rails all the way to the ocean we were finally about to be done with this shulker oh my god look at it go is it gonna slow down i can't even catch it so if we break the boat first okay that's that's not nice you did not have to do that this is so satisfying i'm so bloody glad to have finally got a shulker in the overworld in an ocean all right so if we park the shulker right here and break this boat that shulker should teleport directly on top of that or it just won't teleport at all that makes sense as well now we just need to come in here a few blocks so now that we've finally got our shulker box all the way out here in the middle of the ocean now we need to start on working on everything we need to do to get the rest of the potion effects so the first effects we're gonna get are all going to be using beacons and i'm gonna actually have to snag up all of our beacons here i'm gonna need five beacons i'm not gonna touch the netherright one because then we'll need another netherright ingot to power it and i'm too lazy to ever mine the ancient debris again so i'm gonna take these four beacons and this beacon over here so to save myself from having to use more potions i'm going to just build enough beacons so i get every single effect i can from beacons that'll be one and there's a way to actually build this to save a lot of blocks for example if i put these blocks here across here and also here and here i can then place my beacons here here here and here and uh yeah that'll be perfect now i can get every single effect so that is our first six status effects uh next we're gonna need to um get some dolphins and actually bring some dolphins over here i'm honestly too lazy to give my dolphins proper names so it's going to be one and two i have had to put so much thought into like the planning and preparation to get this achievement done i can't be bothered putting any thought into naming my dolphins please come here there we go got one with the lead i'm swimming too fast two with the lead perfect i just need to bring these guys over here with me all right now for the name tags there you go number two and number one the reason i got two dolphins is just to help and make sure it gives us i guess a greater chance of getting the effect when there's two dolphins compared to just just one all right and next up is a conduit and surprising enough i've never actually built a conduit but we have the perfect amount of nautilus shells and i'm so glad because i didn't want to have to go ahead and go trying to find some nautilus shells all right here it is the first conduit i will have ever built now if i place this here oh it works let's go now it doesn't need to be a full conduit but just for the sake of this being my first ever conduit let's make it fully powered all right so here's what we're missing we're gonna have to go get a dispenser and some spectral arrows to put here to give us the glowing effect and we're gonna need to get a wither rose and i guess we could make some walls we've now installed our dispenser with our spectral arrows and we just need to place a dirt and a wither rose and then yeah we get withered by that so now that we had built everything we had to build the final preparation would be collecting and crafting everything we'd have to consume to get the final potion effects all right so there's seven potions that we need to make fire resistance our visibility's done our night vision is done all right our slow falling is done now all right our slowness is done all right our water breathing is finished and our final potion will be our weakness potion now that is finally finished and now the last few things we need to make is just a few edible things another thing is puffer fish and the last thing which is kind of interesting is to make the potion effect blindness you actually need to craft a suspicious stew using some azure bluet so now i've crafted crafted four of those boom blindness now we had everything in place to get every status effect all at one single time let's quickly go over the game plan to begin with i'll have to complete a raid to get the hero of the village effect from here i'll fly to the nearest ocean monument to get mining fatigue but this will only last for five minutes so now it's a race against the clock we'll have to fly back and once again get the bad omen effect and from here we're actually almost done i'll have to quickly return to my platform and make sure i'm hungry enough to eat all the items we need to eat as soon as i'm hungry enough it's go time i'll splash all seven potions on me and immediately eat a golden apple to get absorption these effects all last for quite a while so there's no real rush yet then i'll drop down in front of my shulker and wait for it to hit me giving me the levitation effect immediately after i'll eat a puffer fish which will give me poison nausea and hunger and i'll activate the dispenser to get glowing from a spectral arrow then i'll drop under the trapdoors into the water where i should pick up dolphins grace and i should also receive conduit power and as quickly as possible i'll eat the suspicious stew to get blindness while swimming towards the weather rose to get the wither effect and then of course with the six beacon effects as well we should then have 26 status effects at the exact same time and we'd have completed the how did we get here advancement i literally practiced this for nearly two hours in a creative world so right now i felt more than ready to do it for real but oh boy was i nervous [Music] it's now finally time for us to make our first attempt so let's let's do it there's a lot of these dudes but where is my uh no really where's the leader at why is there so many of you but look how many of these guys there is and there's not one with a banner there we go we've got the bad omen all right well let's take on this raid [Music] scumbag oh we gotta take out that ravager oh no vex that dude's spawning vex take him out yep nice poor villager he's gone take the villager two raiders remaining is this gonna be the final round [Music] that's it so we've got hero of the village now which lasts for a long time so there's no real rush here but our next task i think is going to be to get uh our mining fatigue and then it'll be a rush to get bad omen and from there it'll be show time oh we need to get hungry too i gotta remember to get hungry all right come on give us that money fatigue all right now it's a race against the clock we got five minutes to go get bad omen and then we need to get hungry enough so we can eat all of our items all right come on we need to see a banana dude quick smile yeah i see a banana dude up there we need to get hungry as well so it hit me a couple times maybe that's good we're getting hungry okay that might do that might do how much time we got we got two minutes thirty two minutes thirty all right we need to get one of every food and then we need one of every potion and then we need to just get hungrier we need to be missing three and a half i think we only have a minute 30 left please we need to lose more come on come on okay we got a minute minute 15 we only need to lose half half of the hunger thing we might even be able to do it now but i'm i'm not i don't want to take the chance we got a minute we got a minute come on just lose half half a hunger okay that's it all right let's swim make sure the dolphins are happy with us okay uh this is it this is it potions potions potions potions golden apple okay no need to rush we just need to make sure we get this bit right no rush just shoot me okay go go go go we did it oh we did it oh thank lord thank the lord we have one of every single potion effect oh you have no idea how good this this feels this has been like two days of effort all the preparations with the shulkers and doing the research on how to actually do the achievement i can't believe we're finally done i'm so happy i'm so happy and just like that we have now completed the arbalistic advancement and the how did we get here advancement in this video we have done it we've finished minecraft we've finished hardcore minecraft and we'd finally completed what we set out to do so so long ago and got every advancement there is in hardcore minecraft including all the secret advancements but this doesn't mean the series is over yet
