Combining 10,000 Orbeez into One Giant One

in today's video we're going to try and fill a few exercise balls with water and maybe one full of orbeez [Music] [Applause] you don't normally see these outside well i mean sometimes but a lot of the time they are used for office chairs nowadays i remember we got some of these when i was like five for a family reunion i think and we just had a great time kicking around outside and that was fun and most recently i've seen them used as chairs they're supposed to be good for your core or something yeah core balance but today we want to try filling them with water instead of air we've got a couple different sizes i think this is an 18 inch this is supposed to be a 30 but it's not inflated all the way it's at about 24 right now and we we want to film with water here's the basic idea a lot of people have played with an exercise ball at one time or another maybe you even have them in your office but today we want to try something different and use water instead of air to fill them up how much will it weigh and what's it going to be like to play with it do you have any ideas of what you think is going to happen here i think that we're going to end up with like a half dome shape i think the weight of the water is going to smush it down to the point where it's not really a ball anymore but i still want to try filling it and then after filling it i want to try just playing with it seeing what it's like to kick it roll i want to push one down the stairs oh my gosh yes and then i think we'll fill in with orbeez as well okay well i want to see if we can just keep adding water until it bursts we did one with air we filled it until it burst that was fine i'm gonna try it with water and then i want to fill in with water and maybe pop it deliberately and then we'll have the orbeez one hopefully as well and we'll also pop that probably you know i want to see a slow-motion orbeez ball like an egg yeah an egg full of orbeez yeah barbie's egg orbeez classic orbeez eggs dude perfect i think got a world record an official world record for longest distance traveled just rolling from one exercise ball to the next wow we don't have you know 70 or however many of them they had to try that but it is kind of fun to just travel on a little ah i think it's better just one person does it so that doesn't happen okay we want it about the same size as it was before and we can go a little beyond these things are pretty tough and i think we we easily doubled the volume of the one that we filled with air until it burst so yeah yeah try and let out as much air as you can that might still be in there okay i'm gonna fill the bigger one up now it's probably gonna take longer i think we calculated this one is about three times the volume of that one okay so probably take three times as long all right let's see okay well hang on so it rolls well enough yes it does if i have something to hold on to can i pick it up yes yes i can nailed it oh that's a lovely blob all over [Music] all right we are going to roll this three two one smack i like how well that took out the gopro yes cal wanted to see if you can carry this up the stairs like we know you can but the size thing is funny there you go uh don't don't fall over backward and die please i'm spotting her sort of okay no okay that's okay oh yeah you can lift it up to your knees yeah it's not fair thank you see how long i could hold it for ah okay i held it for a minute oh i just ripped my pants nice good sorry kevin i don't think we can lift this one at all but we can like roll it around and stuff wet dirt yeah this is very fun the jumping seems like it's gonna work well it is i don't know how to get off roll off backwards amazing just jumping straight on it uh yeah carefully that's it's the slippery and the if it pops yes mostly slippery though it'll slide off that thing so i've got this ball and i have this funnel but that's kind of what i need to be able to get any orbeez in and i don't think this is going to go quickly but i do think it will get them in there hmm i think i've hit a clog oh that works all right i have a different idea i want to try let's go grab the foot powered air pump that this comes with well we've got orbeez going through the pump let's see if they'll go into the ball [Music] i actually started this last night and it's fun is you can actually see the texture of the orbeez through the ball at this point so they have expanded well i want to add more water in actually okay i feel like i say this a lot but this is one of the stranger things i've ever done all right do you want to go throw one off a hill i'm going to throw the green [Music] three two one we got another tripod yes oh my gosh it didn't break no it did not that thing's tough it didn't bounce much either just kind of like blew it which you know it's water that kind of makes sense this wasn't necessarily part of the experiments but i really just want to hit it with a hammer and hope it doesn't fling back in my face three two one okay let's actually put more weight behind that three two one i'm calling in backup kevin all he right got it off the ground it's indestructible i love it thank you [Music] kevin [Music] neat this hose barb doesn't really want to fit [Music] there it goes you're wrong it didn't make a loud noise [Music] that was neat also it looks like an explosion from the pattern of the water it did take a while it was probably what 20 minutes of filling yeah before it really went it's a good look thanks uh so with the orbeez one i want to be adding a lot of water okay but not let it get as full and then when it's you know 75 as full as that one was we'll pop it intentionally so we can control where it's going to split from just for the the better visual i like it nice hat thanks three two one yes that were great [Music] i don't have my mic on because i'm about to pop this and probably get wet so sorry um but yeah i'm just gonna take this knife with the blade pointed away from me i'm going to stab it into the side of this ball and see what happens yeah it's pretty straight forward i guess um ready ready three two three two one well it didn't tear itself
