Can You Beat Minecraft in a World that's ONLY Ocean?

can you be minecraft if the entire world was ocean ever since i did a series where i played minecraft but i could only breathe underwater i've always had a greater appreciation for the minecraft oceans they are far more interesting and diverse than i had first realized and it's a great place to find lots of loot fast i've always said the best place to find diamonds is in the ocean so today i challenge video uh where are we everything is ocean and our mission is to beat the game honestly i don't think this is gonna be quite as hard as it may seem i mean to begin with we can get some wood from this thing maybe all right how am i gonna do this all right quick go go faster oh god i'm gonna drown please please please i'm dying okay oh we got wood nice [Music] okay get out i'm going to run oh my god this is tough all right you know what moving on to the next shipwreck i think that one's just not working out hey how about this one this one might work all right give me okay food food comes in handy oh god i'm gonna drown again oh this is gonna hurt i'm gonna give me the chest [Music] ouch ouch okay this is not going that bad i just need a bit more wood and we'll be in a great spot the issue is i'm gonna struggle to get wood without drowning [Music] all right well we found ourselves yet another shipwreck but this one's on its side we need one that has a door inside it so we can get a little air pocket oh well i'll try and loot it anyway um oh this is not gonna work no the good stuff's buried leave me alone okay we got ourselves some more wheat for food oh get me out of here wait buried treasure this could be interesting all right so far so great i honestly i just need another shipwreck i just need a couple more bits of wood and then once i make some tools our life is gonna be a lot easier wait apparently there's buried treasure down here that's kind of nuts no way oh my god diamonds cooked fish go please don't drown oh my god i'm cutting it so close i can't believe we actually found that we've got diamonds before we've even managed to make ourselves a single tool we almost got diamonds before we even had wood there's an ocean monument over there i don't know maybe i don't want to mess with that to be honest [Music] it's turning night time and i'm noticing a lot more drowned spo wait a minute why is there just a chicken in the middle of the ocean what are you doing here how how are you here oh no that's a trident zombie we really can't mess with that dude to be honest oh god swim away swim away swim away swim away yeah he's still after me please all i want is some more wood all right for real they i need i really need to get some wood i should have got more at the start oh i'm such a oh is that a broken portal over there oh that could be interesting we should definitely head over there definitely all right we got ourselves another thing in the bob maybe i can get a golden axe from this broken portal over here and then we can mine up some wood quickly oh that's lovely let's go let's go let's go get a whole bunch of goodies from this thing didn't get an ax though but we got some golden apples and such maybe i can find a mine shaft or something and get some wood from that i mean the good thing is you don't really lose hunger at all when you're swimming which doesn't make sense but hey at least i haven't had to really eat all right let's see can we pick out the buried treasure first time again i think it's under this block right here it's always a block sticking up let's see am i right oh yeah i was right oh my god more diamonds more everything we've already got 26 iron four diamonds 11 bits of gold all before we've even made ourselves a single tool all right this this boat here is pretty shallow so i feel like i can definitely pick up some wood from this bad boy huge didn't even drown at all you are going to be an issue though all right we just need one more bit of wood go go go oh god the drone's coming and i'm about to drown ah oh my god we did it first of all we need a crafting table we need some sticks yeah now we're getting wood oh come on one more bit of wood one more one more one more nice all right now stuff's gonna get serious oh that's so much better our lives are so much better now time to make ourselves a boat and now stuff is about to get fun well well well what have we got here let's make ourselves a bucket and uh let's even try and get ourselves some flint if we can hey there we go now we've got a flint and steel for when we want to light a portal what else can we discover in this in this boat we've got more buried treasure if we really want that oh that looks interesting what can we find down here i mean we've got some lapis oh god oh gosh right cool cool we've got ourselves some gold oh my god we found some diamonds as well all right we can finally chill out for a [Music] moment all right cool we've made ourselves a portal that's fun i mean i guess we're ready to go in we've already got four iron let's just see what happens let's see what the nether's got in store for us oh god oh fun everyone's favorite biome oh god oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh oh no i'm dead i get the feeling this is going to be very annoying this stuff doesn't burn in lava right i'm pretty sure it's immune oh gosh [Music] oh i got excited it's just a bastion bastion's still kind of terrifying me i can't even lie oh god all right top secret mission you can't get up here can you if i attack this brute will i get swarmed by everything else let's find out oh yep all right let's give this a go although should i try and get up there now this is big brain oh okay there's more brutes and stuff there's a lot of loot if we can get all this this is a lot of loot okay i think all the brutes are stuck down there [Music] so all the piglets are down there i don't think they can get up here i think we're in the clear to loot this oh my god we got a diamond pickaxe all that and we didn't get a single bit of netherrite we did get a bunch of golden iron though which i'm happy about alright thank you for your generosity bastian you've been far too kind it is now time for me to leave all right well let's see if we can trade some ender pearls out of this sucker we've already got a bunch of obsidian which would be cool if we needed it but we don't well now that i have this silk touch diamond pickaxe that i got from the bastion pretty sure i can get like so so much gold from this thing because if you smelt these nether gold ores you still get gold ingots right i guess we're about to find out oh nice yeah that's perfect all right well as much as piglet trading has been nerfed i think i'm gonna continue doing it [Music] oh nice we got some more ender pearls total of nine already [Music] okay how do i give these guys over a stack of gold and not even get enough ender pearls i spent so long bartering with piglens and ended up using well over two stacks of gold and in the end i only barely got enough ender pearls we got enough enderpearls okay thank god i got another drop i honestly don't know how speedrunners put up with this but anyway with one of the most tedious processes out of the way i decided to head back to my portal since i needed some more food we're stranded in the middle of the ocean what better food source do we have other than fish this is what we're gonna have to rely on oh we got ourselves a broken portal here what sort of loot can we find here yes i mean honestly besides golden apple not much kind of have all the loot we need right now all we need is just that bloody fortress in the nether and some food of course what if instead of hunting for fish we just fished for fish six and a half hours later what was that enchanted bow please be good no power 3's not bad but it has no durability oh that's a trident zombie oh god please no not like this there you are oh god oh god two of them oh my god so many trident zombies so many why oh it's not safe it's not safe i need my boat i want my boat look how many there are how many tridents how many all right so my current plan of attack is to travel far enough away so that i can make a brand new nether portal which will spawn me away from my last one and hopefully we'll have a better chance at finding a fortress i honestly have no idea how far away i need to get and i have no idea how far away i am now but the good thing is i have 25 obsidian so i can literally just make the portal wherever i want all right you know what let's give this a shot this should definitely give us somewhere new in the nether all right brand new nether portal just in the middle of the ocean see where this this takes us okay this is definitely new don't know if this is better but it is new i'm just too good oh my god fine how am i gonna get down there there we go oh god nope you are the wrong mob thanks but no thanks oh my god diamond horse armor diamonds that's it that's what i've been looking for baby that's it that's our spawner this is where we need to be i'm just i'm a hacker i feel like a hacker [Music] oh my god how many are there up here all right we just got to take them out fast before they can overwhelm us all right honestly we only need two more blaze roads and then we're done oh god oh god oh god i'm being harassed all right we're out we're done oh there's another one down here eight all right perfect now i've been thinking about this we are very far away from our portal right now and i have enough obsidian to make another one it's not like it's not like i really need anything from my last portal so i figured let's just make a new one and just get straight back into the overworld and one final thing that i've been waiting to do since the very beginning is make myself one of these suckers an enchanting table diamonds who's gonna win who's gonna win who's gonna win who's gonna win oh my god it's eight diamonds oh that's so good oh my i just had a feeling i had a feeling [Music] oh i lost all right well anyway now we have 19 diamonds that we got to figure out what we want to do with them so i figure let's make a chest plate a diamond axe isn't really even worth it anymore so i guess we could make a diamond sword as well as some diamond boots all that's left for us to do now is to go defeat the ender dragons try and make our way to the surface and let's beat the game all right let's throw this first eye and figure out what way we got to go i feel like because everything's ocean we're surely just gonna see it you know underwater right oh we got ourselves a dolphin friend all right maybe let's try throwing another one i really don't want to in case it breaks but oh we must be kind of close wait is this just it here but am i dumb is that stone brick or gravel oh no that's oh no it is it is it's don't brick all right this is it gamers it's that time time that we beat the game oh gosh this is a lot of skeletons do i hear a slime yo that's kind of cool ah oh i'm cornered let me out let me out oh finally thank god oh wow we got four eyes in this thing that's so good uh anyway i don't have enough wool to like make a bed so we better just beat this thing without dying hey all right i don't usually use crossbows but i guess i'll just see if it's easier i don't know if they have more range over a bow or what oh damn it i ruined my good streak [Music] oh what a shot i love this thing we're doing barely any damage but geez it's fun maybe we could try using this power three bow that has a bit of durability on it oh now that's some damage good that's some good
