Can You ACTUALLY Get 1,000,000 Cookies in 100 Days?

the YouTuber a cookie God posted a video of him attempting to get 1 million cookies in 100 Minecraft days and he tried his best but being honest that attempt was abysmal he's constantly distracted waste his time on bad builds and at one point just sat there for six days I just I can't leave the challenge like this I have to prove this is possible and I told him I would so now my Integrity is on the line but I can't wait to beat him because he was so confident he promised his subscribers eat a cookie but in actuality they got whatever less than nothing is I've seen the Amish eating better than this but I also don't think cookie God realized how difficult of a challenge he set up because two wheat makes eight cookies so you need a quarter million in total which means every second you have to gather two weeks so day one I was already falling behind but if you look at our video side by side you'll notice a big difference I actually had a plan like actual paper of numbers and builds I optimized every aspect of this challenge which even took me to some nerdy website about integer patterns cookie God saunted around four I don't know what while I had looted a shipwreck for iron and a diamond chopped a bunch of wood from the village houses which is really unethical incredibly efficient then set up a day when iron farm by enxo4 so we can get tools and pistons without wasting time in caves so by the end of day one I had a village iron tools and an iron form that gets us like 200 iron an hour so what did cookie God do no way this is real so day two cookie God goes around collecting more cocoa beans and crafts four stacks of cookies which feels like a lot but it's only .02 percent of 1 million but that's cookies problem because throughout the video he tried many different methods for getting cookies which made for an interesting video but all that did was scatter his time but we are different if we want to beat this challenge we can't be in the interesting video business we have to be in the cookie business so two days in My Method already diverged from his we are going to pull all our resources into one cookie Gathering method and that is buying cookies from villagers so I built a little villager pen to start breeding them cookie God also did villagers towards the end of his run but he clearly didn't do the math his 10 villagers won't cut it you need 50 minimum and all the weakness potions and gold to cure them because if you do that they'll give you lower prices now for the villagers to breed each one needed a bed so I set up a sheep farm for the Sheep the best way to no no I am not going to optimize a sheep phone but they have a one in a thousand chance every other tick to regrow their wool no it's just a sheep pen shearing all of them every two minutes would be the most efficient God damn it day three as I was running back home from a failed slime Gathering attempt in the mangrove swamp I stopped by a jungle temple at first I wasn't a huge fan of using this world seed but this Tempo changed my mind not because of the three diamonds inside but because of the Redstone components I could steal I needed those because I planned on building a massive 58 000 Emerald an hour farm by day 10. that's also what the Slime is for and yes that is gunshots you're hearing I forgot to turn off my gun extra pack but not even a gunshot wound could stop my love of harvesting balls cookie God actually got slime for a build as well later in the video which just shows our different mindset because he took three days to gather way more slime than he needed he even acknowledged it I'm 57 slime already well that's more than enough why like why do that it's a blatant waste of time like you're collecting cookies not slime but since I'm here let's just grind some more balls hey he stole my balls Joe day four as cookie God was leaving the mines I was heading into them the only thing I needed was 128 Redstone but my luck was terrible because instead of redstone I was getting diamonds diamonds I don't need these I need Redstone why day five I gathered some more of the problematic materials these are ones that need to be planned for like bamboo or only collected a certain time like string it can only be collected at night and we need 21. Desperate Measures were taken day six I was already in the nether but only to collect quartz and yes the piglet have shotguns after removing all the materials for the farm over I started construction the designer enxo4 said it would take about 30 minutes to build but the comments they had a tougher time so I spent a few hours to practice building the farm two times wow it was supposed to be three but I got bored still though my two practices didn't stop me in the actual build killing a villager oh no oh the floor fell out underneath it to start the emerald Farm I needed a bad Omen but the nearest Pillager Outpost was 1500 blocks away which you know I hand picked this seat I made sure I had everything nearby but nope the Pillager Outpost should be a mile out not a run the farm exo4 recommends a sharpness 5 Looting 3 sweeping Edge 3 sword because without it these Vex guys could Escape which makes the farm dangerous but Ian never says it's required just risky you think you know what I'm thinking come on let's save some time so I entered with my regular diamond sword nothing showed up after the second round probably because I was too weak to kill the witches so day 15 I explored for sugarcane to craft Enchantment books which coincidentally cookie God was doing the exact same thing but my method was much better and efficient because I'm just cooler than him at this point I was worried because I'm five days behind and trying to buy a niche enchantment like Looting 3 from a villager could take all day oh never mind got it third try then I got sweeping Edge two minutes later I have no better explanation than I'm the main character then silk touch which I declined at first but realized there's a much better way to get gold with silk touch so I kept the trade well until I dunked them in lava I grew bamboo to turn into sticks which are sold to the villagers to buy the Looting and sharpness books guys I needed I needed two sweeping three books this is incredibly important to this challenge right now I gotta get more emeralds with my new sword I was finally able to commit some Mass genocide don't worry it's all for profits well until the farm randomly stopped I'll burn that bridge when we get there because that got me enough emeralds to buy our first cookies it was nice to have points on the board especially because day 20 I was behind cookie God the one thing you should know is that on day 17 his world corrupted when he recovered it he lost his inventory so he had to cheat it back in I don't bring that up to call now it's a common problem I would have done the same thing but I bring it up because after I bought the cookies the exact same thing happened to me but after fixing it okay here we go oh my gosh wait what oh my uh my inventory is here I guess that means that we're not cheaters and a cookie God is a lying lying loser wow that is like like I'm paranoid now but day 20 while cookie God was making a villager breeder I was gathering materials for a gold Farm each time we cure a villager it basically costs like one gold block so we need 50 of them in total manually mining that is not going to work once again another enxo4 design I promise this is the last one but they're great farms for how cheap they are the only difficult item was a singular turtle egg I practiced this Farm design as well but only once because of how easy it is to save on diamonds I thought of clearing the area by exploding beds I think the footage speaks for itself instead to save diamonds I'd only mine one of the layers of the farm because two is honestly Overkill it can produce a golden apple every 10 seconds it'd be faster to do only one layer and just soak up the slower race but in the actual cookie world I realized hey I have some Librarians that sell me bookshelves so I spent some cash and Enchanted a nearly perfect diamond pickaxe with soak touch never forget and once I made sure I was at the correct x and z coordinates I mined out our first and only layer note I didn't check my y coordinate because if I did I would have realized I was too low so I ended up spending the time digging two layers but only got the perks of one but even that mistake didn't slow down the build as day 22 I was running the gold Farm now what's cookie doing on day 22 harvesting carrots it only took a day to get all the gold blocks but after I dropped off the gold I was back to the Nether Again to get just a single Blaze wrong because there's already a brewing stand in the village I just needed blaze powder to brew the weakness potions those combined with the golden apples can cure zombie villagers which means they sell us cookies for one Emerald instead of three that means we only have to spend a third of the time at the emerald farm so I put mending on my sword so it wouldn't break and set up an auto clicker to run the farm for half an hour then because I cheaped out on the storage system that's a pause and craft the emerald the blocks then run it again the cookie God does make an emerald Farm to trade with villagers towards the end of his run but this is when once again he didn't do his math he built a much cheaper and simpler design that's great less wasted time but it only does 3 000 emeralds an hour but to afford 1 million cookies we need like a thousand stacks of emeralds which would take 62 days with cookie God's farm right now he's confident he's ahead of me but once I have my emeralds cookie God will crumble like a cookie that falls apart easily dang you incorrectly measured flour six days passed and as I exited the farm on day 33 cookie God committed his greatest sin which was what pushed me to make this video in the first place because cookie God built a villager breeding chamber fed them then just sat there for two days in a challenge where you have limited time why do this he didn't have to sit there just like just like please do something harvesting wheat would have been a better activity but wait for it he came back used the villagers for an iron arm then sat there for another six days for 100 iron so no matter what I do in the next six days it will be more progress than cookie guy but with the new surge in the economy I officially entered part two of the plan late stage capitalism what I had to do was get 50 villagers and turn them to zombie villagers and cure them so instead of 18 cookies for three emeralds they would sell 18 for one and I just had to make sure these prices didn't go up no matter what because if they went up even to just two emeralds for cookies I would run out of emeralds and not have enough time now villager prices are finicky but I've never seen a challenge where a price going up will ruin every plant so most people just leave it too yeah it can be kind of random but there are some obvious factors like don't murder the children villagers flipping hate that unless you dunk them in lava curing villagers from a zombie villager gives a permanent trade decrease but also if villagers observe a curing that gives a temporary decrease to them this is where I got lost on how to calculate a price those who observe the curing can gossip about it with other villagers lowering their prices as well but at an increasingly lower rate until there's no decrease how the frick am I supposed to keep track of that so I decided I wouldn't deal with that stress and I would just go for the permanent decrease since cookies are the third unlocked trade I had to level up each villager twice before I would cure them their first trades are random either being selling carrots potatoes wheat beetroot or just buying six bread obviously money isn't an issue so buying up 60 bread to level them up is much quicker than harvesting 220 carrots that just meant I'd have to cycle everyone's trade lock in those with a bread tray then do it until I had enough villagers to cure but yes to cut down on how many potions I needed I did a mass curing and it wasn't until writing that sentence looking at this footage felt a bit more wrong I found my routine pretty quickly once the sun rose villagers would restart their trades I trade with all 45 villagers I had then by the time I got to the end the first ones I traded with would restock so I could trade for the second and final time in the day at this point I could trade a third time with them but I was worried that would raise their prices see villagers changed their rate based on supply and demand if a villager were to sell out of cookies often they'll see there is demand and then raise the prices to be exact every sellout they raised their prices by a multiplier of 0.05 so I just have to wait which gave me a bunch of time to kill during the day I thought to myself what if we set up a wheat farm it's right next to the trading Hall when I use dirt for basically my backyard I couldn't be bothered to go farther out yes it's not the most efficient but getting just a few extra cookies might be enough to turn the tie except after day 48 there might not be a tied to turn because those villagers who I couldn't afford to have them raise their prices guess what they did oh my gosh eight why why are you guys like going on strike or whatever oh no not the Union not the union that's because there's still more factored into prices yes supply and demand rates go up as you buy more so you'd assume not buying anything would move the prices down yes but also no because prices could be lowered by trading now in the script I just went into a big explanation about this equation here what every variable means and how it doesn't factor in everything like restocks and hero of the village but after listening to it I realized if I posted the video with that paragraph everyone watching would have gotten Dumber I just don't understand it well enough to be able to explain it to you okay here's the equation shut up it felt like the only solution was to just wait for the prices to drop but even if we waited a day I knew they would very well raise again even if I spent the day waiting at the emerald Farm it'd be like handing out a stimulus check in an ever-inflating economy instead what we need is more cured employees if I double down on the amount of workers I could trade with one side of the hall while the other size prices go down I was really glad I decided to strike the gold Farm because if I had gone down the manual route of collecting gold I have no clue what I would have done there just wouldn't have been times [Music] stop come on [Music] gosh dang it you hope nothing goes wrong but when all your newly cured villagers Escape back in and mix with the others you have to solve that on the Fly also storing the cookies has become a big issue technically I could just throw them out and go off the statistics but cookie God stored them also it only felt fair you might notice those little slabs on top which marked a full Barrel because it was a huge time sink just going through all the barrels trying to find an empty one that is a good problem though because on day 60 we were well past 250 000 cookies especially thanks to that villager all the way in the back no matter how many times I traded with it even three times a day they never raised their prices here take a free cookie on the house then since I ran out of gold a second time I spent my evenings manually harvesting the cookie ingredients it wasn't until day 64. I myself personally not my villagers crafted my own cookies I truly am like a CEO I do have to give props to cookie God though on day 24 he built the cocoa bean Farm design that once they were fully grown a piston would push logs breaking the beans all at once now I thought it would be more efficient to break them with a fortune 3 ax manually so the amount of drops per crop would be higher but turns out I was wrong Fortune doesn't work on Cocoa Bean so he had the better plan cookie got one yeah Jared 99 Day 72 we hit 600 000 cookies that was a pretty big jump these villagers are doing a great job but I'm sorry there are so many villagers to trade with I have to remove your bed so I can trade with you at night but look at the barrels they're stacking higher and higher day 76 two of my villagers just disappeared I bet the other villagers are pretty jealous of them now here's a story I doubt you expected to hear as I was recording this video I actually met cookie God in person so I'm at VidCon and at the hotel we randomly cross paths I don't know what he looks like but my friend introduces me to him and before you ask sadly he's not actually a God but the first thing he does is apologize for stealing one of my video ideas from a year ago I freaking knew it that son of a then he knows I'm working on this video so I asked him why he just sat there AFK for a few days and he responds oh yeah I was just getting bored I say yeah grinding for cookies is pretty boring but in my head I'm like bored that'll never happen to me I'm better I'm stronger I'm gonna crush this challenge I won't get bored day 80. cookie got to yajara98 so to keep myself busy I built a massive cookie in the sky it wasn't too hard since I had 750 000 of them to use as reference but come on one cookie in the sky for a video about getting a million it wasn't enough two cookies in the sky then three four a zombie broke into the Villager Chambers and killed some of them six cookies in the sky just a simple change like that make trading for cookies all the bit more fun it's the first nice thing I've built in this video so eight cookies in the sky what is he doing up there but cookie God's final days were a bit more scattered as he realized his inevitable Doom he tried to grind out as many cookies as he could in a well-edited montage but cookie God that isn't going to save you as we know he ends with a hundred seven thousand thirty two but us [Music] foreign [Music] twenty five thousand eight hundred twelve Frick yeah we've done it gotten one million cookies in a hundred days and I'm pretty sure this is also the world record amount but even better we have just proven that cookie God is not a cookie God but just a cookie man here I made this little Banner for you just so you don't get sued for false advertising because the title of God belongs to me and as the sun rose on day 100 I could finally rest and eat my first ever cookie I'm not kidding I committed Mass ecological destruction just to eat one cookie I'm now truly a CEO [Music]
