Build God an Altar

tell your neighbor say it's time for you to be a bold intercessor say come on boldly to the altar in the name of jesus if you have hebrews the fourth chapter and the 16th verse could you please read out loud you may stand on your feet as we read god's word together hebrews 4 and 16 i'm going to let you read it read it loud amen you may take your seat praise god for the reading of his word and hebrews 4 and 16 is saying let us that means all of us that's everybody come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need boley is a good word to use because so many times we have a drawback spirit and we draw away from the altar of god have you noticed in many churches throughout the land when they make an altar call that normally they have to beg people to come it's a place that people think it's only for sinners but the altar is actually for the saints of god it's a place that we can come boldly yes sinners are to come as well to be redeemed to be saved and to be born again but the altar is a place that we can come before god to seek his face and to talk to him and to cry aloud and to cry out unto him and in this day and in this hour it is time out for us you know we call it drawing back and tiptoeing to the altar but we need to come to the altar and cry unto the lord for our nation it's time to cry for the children and for our neighborhoods because god has given to us as intercessors a direct connection with him when you are a intercessor we're going to talk about intercessors and you're going to find out whether you are one or not an intercessor is one that intercedes to the cause of praying for others a person that chooses to stand in the gap to be a mediator for others one that will volunteer to fight a battle that is not necessarily their own one that would jump in a fight on behalf of god's people now i know that many of you may have been fighters in the world but you got saved and punked out you in the world you talked a whole lot of stuff and i mean you wasn't scared to do nothing but when you got saved you got scared of the devil but you need to know today that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and that greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world and if god before you he's more than the whole world against you i hear a lot of people saying you know i know how to pray but i don't want to do that warfare the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but they are mighty through god to the pulling down of strongholds you can't fight the devil with your natural fist but you can fight him in the spirit realm but in order for you to be a true intercessor you have to have the love of god first samuel 17 and 37 david said moreover the lord that deliver me out of the paw of the lion and out of the paw of the bear he will deliver me out of the hand of this philistine and saul said unto david go and the lord be with you many of you know the story of david and goliath i believe that all of us do uh if you've ever been in church you know that story but david was not afraid of this giant who was talking about his god a true intercessor gets an attitude when the enemy is coming against their god a true intercessor is not just going to sit by and let the enemy talk about your god and his son jesus crucified resurrected and coming again and the holy ghost it's something on the inside of a true believer that when the enemy is coming against what you know to be true something stands up on the inside of you no you don't have to pick a fight no you don't even have to say anything as a true intercessor if you start praying god will move on your behalf i've been in position in places where the enemy was using someone's tongue and they were just running their mouth and you know when they're babes in christ and there are people that are listening i'm not gonna argue with that person i'm just gonna command that devil to cause that person to shut up said god in the name of jesus let that tongue cleave to the roof of their mouth lord i bind the devil right now over their lips in the name of jesus let the words that they're speaking out of their mouth convict their soul and cause them to shut it down [Applause] i bind every attention getting spirit that demon in them that want attention they got them talking loud are buying a strong man called rejection that wants somebody to say something to them look when you go into the spirit god will tell you what to pray [Applause] [Music] but you got to love them you have to love them if you don't really love your neighbor as you love yourself they cussing you next thing you know you cussing [Applause] but when you have the pure love of god in your heart and in your soul it'll make you pray for the person that seems to be the worst at the very moment you'll separate the two you'll love the person and you'll hate the sin and as an intercessor when you go boldly before the throne of grace no matter where you are no matter what place you're in you can go boldly in your spirit to the throne of god and know that he's listening to you and when you begin to talk to him you have his ear you can't have his interview and sin all day you got to live holy you got to live right the bible says that the lord does not hear a sinner's prayer so many people think that god hears you and you're sinning all day long if you're a sin practicing center say practicing sinner the lord is not listening to you a lot of times the things are good i have i know the lord heard me because he blessed me no the enemy will allow you to think that so you can stay where you are but you better understand that it's not god's will that you stay a sinner and even though good things are happening remember that the bible says he'll reign on the just as well as the unjust but you got to live right to be able to enter into the holy of holies you got to live right in order to have a relationship with god and those that have a relationship with him become true bold intercessors an intercessor is one that seeks mercy instead of judgment an assessor is one that is willing to serve and practice humility if your intercessor and you got your white all the way to the floor and your shawl around your head does not mean that you're anointed by god a lot of times we go by the outward appearance and your soul you know come on saints of god you know i've met intercessors and they couldn't even look up prison lord hey yeah thank you jesus no you have to be human in this world but not in the flesh do you understand the bible says that we're in this world but we're not of it you don't have to fake to be an intercessor as a matter of fact when you be real you can get more done in the kingdom when you walk yeah y'all don't want to hear the truth tonight the lord is not calling on religiosity he's not calling for you to be religious he wants you to be real and if you're real you're me if you used to be a gang banger and a thug why would you go back to the hood talking about d and darwin though now i'm not expecting you to go back talking the way you used to because your language is different but in the realness of who you are there should be an anointing of love on you that will cause you to reach the person from where you came from [Applause] if you are a true intercessor you don't try to forget where you came from [Applause] because if you can remember where you came from it'll cause you to pray for the people that are still stuck where you used to be if you are and you used to be if you used to be a liar there should be a love in your heart for all liars instead of having a judgmental spirit you would have mercy on the liar because you know that the reason people lie is because they don't want to get in trouble because they don't want to be rejected they're full of pride you know what you used to do and why you used to lie so because of you knowing that when you get on your knees and come boldly before the throne of grace you can say father in the name of jesus i come against that lying spirit in my son and my sister's son in the preacher the teacher the doctor the lawyer god i come against a lying spirit you used to be full of lust you ought to have mercy on the other [Applause] you forgot that you were one you forgot that you used to be if you were a pimp you ought to have mercy on the other pimp you know we get so spiritual that we forget that jesus came to save those that are lost you talk about the one that come in showing everything you used to show everything your dress was so tight it looked like somebody painted it on you so why won't you have that same mercy toward another soul and as an intercessor go to god and say lord i remember oh god i remember i used to wear it like that just to get attention from a man y'all don't want to hear me today but then when you begin to pray for them it goes deeper than what they have on you can bind up the rejection that came in as a child lord i come against the spirits that will cause that person to be molested and cause their character to change and cause them to have a hatred for men and for women and they rebel your spirit how many y'all used to be rebellious don't wear your hand up don't raise it up and the bible says that rebellionist has the sin of witchcraft and idolatry but when you see somebody full of witchcraft you ready to put them all the way under hell but you forgot you were so rebellious and god had mercy on you your middle name could have been witchy who but we forget about the love of god somebody say mercy and not judgment as an intercessor you have to be willing to serve it's hard to serve when you're not a real servant real servants don't get mad when what they're trying to give is not accepted a real servant don't get upset when what they're trying to offer is not wanted at that time a real servant doesn't care if you don't call their name when whatever it is that they do when you walk in humility whatever you do you're doing it for the glory of god hallelujah intercessors must have relationship with god and assessors are constant communicators with the lord the bible says pray without real intercessors pray all day they don't wait until something terrible happens and then pray you pray while you're on the bus on the train driving down the street in the car i'm talking about real intercessors you're not thinking about just your forward and no more you're thinking about any soul that you see that's on his way to hell if you watch the news or on facebook or on any other uh way you know technology television or whatever media you see with your eyes you're not there to judge the situation you're there to pray for it i like communicating with the lord i'd rather talk to him than people any day because he knows all he sees all the bible says that the holy ghost will bring all things back to your remembrance and i love to tell the saints of god and that that you don't know because god created you he can reveal it unto you so there's no reason for you not to know what you need to know if you study the show that i self-approve the workmen that need to not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth true intercessors are not selfish self-willed carnal or fleshly how can you be a true intercessor and you're selfish it's all about you you want prayer all the time you say you're the intercessor but you your request is the first one in the bucket you selfish you self-will strong will if it's not done your way then it ain't no way talk to me if you're over the intercessors team you can't take instructions from nobody else you don't want no suggestions the lord is dealing with me the bible says in a multitude of counsel there's much wisdom sometimes what you think is right may not be right for that particular thing so you cannot peg god you cannot peg how a person just because you prayed for four weeks straight and deliverance came through your prayer does not mean it's gonna work the fifth week
