foreign [Music] [Applause] thank you so much for coming Bella it's your first time here you're here in Los Angeles are you loving this Los Angeles Sunshine that you've been greeted by I've seen probably like 10 minutes total of sunshine since I've been here I got here like December 30th and it's really has been raining it's just rained every day it's nice it's quite British yeah it's it's it really is it does feel like home doesn't it yeah yeah it does now we're into a new year 2023 uh Regina did you make any resolutions at the start of this year any intense I did intentions that's what I said intentions because they're not as Resolute yes so you don't have to do them but you want to yes I I I health health I wanted to be healthier yeah eat healthy I have a thing where I love vitamins but I buy the gummy version Oh I'm with you and then I take the whole bottle like within two three days and so I'm trying to balance balance balance yeah it's true overdose on Gummy I'm filled with vitamin B right now I have so much elderberry it's crazy now Bella we're so thrilled you're here we're all such huge fans you are from a part of the United Kingdom called leicestershire now a lovely part of the country now some British actors struggle with with an American accent but yours is absolutely brilliant how did you get your accent in such great shape um I had a dialect coach which was helpful and uh we started the first like phrase I mastered was like olive oil olive oil it's really hard like olive oil and then that was myself wow that's a good thing that's quite a lead that's all you need exactly pass me that olive oil yeah any other but with curse words an important part of the learning the dialect yeah because the character that I play in this show The Last of Us Ellie she she curses every two seconds so like that was definitely important and like I mean there's so many I I have a mouth like a sailor it's it's yeah oh thank you um since I was six years old wow really yeah yeah six years old you were cursing I had the gift early from my well because of my brothers I have three brothers so in order to feel powerful I curse right would you ever get in trouble for this yeah my mother heard me one day and said Regina is that you downstairs cursing like a sailor and my brothers were so excited they're like that's her mommy that's what she talks like your sweet little girl yeah yeah I was like you yeah Regina have you spent have you ever filmed anything or spent any time in the United Kingdom what do you what do you think of the place okay do you enjoy it would you enjoy it when you're there I did it was sure it was ex I felt poor I can't lie it was very expensive cool that pound is high but it was it was I wanted a bad time I went when the dollar was low and the pound was high you're gonna refute this I bought one Krispy Kreme I I it was it was 12 American dollars I bought it from Harrod's oh well that's why well that's why no I didn't know everyone said I had to go to Harris it's the only place that sold Krispy Kreme so you bought one Christmas one donut and it cost 12 American dollars it cost eight pounds yeah that was good yes I promise there's no way is anyone she's said yes look she's just not the one in The Mask no no no that will narrow it down hang on there's just no way it wasn't eight pounds there are not many times in my life I I believe I know what I'm talking about but the price of donuts I know what I'm talking about right someone in Harrods saw you coming well they actually they saw you coming they [ __ ] yeah you were robbed you were robbed in Harrods isn't the only place you can get Krispy Kremes you can get them like a service station on the motorcycle it used to only be Harris seriously yeah this is probably before you were born I reckon no it is no it's true this is like in 2000s 2000 and I want to say 2004. I was born in 2003. right so it was it 2004 well I was six you know traveling along I was a part of a trafficking swearing like a sailor swearing yeah no someone in Harrods robbed you that's what happened they were never eight pounds because I was a baby now correct that's why now Bella let's talk about your highly anticipated new show I think this is going to be one of the biggest shows of the year it's called The Last of Us uh-huh tell us what it's about who you play I play Ellie Williams and she um felt good thank you she Journeys across uh America with uh a guy called Joel who she really doesn't take to initially um they travel across the U.S in search of a cure for this cordyceps infection which is ravaging um the word because Ellie is somehow immune right and it's basically it's kind of like it's all taking place in the sort of zombie apocalypse yes I mean how do you think you you would fare in such a apocalypse would you be good in such a terrible my like response to stress is often to freeze right yeah so fight flight will freeze and they tend to freeze um however the zombies in this show actually the clickers like the whole point is that you need if you are completely still then they're not going to figure out where you are so maybe I would be okay I like Jurassic Park you've never seen Jurassic Park you've never seen the gasps my goodness never any of them no you absolutely should well they're old enough to be around for the original I'm not no I've only seen the Chris Pratt one correct
