hello hello this is my am bernick RG 35xx and today I am running the February 20th build of batera by acne plus over on GitHub check out the video description for links so you can install batera on your own handheld if you'd like to try it yourself one of the great features of these February builds bisera is bluetooth support has been enabled however when I try to pair my PlayStation 4 dual shock controller sometimes I run into a little bit of weirdness and I'm going to try to demonstrate that for you what happens is the console reports a failure to pair but the controller shows up in the list of paired devices yet when you turn on the controller it doesn't connect to the console so let's see if we can get this to work okay that aay has booted so let's hit start and go into the menu go to controller and Bluetooth and we will pair a device automatically so let's put this in pair mode hold down share and press the PlayStation button and now the light is flashing so we'll hit pair automatically on the console let's see if we can focus it's searching for devices it's trying to pair the light has turned on my controller but now the light has gone out the console still is trying to pair can see up here and if we look in the forget a Bluetooth device we can see what's in here this is the controller that we're looking at right now but over here it says connection failed give give up so at this point all you need to do is restart your console so let's get out of this menu go down to quit we restart we'll wait for it to reboot here you can see how long it takes to boot from being off takes about 45 seconds I've turned on some options to preload the menus in emulation station and that takes a few more seconds yeah this preloading UI is an optional feature okay so it looked like it failed but now let's turn on our PlayStation controller and it went right to Blue and on the screen wireless controller connected wireless controller connected and now I'm controlling this with the PlayStation controller one thing we need to do to make sure that emulation station launches retro Arch and other emulators with the right controller need to go into settings controller and bluetooth settings and make sure that player 1's controller is set to the wireless controller
