I just finished BOS Gate 3 Conor mode and everyone on stream agreed most scary character in my party was carlac and everyone asked what is my exact build for carlac why she's hitting like a truck with 50 damage per Punch or even 100 damage with topple so let's go and see my carac build so you can defeat bosses in one turn as this carlac to and get to this golden dice by yourself and get most R achievement in baldos Gate 3 and let's start with leveling but first of all why carac why carac she got unique ability Soul coin on your journey you'll find a lot of soul coins and they got infernal Fury condition so you kind of can use it as Carlock and she will become this fire demon or whatever in game description is completely wrong so in game description looks like this her weapon and unarmed attack deals additional one4 damage when she is Raging or when her hit points drop below 25% but in reality she's doing additional fire damage and it's 2 D4 with each hit with each hit of your weapon of your Feast so that's completely crazy damage that's why maximizing number of attacks for Carlock is really important on stuff so instead of going for barbarian we building monk carlac or how I call her k carlac okay we're starting our journey as Monk and getting abilities skill proficiency is not too important and for early game main abilities will be dexterity Constitution and wisdom it will increase hit chance Armor class and heit points but we will be using Tavern brawler Feit so we need a lot of strength I highly recommend to get a lot of potions that will increase your strength that's what making carc really broken you can find this but a little bit weaker Elixir at on atel shop buy as much as you can and to refresh your shop just level up after you level up one time shop will be refreshed and you can buy more potions so with this trick you can get enough potions until act three and then you can get these potions from the traser in the circus so by having potions on carc we can completely dump strength and still have benefits of thr brawler more that later and basically in mid game I recommend changing your abilities to something like this 16 dexterity 15 Constitution and getting plus one from toorn brawler and 16 into wisdom but then when you enter in act three you will get awesome amlet and that's where you can completely change your stats again so final stats will look something like this we maining our wisdom wisdom is most important for our mon we Dum in strength in Constitution and you can allocate all the points however you like and basically have really balanced character with 16 dexterity 17 wisdom 12 intelligence 12 Charisma and by the way that's my first video in series of build for every companion for Hunter MOD so make sure to subscribe if you want builds for every other Companion now leveling it's far more easier you don't need to make a lot of choices so level two is monk level three is way of the Open Hand Monk subass which will give us flut of blows different flut of blows topple push stagger very useful stuff level four is monk where we get an additional feat Tavern brawler and right now if you're using potions you adding to your constitution of course this feat is basically adding your strength modifier to your attack and damage rols and now monk level five really important level big Power Spike instead of one attack you're doing two attacks with one action so that's really important level but instead of continuing our way of the monk we stopping at level six so level six is still monk where we getting the subplus Futures which will make our strikes with our fist resistance to immunity which will make our F strikes ignore resistance to immunity additional movement speed very important and passive Futures that will increase our damage so a little bit on the paive Futures I actually like to go to my spell book and put all of them on on my hot bar that's really useful you can turn them on just from the hot bar it's really like easy and actually there's no description on how it works but basically it's doing one to4 plus your wisdom modifier that's why wisdom is really important start for Carlock so now on level six you can right click and examine enemies and check if they got any resistances if they resistant to rant damage just switch to necrotic damage bive that's it so so we continue our leveling and now we're going into Rogue we can get slight of hand ability so it will be easier to lock pick and disarm traps with scarc second level of Rog gives us uh kind in Ed and dash disengage height so now we can basically use Dash with bonus action without any key points really useful stuff too and Next Level we pick in subass it will be thief subass of Rogue that gives us additional bonus action so now we can use FL of blows two times in a turn then that's incredible power Spike and a lot of builds actually trying to get to Rog level four to get additional feat but instead of doing this we're going back to monk so level 10 it's monk level we getting additional key points we're getting monk evasion Stillness of Mind level 11 again we're picking monk so now we got Feit from Monk and we're going into ability Improvement and getting our wisdom up to 19 this will not also affect our damage from our passives but also increase our Armor class which is really important and now again there's no description for this in the game at least I haven't found this but if you're going for roog level four with this build you get an additional Feit but when you picking Mar you get in this here resonation punch very powerful stuff I will show how to use it in a second an armant movement and most importantly your fasts starting to do more damage so look at this we right now level 11 and now our unarm strike doing 1 D6 damage but when we get mon level 9 at our final level now we're doing 1d8 with our attacks so now let's talk about gear and how to make this mon broken in early game you will get this graceful CLA very nice gear that will increase your dexterity by two so you will have more chance to heit more Armor class pretty nice gear you can have cloak of protections that you can buy from last Light in in too but here's my favorite combination of items on this mon this combination will try to maximize our an strike damage basically with additional dices so first is helmet horns of berserker you're gaining more chances to hit when enemies got less hit points than maximum or who already taking damage because we got two additional bonus actions we got two attacks with our action we're doing a lot of attacks so it's easy to hit targets BAS basically when you hit at least once or if they not on maximum hit points so very nice stuff additionally it will do additional two damage as long as you're not at full health and you won't be at full health because if you're not dealing any damage this turn you're taking one to4 necrotic damage at the end of your turn so this helmet is really nice and Powerful next one is our late game armor so it's increasing your armor class by two that's crazy but craziest part of this gear is great kushiga Contour so when someone misses attack against you you can make an armed strike against him or any other creature and that's the trick so it kind of uses reaction so if your turn ended and someone attacks you then you can use this ability to Counterattack this enemy but this is one trick how you can use it to do even more damage I will show you just in a second now our cloak so I think it's best cloak for this type of cloak of displacement you can get it in act three and basically at beginning of your turn every attacker gains disadvantage on attack RS against you so it's really hard to hit you so next up gloves there's different gloves you can equip something like float held do gloves so you can get it in act two when you giv infernal iron to Damon is really nice you get an additional fire damage there's similar version of these gloves that you can find in act three when you beaten har but just after that it's actually cool to switch to gloves of Soul catching basically you pick any gloves that do an additional dice damage with each attack and this gloves doing one to 10 Force damage which is least resistant damage in the game almost no enemies got resistance to force damage so we definitely getting these gloves and there's Soul catching ability so you can not use it to gain hit points and basically do attack roll with advantage that's crazy now let's go to our boots and it's no other than boots of inhibited kosa you get only two times in this game where you can get these boots so don't to forget them basically you can get it when you enter in act three when you fight in Gan mons one of them will get these boots so make sure to get them it's very powerful boots that will increase your damage with your wisdom modifier and we got really high wisdom so our wisdom is 19 right now but I honestly suggest to improve it by one with hair if you can there's actually alternate way how you can get plus one wisdom and there's amulet that gives you wisdom but I suggest actually getting this amulet Amulet of Greater health so you don't need to have any Constitution this amet will give you Constitution score to 23 very crazy amulet if you don't like to use potions you can ignore this one detend force damage or other bonus damage from gloves and get gloves of frost giant strength they're in the same location where is located this amulet but this will make build weaker of course and now our ring combination so my favorite ring combination is K glow ring we doing additional two points of damage against CES that are eliminated and if they're not eliminated we got Shadow clocked rink so if they not eliminated we're doing additional one to4 damage basically against every enemy in every condition we will do additional damage our final AC is 20 it's really hard to hit us and as you can see with complete build we're doing 58 damage with unarmed strikes 116 damage with FL of blows and additional damage with resonation blast so how to play this monk so I guess let's start Tavern BR just like that no one even want to fight versus Carlock oh finally so basic strategy is of course just do two attacks with your normal attack to FL of blow tole and if it will hit for maximum damage guys 350 maximum damage in one turn but actually there's way have to make it 450 or even 500 damage depending on how many enemies in your location so we starting with the key resonation punches as you can see they not using any key points whatsoever so after you hit Level 9 monk there is no reason to do any other type of punches just go for kation punches and that's it sadly this lady got one shoted by our kation punch so we made more than 70 damage in one Critical Strike but our idea is of course Kate punch everyone everyone in one area so secret way how to do even more damage you just need to provoke opportunity attack and hope enemy misses when enemy misses you will get ability to make even more attacks look at this please yeah he misses so we're using greater kushiga counter and now on our turn we're doing one attack but we can do one more resonation punch attack basically on this dude and when everyone is down when everyone basically resonating you finishing your turn with key resonation BL blast it will use key points and it will basically blast everyone in an area with additional damage with additional Force damage that's crazy everyone lying on the floor already and this lady want to eat our FL blow stole crazy damage crazy hit chance and look she will be one- shoted basically this carc is definitely hitting like a truck so one the eight from our fist plus eight from strength plus eight from strength from to brawler plus five from wisdom modifier because we got this kushiga boots then necrotic damage from our helmet to D4 from infernal fury because we're playing carlac with infernal coin 10 radiant damage because this lady is illuminated you can see this by the sun icon on her and we're doing one to4 radiant from our manifestation of Soul then we add in plus five wisdom to manifestation of soul and then plus two from our ring but if enemy is not in lighted area like this lightly obscured area we will do additional one4 damage to this enemies so damage is crazy if you make this mon hasted with other characters this SM will be even more crazier but again damage is just insane there's a lot of numbers and they are so big that everyone just lies on the floor so late game fling flaming fist guards is not a problem you're basically one shotting them all the time that's crazy so that's my most
