Baldur's Gate 3 - Best Mods You NEED To Try (February 2024)

it's 2024 and the balers Gate 3 modding Community is alive and well and so in regular fashion I'll be showing you guys a slew of really cool mods that I've started using this week now before I start rattling these off if you're a fan of balers Skate 3 and RPGs in general then do remember to subscribe to the channel as I'll be covering Dragon's Dogma 2 and other games coming out in the near future all right with that out of the way let's get into some character creation shall we the first mod that I want you guys to check out is the new CC head presets by pseudo Kiara this mod simply introduces a variety of new heads for you to choose from now I've previously mostly covered head mods that only works for female characters but guess what new CC head presets has a slew of new heads for male characters as well so hey if you've been waiting for a mod that lets you make a really goodlooking male tab or dark urge here you go but we're not done with character creation just yet as Silver's hair pack by silver sorceress is almost a must have in my opinion this mod gives you five new hairstyles that works for body 1 and two and I have to say that these hairstyles are some of the best that I've seen yet because they simply improve on already existing hairstyles and makes them better however if you're not a fan of Silver's hair pack then I have got another one for you and all you Witcher enjoyers are going to enjoy this one introducing continent hairstyles by boo bo boo bow Yes you heard that right we've finally got an entire collection of hairstyles inspired by characters from from The Witcher games you want to remake Tris or maybe yennefer or hell why not both Tris Yen or maybe just maybe you're a bigger fan of Siri well continent hairstyles has Sirus hairstyle too wait what's that you want geralt's hair well boo boo BS got you covered oh you're a fan of geralt's best buddy Regis here you go hm you want something more badass well all right then how about the hair of one all geared Von ever on a more serious ious note though some of these hairstyles might need some more work but I just absolutely love yeners hairstyle and actually managed to capture some of her Witcher 3 likeness with my dark urch all right an important mod that you should also check out is leasa makeup edits by leasa and as you can assume this mod gives you new makeup to add that extra spice to your character now just like previous makeup mods I've covered leasia makeup edits is a replacer mod meaning it replaces already EX existing makeups which is something we'll all just have to live with up until someone finds a way to add new makeups on top of the original ones that said I do think that Lea sona's makeup edits look pretty damn good okay so now that we've cooked up just about the hottest individual in fyon sorry carlac I want you all to get the more reactive companions mod by lightning Larry L this one I feel is such a necessity for everyone who's planning to replay bg3 but who's not interested in playing as the origin characters now why I say that is because characters like lazel estan shadowart and the others all have specific unique dialogue and banter when you play as them in their own campaigns you know monsters right better than anyone look into my eyes can't you see I'm not what you think what more reactive companion does is just absolutely genius as it adds a lot of the banter and dialogue from their respective origin stor to your gameid won't with these dragon attack for long forward I wonder what was so sub I didn't think anyone still worshiped him now I don't have too much footage of this because I just forgot to record all of it I have to say that I do love this mod because it makes your adventure feel more engaging and I'm always looking forward to hearing what the different cion have to say about certain events characters or environments and because of this mod a lot of the banter is sometimes entirely new to me you've been witnessed to a pantomim I'm sorry to say and I've played my part all too poorly it means that are reckonings coming and I'll be the one to pay up what's that supposed to mean the truth will out before you know it all right so I got to tell you about two Quality of Life mods that's made my new playthrough much less of micromanaging stuff and more about just enjoying the game AOS send food to Camp by valico is a genius mod because it simply sends all food that you pick up directly to your Camp so you don't need to pick up food go into your inventory and then into your supplies bag to then send food to your Camp you can simply pick up food you see and be on your way without thinking about taking up inventory weight secondly you should also check out Auto lockpicking also by bicio which automatically initiates lockpicking by simply clicking on a chest or a door door in case you don't have a key again Quality of Life mods like these just removes the extra steps you have to take with stuff like this which is always just a good thing in my opinion okay so if you're someone who just can't stop dying oh boy do I have the mod for you miraculous dieses and tools by Focus bg3 not only adds new dieses for your outfits and armors but it also introduces a fun little miname as well miraculous dies gives you a ring where upon equipping it you receive three new actions these actions being chromatism potent chromatism and polychromy chromatism and potent chromatism essentially activates a sort of die randomizer that changes the color of your outfit once every 1.5 seconds and so once you see a combination you like you simply click to deactivate the action you can then use the polychromy action to create a flask with said die combination in it for later use and yes it's endless so you don't have to constantly make new die flasks for one particular combination now this is just the basics of the mod as it also gives you an assortment of D bags and more but for a more in-depth guide on all hairstyle you'll need the D Shard dress 2B version which you can find in the dress bag from the basket full of equipment mod you'll also need the thigh highs of the ocean queen which you can find in
