Baer Plays Pitch Black Dungeon (Ep. 77) - what

hello everybody welcome back to pitch-black dungeon my name is bear we are missing a video here last week's run got corrupted unfortunately so you can't see it but here's what happened I went through another apprentice level dungeon with my newbies and I got a lot of money I did fairly well we didn't really encounter too many issues or leave some stress up a squint as well I really like this team right here actually worked out fairly well I managed to recover stress quite effectively got my healing good you know it's all working out so I'm happy with that squad and now I've made some made a decision that might make you sad I had the bed to get rid every I had to get rid of that highwayman that we brought back from the dead it just it's way too expensive to make him worthwhile anymore so I have elected instead to bring on the new leopard Jia Ches ruins scrounger man slaver he's got some pretty good positive quirks right out of the gate so I'm feeling good about him as far as what we're doing this week Vell it's it's time to make more progress oh and by the way you probably noticed this already I got really excited about it at the end of the last video that's why I failed to mention it now however there is a very big improvement that has been made it's not in the guild it's in the blacksmith right here armor smithing done I have spent the 50 portraits and deeds necessary in fact converted quite a few of my crests to do so and we now have 100% of the unlocks for the blacksmith and the guild is oh that's so good so good however of course there is still the issue of the fact that this costs so much goddamn money to actually do so 15-under gold a pop to upgrade these guys in their armor and I mean once we do that of course we're gonna be in pretty good shape though that is more or less the thing that has been holding me back those extra seven hit points you know that's gonna make a difference so I'm excited about that hopefully we can actually do some champion level stuff once I managed to get some money but that's what we're gonna do right here is get some goddamn money from the Weald I also want to get this hat because it looks really nice the bullseye had accuracy and the crit chance seemed pretty good so let's attempt to do so we get a town event as well with a medical breakthrough which we might be able to take advantage of depending on how things go but let's break down the roster shall we up front with the Jester we got our of the Joker and the orders of the unworthy I'm trying to keep this gesture available at level four for a little while so we're gonna rock this for now he's also got precise tracker of course is gonna be very quick to pendant but hopefully we'll get some RNG luck on our side and we don't have mockery I was considering that one but he does have quite a bit of stress relief all the same so we should be good to go there speaking of which campfire skills yeah I want to make sure we got the ambush prevention and be we do bounty hunter got to be looking to finish off the targets that the finale does not kill outright because they will be Marty's gonna be benefiting from this a hell of a lot I actually rank this up to three just to make sure they got the extra crit chance on there as well and he's got the ancestors map in the lantern should be taking advantage of that fairly well I also got the Meister set to give us that wonderful surprise chance rampart shield here on the email alarms Giscard has been a beast and I really like the use of defender here in fact we don't even have crush unlocked we've got defender and retribution which I consider necessary plus the stun chance and bolster which is really [ __ ] good so much so that I'm tempted to go in here and look at rank for once and see what this is all about rank for if bolster is gonna be a more dodge and that is just about it another two percentage points undamaged it's not really not that great so we'll just keep that there for now but yeah he's looking good too he's been really nice and I'm gonna be using defender a hell of a lot to get that riposte damage going as often as possible and then Garen in the back our Vestal the eagle I Vestal with a little bit of extra damage from the crescendo boxes really I didn't know what else to give her besides the sacred scroll which I really didn't want to give her I I just don't like this anymore I hate that speed loss I hate the loss of the stun skill chance I like having this dazzling light as an option for stunning man like I need that to be available so I'm gonna keep it and give her a little bit more damage and some speed to boot so that she's gonna be able to heal if we need it that's the squad it's a good it's good look I think I've got a lot of strengths here I've got a lot of potential for harm there the damage over time could screw us over but we do have just straight-up healing in the form of the vessels so it should be okay I think it'll work out I'm mostly looking for money here again I want a bull's eye hat I just want to look nice is that so much to ask I just want nice things grab two full stacks of food there I'm gonna grab a couple of keys actually completely forgot to bring out keys last time because I'm a goddamn genius let's go with just four shovels that'll probably be okay and then three daggers just treated me well thus far just because I already have this herb I'm gonna go ahead and bring out another one and then that's probably gonna do it he shovels torches food we got it let's go off into the Weald once more sadly not making any more level progression on the wheel but that probably doesn't matter anymore I mean we've got the level five bosses already available in every single area so it's really not that much of a much of a party found and done a bird every lost resource must be recovered okay well normally I'd be fairly excited about a layout like this but it does just sort of make it a lot more difficult for me to get lucky I've been enjoying the the instantaneous virtue like this ya know this is exactly what I'm hoping for thank you I appreciate it more of that fortune waiting to be spent go ahead and here the treasure room as well here and I should probably keep this light up too even though we don't really have any need for it wait now think of phobia that is oh okay so we want to keep the light down actually [ __ ] let's keep it into the dim light I suppose that's not a terrible idea Oh giant to start off with okay well tell you what I am NOT opposed to this and I may go for the uppercut stun probably the ramparts done actually and then we'll have a bounty hunter to get the extra damage here let's just let's just beat the [ __ ] out of this guy I want to kill him first I don't want him to stick around and we're already dealing a hell of a lot of damage so let's keep it up 31 with the Bounty Hunter strike and now let's go for the stun shall we switches up the position up front knocks back the Giant surprisingly enough I wonder if that's gonna end up affecting him oh that's kind of a bad chef lawyer probably just have to rampart again to make sure he gets up the spots ooh and allows her to heal ah the escape cloud sucks he's a regenerating battery too so I'm kind of glad I didn't end up focusing him at all how do you know what it is gonna end up being for the better that we that we had to shuffle this around anyway rat because the Bounty Hunter's gonna be able to hit the giant now I like battle ballad here I'd like to stress you on my man-at-arms I don't think I can afford to do that yet I'd like to give myself some extra chance at bigger damage and I can rampart him again however his stun resistance is much higher now I don't know if it's gonna be very likely alright this is pretty terrible start starting off light could be pretty problematic I do want to try this but I could also defend her and get some repost damage going and that has been happening quite a bit so you know what with the vestal up front let's go ahead and do that and I think I'm in a group heal here as well that is my only option isn't it yes that's why I need to rampart okay so let's go ahead and ramp our next turn even though I do I do like the group heal there it's not useless uppercut probably not gonna happen yeah and that is a big hit though how about one more turn of marks that sounds good there's all the blight we can stand nice resistance though another stack of this works but his stress is beginning to creep up on me really quickly so I should probably go ahead and address that there we go love that super effective healing done after the bonus from the finale of course I think I'll just go ahead and do this again even though I would have loved to rampart ahead of time oh please tell me I get to kill him so close all right so we can do retribution here actually and then we're biggest size alone does not dissuade the sharpens still have the guard still gonna repost damage at least so there's that there's a big blight on the [ __ ] gesture as well and wow that is really bad Jesus Christ okay you need to go I love to clear a corpse but I seriously doubt we're actually gonna have that option gotta get rid of this stress here - wow this is just not a great fight not working out for me I'm gonna uppercut I'm really hoping that I can prevent this fitting from using painful flight but I don't know if I can I also can't stun him so [ __ ] at least we can definitely benefit from the heals though and a little bit stress relief - I like that that's still really strong this is certainly the way to go and now I can allow her to do some solo heals at least but I do have to deal with this large noxious corpse for one round let's see what this does it's more blight isn't it that is more blight and that is not what I needed to see Jesus Christ she can still group heal oh man I'm really lucky actually she wouldn't have been able to group heal that would be gnarly stress healing I guess he's still 56 yo take care of this a little bit that blight is absurd maybe I'll get lucky with a heal I should probably get rid of this thing but I don't think I'm gonna be able to let's just try to kill you then my god this is getting ridiculous quickly the tide turns oh god damn Wow severely lowers her healing receive Jesus Christ man this is really bad judgment makes sense still oh man I don't know about this this is this is starting to freak me out at least that lowered a little bit i am going to bolster and give this speed up so that we can hopefully heal a little bit more oh my god this is terrifying man this blight damage is just ridiculous I don't want him to defend her I need him to oh my god obviously not gonna be able to Wow I'm not gonna be able to clear this thing out this is terrible I did not expect so much blight oh my god he has ten hit points he got the black play we got two diseases out of this oh my god dude what the hell do I do about that he's gonna die every round so I guess I just heal them a little bit can I kill this thing no oh god well this is a disaster holy [ __ ] you got to stop that are you just what in the actual [ __ ] what the [ __ ] man 1 in the holy [ __ ] God just happened how do I handle this Jesus spring facing the abyss um oh man just keep healing escape cloud yep quitting every round this is [ __ ] absurd something broke the goddamn game and I have no idea what it was what the [ __ ] man what just happened to me Oh get off get off line bear that's what you need to do you gotta get off line the shadows whisper of what the [ __ ] and brick from becoming on one this is the first fight perched at the very precipice I just like what do I do actually though for real I have no recourse for this at all it was the only thing London stage it was the only thing cowardice that I was worried about why would I even dare try that a spark without kindling was a goal without hope Jesus Christ okay well we have the Black Plague via gyu hemophilia hemophilia late what do I do what the [ __ ] man how am I supposed to handle this what is expected of me I'm dead I can't what [ __ ] off with that I can't even get rid of the blight this is now guy delight the promise of safety [ __ ] all of you condemn you to hell Wow [ __ ] that you cannot learn a thing you think you know I don't know what I even find you [ __ ] this game the other and in so doing help themselves well thanks alright I guess I'm happy what in the [ __ ] just happened man was it because I prioritize the giant did killing the giant first kill me why does this have to be the video that goes up today I had a good run I had a great [ __ ] run that you'll never see in week 79 this is [ __ ] all right enjoy
