Wait 7 years? Holy I swear it feels like Black Flag just released a few years ago!
I downloaded black flag for free thinking it would be fun to pass the time.
I spent 3 or 4 months playing it - it was so good.
I feel like Sea of Thieves would be so much better if it was done in the style of black flag. A realistic pirate MMO would be amazing honestly.
Everything about black flag was done very well. Even the sailing was fun. Side missions. Blending in with crowds of people to lose enemies. Climbing to the top of towers and seeing the lay of the land. Sneaking into castles and assassinating royalty. Dealing with shady characters in bars.
All of these things would translate extremely well into an MMO. Treasure hunting. Animal hunting. Fortifying strongholds. Taking over enemy ships. Cosmetics for both your character and your ship. Discovering uncharted islands. Singing sea shanties.
Imo, best AC/ pirate game i've played. Origins is pretty good too.
It would be a timeless masterpiece if it wasn't an AC game. Wish they focused on pirates and pirating and trading instead of assassinations.
Topping blackflag would be hard for any Assassin creed game. It truly was an amazing experience, especially coming from 3 and revelations
I reinstall the game every now and then because there is still nothing quite like it :)
Would love if SKULL & BONES was a true third person action adventure game with story missions and not just world of pirate ships
One of the few ACs that actually tried doing something fresh. Honestly, if they made a pirate game based on BF's seafaring and exploration mechanics, only much more expanded, they'd have a huge hit on their hands.
LOVE me some Black Flag!
Did this man really just say that the strong part of the Assassin's Creed games is the story?
