Are You Ashamed?

welcome back I'm rubber breaker and this week's sermon is entitled are you ashamed are you ashamed I want to make this message because this is what the Lord has laid on my heart to speak about today and I want to make it is personal as I can I want to ask you are you ashamed is there anything in your life that you should be ashamed of yes this is gonna be one of those sermons that I'm gonna pack your bags and send you on a guilt trip but if you're guilty as the old saying goes if the shoe fits then you need to wear it so I'm gonna come to you today and I'm gonna come through the scriptures a lot of times I prepare a message and as I'm sitting and I'm thinking about what to preach on I say Lord I just I just want this to be what you want said and Lord I want the emphasis to be on your word not mine and so that's why I go out of my way to give so many verses when I'm teaching and preaching because I feel like I'm nothing and I'm not important that my words do not matter the only thing that matters is the scriptures the King James 1611 authorized version to Bible because the Bible is God's Word look at what it says in 1st Thessalonians 2:13 for this cause also think we God without ceasing because when you receive the Word of God which he heard of us you received it not as the word of men but as it is in truth the Word of God which effectually worketh also in you that belief you see it's not about what Robert breaker says it's what does the word of God say because it's the Word of God that works in you and so it's my prayer today that the Word of God would work in your heart and that you would heed what's given today from the Scriptures because I want to give you what the Bible says about this subject I was thinking about this the other day about being ashamed so I went to my computer and I typed in shame shame foot facing this ashamed shameful and looked up all the different times these words showed up in the Bible just to see what God says you should be ashamed of and I looked at my heart and I looked at myself and I said Lord is there anything that I've done that's wrong but I should be ashamed of please show me Lord I want to get it right and then I said you know this this is the message that guess that the Lord would have me to give to show other people so this was my Bible study and this will be our Bible study today as we study the Scriptures together I want you to go with me to first John 2:28 and I'm gonna ask this question are you ashamed I actually got 7 points 7 different points and I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and say I bet you one of these at least will touch your heart I bet you'll be guilty of at least one of these and if you are ashamed where you need to get it right get right with the Lord first John 2:28 says and now little children abide in him that when he when he shall appear we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him that is coming now this is 1st John he's not our apostle because Paul is so first John is dealing more with Jews so they're coming here some may argue well this is this is when he comes at Armageddon and others might say well no we can take this spiritually at the coming of the rapture well I want to I want to ask it in that question in that way as far as rapture when he comes his coming is coming to us today the church and my question to you is is there anything that you'll be ashamed of when Jesus comes and takes you home at the rapture you might be engaged in doing a shameful act when the Lord comes some people try to say and if you're doing that then you won't go at the rapture that's not true the Bible says if you're saved you go at the rapture no matter what you're doing but the question is will you be ashamed when you go at the rapture is there something in your life or in your heart that you're doing that you are ashamed of and you don't want anyone to find out well guess what when we get to the judgment seat of Christ up in heaven after the rapture then you'll be ashamed if you don't get it right now no you can't lose your salvation but you can lose rewards so let's look at this today now as I was doing this message I was thinking about this and just how horrible a world we live in today it seems like there's so many today that aren't ashamed of anything and it seems like the world today is more sinful than it's ever been in the history of the entire world go with me to Ecclesiastes 8:11 a lot of people asked me brother breaker why is there so much evil in the world why are people doing things wrong all the time and they never seem to feel bad about it why isn't there shame you know when I was a kid and you you saw people that were ashamed of things if a guy did something he got caught he would be ashamed and say oh man I'm sorry he feels bad about it not today now people do things just horrible we can eat one godly things and they never ever feel ashamed they're not ashamed of what they do why is that well clicks yeah STIs 8:11 says because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily therefore the heart of the sons of man is fully set in them to do evil I believe that's today men are fully determined in themselves that they're gonna do wrong because they look and they say looks like I can get away with it because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily therefore the heart of the sons of man is fully said of them to do evil people can do wrong today and get away with it and it's sad but we see that in a national level actually the government shows that as I preach this message it's the year 2018 we have a president named Trump and we see the FBI and CIA and all these government agencies are going after him and and the people that are accusing him of something it's the very thing that they themselves are guilty of and the people that are truly guilty they're not in jail they're trying to take somebody who's innocent and put him in jail now we need to go into that and talk about politics but it's just amazing to me to watch people top secret emails just throw them around like they're nothing and the law says no if you do that you go to jail well they're not a day they say well this guy's guilty of collusion with Russia and they look into it for a year two years no collusion with Russia yet the people that are going after him are the ones that colluded with Russia how is it that that the people that have done wrong are not in jail you break the law and you got away with it it's just really sad and we see that today it's because there's no shame this guy that was fired from the FBI wrote a book about what he did and he's not ashamed of his affiliation and how he didn't how he perverted justice and how he didn't try to to bring forth justice and it's just it's crazy and you look at the world you saw man how many how come the guilty seem to get away with the evil and the righteous don't well that's what's called an Oleg Archaea that's what's called an an evil day and age that's what's called the last base that's what's called perilous times let's go to second Timothy second Timothy chapter 3 tells us why it's like that I have preached in jails before and often times I come across men and I say tell me your story and they tell me their story and I say really and you're in jail why and it's so sad and I've started to understand jails get paid for how many people they have Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil the more people they have in jail more money they make so hey let's just make up a charge and put this guy in for it and things like that and you see so much injustice that it's sad it's really sad what does the Bible say well in 2nd Timothy chapter 3 the Bible warns us about the last days saying to mute that chapter 3 verses 1 through 9 the Bible says this know this also that in the last days perilous times shall come I believe they have come I believe we are in the last days for men should be lovers of their own selves covetous boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful unholy without natural affection trucebreakers false accusers incontinent fierce despisers of those that are good traitors while there's your government you know if someone does anything against the law or the Constitution they are a traitor they should be in jail but not today many politicians politicians get away with evil in breaking of the law traitors verse four heady highminded lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God first by having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away so we see these type of people now look at them down there verse nine but they shall proceed no further for their folly shall be made manifest into all men as there's also us it's going to come out what these people have done you know the Bible tells us be sure your sin will find you out numbers 32:23 so you're going to go out you're gonna do a sin it's good to come out what you did but most people today they don't care they're not ashamed when it comes out they're just like yeah so what I did that it's like they they brag on their sin but in the old days people when they were found out for their sin they used to feel bad about it used to feel bad about so today I want to look at what the Bible says about being ashamed and asked you if you are ashamed let me let me say this one of the reasons I did this Bible study was because uh I was thinking about how people today they no longer blush do you know that God created us what a wonderful magnificent thing he created what a wonderful work we are the Bible says and it's just amazing how God made this body and God put with us within us this disability to blush all the blood runs to your cheeks when you're ashamed of something or when you're embarrassed of something and I remember in my life seen many times someone blush but I was thinking about it and I'm just thinking to myself you know the last 10 15 maybe even 20 years I cannot remember the last time I saw someone blush you see people don't blush anymore because we're the last days we're the last days where people aren't ashamed of their sin so obviously things have changed society has changed to where there's no right and wrong that there's no right and wrong there's no blushing and you won't see people blush anymore because blood blushing is only when you're embarrassed of something people today they're so open with their sin they don't get embarrassed when they're caught doing something they shouldn't think about that when is the last time you saw someone blush I believe we're here we're right here before the coming of Christ in the time of apostasy and I believe that's why so many are not ashamed for their sin well here's what I'm gonna do today I'm gonna put up here am I asked this question are you ashamed when it comes to are you ashamed when it comes to st. we live in a really really weird world a very strange world a world which no longer preaches against sin in fact they preach against the band who preaches against sin when you stand up and he says sin is evil the Bible says this is a sin and that is a say that this is the same people say you're bigoted you intolerant rascal you devil you sexist you human misogynist you and they start calling you names when all you do is say yeah but the Bible says this is sin and they say no you are the sinner because you're not tolerant of what we do what you do is your business but the Bible says that this that the other thing is sin and you can't control my speech you can't tell me that I can't talk about what sin is but we live in an age where people are more ashamed of the preacher exposing sin than they are of the sin itself well even a day an angel many people are practicing sin that is so awful and so wicked it's so vile that that it's just disgusting to even think about that sin I won't mention what the sin is I'm sure you can imagine but I got up this morning there and I like to read the news every morning on the internet and I usually do that and I I read WorldNetDaily and how in California they're trying to pass a law and in that law it's so vague that the law wants to say that homosexuality is not a sin and that any person or any literature that is against that lifestyle is Baigent and people are starting wake up and go well then you're banning the Bible aren't you and so California is trying to pass a law banning the Bible because the Bible says that homosexuality is sin now you look at that you go wow wow what a world we live in there's no shame for the sin no it's called gay pride they all march in the streets and say we do this thing have you ever thought about the thing that they do it's disgusting it's vile it's gross it's oiling yourself with with fecal matter it's it's it's getting buildings defiling yourself the Bible says it's eating yourself dirty it really is a problem and that's why so many today end up with with medical problems I asked a doctor not too long ago what is the thing that you see as a doctor what is the that most just the biggest outbreak or the worst disease or the thing that you're battling with the most as a doctor and the doctor says in these last 5 10 15 years the biggest thing that we deal with day after day after day is colon rectal cancer and I said what why is that he says because of the rise of homosexuality in America everyone is coming down with cancer of their rectum now I don't want to go into that that's all I really need to say about it isn't it doesn't the Bible say you reap what you sow be sure your sin will find you out you see you're doing something the Bible says is shameful and you ought to be ashamed of it but you're not so God says oh so you're not ashamed time well how about when you get cancer and you end up dying from your sin are you gonna be ashamed of it no most people are more ashamed of a man like me telling the truth that if you live that lifestyle then that's what's gonna happen to you and I don't want to see that I love you I don't want to see you die I don't want to see you die before before your time I've read somewhere that people who engage in a homosexual lifestyle live something like 20-30 years shorter lifespans the people who don't you don't hear people talking about that it's a shame it's a crying shame that people live a shorter lifestyle for doing that but when you talk like that you're the bad guy because you're putting light on what that really is they don't want that they want the darkness they want to do their sin look at this go to Ezra chapter 9 and verse 6 let me show you an Old Testament verse so what I'm seeing in the world today is in the world in which we live today it's so sad so very sad because today people don't want to think about sin so when you speak up and say hey guess what what you're doing is sin they say don't you dare talk to me like that don't you dare tell me that what I do is sin how dare you and what they don't want is they don't want to be ashamed yet these very same people I've talked to them many times over the over the the last 20 years or so I've come across on the sexuals and and I always ask them the first thing I ask homosexual is I say so you want to call yourself gay gay means happy are you really happy I've yet not once ever talked to a homosexual in which they answered yes to that question they all kind of put their head down and say not really I say tell me why and they said well I enjoy my sin but it makes me feel bad afterwards okay so why do you do it well I just can't quit okay well and yet they don't blush there's there's no shame in answer chapter 9 and verse 6 it says and God said all right and said oh my god I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee my god for our iniquities are increased over our head and our trespasses grown up up to the heavens isn't that interesting here in Ezra the people of Israel were in captivity and they come out and they're saying God we're sorry we're sorry and they blush because they were so ashamed do you see anyone blushing nowadays unfortunately no go to Jeremiah chapter 6 this is many years later after Israel went back into apostasy and look at what Jeremiah says about his people Israel so sad Jeremiah 6:16 actually 15 were they ashamed when they had committed abomination nay they were not at all ashamed neither could they blush therefore they shall fall among them that fall at the time that I visited them they should cast down saith the Lord God said they felt so far in descended that they they can't even blush I think that's called searing your conscience when you give yourself so much to sin that you can't stop then you you're no longer you know a free will person you're like a junkie you you've got to have morning and that's when you begin to hurt yourself and hurts others that's when do you become a servant to sin and that's when you lose the ability to blush and that's what's so sad are you ashamed when it comes to sin there's a lot of sin out there a lot of sin are you ashamed I could go on talking about different sins and maybe I should I have a family member that I love that recently was divorced and now they they told me they don't ever want to get married again they're just gonna go out and fornicate and shack up with people and I said yeah but that's that's sin I don't care it's my life I'll do what I want they say and I said but don't you understand God says don't do that they don't even blush they just do whatever they want it's so sad to see how far the society as a whole has gone down the wrong way into sin so much you don't even see people blush anymore they go do things that the Bible says is wrong and they don't feel bad about it's so sad how about you is there sin in your life that you do but you ought to be sad for how about yourself how about yourself righteousness do you have any shame when it comes to you let's go to Psalms 119 verse 78 another thing that I've seen in this world of which we live in is there's a lot of people that are prideful and they become so into themselves and so prideful that they don't care about anyone else did you know the first sand was pride did you know the devil sent first look at what Psalms 119 78 says let the proud be ashamed for they dealt perversely with me without a cause but I meditate in that prescient precepts here's David writing one of the Psalms he says you know what prideful people ought to be they ought to be ashamed you know people when they become self-righteous they become full of pride before they become proud they become full of pride and a prideful person doesn't blush why is that because the person that's full of prize is someone that thinks I'm it I'm everything I have a ride I have achieved I am the Grand Poobah I am I it's all about me I'm up here and everyone else is down there I am the greatest that ever lived you can't tell a person like that anything they think they're right and everybody else is wrong how did they ever come to shame well it's very hard for a person like that to be ashamed joan 41:34 is talking about Leviathan the whole chapter of joke 41 and Leviathan of course is a type of Satan I believe he's a real creature that the Lord is talking about there and joke 41 probably a brontosaurus or a Brachiosaurus or something like that it's talking about what it does but it's in type Satan and in job 41 34 it says that Satan is the king or Leviathan is the king of all the children of pride that's a verse that I read a long time ago and then I had another brother in Bible school that told me brother I want to ask you a question and I said yeah brother what is it he says who's the king of all the children of pride I guess it's safe yeah let me show you that in joke 41:34 when I saw that I said wow well when you become a self righteous person full of pride you know who you are you're you're in the devil's favorite person because that's what the devil wants the devil wants everybody to be full of pride just like him it's a shame pride is a horrible thing but yet you go to schools today guess what they teach in schools fifteen it's all about you you think about yourself feel good about yourself if you just feel good about yourself all the time then what are you going to miss out on blushing and feeling ashamed and the self-esteem doctrine is all about how great you are feel good about yourself and it leads you to doing whatever you want and don't worry about anything else the bible does not teach self-esteem the Bible teaches do right and it's not about you it's about others first good first Timothy chapter 3 I think it's so sad because we see many today who claim to be Christians even that fall into Pride and then become so prideful that they think they're right and everybody else is wrong and then they begin to do bad things and they don't feel bad about it because they justify in their mind what they've done in other words they formed this idea in their head that oh well it's okay that I did this when the God says no that's not okay that's sin and that's what pride will do pride will deceive you into thinking that you're doing right when you're actually doing wrong what his Bible say about a pastor or a husband first Timothy 3 verse 4 and in 1st Timothy 3 for we read one that ruleth well his own his own house having his children in subjection with all gravity verse 5 for if a man know not how to rule his own house how shall he take care of the Church of God verse 6 not a novice lest being lifted up with pride he should fall into the condemnation of the devil it's actually talking about a bishop verse 1 a pastor and how a pastor should be someone who is not full of pride it's someone who's understood some things someone who's humble who's gone through some things maybe he's passed through some things in his past and has learned how to have some shame and how to overcome that pride is a horrible thing let's go to James 4:6 I see a lot of people in the world today that claim to be Christians that are full of pride you know what God says they'll be ashamed because a prideful person only thinks that themselves you know prideful person his mantra is me first you next more like me first you next maybe but a true Christian is someone that puts others before themselves let's go to James chapter 4 verse 6 what does Bible say should we have pride No verse 6 says but he giveth more grace wherefore he say if God resisteth the proud but giveth grace to the humble submit yourselves to God verse 7 resist the devil and he will flee from you now go to first Peter 5:5 1st Peter 5:5 likewise ye younger submit yourselves unto the elder yea all of you be subject one to another and be clothed with humility for God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble are you a prideful person look what it says verse 6 humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time if you are full of pride you know what you ought to be you gotta be ashamed of yourself you ought to be ashamed proverbs 11:2 you say well I'm not ashamed I all right well one of these days your shame is coming you know there's a lot of promises in the Bible that if a person becomes full of pride God will knock them down proverbs chapter 11 and verse 2 so that's why it's good to humble yourself before God has to do it for you proverbs chapter 11 verse 2 says when pride cometh then cometh shame but with the lowly is wisdom the person gets full of pride you mark her down the Bible says there's gonna be some shame coming and you're gonna be ashamed eventually because a prideful person is a person that only is in the flesh and the Bible says that no flesh should glory in his sight God will put you in your place if you think you're better than everybody else and it's all about you and you're the greatest you're this and you're that if you're putting yourself first and you're puffed up with pride sounds gonna get you boy would you be ashamed I'm just trying to warn you because I love you I don't want to see you fall I don't want to see you following the snare of the devil I want you to get rid of your pride humble yourself so the question is are you ashamed if your pride how about this one how about of your strife now maybe you're not a stressful person I hope not but I've met a lot of people that claim to be Christians then are most of them are this way because they're full of pride and a prideful person will almost always stir up strife let's go to Psalms chapter 15 actually is it Psalms 15 or proverbs I have Psalms written down let's look that up might be proverbs 15 18 Psalms 15 18 or proverbs which one is it but you mark it down when a guy gets so puffed up full of pride the first thing he's going to do is try to be contentious with others and he likes to attack other people must be proverbs because there's no 1518 so let's go to proverbs 15 18 that's why God doesn't like someone who's prideful God doesn't want a person to be full of pride because that always brings contention and strife proverbs 15 18 says a wrathful man stir up strife but he that is slow to anger appease a--the strife so a person who is wrathful what is a wrathful person a person whose quick to get angry who gets angry those that are prideful you've got in your Bible Matthew Mark Luke and John in those books it's all about Jesus in his earthly ministry and everywhere Jesus goes he talks to the Pharisees he tells them the truth and over and over reading the Bible and they were filled with anger and they were mad and they wanted to stone him they wanted to kill him they were so full of pride that they did not want to receive instruction and they wanted to lash out in anger toward others that's what a person does who's full of pride they not only hurt themselves they hurt other people as well let's go to first Corinthians chapter 6 I've seen something lately and I think this is so sad that there are people out there that are Christians and they're fighting against each other and I think they're so sad to see one person that claims to be Christian fighting against another person who claims to be a Christian how sad that's not what the Bible says you should be or do I preached recently a a message I guess this is about two weeks ago argue a good example and I showed how a true example of Christian is somebody who doesn't fight or cause contentions or stirs up strife with others that's not what we're told to do in the Bible as Christians but I was looking at these people how they fight and fight and fight and one of them came out and said man I'm so angry with this person they've you know wrathful not slow to wrath but wrathful they get angry quickly and they said I'm going to go to the law I'm gonna get a lawyer and I'm gonna have to take this person to court and I thought to myself how sad how sad what does the Bible say about that well first Corinthians chapter 6 look what it says verse 56 1 through 8 there any of you having a matter against another go to law before the unjust and not before the Saints - do you not know that the Saints shall judge the world and if the world should be judged by you are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters no you not that we shall judge angels how much more things that pertain to this life verse 4 if then you have judgments of things pertaining to this life set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church verse 5 I speak this to your shame the Apostle Paul saying how shameful how utterly shameful that to Christians that have a problem would want to go to the Lost relate the lost devils court system and say you judge over us and tell us which one is right that is an outright shame the Bible says you're not supposed to go to law with another person as a Christian you're supposed to go to other Christians and ask them to help you work it out I speak this to your shame look what it says in verse five is it so that there is not a wise man among you know not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren 6 my brother go with the love of brother and that before the unbelievers Paul says why would Christians go to unbelievers and ask them to pass judgment on them the unbelievers whether the followers of Satan so let's go to Satan in the Satan's court system and ask him to fix it that doesn't make sense verse 7 now therefore there is utterly a fault among you because you go to law one with another why do you not rather take wrong why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded knave or say you do wrong and defraud and that your brother Apostle Paul says it is shameful for Christians to call strife with other Christians and even more shameful when they are fighting so much that one of them says and I'm going to go to the law against you you mean you're gonna go to the unsaved and ask the unsaved to do something so that's your head why don't you go to God Paul says it's a shame it's a shame to me to see such as that let's go to 2nd Thessalonians 2nd Thessalonians it's very sad to see people that claim to be Christians and they're not even following the scriptures they can't claim to believe in second Thessalonians here's another thing in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 3 look what it says here starting in in verse oh let's go ahead and start at verse 1 finally brothers pray for us that the word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified even as it is with you now verse 2 look what it says here and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men for all men have not faith Paul says there's some unreasonable wicked people out there pray for us he doesn't say I'm gonna go to the law against them no he says there's some people out there that are wicked we're sorry but the Lord is faithful who shall stand she would keep you from evil for and we have confidence the Lord touching you that you both do and will do the things which we commanded you and the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God into the patient waiting for Christ number six now we command you brother in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you would draw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly and not after the tradition which you received of us if there's somebody out there that's a brother in Christ or claims to be saved and they're disorderly you don't go after them and attack them and put them in you just say okay forget them and you just withdrawal yourself why why do you would draw yourself from such people verse 10 for even when we were with you this we commanded you that if any would not work neither should he eat 11 for we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly working not at all but our busy busy bodies what's a busybody someone that is busy in their own body going out of their way to bother you for no reason their backbiters now verse 12 now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ that with quietness they work and eat their own bread 13 says but ye brethren be not weary in well-doing now verse 14 and if any man will be not a reward by this epistle note that man have no company with him that he may be what ashamed if you're a busybody who spends your time and just wanting to argue or maybe even attack or put down or name-call or cause contention with other Christians you're a sorry-sorry person you know what God says through the Apostle Paul he says you ought to be ashamed of yourself as a busybody why are you doing that and then wanting to go to the devil's court system in the unsafe secular world and try to get them to pass judgment on another brother in Christ shameful you got to be ashamed well let's look at another one go with me in Ephesians chapter 5 he's in Chapter five I'll call this one speaking you know there's some things that you can do in the Bible with your mouth that are ashame these in chapter 5 verse 12 says this and I want to talk about this because this is something that we are seeing in our day and I'll explain that to you here in a minute but if he does happen for chapter 5 and verse 12 for it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret the Bible says it's a shame to talk about things that people have done in secret I assume that it's talking about sin it's it's a shame to talk about the sins that people do in secret we have a president named Donald Trump in the United States of America I'm not going to give you my opinion of the man but I will say I watch the news I like to know what's going on in the world so from time to time I'll go onto the news and look to see what's happened well the last couple weeks the news media has come out and the news media has announced that they've come across a a woman who is a porn star what does that mean that means a harlot according to the Bible someone that sells her body for money and she's come out said that she has engaged in sexual relations with the president and she went on several secular news shows and began to talk about it and tell people and he looks like this when he's naked and he did this with me and he's indented and when I look at that kind of stuff I want to puke it's so shameful it's horrible it's wicked to talk about those things the Bible says it's a shame to speak of those things which have done of them in secret but where's the shame there's not any your so-called news media of today Thanks that's news and the soul the whole world is so wicked and ungodly that they don't think it's a shame or shameful to talk about those things it's shameful for me as a father I can't let my girls listen to the news when that's what's on the news it's horrible how can I let my children listen to the news when that's what passes for news it's gossip it's not news you say well it really happen who cares if it happened it's a shame to speak of those things which are done of them a secret the news media today is engaging in shameful practices and it's horrible I remember when I was up oh in my early 20s and my dad said hey let's go out to California and visit my sister and I said okay dad let's go visit your sister in California and my grandmother went and we all went out there to visit and we were with my uncle my my aunt's husband and we all got in the truck he said let me drive you around and show you where we live here in California we're driving in the truck now get this my father his brother-in-law and me in the back seat and my uncle turns on rush limbaugh now this was in the 1990s I'm about to tell you about the most uncomfortable uncomfortable moment in my entire life you say what was your most uncomfortable moment in your entire life I'll tell you we're driving down the road in California listening to Rush Limbaugh as runs Limbaugh begins to report on what the President of the United States did with Monica Lewinsky and for a solid hour he goes into how in the Oval Office which he called the aural office they engaged in this sexual act in which this woman did this thing to the president and I just remember feeling this is the most horrible thing and not only is it disgusting it's shameful to talk about these things on the radio and they are you sit there and you just my dad sitting right there I'm having to listen to this stuff with my dad and I remember none of us said a word for a whole hour and it was the most uncomfortable time i've ever been in life sitting there thinking my gosh this is sick this is sick what that man did and what's more sick than anything else is I have to sit here and I can't get out of this calmer and I have to listen when the Bible says it's a shame to speak of those things which are done of them in secret you know what the worst shame is that it happened that the leader of this country would engage in such a shameful act and you know if you remember what happened what did he say he says well you know it's no big deal and they said well did you do that he says well it depends on what your definition of is is and it came out that he did engage in sexual activity it's called adultery because the man was married at the time in the White House and he was impeached it was shameful what he did what's the biggest shame is the fact that they're speaking about they're saying things about things like we shouldn't talk about that I should not have to listen to the tawdry details of fornicators sitting next to my father that was very uncomfortable it was a shame to me to have to listen to that is it a shame to you you might be watching this video you might be engaging in fornication or adultery you might be living that sort of lifestyle is it a shame to you go to proverbs chapter 18 verse 13 proverbs 18:13 I don't want to go too long today but I just want I want to ask you is anything a shame anymore you know a lot of people might listen to this ago ha ha ha that's funny no it's not funny it's sick that a man would do such an immoral act and what's worse is that people would talk about it and not feel bad that they're talking about something that's shameful it's a shame to talk about those things I can't let my kids listen to something like that so you go to proverbs chapter 18 and verse 13 look what the Bible says here's another thing that's a shame he didn't answer at the matter before you hear it it is a folly and a shame unto Him so it's a shame to speak about things that you shouldn't but it's also a shame when you say things that aren't true it's a shame to talk about things that are tawdry and evil and wicked giving away the details and it's a shame to answer a matter look at what it says there before he hears it it is a shame unto Him there's someone on YouTube that has attacked Robert breaker and that's fine I don't care about that kind of stuff I've got better things to do people send me from time to time videos and say watch this this guy said this about you and I said you know I'm too busy too busy studying Bible to look at what so-and-so says about me but this one time I said well okay I'll just watch what so-and-so says and so-and-so was it was just incredible to me how this person made a video in which they lied through their teeth and said that Robert breaker was kicked out of Bible school and didn't graduate and I look at that and I said Wow Wow proverbs 18:13 someone's saying something that's not true answering a matter and they didn't even know what they were talking about I said wonder why they would slander wonder why they would lie you know what that is right there diploma a diploma from the Pensacola Bible Institute that I graduated from it's interesting why person would outright lie you know what it is when a person lies it's a shame is it ashamed of that person what should be I mean I'm still waiting for an apology I mean they said it publicly so I'm just hoping publicly they'll they'll say you know I was wrong I lied about this person and said something about them that wasn't true will they get it right I don't know but it's a shame it's a shame that they would say something like that there are things that you could say with your mouth that are a shame now the question is is it shameful to you first Peter chapter 3 and verse 16 Lewis says having a good conscience though whereas they speak evil of you as of evildoers they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ if some somebody says something about you that's not true they ought to be a now the question is Farley sadly we live in a day and age where less and less people are ashamed more and more and more people think that lying is a good thing and more and more people are engaged in lying and many of them they read this book over here which is by the way one of the books that the Democrats like to follow it's called rules for radicals if you read this book rules for radicals by Saul Alinsky it's all about how you label your enemy say things about them that aren't true basically throw anything you can to them and just hope something sticks so just lie through your teeth and don't ever feel bad about it the end justifies the means that's the rules for radicals that's the book that Hillary Clinton follows that's the book that many of your so-called Republican so-called politicians follow today and nowadays people don't care if you lie when I was a kid if you told a lie that was a shameful thing that was a horrible thing to do not even at home but in in school in church anywhere I was telling the live was wrong and if you told a lie it was a shame that when you got exposed for the liner that you were for telling a lie people would say good yeah you shouldn't get away with that it's not right to say things about people that aren't sure good Titus chapter 2 verse eight times to eight says sound speech this is how we're to speak sound speech that cannot be condemned then he that is that the contrary part may be ashamed having no evil thing to save you if someone says something about you that's not true and they speak evil of you they say something evil or mean or hateful that's not right they ought to be ashamed so I wonder if this fellow that said something about me was ashamed probably not probably doesn't care probably doesn't care that he tried to slander me and say things about me that aren't true you know I can say I don't care but I get email after email after email of from people saying my brother breaker why would you say that is it true why why would he say something and I say well it just sounds like he's trying to answer a matter before he studies it out hello this one are you ashamed when it comes to suffering let's go to Acts chapter 5 I got an email not too long ago from a young Christian got saved watching my videos and they said brother breaker I've I'm scared I'm scared to go tell people about Jesus and I'm trying to do it and the other day I I went out and I told some family members about it and and then I said and they just laughed and mocked at me and put me down and made fun of me and it just made me feel feel so bad and they said I felt ashamed and I said well don't feel ashamed you told them the truth never feel bad when you tell someone the truth and they said yeah but I was suffering I said here's what the Bible says about that you want to know what the Bible says Acts chapter 5 verse 41 and they departed from the presence of the council rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name if you were telling people about Jesus and giving them the gospel and showing them the truth of salvation pointing them to the blood of Christ and someone attacks you you ought to say glory to God I'm not ashamed that someone attacks me on YouTube or says something about me that's not true as a matter of fact it makes me happy it makes me realize hey amen I'm doing the right thing otherwise I wouldn't be attacked it was the Bible say about that that you don't need to be ashamed when someone attacks you the person that should be ashamed is them so when you're witnessing to other people don't be ashamed don't be ashamed look what it says in in 1st Peter 4:16 1st Peter 4:16 yet if any man suffers as a Christian let him not be ashamed but let him glorify God on this behalf I've told people many times you know so-and-so lied about me said things that aren't true and instead of that being shameful and making me feel bad it's like they pinned a badge of honor right here on my chest to me it's an honor for you to put me down it's an honor for you to lie about me it's an honor for you to say things that aren't true about me because Who am I just some guy that preaches the gospel you're not attacking me you're attacking the gospel you're attacking the Scriptures what the Bible says and I'll wear your attack is a badge of honor and say thank you Jesus I rejoice that I'm getting slack and getting attacked because I'm doing it for the cause of Christ 2nd Timothy chapter 1 verse 8 look what it says here be not there now thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord nor of me his prisoner but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the Gospel according to the power of God you see if you're gonna be attacked make sure your attacks for the gospel you see I preach the gospel of 1st Corinthians 15 1 through 4 I tell people it's all about what Jesus did if someone's gonna attack me for that then I say praise God I'm not ashamed because that's what we're supposed to preach and that's why it says there in verse 8 not to be ashamed of the testimony of the Lord preach the gospel and there will be afflictions there will be people that don't preach the gospel that attack you just take it as a badge of honor now even more verse 12 verse 12 Paul says for the which cause I also suffer these things nevertheless I'm not ashamed for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I committed to him under him against that day I'm not ashamed of people lying about me and saying things that aren't true because I'm a follower of Jesus and this is persecution this is affliction because I'm preaching the right thing so I enjoy it I appreciate it I really got told people that before hey I appreciate your criticisms it helps me to look at myself and see huh is there is there really something I've done that I should be ashamed of and when I look at what they say and I look at what the Bible says and I look at myself I say huh they ought to be ashamed they ought to be ashamed because what they're saying isn't true sounds like to me they're saying it out of anger and meanness and pride rather than speaking the truth in love as the Bible well what about this one second Timothy 2:15 got a question are you ashamed when it comes to study are you studying the Bible a lot of people tell me brother breaking on and work hard and I come home and I listen to your videos and I go well that's great but when do you take time to read the Bible yourself well I just I don't have time to do that so I watch your videos that's it and I say oh great I want you to learn but you also need to spend some of your own time with the Lord reading and studying the Word of God the Bible says the 2nd Timothy 2:15 study to show thyself approved unto God we're gonna need not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth a workman that needeth not to be ashamed why is it so important to study because studying will help you to know certain things study will help you to rightly divide but studying will also help you to see how a Christian is supposed to act and to help you in your daily life how you're to treat other people I can tell when a person is reading their Bible or not when a person begins to get angry and mean and hateful and attacks and name calls and lies and says things about others I look at that and go well that guy's not reading this Bible because if he was the Bible says you're not supposed to do that you know how many verses there are in the Bible in the New Testament in Paul's epistles that tells us how we're supposed to treat other Christians and when they're not doing that then I just say okay so they're not reading their Bible because if they were they would obey the Scriptures but look at first that's the longest chapter for first Thessalonians chapter 4 verse 11 and 12 look what it says here 1st Thessalonians 4:11 and that you study be quiet and to do your own business in the work with your own hands as we commanded verse 12 that you may walk honestly toward them that are without and that you may have lack of nothing if you would study the scriptures read them understand them put into effect what you're reading then the Bible says that will help you to walk honestly you see it's dishonest to lie about people but if you study and you find out what the Bible says about how you're supposed to live then you can walk on this now there's a lot more I'd like to say about study but I want to get this done number seven how about salvation so my last point this is my last question are you ashamed when it comes to the doctrine of Salvage in other words are you preaching right are you preaching the right gospel the right way to be saved and or are you believing right go to first Corinthians chapter 15 I've met people in my life they claim to be Christians and these people have changed what they used to preach when it comes to salvation and now they're preaching a bloodless gospel rather than the blood-stained gospel of 1st Corinthians 15 one through four and look at those people I said well why aren't they weren't they ashamed why aren't they ashamed because they're preaching a different gospel what's wrong with that well 1st Corinthians 15 verse 34 says this awake to righteousness and sin not for how some have not the knowledge of God I speak this to your shame all right when it comes to salvation Paul says right there there's some people out there they don't even know what salvation is he says they ought to be ashamed so the first point I want to make with this one it would come to salvation is there's people that ought to be ashamed because they've stopped preaching the gospel or they don't they don't preach the gospel you know a lot of these people that attacked me on YouTube some of my viewers watch them I tell them why do you waste your time and they just say well you know I'm just curious what they have to say I said well you help yourself you know you don't need to be them you don't need to act like them you don't need to attack them like they attack me please don't do that I've never told anyone to go attack someone else and I never will but you know what they all tell me when they email me they say brother breaker that person never mentions first Corinthians 15 1 through 4 they never go to Romans 3:25 or Romans 5:11 they claim to be a Bible believer and the teacher just like you they claim to be a King James Bible believe what they even claim to be a follower of you know the person that you studied under a Bible School yet they never devote their time to preaching of the gospel know what the Bible says about that that would be ashamed you see when I started preaching here on YouTube three and a half almost four years ago my desire was to take to the whole world the message of salvation because I want to see people saved and once they get saved I want to see them learn the Bible it was a great shame to me to see how many people in the world are lost and so I said Lord would you please use this so I can get the gospel to the Lost dying world I'm not ashamed of the gospel are you sure I see other people on YouTube and you know how few videos they have which they teach the gospel and I just look at that now to go and they ought to be ashamed they've got a platform in which they can go to the entire world alright you've got that platform you can go to the entire world okay you go to the entire world and there's one thing God said to do preach the gospel and they don't do it you talk about sad why are you missing that opportunity Romans chapter 1 verse 16 look what Paul says I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ where is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth to the Jew first and also to the Greek Paul says I'm not ashamed so you go to Romans chapter 10 verse 11 the Bible says that salvation is by faith Romans 10 11 for the scripture says whoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed it's all about believing you're saved by believing you're saved by faith and unless you have that faith unless you believe in what in the blood then you should be ashamed so I say there's some men out there to claim to be preachers and teachers they ought to be ashamed because they're not mentioning the blood they're not mentioning the gospel they're not teaching how to be saved in fact some of them are even saved you're not saved by faith well they're mixing in making themselves a gospel of faith then works that's not what the Bible says romans 9 33 as is written behold I lay in Zion a somewhat stumbling stone and rock of offense and whosoever believe Oh believeth on him should not be ashamed so salvation isn't by the works it's by whether or not you believe and when you believe in the right thing the blood of Christ then you're not ashamed I'm not ashamed of what I preach I'm not ashamed of the gospel first Corinthians 15 1 through 4 I'm not ashamed of the blood of Christ I wrote 24 hour mix write 25 there I'm not ashamed and every video I do just about every single one there might be just a couple that I forgot to mention first Corinthians 15 at 1 through 4 but in almost every video I make I put this gospel in because I see that that's the most important thing in the entire world and I want people to get saved by believing the gospel I'm not ashamed aren't they we're in Romans let's go to Romans chapter 6 they ought to be ashamed because they don't preach the gospel rubbish chapter 6 verse 21 through 23 what fruit had you then and these things wherever you are now ashamed for the end of these things is death you see when you're preaching the gospel you see fruit what fruit do you have it says verse 22 but now being made free from Santa become servants of God you have your fruit of the holiness unto the end everlasting life the fruit of preaching the you receive that free gift of eternal life how by your works by telling everybody how great you are you self-righteous pharisee and and how how your flesh you do all these things and then what do you do you devote your time to causing strife among the Brethren and you speak lies about other brothers in Christ and then you tell those people you live out that they ought to be ashamed of themselves you ought to be ashamed for not preaching the free gift of eternal life by grace through faith are you ashamed Daniel chapter 12 Daniel chapter 12 the Bible says God is going to judge the quick and the dead someday there'll be a resurrection at the end of the millennium and the dead shall rise and go to the great white throne the judgment look what it says in Daniel chapter 12 and verse 2 Daniel 12:2 and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake some to everlasting life eternal life and some to shame and everlasting contempt there is an everlasting life there's also everlasting or eternal shame I'll tell you what someone who claims to be a Christian and devotes their time to doing things that aren't Christian and they're not suffering for Jesus they're not studying they're not devoting their time to preaching salvation if they're lost and I don't know if they are I don't have the ability to claim who's saving who's not so I don't ever try but if they are lost not only are they ashamed now in the eyes of God and it's shameful that they're not preaching the gospel they're going to be an everlasting shame and for all eternity they're gonna burn in the fiery smokestacks of a devil's hell and the flames of Hell will lick their never dying soul for all eternity as they burn and they cry out to God and so god I'm sorry and go say yeah yeah it's a shame that you're there because you could have gotten saved let me close with Philippians chapter 1 look I don't like mentioning these people that attack me but here's why I did mention them it's not me that they hurt it's other Christians that they hurt I get email after email after email of other Christians that are crying and saying brother breaker why do these people have to be so mean and say such horrible things why are they so shameful and they just don't care I say I don't know but that's on them I don't want to be ashamed I want to make sure that I am faithful preaching and teaching correctly Philippians chapter 1 verse 12 the Apostle Paul says this and I want to be a follower of Paul Philippians 1:12 says but I would you should understand brother the things which happen into me have flown out rather into the furtherance of the gospel I want to be the guy that preaches the gospel so that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace and in all other places 14 and many of the brothers in Lord waxing confident by my bonds are much more bold to speak the word without fear you see that's what I want to do I want to speak the Word of God and be bold and giving you the gospel that saves by faith and I believe I have been 700 something videos on YouTube and I try to point people to Christ crucified the gospel 1st Corinthians 15 1 through 4 the blood atonement of Christ now verse 14 and many of the brothers of the Lord waxy confident by my bonds are much more bold to speak the word without fear 15 some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife and some also of good will the one preach Christ of contention not sincerely supposing to add affliction to my bonds and that funny they claim to be preachers of the gospel but all they wanted to do was hurt Paul hurt another Christian and call strife I don't do that I don't see that in the Bible where my preaching is to be mean to others no it's to tell people how to get saved could care less what other people do that's putting them in the Lord but it says in verse 16 the one preach Christ of contention not sincerely supposed to add affliction to my bonds verse 17 but the other of love knowing that I'm set for the defense of the gospel what then verse 18 notwithstanding every way whether in pretence aren't truth Christ is preached and I rejoice and I therein do rejoice in yay I will rejoice I rejoice when a man preaches the gospel but boy is it sad when they don't and it's a shame when they lose that opportunity every video you make ought to be giving the gospel to the lost and dying world or teaching something to Christians from the scriptures how many Bible verses do you have in your videos you see what I'm trying to do today is just take you to verse after verse after verse after verse after verse it's not what I say it's what the Bible says verse 19 for I know that this will turn my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the spirit of Jesus Christ according to my earnest expectation and my hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed but that with all boldness as always so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body whether it be my by life or by death Paul says I have nothing to be ashamed of because I've always made it about the gospel other people make it about me Paul says but I'm not important it's all about what Jesus did so I want to be true following Paul look what he says here in verse 27 only let your conversation be as I've become with the gospel of Christ that whether I come and see you or else the apse and I may hear of your affairs that you stand fast in one spirit with one mind striving together not striving against each other not causing strife but striving together for the faith of the gospel and in nothing terrified by your adversaries which is to them an evident token of perdition but to you of salvation and that of God 29 for unto you it is given on the behalf of Christ not only believe on him but also to suffer for his name's sake having the same conflict which you saw me and now here to be in me so the Apostle Paul says it's all about the gospel it's all about whether or not you're faithful in preaching that and pointing people to Christ and him crucified so there it is there's the message today and as I asked you earlier in the beginning of this message I ask again are you shamed is there anything up here on this board that you just might be guilty of that you ought to be ashamed of hmm you know I tried to make it as broad as I could with many different points maybe you're full of sin and you're not ashamed you're openly living in sin why don't you get right right now watch your pit get down on your knees and say god I'm sorry and I want to do better help me how about you are you one of those like number two that only cares about yourself and not others really well maybe you need to get out on your knees and say god I'm ashamed of myself I'm full of pride and I'm sorry how about number three if you ever call strife with another Christian are you a busybody do you spend your time trying to get into the affairs of others you ought to be ashamed how about number four have you ever said anything about someone that's not true you ever spoken evil about them said things lies about them spoke in an anger against them you don't be ashamed how about number five are you ashamed of suffering for Jesus I'm not I embrace it I said thank you Jesus for my detractors for my attackers they point me to you even more because the more they attacked me the more I want you to be glorified because it's not about me how about studying are you studying the scriptures are you teaching the truth and how about the last one are you saved well there's the message I hope it's a blessing thank
