so my daughter came running up and she was like mommy there's a bunch of bees on the ground and i'm like what where and i honestly don't know if they've come from our apiary i did all my checks and i swear i didn't see any more queen cells but regardless there's a bunch of bees on the ground and it's supposed to rain and it's gonna get cold a few days prior i did see a swarm of bees up in the tree but they were way too high and there was just no way that we could get them and i figured that maybe they would go try to find one of our swarm traps that we have located around the property and i was just gonna wait and check and see if they were gonna make a new home for themselves but apparently they didn't so i placed a nuke box down and put a couple of frames in it i've got another one here that has a little bit of drawn out comb what i'm hoping to do is have the bees kind of march onto the frame so i could at least get an eye to see if i can catch the queen or not and we are really close to it being dark so i am gonna do my best to hurry up and try to get get her before we lose them they're all marching on this frame which is just fine because what i'm gonna do is basically take this entire frame put it in this nuke box and then that'll entice these girls to actually climb in but if i've happened to find her i'll gladly put her in the clip and safely make sure that she is in the nuke box that's my goal and there she is right there can you see her there she is hello beautiful would you like to be rescued i promise i'll take good care of you whether you were one of mine or not i'll give you a good home okay my daughter and she is safe and sound all right girls can you see her in there kind of hard to see but she's in there there she is i know i know i know all right girlies and if i can get them to go in that's all i care about right now i do have a second clean clip just in case if i happen to see another queen but i really i only saw one and i just cannot believe that my daughter found them and i'm so glad that she was able to tell me because these poor little girls were not gonna make it um we are due for rain and there's just there's no way there's no way that they would have made it um you know and i don't know how long they've been on the ground these sweet little girls are just hanging on to that piece of grass i promise i'm gonna get you guys in there don't worry um i'm not going to hurt you just want to get the rest of your sisters in their home she's gonna be gentle and then hopefully we're gonna get all the other girls to follow they're clean once the pheromones start to be released um they'll all go in you can hear they're already certain fans i told you i was gonna save you and that is what i love to see so these girls are now letting everyone know all their sisters that hey the queen is in here she's gonna be okay come follow us love when their butts are up in the air good job girls get your sisters home um i think it's safe to say that she's gonna be just fine all right mother queen you can get off this queen clip go be with your girls good job the scent is still on the queen clip that's why they're hanging around that but she's been released and uh i think they're happy [Music] um um thank you guys for watching and as always don't be afraid to get your hands dirty and learn something old you
