fill her up you're listening to the gas digital network conceive believe achieve shut the [ __ ] [Applause] up [Applause] this is believe you me on the gas digital network all right guys friday morning believe you me michael bisping luz jay gomez how are you buddy what up son how you doing man i'm i'm feeling good i'm feeling good at this week obviously i got back on monday from abu dhabi still fights happening out there we'll get into the whittaker till fight card later of course but uh i was exhausted you know jet lag i've haven't had a good night's sleep this week to be honest but i feel like i'm slowly adjusting because i was on completely different times on 11 hours difference but i'm slow i've got a little more energy today i'm a little more upbeat and we're back i'm committed regular shows on time same time every week but yeah i'm good lewis how are you why don't we have we were getting some people being like what's going on guys because that's what happens as soon as the show doesn't come out the regular time i get 30 40 messages on instagram being like one show coming out the fan you guys are the [ __ ] best we had a conversation earlier on today we're both back on our regular schedule mondays and thursdays brand new show every single monday night every single thursday night guaranteed if not we got to give the fans something we got to do something for them we'll have to donate the channel gloves for everybody hey no we got to follow through on that though so anyone who sent something in we're going to do i promise i'll just never happen it's happening let's not waste too much time on that it is because every time we say we're not every time we start talking about it between goes let's not waste too much time on it that's why it's never going to happen everyone yeah yeah it's going to happen i'm going to email imran okay i'm wearing a sandable shirt i'm part of the team i'll tell you right now if you can make bisping uh get the sandable gloves out to everybody you get a free pair of stainable gloves free press animal gloves for every single listener okay skin man's in a good mood he's feeling very generous uh luis you've been telling me that you're gonna move out the city this big new york city slicker image that you have is going to be a thing of the past because you're moving out to the suburbs i think so i've been looking a lot um westchester new jersey just out of the city overall the city is great i spent a long time half my life now i think i was thinking about this the other day i've been in new york city half my life i moved here when i was 19 years old i'm 38 years old um it's a great city though that's a cool city come on it's a really cool city but it is a real grind it is you you give up a lot of things you know what i'm saying like people just sort of like you accept the fact that there's like you know there's litter and there's dirt you know you accept the fact that there's cockroaches and rats running by you you're being like a really beautiful neighborhood and there's just rats everywhere and you're like that's just new york yeah no no no i i always dreamed of living living in new york city it is one of the coolest places on earth of course but i'm sure there is you know the downsides as you say i mean uh the cockroaches and the rats not too keen on that but it's a small place to pay baby for being in the entertainment capital of the world you give up the size of your your home like everyone's living on top of each other super expensive for the same amount of money that i pay for a two bedroom one and a half bathroom in harlem right i was looking in jersey i can get three bedroom two and a half bathroom in-ground pool garage for the same price same price well it's a couple hundred dollars more the place i'm looking at right now is 200 more per month than i'm paying right now and it's just 2 000 square feet i mean it's [ __ ] huge private backyard private i won't even run pool best bang the only people in the world who had inground pools when i was a kid growing up were [ __ ] rich people holding huge people were you poor growing up did i have i told you that i had a rough life when i was a kid did your father die in a brutal attack you've never mentioned this we've got to show this one video of the one guy all right so when you flip that on dan henderson play them if you can even brian uh at one point maybe play it at the end of the show because it's on our twitter for sure watch that um some guy put together a video of you flipping out on dan henderson and he did like the words like he did the um oh subtitles right thank you and it dude it was so fun because i mean you're just [ __ ] losing your mind it's great and then it cuts back to me for a second and i just said i was like maybe i shouldn't have brought it up but my subtitles underneath it said like really long i said something about growing up with a hard life and his mom being dead oh yeah no i think i saw that i think i saw that i'm like this guy's going way off the tangent why is he bringing up the dan henderson thing i'm choosing to forget that be the bigger man and move on we're talking about houses we're talking about the suburbs why is he going up and talking about the show two weeks ago very regrettable language in that episode as well um no dude it's a no-brainer you move to the suburbs think of baby james right i mean i mean what are the advantages what are the pros and cons of living where you are now to living in the suburbs i mean okay you got to travel to work i guess you're going to travel into the city to uh you know do your stand-up gigs what else but i travel into work anyway so i live on the upper west side essentially right and the studios in the east village which is if you get under if you if you look at manhattan as being like let's just say a long rectangle right i'm on the top left hand side of the rectangle the studio is on the bottom right hand side of the rectangle it probably takes me 45 minutes to get down to the studio anyway what are you doing there well what are you doing it's just been convenience to be honest with you it's been being able to do spots in the city every night you know it's yeah you also devel you you sort of here's the thing about new york um with comedy specifically it's probably the same thing with most other forms of art whether you're acting whatever it is right but even things like getting into sales or working on wall street or really any sort of industry you're gonna get into it's highly competitive and i think it drives you to be really great it drives you to because you're holy [ __ ] ladies and gentlemen louis said i want to move i'm going to talk about that now he's digging into what makes him a great comedian and the the struggles that he has and living in the city and being at the top of his competitive game drives him to be great we're like no it's not true listen michael jasmine asked me what's the benefit of living in new york and i just named the benefit and i was giving me [ __ ] for it we're supposed to be talking about why you want to move to the suburbs and now you're talking about what makes you a great comedian guys i'm answering your questions say let's tickle your balls and how great are you meeting you and you are very good by the way you're very good everyone round of applause for lewis please the greatest comedian you'll ever meet the puerto rican rattlesnake in all his glory but still you know back to the moving situation back to the in-ground pool do you want me to answer your question tonight i can't stand you i really can't go on go outside sorry you you you were preaching i was but i mean it really is this is what this the benefit of being in new york city but you know at this point i'm not [ __ ] coming up anymore i'm an old man i go to sleep at nine o'clock at night the city sleeps i sleep like a [ __ ] yeah well there you go uh but yeah no you should move there you know get out think of james stop being selfish something of your career think about little james think about him the ability to bounce a ball to maybe not have a crack head outside injecting himself with heroin because this guy's a cracker and a heroin addict at the same time he likes his uppers and he lights him down your doorstep james is walking out he's seen that in the morning how you know how about instead he goes out he's got mrs smith crossing the street holding the hands there's a lollipop lady you have those in america stopping traffic and everyone's skipping along all happy as larry you know versus crackhead heroin addict at the same time slouched on the step go uh give us a dollar bro right which is the reality you want yeah but the other problem is in the suburbs it's uh it's it's almost falling as it's not even just boring it's like it's it's sort of uh kids in the suburbs are also doing [ __ ] crazy [ __ ] as well they're they're doing drugs and they're having sex earlier i really do much more kids in the city are dealing the drugs okay they're getting shot they're in rap videos they're standing around garbage cans like four or five of them they're warming their hands at night they're singing songs and they're shooting people at the same time yes there might be a little bit of boredom in the suburbs but still you know the greater good it's weird it's almost weird because like in the city you hover over your kids you know what i'm saying like with you like you let lucas go ride his bike in the neighborhood he'll disappear for hours in europe i have no idea where lucas is currently right now rebecca's horse riding i don't know where he is god knows what he's doing out there keeps disappearing down to the the country lane he comes back all wide-eyed empty cans of aerosols and gases on him i don't know what he's doing certainly not sniffing gas no he's next door at lucas's by the way having your sleepover very very excited about that but you're right you do get to give them a little more of a leash but yeah in a weird way though like that's how you get kids get into trouble like my son's never out of my sight now you can't be there all the time hovering over your children you gotta give them a little bit of a free reign let them have free will let them make their own choices in a safe environment i know but the problem is they don't make always the safest choices because they're buying some train tracks and they're [ __ ] putting weird things on the tracks to see the train [ __ ] run over it and then all of a sudden they derail a train and they murder somebody and you're like oh [ __ ] if i was in the city i would have been hovering over him in a park somewhere yeah but you know you know those people had to die lewis there was baby james to grow up in a in a uh a well-balanced environment those people on the train had to die this is going off the rails fast uh but yeah listen move out to the suburbs you'll like it if you guess what if you don't like it you can always move back that's what i said to rebecca i mean uh we were going to move to australia but the training situation wasn't very good at the time it's great now of course robert whittaker main event this weekend adasanya i know he's from uh uh new zealand but you get what i'm saying there's a lot of healthy mixed martial arts out there now mixed martial arts scene out there but yeah the training wasn't there at the time so we came home and i was always saying to my friends we're gonna move and they're like oh shut the [ __ ] up you're not gonna move and i said to rebecca i said hey we ever gonna do this or if we don't do it we're gonna stop talking about it and she goes well i wanna i said well fine [ __ ] it let's do it and we booked a flight right then and there for ten days time and everyone thought we were crazy i said we're gonna go out there if you don't like it guess what planes go the opposite direction as well we can come back and we've been here ever since so lewis do it be bold step into the suburbs i think you'll be okay yeah i'm not thinking about it i'm literally in the process of putting offers in for apartments bisping all right well that's good i'm excited for you housewarming party yeah we'll see what happens i'm excited to to i don't have a car i've been at a car since i was 19 years old you don't know how to drive a car lewis let's be honest you pretend you have a license but you never know i don't pretend i have a license it's been suspended since i was a teenager for half my life i do not have a license okay i carefully drive a car uh but yeah i want to get a car i want to [ __ ] i don't know just have a build a bbq pit in my backyard a fire pit a little fire pit you know sauna oh my god the the possibilities are endless and you'll have an address but you have to protect that address though because people are going to attack you lewis cyber attacks are a real thing people are going to hack your details how do i know because i'm currently under threat okay i'm being attacked on the daily louis you know what they can't attack you for part of me you know what they can't attack you for what for your segways bro i got the trophy segway in there why is your segway why is your segway trophy not behind you you're such a [ __ ] cocky son of a [ __ ] he's got a [ __ ] title he's got a you know a ufc octagon award or whatever the [ __ ] that is it's the hall of fame it's not the ufc octagon award that is the whole ufc hall of fame okay not a giant dildo and that's a little trinket okay although i do hate it i've got a picture of myself behind myself and i've got those two things i'm like it's a little bit arrogant a little bit egotistical i'm going to remove them i'm going to have uh callum's wrestling medals next week there you go you have another man's accolades behind you instead this is your no no but it's a bit it is a bit it's a bit much it's a bit try harder uh it's a bit yeah i saw you on twitter yesterday you tweeted out that somebody was trying to hack you yes i i got notifications on my phone i think i've got a few text messages it was that you oh no no the i got a text message with the verification code so somebody's obviously saying i forgot my email or whatever and they're trying to put it in but they obviously have the two-step authentication authentication authent authentication yeah the two-step two-factor authentication and they send me a text message but the text message is going to me not my would-be hacker so [ __ ] you whoever it is but then also i got a few email text messages as well saying that someone's trying to log into my gmail so currently i'm under attack so i'm like i'm like well hold on a minute so they weren't successful so do i need to change my passport password because right now that password's doing its job they're not getting in and it was like you need to change your password i'm like to what to something easier right now that shit's like fort knox they can't get in they're trying different ways they're going to email they're going to twitter there's no getting past this [ __ ] uh cyber wall basically all right so here's if you want michael password just it's one of his kids names obviously with the first capital [Laughter] the rest of my afternoon now is changing all my passwords to everything you know [ __ ] girl i'm with a capital [Laughter] laughs anyway well we'll guess your [ __ ] password shall we prick base it's definitely closed anyway so these [ __ ] did they try to log in all over the place so i'm like well do i need to change my password because it's doing the job so i was like kind of curious because i'm not you know mr cyber attack speciality guy believe it or not i know people think i have mr cyber attack speciality guy no that was a previous life um so i i tweeted and then my manager audio tower paradigm sports management sends me a text he says mike don't put things like that on twitter because you're inviting the hackers you're giving them a challenge you're throwing down the gauntlet i'm like don't worry about that all you got to do is watch friday's [ __ ] episode lewis is gonna [ __ ] publicize it to the entire world no need to guess all you need yeah i mean like i guess sort of but it's like i think any celebrity is sort of challenging them here's my thing right if it was that easy to get into people's gmails or twitters or instagrams or whatever wouldn't it be happening to celebrities like every single day and i know it does happen like there was the fattening the cloud leak but it wasn't passwords being guessed because that makes me very paranoid because i [ __ ] you know there was a cyber attack today i believe because i googled it because i knew we were going to be talking about this regardless of how flawless the segue he was we'll pull the curtain back but i googled it and there was one yesterday i think uh on twitter people that the the private messages are being hacked uh you know so it's always a thing but then today i open up my email and i actually have an email uh from a charity organization that i was involved with you know do a lot of charity work but don't like to talk about it don't lie i don't need partying on the bike for the good that i do you know it's just part of my life and i just don't publish some of these guys are out there [ __ ] building wells in africa they got to bring an entire film crew to watch them be like all right buddy what are you here for you're here for the film crew you're here to build a well bisping's out there doing charity every day stop writing messages to business on the screen it distracts him he starts head-butting the the camera please here's here's the email i got today though where is it cyber attacks affecting company which hosts crisis supported database hey michael hope you're well i'm getting in touch to let you know about a cyber attack that has recently affected the company which holds our supported database i'm very sorry to tell you that as a result of this attack some of your personal data may have been compromised okay so i am under attack on twitter on gmail throughout my charity endeavors that i never talk about you know what i mean never talk about but it's actually uh it's it's the trump campaign if anyone wants to know he's supporting the trump campaign directly he gives them a lot of money everyone you know i just don't understand how politicians can do that just go on tv and say give me money because i want to be president [ __ ] off yeah no i'm not funding that but i will give to people and i do dig well so i don't dig wells never did well in my life but i would contribute i would love the challenge of digging a well baby boy that sounds like a good workout [Laughter] you mentioned a well you get this thing going i'll tell you right now i want to make it well the man wants to dig a [ __ ] well you mentioned him you even say if you say hey how you doing if you say i'm well bisping's gonna go off about everyone's a digger well i'm gonna grab a shovel immediately just start [ __ ] digging right there you need water baby you need water let's go all right guys we've been telling you about naked nutrition for a while listen i love this stuff lewis is fantastic it's high quality protein with simple ingredients that's why i partner with them as you know a lot of proteins whatever it is supplements you look at the back of it all kinds of nonsense in there cancer-causing chemicals etc so on and so forth not with naked nutrition for example their naked way is just literally a few ingredients but today i want to talk about the super greens the naked super greens as we know it's not easy to get your daily serving of green vegetables between buying them preparing them getting them to taste nice which is very difficult for some people i mean let's be honest how many people are actually getting their daily allowance of vegetables on a daily basis well if you find yourself frequently skipping out on your greens this is gonna save your diet naked greens provide two plus servings of organic vegetables and grasses per scoop i'll take the veggies don't want the grasses but it's an easy drink you just put it in i put it in with my protein shakes a little various little uh peanut butter to taste and boom you're away to the races louis yeah they have uh this the green superfood powder contains six different organic vegetables and grasses along with organic probiotic organic adaptogens organic ginseng and probiotics the green power is going to promote gut health immune system support stress reduction this is perfect for a guy like me it's really difficult like i'm not one of these people my son's mother is so good at this she goes and she makes everything is organic she gets certain vegetables make sure she gets her superfoods in she really really and it's a lot of work i see how much work that's a lot of work it's so much and she cares in a show she's great for me it's a lot more difficult i'm on the go i'm traveling constantly you do a quick scoop i do with water it actually tastes great i do a quick scoop with some water i chuck it down i have two servings right there and then i do it in the morning i make it a part of my daily ritual now yeah absolutely and as i said they got tons of products as well i love their naked energy that's the best one anyway give them a try check out the website what is the website you say i'll tell you n k d nutrition.com so go there check out all of their products but when you get to check out use the called bisping that will get you 15 off dot nkd code is bisping thank you very much get lean get mean have a good time let's go where were we not harrington show yourself on camera sir he never chimes in there he is no can you not stop telling harrington just randomly to chime in all willy-nilly no no no i want to see what he looks like whispering trust me i work with harrington he looks like he's ugly simple as that no just look at his face okay whoa whoa whoa whoa i want to say an ugly man i see you got the face of a nice uh you know the friendly fat guy he looks like station from bill and ted's bogus journey can you pull up that image pull up the image this is what harrington looks like with this shirt if you've ever trained with him you're going to really enjoy this bisping i don't remember bill and ted's book party time excellent no that's wayne's world let's just say you know same genre of station please just for the reference harrington are you not doing that oh no whatever i [ __ ] hate it i feel like the moment passed the timing is awful i mean here's here's the problem with harrington there we go look this is what harrington looks like to me i mean i i i mean i see the resemblance there's definitely a station-esque but that is such an obscure reference lewis why would you go there with that but still it's good it's good not harrington uh you were saying about these cyber attacks come on you you put something in the message box i can't read i'm doing a live show baby boy uh give us some knowledge sorry about that so i was just pulling uh the headline and then the sub headline from the article that uh you sent us earlier it says the twitter says private messages were accessed in a cyber attack and up to 36 people including a dutch politician gert wilders ah gert oh good old girl compromised i'm a big fan of gert wilder well i mean look i i like i like his views on like fiscal policies but when it comes down to social issues you know just because they can start reading amsterdam everywhere lewis jesus christ that's all you care about when it comes to gert's policies but gert wilder is making a lot of changes for the people of uh the netherlands smoking a pancake baby harrington was there anything else there no uh yeah don't tell harrington just to chime in all willy-nilly harrington doesn't have uh any understanding of timing or good production he'll he'll destroy this whole show trust chiming ability of harrington recently has been off the charts okay chime in like no wonder every time he's got a fedora maybe a sweatband on you never know what he's gonna wear i feel like he brings a little ray of sunshine to the viewers on youtube okay well we can agree to disagree uh harrington harrington in small doses is probably better i have to deal with harrington in a much different level than you have to deal with harrington well do you know what you could do you could get him to take a gas a uh a canister of petrol gasoline for you guys and throw it in a car and then light a match and then it would blow his face off that's another good segue no no cause i wanted to tell you about my uh me being hacked recently oh please i want to hear all about it let's go um no this was this this happened to me recently um after it happened i i realized probably what happened i think i went to amazon like amazon.com or amazon.com or whatever it is it was almost amazon.com but i must have had like a letter off yeah yeah you went to amazon.com okay you're gonna get conked you're gonna get hacked you're it's not going to you with amazon.com great service speedy delivery amazon.com you are literally giving away your money your details your private information so when i go to this website it looks just like amazon.com and you go to type in your emails letter off you go to type in your email address and your password and then it says oh you're the wrong password then it prompts you to do it again then you do it again you're like that was weird that's my password you do it again like what the [ __ ] going on is my capstock's done you do it again and then and then you realize that you're not even on the website like what the [ __ ] is this you go away you don't even think about it so three days later i get an email from this person and i'll read it to you and the uh in the subject line it just says my name or like my email address and then it says the password so in the subject line is my password to my email which is [ __ ] weird and my email address and then it says uh you may well be thinking why the hell uh oh right here i'm sorry so it says transfer one thousand dollars in bitcoin uh to the address right here um you may be you may well be thinking why the hell would i do that well prepare yourself due to the fact that i am going to tremble your entire world today i had a dangerous malware infect your computer system and also record a movie of you using your webcam while she browsed adult sites oh so basically you're straight up being blackmailed this is an amazon.com like this is amazon.com on steroids they're coming after you they're not trying to hoodwink you a little bit on like the price and stick five dollars in their account they're like no [ __ ] i want a thousand dollars in bitcoin we got you jerking off to gay porn we've got the video of it okay we've got here how'd you know it's gay porn i'm in cahoots with amazon.com i'm a shareholder yeah amazon.com listen uh you're [ __ ] lewis you want this one and then it goes this is this is one of your passwords and then it gives me the password again still don't believe me reply seven and i'll be randomly sharing your video with seven people you know yes i've accessed your entire address book as well at this moment what can i want to do this this person's not obviously american because like broken english uh what can i want to get this whole thing to disappear well i have already mentioned the actual offer in the beginning of the email message if you don't fulfill it within 24 hours i'll make your life hell by delivering that video to every person you know your time frame begins right now i'm like jerking off like this in the middle of like oh [ __ ] never mind never mind giving away my password louis we got you we got the gods and i hope you don't pay it you don't know how to use bitcoin anyway cryptocurrencies you know nothing timmy this is this is months ago by the way this is literally months ago and um so no obviously like it's it's just what they do is they're looking for people that are [ __ ] just idiots so if you type seven they go oh this is a person that's on the hook right now so i could probably get something out of that person so if you type in seven but even if they did like who really cares like let's say if they had a video of you jerking off the porn i mean what does that mean i mean me personally wouldn't want that out there for you you could see the comedy and everything man you could joke about everything that's hilarious and it would be it would be a very notorious moment for you but question personally i don't want that out there what did you do what'd you do you get an email like this and then they send you the video of you jerking off right you're not drinking anything weird it's just a video of you in your most embarrassing moment on camera you're sweating you've got kids you're like just like being on the keto diet or not because i might look good you know what i mean i'm sweating i've got a couple of veins i'm like you know the angle's coming from down here double chin you got angle sweating you're in a hotel room in abu dhabi you haven't been out of your room you know what i mean it's a stop and start affair oh god would you pay they said one thousand dollars they definitely have the video they send you the video here's if they would have sent me the video i might have sweat if they would have said hey you know here's the video we have this video they might have got me to sweat a little bit right there and then but they send you that video would you pay the thousand dollars to make you go away yeah i think it's only a thousand you know what i mean or you could have your career potentially ruined okay whatever how did they ruin your career if it just it's a video of your joke a lot it's a little bitter's yeah no you're right might have done better but um yeah you know but that's what they do right they're always looking for weak people always trying to pray on the week you know it's horrible you know i i hate seeing anything there's a scam that they do with old age pensioners they get their address their phone numbers they call them up they tell them that they're uh the old tax money from years ago and they're sending around you know the inland revenue immediately and you're gonna go to prison they're like oh [ __ ] can we pay can we put not everybody of course but those some people are weak or not weak they're old and they're vulnerable and the lonely and the they deal with the [ __ ] con artist on the phone and you see i watched a tv show about it recently and you know poor old people giving away all their savings and their you know whatever they're they've worked for their entire life because they think that they all the tax man you know it's [ __ ] sad so shame on whoever is trying to extort you uh with that jerking off video i hope it's real i hope it's out there and he he puts it out and yeah i would never in a million years because here's my problem with paying the thousand dollars as soon as you pay the thousand then what's to stop them from saying all right another five thousand just keep coming back why wouldn't you coming back for more there's like listen we've got you uh you know we just started with the jerking off video we've been filming your [ __ ] for a long time what's the most embarrassing thing that they could possibly have of you lewis i mean nothing you know there's nothing really that embarrassing that i do in front of my camera besides jerk off violently just move away from the jerky dog i'm trying to drift into something else we've got a bunch of nodes but lewis is hell bent on stage with discussing himself jerking off listen if you want to do that do them do it in private do it in private don't talk i try to they're trying to [ __ ] bring it to the forefront it's going to be a very big reality for you bisping once this video's all over the internet [Music] talk about it at one of you of the 17 podcasts okay we don't want to know we don't want that image in our head okay um did you say there was a video there's a guy who has a youtube channel which is really great i just got lost in the other day and he exposes like scam call centers where like he he hacks into their computers and like turns the camera on and like [ __ ] shows and it's pretty interesting because what they do is they just get people like this like now my email address is on a list for like suckers who like gave their con one of their passwords and [ __ ] and um so what's funny is it wasn't my email password it was just like an old some old random password uh mr bisping really quick we must thank native deodorant unbelievable really amazing beautifully scented all natural deodorant without the talc without the parabens without all the aluminum all the things that you don't want to put into your body all the things that have been linked to cancer-causing things you don't want to do that native deodorant has you covered yes it has you covered it also has you smelling amazing like you were just like discovered on an ocean paradise why is that because you've heard of coconut oil you've heard of sheer butter tapioca starch yeah well guess what i don't know about the tapioca one but i want to smell that the other two i want to smell we we got a lot of topics we were spending a lot of time on your journey it's called it's called pulling the threat on a subject this big we talk about something for five hours who's 17 other good topics to talk about forget it they're joking off we've got to talk about jerking off anymore i'm talking about something interesting whatever you'd like to talk about interesting to me i'm like okay woman blowing her face off joe rogan not doing the game till versus whitaker tyson mike tyson coming back we got a lot baby boy we got a woman blowing her face off we got a woman blowing her head off we got a woman presumably trying to set fire to a car you know and it coming back to bite her in the ass not as good as segway as the last one but i tried my best you did okay let's let's go to this video of this woman uh blowing your face off yeah well it serves a ride yeah is there is there any uh lead up story to what happened here i don't know harrington if i'm allowed to say can you show yourself and can you give us some story do you have any story have you googled have you done any kind of producer work whatsoever leading into the show we knew we were going to discuss it do we have any context uh i'm so sorry i don't uh there's really nothing else outside of the video it looks like it was just posted it's something that joe rogan caught on to and it's since going viral yeah i saw it on uh uh tyrone woodley's actually taran woodley's instagram he had that but then he had another picture of a woman with like the side of her face blown off and for those audio listeners what we're talking about there's a video on instagram it wasn't joe rogan's as well um she goes up to a car i think the back window's down she has a canister of petrol or gasoline whichever one you want to call it pours it into the car and then of course uses a lighter to try and light said petrol and then there's an explosion she gets thrown uh blasted to the floor uh not the smartest way but louis let me ask you if you were trying to do that if you were that woman and you poured the petrol gasoline into the car how would you like it because you do have to light it in some way i mean are you sure that she are you sure that she did it with a ladder you shouldn't throw a match in yeah i was like it was a bar okay it was a barbecue like well yeah uh it's got a bit of length yeah a little bit i i mean yeah it's she look it's a woman what do you want me to say you know have you ever [ __ ] had a woman trying to easy go back to the jerky love story back to the car dude she's a woman what are you talking about yeah i mean i i wouldn't trust that a woman would be the the best person to figure out how to light something on fire um yeah look i've i've just i've dated some crazy [ __ ] chicks you know i'm not that crazy but i've definitely dated some crazy chicks so yeah i mean look are you have you ever experienced anything like that something like chick coming after you for revenge i i mean i've been with rebecca forever and then prior to that yeah i you know dating isn't really even a thing in england i think it might be now but when i was younger dating didn't exist you go out you got drunk you met a bird and that was it you didn't go out on dates and sit there and tell them all about yourselves and think oh this guy's not for me we're great talking to you it's not a thing you go out you get shit-faced you pull a bird you go home in this modern world you're dating you know it's a whole i mean i guess when you're you're younger as well so no i think that you would have probably dated it was just the age you remember rebecca when you were like 20 right of course it's not that long ago yeah but that's the thing like when you're 20 you don't have money you don't really have [ __ ] you can't take a woman to like a really nice date like a nice restaurant movies i mean there was like a whole week's pay for me to go to like a nice dinner and like a movie and bring her flowers that's like 250 bucks like a night out just like yeah the average night out it's not a crazy night that's not even a nice night out then a night out is 200 bucks right so for a 17 year old kid 18 year old kid when you're [ __ ] delivering pizzas like i was that was crazy so yeah it was much easier you meet a chick you like her you flirt with her you [ __ ] maybe smoke a little weed or you know drink a little bit of liquor or something um but that was it but i think that you probably skipped over all of those dating years in your early mid 20s you get your first good job you're trying to impress some chick you're courting women you were yeah when your friends were courting women you already had two children yeah yeah and again i don't think in clithero and no offense there wasn't a thing i'm telling you i think in the north of england uh dating certainly dating gaps tinder all that stuff i mean that wasn't around for sure i mean it must be so easy now if you're if you're single and you fancy a bit of you know you want to get your leg over you just go to tinder and away you go i mean that's pretty awesome it's very easy if you're attractive but if you look like me you just keep on swiping right and you're just waiting waiting waiting waiting is it there's a match out there for everyone you'll find it not good is it for you lewis here's it if you wonder how good looking you are michael besming we should do an experiment because i bet you i'm sure your wife wouldn't appreciate this experiment i was gonna say download tinder and start swiping on women but let's not do that experiment we're not gonna do that we're not gonna do that but if you ever wanna see how good looking you are go on to one of those apps and start swiping and then whatever matches with you whatever comes back that's who you are that's how it works i am well no because that's who's swiping right on you and do you know swipes right on me big fat black chicks whatever you're into bro that's not what i'm into that's not what i'm into well you're going to have to be into that because that's all that's into you louis you just deal with it that's why that's why i use those apps i only use i do comedy and i [ __ ] wait till women get women really drunk and that's how you get them same as me 20 years ago you go out you buy them a few drinks you get them drunk you never know 20 years later she wakes up she's living in orange county she's like what the [ __ ] am i doing with this guy yeah anyway a lot of crazy people out there um mike tyson coming back should we talk about that sure yeah you want to get into that yeah i mean it's uh if i'm roy jones jr what do you think how do you feel about it i mean i'm [ __ ] excited a lot of people i saw some negative views about it i mean mike tyson as we know we spoke about it recently it started with the pad work of him hitting pads with rafael cordero and then there was talk of him he was i mean there was vandalis silva there was cheetah ortiz that was talked about for a minute and we even said at the time i said i'd love to see him if he was going to come back come back against a boxer you know what i'm saying like an old school boxer and i never thought of roy jones jr i was like vander hollerfield or someone like that that would be [ __ ] epic but still roy jones jr yeah i mean that's that's a tremendous match up and uh you know they've both been retired for a while i think mike's 53 roy jones is 51 so the kind of you know in the similar age group of course roy george junior fought a lot recently in fact um i think the last time he falls 2018 if i'm not mistaken and i was there for one of his fights in 2016. remember i grappled chael sonnen on this thing it was promoted uh by a company at the time that's how i met him partners no no no no it was it was i forget what it was called they had rey mysterio arresting someone that me grappling they had an mma fight on and they had roy jones jr versus a fan versus a fan versus a fan people had to send in their videos and whatnot and whoever the best and the fan was like a semi-accomplished amateur boxer right it wasn't just a fan it was a guy who had actually put gloves on before and actually competed yeah yeah no of course he'd box i think he'd had a few mma fights as well so he was a fighter he was an up-and-comer as you would imagine he got knocked out [ __ ] viciously cold i mean roy jones was not [ __ ] about and that's the interesting thing in this one because they're not wearing headgear but they're wearing uh they're using big gloves uh i think it's gonna be 12 ounces uh but apparently they've said you know it's just gonna be a nice pleasant display they're not gonna try and knock each other out and i was like i said to kevin aioli he's the guy that reported that from yahoo sports and i went yeah you know until one of them lands a good shot and then it all goes out the window because as mike tyson himself said everybody has a game plan until somebody gets punched in the face yeah i mean look the the fact is tyson hasn't competed in a long time the the fact that jones has been even even competing in silly little fights and maybe it's not high level competition that has to be somewhat of an advantage going into it as well also i'm seeing that roy jones he's competed at heavyweight before i guess uh he won the wwba heavyweight championship um because i thought there was going to be a big size difference there because uh andover jones has competed a lot later as well um i mean i know it's early and it's kind of difficult to say but from the data that's a professional fighter that you have how do you see the fight going well i mean i mean it old i mean shut up harry [ __ ] dog jesus christ in the background very distracting somebody at the door though uh somebody may with thanks lewis you're given up my all my passwords my address i'm being hacked we've got people breaking into the house as we speak uh no roy jones jr i'm looking at his records here 66 wins nine losses 75 fights in total i mean geez enzo macronelli am i looking at the right roy jones bobby gunn yeah i think so anyway he last four in where was it yeah 2018 february the 8th um i mean what is going on there is someone there oh it's my wife that's what's going on she pulled up sorry about that guys it was a little distracting um yeah hi jesus i'm trying to do a podcast my god sorry guys the distraction going on through that door lewis um right where were we roy jones jr coming back mike tyson how do i see the fight was the question yeah yeah i think you got to lean towards roy jones jr let's be honest i mean mike tyson looks phenomenal on the pads right now but it's easy to kind of look good on the pads if mike tyson the bold comes back again i still don't know roy jones was one of the greatest to ever do it uh his movement was always fantastic very very defensive tyson obviously probably had the punching power two both tremendous boxes and i think it is just gonna be a a friendly display but still for boxing fans it's still gonna be fun i know you're not the biggest fan but does this excite you at all those of course i mean look i i watched mike tyson get knocked out by buster douglas on hbo i remember as a kid that was like such a big crazy moment because it was like my first mike tyson fight watching live and it wasn't pay-per-view i remember was on hbo because there's no way my mom would have bought a pay-per-view at that time and i was like holy it was finally seeing mike tyson live and then he gets [ __ ] knocked out and it was like nuts um and i sort of watched the decline of mike tyson and after he went to jail and sort of those freak show fights he was doing and it was uh it was sort of interesting because mike tyson is such a big part of pop culture it goes beyond boxing and professional boxing mike tyson was a video game and a character and you know you know even you know years ago in the in that movie the hangover he was sort of like he played himself and that this you know big part in that movie so he's like a piece of pop culture and sort of bigger than there's certain you know people that are bigger than the sports themselves right and mike tyson is one of those people um roy jones jr didn't have that same sort of impact on i think society but i'm super super excited to see this fight i will say this though mike tyson i don't think he has the ability to to have a nice friendly fight like what does he do he tears your [ __ ] head off that's it he has one speed mike tyson's going to try to knock roy jones's head clean off his shoulder she's gonna get a jab and parry and i don't know he's gonna come in but i'm trying to mike tyson him and if he lands i think he does it i'm gonna say i'll go against what you say i think mike tyson gets the job done i think he's gonna be he's going to come out and i think all of a sudden roy john jr is going to wake up and go where the [ __ ] am i and holy [ __ ] mike tyson knocked him out in 19 seconds and it's gonna be like wow i mean you said a lot though so many times i wanted to jump in but it's the new me i'm trying to not interrupt i'm trying to be a good podcasting partner but so many levels so many layers but you're right wouldn't that be awesome do you know what i mean and i don't know if they're supposed to just have a nice friendly demonstration match and then as i say i think once once somebody lands a good shot and as you said mike tyson's style doesn't lend itself to being a nice technical points borrower it lends itself to knocking people [ __ ] unconscious right and all fighters they have that ego and certainly if he's coming back at his age at 53 it's a demonstration match well if roy jones is doing his thing and he's [ __ ] dancing the bar and he's moving and greg moving and grooving ducking and diving driving and shaking what else we got uh lucy goosey schmidt and bacon uh yeah he is yeah what's that what's that one from ricky bobby what is it i don't know oh god whatever moving and grooving i don't know whatever if he's doing all that what was that big and big shaking bacon shaking and baking baby thank you harrington see harrington with the chime again perfect once in a while he gets one i'll give it to you shake it back baby yeah now listen if he starts doing that and tyson can't get hold of him of course he's just gonna go [ __ ] this man i can't do a mike tyson to save my life but uh yeah he's probably gonna do just that you know you were talking a lot there so many things i mean because mike tyson really is that guy everything you just said he's larger than life he's everywhere talk about a guy that reinvented himself i mean it's just incredible i mean that's an inspiration to any fighter what you could do afterwards of course he had a big platform he was the baddest man on the planet i had mike tyson he's a [ __ ] iconic you know really is iconic and that's why there's so much interest but um you know when he got beat by buster douglas i heard that week he was [ __ ] all kinds of hookers in the hotel room and just snorting cocaine and all kinds of stuff because he thought he was gonna walk right through him one of my first uh ref um introductions if you will to mike tyson was when he fought frank bruno in england that was on holiday bournemouth i think and they had these we walked through this market and then these t-shirts for sale because the fight was happening at the weekend and it was frank bruno versus mike tyson and that the t-shirt was so disrespectful to frank bruno and big up frank bruno by the way big inspiration to me but i think i'm not sure if it was frank bruno but somebody the sun newspaper in england they sponsored the bottom of his feet i'm not sure if it was frank bruno just googled that there this harrington the sun newspaper sponsored the bottom of his feet because he knew he was going to get knocked out so therefore he'd be led on the canvas and the shoes would be up and you would see the sun newspaper on the bottom of the feet i think it was i think it was tyson and bruno i might be real that's a real thing yeah yeah isn't it i mean why would he allow somebody to sponsor the bottom of his feet because [ __ ] hey monique harrington what did you find i have it here it was julius francis against mike tyson in january of 2000 and it was the mirror that sponsored the book oh excuse me yeah yeah there you go julius francis so sorry pardon me frank uh did you fight a couple of times uh yeah how about that i mean that's how [ __ ] dangerous mike tyson was back in the day and what year was that that wasn't that long ago or 2000 okay so 20 years ago i remember i mean when tyson after he came out of jail i believe it was i think it was they were doing like a buy-back thing for the pay-per-views where if it didn't go more than like a couple rounds they would give you your money back for the paper because he was knocking people out so quickly um which is weirdly like you have to under like isn't that doesn't that kind of seem shady because behind the scenes you know they're going like dude make this last more than two rounds because we're not giving these [ __ ] pay-per-view this pay-per-view money back yeah well it does get annoying certain if you certainly if you're in england and you've got you're eight hours ahead or wherever you are in the world for that matter if you're not in the states it's a pain in the ass right because there's a time difference and certainly mike tyson fight is a worldwide phenomena and i remember anderson silva he was a worldwide phenomenon i remember sitting up when i even when i was in the ufc i wanted to fight the guy you know until five in the morning right and i'm like okay great here we go i'm gonna be [ __ ] exhausted tomorrow that's my sunday wasted but it's worth it because here we go the main event and he walks out one [ __ ] strike knocks the guy out on my jesus christ i remember going up to bed i forget which fight it was crawling to bed and rebecca's like how was it i might not [ __ ] [ __ ] wasted time [ __ ] i i just watched a [ __ ] highlight in the morning i did not need to stay up all night for that well that's the cool thing about mma it's like that sort of like was the thing that um in my opinion one of the things that really people spoke about it's like an unspoken thing that i think separated mixed martial arts from boxing was five fights no matter what happens even if it was a 10 second knockout in the main event you had a crazy you know slobber knocker you know three rounds from pillar to post for the co-main you know crazy fight of the night was the opening fight and then the undercard you always got a full night no matter what with them it's very rare where you don't feel satisfied at the end of the night in fact a lot of the times main event comes along i want to see a quick knockout because i'm like dude i'm drunk i've been having a great time we saw a couple decisions and you you know at that point you're sort of thirsty for blood so they it's built into the sport of mixed martial arts those flash finishes that quick knockout is sort of part of the excitement of the sport whereas i think in boxing you felt a little bit ripped off yeah well boxing it's always top heavy there's like always one big marquee match up and then that's it right uh again i'm not the biggest boxing fan but i enjoy boxing i just don't it's hard to come by these days you gotta really [ __ ] follow it and gotta know where to go but yeah you're right everyone else on the undercard for the most part you have no idea who they are they're just people coming up or sometimes they're even [ __ ] world champions uh but you've just never ever heard of them with the ufc yeah like you said always good fights i mean that last pay-per-view that they did and then you know i'm not kissing ass but it's true every single one of those fights could have been a main event of course it was three title fights you had rose versus paige no what am i saying rose versus hebass that you know on a fight night that could have been a main then you had rose versus what am i saying paige versus hebass then you had rose versus andraj that could have been a main event on a finite as well so of course five great fights we've got some great fights to get into shortly um what else is the first lewis before we before we move on dude we wanted to this is kind of a funny story it's just sort of it just inspired me to like want to have [ __ ] you money because you're rogan i guess he refused to do the commentary for the new ufc video game which by the way the new ufc video game looks awesome i don't i i have the latest one and i'm like i don't even want to start a career in it because the new one's coming out soon um but it does look really are you in the newest one or now i i well i hope so i would i would like to think so i mean listen yeah i'm retired but i'm still current i'm still active i'm still commentating if you want me to fill in for rogue and i'll do it baby boy just got to give me a call but yeah please i would like to think that i'm in it i'm not that much of a [ __ ] dinosaur tyson fury and anthony and joshua were in it if they're in it i like to think i was in it typically i get center copy as well i haven't received it this year that's it i'm not in they're like he's retired don't they have to do like all like the [ __ ] you know the little beads and all the you know movements and all that other cop the motion capture and once they have that they have it oh yeah well yeah i mean i did i did that [ __ ] a long time ago i haven't done it recently do you think that they've maybe the technology has advanced at all you think they would need to do it again with you or do you think that one time eight years ago was good enough like yeah he was never that good to start with forget about him the world has moved on it's okay and he listen he's earning good money he could pay the 60 bucks he could buy the [ __ ] game okay uh yeah just send me a copy no it looks outstanding though i've seen that intro with mas vidal and uh what's his name adasanya sorry sorry champ uh it looks [ __ ] incredible better hopefully wins otherwise that cover of that game is going to be pretty meaningless yeah mazman just lost as well but still it doesn't matter the hype is real uh no the game looks awesome so you were saying what what got us on to all this oh yes yeah rogan refused to do the commentary for it which is just very funny because she's signed a over a hundred million dollar deal with spotify so wrong is way more than that i heard it's per year as well i know well here that that's it just sort of made me think like if you think about how many things you how many things in your life wouldn't you do if you had [ __ ] you money like money is not an object anymore there's you know 100 million dollars in the bank we get just literally one year of a rogue deal in one year but what's on record right so you're set for life essentially per year i mean that's insane we're gonna up these numbers baby boy let's [ __ ] go first thing i'm doing is not the podcast anymore i'm joking i do this for free uh i love this podcast but uh i don't know i mean i'm pretty lucky that i i do pretty much everything i do i do enjoy but i guess like you know for roger i mean he's done it for so long right you know so i understand him wanting to scale back some of his obligations but uh i don't know what would be the first thing you would cut out of your life had you had i i'd say the amount of money like that first thing first i would definitely get off social media altogether oh god tell me about it you're right because we're trying to do that yeah it's a part of you know look it's a part of our lifestyle we have to do it um can i just say one thing of course you don't need [ __ ] new money to do that you could do it right now you could it's possible yes yes so all right i don't everybody on social media is loaded you don't have to be you don't have to be loaded it's not about just being loaded it's about the way i make my money right so i make my money by doing these shows these podcasts live shows selling merch if i don't have that direct connection with my fan base it becomes more difficult in order to do it so doing something on a podcast i'll give an example so people could they they listen us to us doing ad reads on this podcast where we talk about these products and they're great products we love the the sponsors that work with this show when you really think about it when you consider the fact that if you look at an ad on instagram it's a swipe up and a click and you're already purchasing it right it's connected to your apple pay it's a lot easier of a process to sort of get people and move the needle than simply saying hey go do that i'm sure it's way easier than when people hear an ad read closing out the itunes app going to the thing whatever it is that is a lot more involved so i think that that just simply that thing in itself i think having social media makes it easier for people to buy tickets click on the podcast whatever else it is and i i don't exactly know how to fill in that space without the social media okay all right all right so so you'd still if you had an obscene amount of money in the bank you would still the first thing you would do is something that you could do if you had nothing in the bank that that's what you're saying you asked me what is the big [ __ ] you think if you had tons of money in the bank what's a big [ __ ] new thing yours is not go on social media i understand what you're saying because it is a kind of effective and poisonous and toxic yeah i find myself trying to do that anyway about [ __ ] that i don't care about at all like i'm like regularly it's so toxic but i think it's a necessary evil for my life and for what i do right now it is a necessary evil in my life to a certain degree but i know when i went out to abu dhabi i was on it way less just because of the times and this and that and i don't know i just didn't feel like [ __ ] being on it i guess i was very tired out there the whole time but but it was nice you know what i mean not to be a slave to the screen i'm going off the topic here a little bit but so what yeah no no i'm definitely trying to scale back although i'm i'm upping the twitter the twitter's going up the instagram's going down we're gonna switch the numbers though i've got way more followers on on instagram but uh but yeah you know i don't know what i do i'm pretty lucky but back in the day i used to hate my life i mean you see these people that win the lottery and they stay at work and i'm not talking about people that have like glamorous jobs like some guy that works in a factory for 20 years i've seen it but they're like i've been saying the newspaper no i'm still going to work on monday like [ __ ] that if i just had a regular day job and you won the lottery there's no way i'd be going into work on monday yeah maybe it depends it it depends if you love your job right if you if you really enjoy going because sometimes you this is something with comedy and i'm sure it's the same factory right listen i get it if you're if you're doing comedy if you're an actor if you have your own company that you're passionate about you built it from the ground up or or whatever it is you're making a difference in the world but if you're just going into a [ __ ] factory like to get the case i'm talking about is that i'll still be at work monday facing a wall [ __ ] [ __ ] doing [ __ ] jobs no no way i've done some factory jobs man they suck i've done every shitty job under the sun and i would not do any of them for free there's some people that are you know that have like you know mental things where they have to you know have that fulfillment they get a job where like literally stacking up boxes they're autistic whatever it is and that helps them sort of get through they have ocd and they get fulfillment out of it i i know people that like they love their jobs and they love going to work and you're like you really love doing that every day like yes where all my friends are i you know if you work at a job for 25 years your whole entire social structure you you're used to that um or uh the the the habit or those patterns in life sort of feel like home to you it's why i get into arguments all the time when i talk to my therapist about this uh a while ago but it's like i constantly get myself into like arguments i constantly get myself into situations where i have to lie to a woman it's a regular pattern it gives me stress and i wonder why i go back there regularly and i have to do it over and over again and it's because that regularity psychologically subconsciously feels like home to me so i think that person that wins the lottery and has to go into work they just need that habit and if they don't have that habit every day they feel like they're not fulfilled or they're just a [ __ ] you know maybe maybe they're just a [ __ ] maybe they're just a sad [ __ ] and i said i wouldn't use that word anymore but maybe maybe it's just that but i guarantee they'll get a lot of new friends when we get that 20 million dollars you know in england there was this guy lee carroll the lotto loud and uh he was having all these crazy parties and stuff he spent all the money he spent all the money and went through it in a few years boom gone doesn't last forever and you got to pay taxes anyway all right listen uh i want to get into these fights this weekend massive fight card uh and there's a lot of other mma news as well so let's shift gear uh where do you want to start should we start with the fights uh or should we do some of these peripheral stories that howard has put in here gsp says he will not end his retirement to fight oozman or habib yeah good i'm glad to do the quote bisping good you do it as is that so uh sometimes you know i'm watching the fights and i'm like man i think i can beat these guys or after when i'm done training i feel like i'm very confident but then after i go home at night and i'm thinking about all the crazy thoughts and i'm like i'm going to be 40 years old soon and it's this is really slipping this is going into as a different accent all the time you know do i really want to go back to work and do a hardcore training cup of my two months put myself in jail so to speak no i don't want to do that get ready for the hell i'm like it went from gsp to russian no no no i don't want to do this okay i'm not no i don't i'm out baby boys okay cheerio i've done it for a very long time you know and unfortunately in my sport there could be man too many guys that are late to retire and i don't want to be one of those guys for more than two sentences he just starts morphing like he's a [ __ ] well i just get bored with it i'm not okay you know are you intoxicated that's it for one sentence it might be you know it might get a little crack of a smile i like how you shape-shift you shape-shift and it was we got a lot of different uh voices right there that's a very good range baby showing my range and you just clip that please as michael bisping shows his range because people might think it's offensive you can't even do like accidents these days which is crazy there's nothing bad about that but uh he doesn't want to come back and fight good i'm glad he's a legend stay retired you went out on top you choked out that other legend uh and now you're retired i think you should stay where you are gsp but i understand people like usual and those guys and habib as well they're calling him out you know he is the legendary guy he's the goat he's also a massive pay-per-view star so of course as a champ you get a bit of that rub you get a bit of that extra cash and that's what you want i mean when you're the champion you're fighting your way you're beating all the top guys but then when you make it there of course you want to continue to defend your belt but you also want to make the money you want to stack the chips you want to live that championship lifestyle and someone like george saint pierre you know hey you make the money and b you get the legacy so of course i understand that but gsp for my money stay retired pal all the best yeah if i was gonna come out of retirement i don't really want no offense to useman it's the khabib's fight's the only one that i really truly want to see i mean you know seeing gsp win three titles possibly three different weight classes that would be incredible i don't think ufc has any interest in making that happen because [ __ ] it's literally it gives gsp all of the value and takes away all the value from the ufc so um what else is going on here uh yeah well no let's go on harrington any yeah pearls of wisdom that you want to divulge that you want to give to us that you want to uh you know you want to give us any pearls um honestly no pearls uh it was just i thought it was interesting that gsp said he's made enough money uh he looks at it and he sees like the uh he gets like you know seduced into the idea of like getting back in the cage and testing his skills one more time but he said he's almost 40 years old he's made enough money and he can't see himself actually putting in the two months uh to train for a single opponent and then go out there against these young killers yes he doesn't want to go through the hell you know i kind of said this in my sexy accident before no and he's right you know he has made a lot of money he's almost 40 years old you know you get that that itch you're doing certainly if you're george st pierre that every champion's calling out you know what i mean is that i think i can beat that guy it would be very tempting i mean even me i mean my knees are just shot i've got to get another knee replacement i know i've said that many times but it's coming soon um but i think if my knees were okay i think you know i don't know i'd be tempted i would be tempted but anyway that's that we got some time here uh we gotta talk about ufc on fight island three which is happening this saturday night uh obviously we got whitaker until in the main event and we'll probably talk about that last uh but three massive fights on the main card obviously it's a stacked card front to back but where do you want to start here yeah well again uh i said this last time but hamza shimayev i think i'm pronouncing that he's returning after ten days i think it was so i think that might be the fastest turnaround in ufc history so shout out to that guy he's a [ __ ] he's a phenomenal fighter but anyway all right well the three big fights so shoulder versus little nog three uh we got gustafson making his heavyweight debut taking on verdum and then obviously we got whiskey versus till in the main event we'll start with gustavus versus verdum i think that's the mid card harrington is there sugar versus henders uh uh nagara that that is the cold name right uh yes sir that's the that's the call main event all right so obviously the last time we saw alexander gustafsson i think he got choked out against anthony smith that was just over a year ago about 14 months ago said he was going to retire uh obviously before that he lost to jon jones and i think he was kind of pissed off i know he's been plagued by injuries and you know i think he said himself this week it was kind of an emotional response because of course he was in sweden as well you know his hometown uh he got choked out and lost the fire of course that's very deflating it's not the first time that's happened in sweden as well back in the day anthony johnson if you remember that one lewis anthony johnson [ __ ] cracked him and put him out as well so yeah i mean that's hard to take and if you look at gustafson he's a guy that has all the ability in the world huge frame gave john jones that first fight everything he could handle gave dc everything he could handle in fact dc was talking to harwani recently about the best guys never to win the belt and dc mentioned gustafsson he's certainly one of those guys you know so i think he was a little pissed off and then he got choked out against um anthony smith and was like do you know what [ __ ] this but he's gone away he's realized he's still hungry and he's come back a heavyweight what do you make of this situation lewis yeah i like it like he's reinventing himself at heavyweight i think we watched i think him probably seeing dc move up to heavyweight and um you know have success there be able to win the title there i'm sure he looks at that and says you know what i got a really long big frame he's you know if you look at his frame and his size um you know he looks like a heavyweight he's he's really really massive really really long i saw the the the way do you see the weigh-in picture and they did the side-by-side comparison between i did it no i didn't actually see that just my only problem with him at a heavyweight it's like he just doesn't look like he just doesn't look like he gives a [ __ ] does he get out no this is the thing some people go up a weight class and they just think oh great here we go i can eat whatever i want i don't have to run i'm not saying gustavson did that i'm not naming any names but jean valente in his most recent heavyweight fight definitely looks like he's having a lot of pasta pizza maybe a few beers and i don't think running was his priority love jean vellante by the way um yeah well he you know here's the thing like he obviously saw he wasn't going to win the the title at 205 he's having trouble there um i think realistically speaking the competition's easier at heavyweight you know and if you look at what his skill set is he's a really incredible kickboxer it's not like you know the challenges that were sort of giving him problems the jon jones a super athletic guy who could out wrestle him and basically out strike him i don't think that a lot of those problems exist up at heavyweight it just really comes down to you know wait what i would do no no no because i i want to like talk [ __ ] so badly that's does the guy that beat him dc has been the champion and he's in a title fight literally might be the champion in a few weeks you know the guy one of the guys that he couldn't beat a lie heavyweight is there a heavyweight and then jon jones is going to follow suit right after the watch it's going to be a real problem for him yeah none of that what you said matters because the two guys that beat him the two biggest fights and and it sucks for gustavsson because that's what he's known for having a really close fight with dc and having a really gloss fight with jon jones when that shouldn't be his legacy he's one of the best fighters to come out of europe he's an incredibly skilled fighter very very good wrestling for a european guy as well that should be what he's known for but no the two clause fights at john jones which you're saying doesn't exist at heavyweight i'm listening to your point i'm trying to be respectful i'm like no no no exist yeah i look i wanted to give him a reason to come back in heavyweight but look it's not looking good you're the hardest division in the world and guess what all three guys that beat you they're there they're waiting they're licking their chops no is it actually a harder division than 205 no not really like dc honestly moved the heavyweight because he wasn't going to be jon jones with all due respect you know i think that he saw that that wasn't going to happen um so yeah i think overall at heavyweight we've said it for a long time you get a couple wins in a row at heavyweight you're in title contention right there and then i think 205 is a little bit more of a stack division a little bit more of an uphill battle yeah no no no you're right i i do agree i think to be honest as well you know he's not getting any younger harrington just look up his age please and just chime in and let me know uh he's not getting any younger and he's a big dude i think he's six five or six six six five i think uh making 205's hard you know a lot and a lot of those guys the bigger end guys at two or five they're walking around 230 235 maybe even two for i know some guys get up to like 245 250 you know i'm making you know so they died down to like 230 225 and then they cut that last 20 pounds fight week so you know making 205 is hard and when you get older it definitely gets a little bit harder then as you say you know he's coming back he's seeing guys like dc go up away division and i think everybody is finding success when they go up a weight class you don't have to do that grueling wake up you can take a punch better you can have the correct nutrition in your body and you're not killing yourself the day before a weigh-in that's one of the main things that i don't miss from being a fire the [ __ ] weight cuts it was horrible absolutely horrible and it's so detrimental to your career so he's doing the right thing because he's got the frame for it in fact on the notes that having to give here gus is 10 years younger and he has a one inch high advantage and a two inch reach advantage on fabricio i'm from british ever do you know virginia's a [ __ ] gigantic monster yeah he's really big well and to be honest i think i think gus should be able to win this fight um they're both coming off the two losses um i i like this fight for gus of sin i think that fabricio we're doing obviously he freezes striking has looked really good in recent years but i think alexander's gonna be faster more athletic um you know and i think it's going to be somewhat contested on the video it's not like fabricio has unbelievable wrestling and takedowns and it's a foregone conclusion that he gets him down so i think it's going to be a striking matchup and i think we're going to see alex look really good alexander guzman as well is a star immediately he's already a star he's already fought for the title he already has these massive huge fights in everybody's you know mind you know he he's already a massive star so yeah a couple wins at heavyweight it's right there you know you could put him up against anybody and it makes sense yeah no sorry i was just i was listening and you are right he is a star he's you know he was one of the biggest brightest stars of the 205 division for a long time and against very doom i i i see this is a really good fight for him verdum obviously we know he's got tremendous jiu-jitsu and he's got good striking i mean it was a flying knee that knocked out mark hunt uh he runs across the cage a lot of the time when the fight start i remember him doing that to travis brown he was a [ __ ] gigantic heavyweight and doing a jumping psychic to the face which landed so he has got good striking um but you know he didn't look the best version of himself in his last fight against olynyk he'd lost that fight i thought verdum would win obviously he was coming back of a suspension as well for some doping issues uh so i i feel this is a really good platform for gustavsson to come back to get a big win over a former champion i think on the fee it's him all day i think if you look at the fights with daniel cormier if he could stop daniel cormier's take down the uh sorry wrestling attempts i i see him being able to stop the wrestling of uh verdum so this is going to be a striking match upon the feet you know gustas has got the speed he's got the better technique he's got by far better boxing um so i i see this being a good win for gustavsson but incidentally i i didn't know this harrington harrison put this on the end he said this is a work verdoom's last fight on his contract and he says he will not resign with the ufc no matter what no matter how the fight turns out he says he will be exploiting free agency thanks the ufc for a great opportunity but he wants to move on harrington where did you see that i i had no idea but that's uh so basically he's saying that win or lose regardless even if ufc offered him a great deal he's moving on with himself did you just shush your mum in the background did you shush your mom have a bit of respect for sure it's for sure not my mom um but uh no yes so he i believe it was an interview with uh tmz it might have been an mma junkie i'll look that up right now but he did say uh that you know he's been very happy with running the ufc the ufc in a large part is what made his career what his career has been uh but he is looking for opportunities outside they've had some creative differences over the 18 months he was suspended and uh he's fought the two fights that were left on his contract no chance of resigning the deal he's going to go elsewhere all right okay well listen fair play i mean very doom he was a great fighter he had some great times in the ufc but of course you know he's free to do whatever he wants uh so yeah i mean i look forward to seeing having his last fight in the ufc tough tough tough guy though i'm not commenting i'll make a pick um what do you think lewis what's your prediction i've got gustafsson i think getting a victory no disrespect to verdum third round i think a tko i think it'll be a competitive first round ver dooms no slouch but i think as the fight drags on uh he's gonna slow down a bit he looked like his cardio wasn't the greatest in his last fight and i think gustafson's gonna come back on top for him he has to he's been retired for a while wants to come back he's not going to be lazy in training camp he's a big dude he's a natural heavyweight and i think his speed will transfer to heavyweight as well because he's going to be heavier so it will slow him down a little bit but i still think gustafson i think with strikes boxing for the most part uh round three gets the stoppage uh i'm going to agree with you that i think that gus is going to win the fight i'm just going to say it's going to be a a decision i think that uh redome is really tough i think that um gustafsson you know i i it's not like he he's just no it wasn't like he was like knocking everybody out at 205 wasn't one punch knockout power um you know the same way a lot of these guys that heavyweight um yeah but i never forget that performance you had against glover to share it and the [ __ ] speed of that combination that he took glover out with and those uppercuts he threw like three uppercuts in a run they were just they were beautiful it was a great display of boxing when i see that yeah then it was late that was in the fifth round as well uh yeah you're right you know late in the fight so yeah you're right about that i just think that um we're doomed spent his entire career fighting at heavyweight it's not like he's getting knocked out by these heavyweights um you know and i think he's got a great chin so i think he's going to go to a decision but i do think gustafson wins this fight pretty decisively yeah yeah no okay well there you go we'll see a co-main event shogun versus little knock three i had no idea that these guys had fought twice before legends duke it up for the third time the two met previously in pride and at ufc 195 years ago with shogun winning both times little naga is 44 getting up there for sure shogun is 38 little nuggets of one inch it is one inch taller but sheldon will have a one inch reach advantage thank you for that harrington uh yeah been over a year since we've seen nagera fight last law last photo house what the [ __ ] is shogun still only 38 years old how is that even possible you know what i mean i as long as i've been into mma shogun has been there he has been a fixture when i first started getting back into like you know competitive martial arts and i heard about mma i obviously pride and ufc was where you were looking i was watching pride you know back in the day i mean he went on that run in 2004 when he had that that pride grand prix and he looked incredible he beat rampage he beat so many great fighters and the performances were incredible and he's still been going became ufc champion but he's still 38 years old three years younger than me lucas i mean what is going on uh yeah i mean look he's been these brazilians [ __ ] they start fighting when they're two and uh yeah i mean look the the you know on the flip side nogueira looks like he's 140. um so he did he looks like an elder gentleman yeah he's 44. i know he's not looking great both of these guys haven't fallen in a while i to be honest with you best thing maybe i'm going to just show my ass here a little bit you could have told me that both these guys have been retired and i would have been like yeah that makes sense i had no idea that neither of them had fought in like a year and a half i had no idea it also sort of doesn't make sense why are they doing this fight if if shogun won both of the other fights yeah all right there's an argument for that i guess i see what you're saying but you know come on i mean shogun and little knock they are legends of the game the nigeria brothers are mma royalty uh obviously big nugget the the more you know uh successful career if you will but his brother certainly had a tremendous career as well um looking at harrington's notes here neither man is particularly accurate whoa whoa whoa harrison legends of the game that's how he starts it neither man is particularly accurate says who [ __ ] i bet they're more [ __ ] accurate than you having turned jesus christ that's shogun that's little nog this is mma royalty and he starts the nose with neither man is particularly accurate and they have poor defense so expect a lot of leather to land on this one this is the notes see this is the thing he puts words in our mouth let's just read that again this is this is mma royalty by the pride grand prix champion the ufc light heavyweight champion and nogara brothers one of the brothers little nog tremendous stellar career this is how this is harrington's wrap-up neither man is particularly accurate but they both land quite a bit but they have poor defense so expect a lot of leather to land on this one saying that shogun is the more accurate takedown artist completing more than two every 15 minutes win lose or draw maguera says this will be his last fight all right well that's a good tidbit but the the backhanded compliments at the start so is that why they they booked this fight maybe maybe there's no i understand why they booked this fight two legends they they were like i have to fight somebody that's gonna make sense nogueira's like this guy bested me twice i want to go out with somebody who i have this much history with i didn't know it was in the garage last night i understand that and in a weird way it's like as a fan of the sport and especially an old school fan i can really appreciate it um yeah i i got no problem with it uh it's just yeah it's just a little weird when i saw it on paper i was like that's just strange that it's even happening harrington you were going to chime in with something that the chime in getting is off the charts on this episode but what were you going to say because you went like that you put your finger over then you went oh no and you let it go i wanted i wanted to defend the point that i was making as you know both guys uh you know we're talking over seven strikes landed per minute but only 52 percent accuracy at the highest uh for verdum and they're doing [ __ ] dog is in the office uh it's it's alfred um it's my fault sorry corrin came to drop off something sorry about that uh what is he he's at the gas digital studios where you should be lewis you should be leading by example so it wasn't his mom but what is going on like some kind of party over there is it a pants party what is going on who's this guy now that's hanging around in the background distracting dogs barking not named harry or alfie either they're the only ones that's actually alfred so it's pretty close uh that is corinne fisher of the world famous guys we [ __ ] podcast and without a country here on gas digital okay does your outfit jizz all over the floor though you know come on uh you were saying harry potter never when i'm dog sitting him um but what i was saying was so the highest defense is fabio verdum at 55 uh defense so it means like a lot of these shots are going to be getting through these guys do throw a lot uh like i said did you understand what bisping's saying though where you could probably choose better words that are a little less less disrespectful to two legendary fighters neither man is particularly accurate but they both land quite a bit and they have poor defense so expect this is royalty okay harrington we're done with you thank you for chiming i appreciate it handle this is why i said no charming i said if you let the kid chime he's gonna chime in with some disrespectful [ __ ] but yeah to your point lewis you know i mean these guys you know the legends of the game and if you're a little nog you know this is going to be your last fight win or lose you're bowing out you're saying thank you very much so you you don't want to fight an up-and-comer you know you don't want to be a stepping stone for somebody you want to fight somebody that is at a similar level in your career a name that has a lot of uh fan garner a lot of people know who they are and this is the perfect opponent and it also gives him a chance to get that revenge gives him a chance to you know to sell the score a little bit it'll it'll still be 2-1 but you know what i mean he gets to win in a rematch and for a little not sorry for shogun again of course he's kind of at a similar phase of his career i mean i know i said he's only 38 but he's had a long storied career so i think i i think even both guys i don't think we'll see shogun sticking around for much longer either so in that regard i think this is a good piece of matchmaking yeah i agree and look i've said this a while ago about guys like you know tito and chuck when they fought it's like look if you had the edge to fight and you have the name and you want to compete who you know who are we to say chocolate l you can't go compete you know it's like to be honest with you i i think like like yeah there's still some real value there with a lot of these guys and if they can compete i think it's great to actually have the ufc put it on somebody mentioned a long time ago sort of like a quote unquote legends league in the ufc or sort of like that division um you know what do you what do you think about something like that and actually sort of categorizing it because it's weird right because the ufc is the pinnacle of the the sport right the highest level of mixed martial arts in the world and you on one level you want anybody competing in the ufc to be moving toward a title they're in this trajectory the matchmaking makes sense towards that like this guy is ranked this way and that when he wins he moves up in his rankings and i think that that keeps this sport extremely naturally exciting the best are sort of always fighting the best but at the same time there are guys that you know maybe will never win a title but they have a lot of brand value yeah yeah yeah but i've got no interest in seeing that yeah i mean i think it was veto bellefore as well was talking about let's do a legends league what you mean so uh with you a place where we can go and watch fighters that used to be really good that used to be world champions they were in their prime and they were [ __ ] good but let's go to a place we can see them subpar washed up broken bad knees one eye it's called bellator yeah i think josh thompson and big john they they they commentate those guys um but uh inspired the gloves are off i don't want to watch that i don't want to watch that i'm sorry i want to see fighters in the prime i don't want to see them being rinsed and repeated and and exploited you know good for them you know i'm always happy to see them make money but uh no so listen this last fight i'm looking at the record of little nog um lost his last one to reinspire got knocked out prior to that knocked out sam alvid then he got knocked out against uh ryan bader then he knocked out patrick cummings then he lost two in a row one to shogun and of course anthony johnson he knocks everybody out so i mean the knockouts are starting to to accumulate nine losses only four of them by knockout so actually it's not too bad but he's uh you know he's 44 years old can't go on forever i think youth on his side shogun you know he's got the momentum he's he's beaten him twice before and i think he's got a you know more diverse skill set it'll be a good fight though you know those guys as we talk about it more number one i get more excited about it because the naguera brothers you forget that they're always just involved in really exciting fights of course he's a [ __ ] monster i just went through that he got knocked out in his last one then he knocked out some other then he got knocked out brian then he knocked out patrick cummings i mean his last four is have a killer be killed good and that's and that's what we like in watching fighters right so yeah and then there's also the just the implications like watching the guerrilla walk away after this fight is it's the end of an era you know an emotional thing because his brother's i i almost guarantee he'll be in his corner for his last fight i don't know of course his brother is an absolute legend the pair of them i mean i remember i i know him a little better now i've got his phone number but big nog antonio wrote rodriguez [ __ ] knows if i know his name rodrigo is heavy big nug rogerio's little mug big nog as he's known in certain circles uh yeah no no i remember when i first i started getting to know him i was like wow i was kind of starstruck you know he's the nicest guy ever and to see those guys there if he is in the corner you know they'll probably exchange a little hug and it'll be sad you know because they really really left their mark on this sport you know obviously some of the biggest names to come out of brazil they fought all over the world and they would get through these wars like the pride versus ufc wars they were the stars of pride and that that's time in history you got to remember that's when i love the ufc those were the guys that they were talking about oh they'd come over from pride and they destroyed the ufc guys yeah and it's it's incredible you think of that time in history that's when i became a huge mixed martial arts fan and i was like a ufc [ __ ] like i was like [ __ ] pride it's a 10-minute round that's stupid ropes why did i have rope like dude i was such a ufc fanboy and i was like if you guys were andre orlovsky would [ __ ] kill fate or he'd eat his [ __ ] children alive dude he should have heard me and it was just sort of like to look back and watch the ufc acquire pride and bring them all in and watch certain guys sort of like live up to those legendary statuses the nagara brothers shogun were those guys really no no one really lived up to that stages of course fedor never made his uh you know his long-awaited debut he couldn't get a deal done so that was a shame but even still in strikeforce he didn't you know he wasn't all that unfortunately uh who else mandalay silva never really lived up to the hype uh who uh merkel crowecop didn't really um you know fulfill or even achieve any kind of the greatness that he had in pride uh who else was there well the guerrilla won the title dog big nog won the title right yeah he did i was there he choked out tim sylvia with the guilty and i was there from you know so i think that if you if you win the title i think that's you know i think big knocked down sure all right and shogun won the title but he lost it again pretty quick yeah but i'm just saying like they didn't have those electric performances you know they were also coming against you know the the best of the best you know but i i think people are having to pass drug tests let's look let's pull back the fail let's say what we really mean here they weren't [ __ ] charged out of the mind on steroids you know what i mean and lo and behold it did affect their performance yeah yeah a lot of them but i mean like you got to give credit where credit's due i think big nog shogun um even though a little knockout he's competing now to this day and he's still it's not like he's losing but he's winning against guys that are really competitive to this day you know in the ufc the highest level of competition it says a lot for how good he is and um it's great i'm excited to watch this fight much more so after we spoke about it and sort of drops down what it is and the implications uh than i was even before this this podcast today so i'm really excited for this fight yeah yeah i mean when you break it down again you know two guys that have been around the sport forever the hell built the sport back in pride now in the ufc legends of brazil you know uh you know all fighters i would say have a [ __ ] special place in the heart for the nagara brothers and for shogun of course so yeah i mean to your point this is a tremendous fight a lot of the nostalgia coming into this one and i'm very excited for it as well i i think shogun gets the job done i think he's just fresher i think he's got less miles on the clock but he could never count out nigeria [ __ ] tough as old boots you know he could take a punch well still to this day uh does get caught in those fire fights i think shogun's got a speed advantage and a more diverse skill set nagera you know predominantly a boxer and a jiu jitsu guy but yeah i'll go i'll go with shogun but i am looking forward to it and either way i just want to say thank you to the nagara brothers for everything that they brought to the sport of mixed martial arts over the years uh big dog still involved uh with the ufc uh in brazil on on more of the the productional side and things like that you know and coaching the fighters and mentoring them so thank you to the nagara brothers and i can't wait to see the final performance um all right main event i'm [ __ ] excited for this one very very excited uh former champion robert whittaker had a bad loss against alexander took a little time off he had some problems uh but he's come back he said he's really healthy he's very very hungry he said that he was he's fallen out of love with the game falling in and out of love and out of love with the game falling in and out of love and then out of love with the game you can't fall in and out of love and then i love with the game you got to love it or not love it you can't fall in and out of love and then out of love with you you can't do that anyway whatever you're doing either you're having some sort of brain aneurysm or you're singing a song either way bro you don't follow the sport of mixed martial arts everybody harrington harrington i mean i've i've been falling in in and out of love for yeah louise doesn't know what the [ __ ] you're talking about don't tell him it's fine don't i don't want you to oh i i'm not cool because i don't know what your dumb [ __ ] references you're a [ __ ] noob bro in and out of love in and out of love with the game the with you with you i'm sorry tyron we're having a laugh at your expense granted but we're having a lot oh it's a tyrant song yes the song is what google okay so i'm not i'm not a [ __ ] mma fan because i don't know tyron's music you're not on twitter looking at all the troll jobs okay i thought you were a fan you're showing your newbieness you're showing your uninitiatedness okay lack of commitment to this [ __ ] podcast is what you're showing this fight is uh super exciting both guys that uh i i mean honestly we talk about you being the the face of mixed martial arts in england taylor is trying to be that next guy the face of mixed martial arts for england robert whittaker essentially has become the face of mixed martial arts for australia um you know this fight is super exciting on paper um where when you watch a fight at 185 pounds are you able to truly enjoy it yet because it's been a while i remember dude for a while your thing was you're like dude i want everyone to lose at 185 pounds like you've been rooting for no one no no no no no i mean number one uh darren till is he's not trying darren till is the face of uk mixed martial arts now not the same way that you are not i'm not sucking your dick here you were the [ __ ] face of uk mixed martial arts darren till you know yeah i don't know that he's filled those shoes necessarily yet and that's really not me kissing your ass i'm d in a very real way i'm saying i don't think that well well that's very kind of he's saying i appreciate that but darren till is a great successor and he's doing a fantastic job one of the most uh entertaining and engaging people on social media of course and on podcasts he's one of our favorite guests he's so funny now we're going to get him back on soon he is [ __ ] hilarious uh but um yeah this is a tough fight of course you know we know uh darren lost a terrible thing then whatever happened to mas vidal but again as as i was saying about people moving up weight divisions making 170 for darren that must have killed him because he's a big dude i remember when i first met darren till i was in london for a ufc fight and uh i do an interview and he was going in after me to do the interview and i walked out and he was there because even though he's from liverpool we didn't mix it the same circles you know i i i didn't really hang around with liverpool much anyway but in the northwest i never really bumped into him i know some of his friends though uh but yeah first time i met him i was like holy [ __ ] he's a big dude he's six foot two he's got broad shoulders making 170 must have been a [ __ ] nightmare for him moves up to 185 had his first fight against kelvin gastelum uh and you know beat kelvin you know funnily enough at the fighter meetings for kelvin gastelum versus who uh jacob manson i think i spoke about this kelvin gaslamp saying oh i i took that fight against their witty cat sorry against darren till too soon i took it too soon and as he's saying that i'm looking at the notes and i'm like it was a seven month break kelvin no disrespect i'm like i fought you on two weeks notice after being on the piss in new york okay and and i said to him one time at the fox studios having a laugh i said yeah but you didn't really fight me did you yeah i just been choked out of george sapierre went on the piss and then flew to shanghai's before him in shanghai you didn't really fight me he's like well how'd the fighting mike you know and i was like and now we're sitting there in the meeting saying oh i took the fight too soon seven months was too soon and i was like i was i was like i was dying to say something try three weeks [ __ ] i was dying to say something but i didn't you know you know i gotta be the the the the [ __ ] bigger [ __ ] man [ __ ] face no i'm joking i'm joking just joking i'm only serious no no no so he says he took that fight too soon either way down until beating fair and square on the night and now he's fighting robert whitaker and if he can beat robert whittaker former champion you've got to think a matchup with the winner of coal state or alexander is down the line um that was the bigger guy he's six foot two when he squared in squared up pardon me they looked almost the same height but uh whitaker had those big comfy reebok shoes on and then uh till i have flip-flops on that thing but he's the bigger guy 6-4 versus 6-2 you know i think darren's got the better technical striking he's the bigger guy he's got the momentum but robert's hungry you know he was kind of embarrassed against that asana it was a bad performance you know he said he took some time away and now he's hungry again uh i guess that'll sound it wasn't a good performance adasanji executed perfectly though did what he needed to do it's all about the approach of robert whitaker for me what is he going to bring to the table yeah i mean you know just on paper i feel like it looks like darren till probably has a little bit of an advantage striking advantage they're both strikers um you know but it seems to be super close i honestly if if you had a gun on my head i couldn't pick who was going to win this fight i'm sort of rooting for tillmore um i don't know if you can say that as an employee of the ufc who you're technically rooting for um i i really like darren till i think he's great for the sport i think you see certain personality types that really um i sort of look at that right so it's not even like i'm not i'm not a big fan of any one fighter in particular i'm like oh i really want that guy to win i'm a fan of the sport in general and i i'm a fan of of exciting things happening for and to the sport and this is not a knock on robert whitaker at all but i think darren till you know he wins this fight the matchups that are possible you have some really big exciting matchups that we haven't seen yet and i think that it probably you know will lend more eyes you put a title around darren till's waist i think it actually really helps out the sport of mixed martial arts and i think he's grown once again i think he's just great when he comes on our show when i see him on other podcasts when i see him [ __ ] around on social media he just gets what he's supposed to be doing and i think that overall is great for the sport yeah no i totally agree with everything you said there uh and yeah you know i mean listen for him to win it'd be great for uk mixed martial arts obviously i'm british so i always support those guys but robert whitaker on the flip side is also one of the nicest guys he really is just a good solid dude you know he's a hard worker he was a good champion there's some great fights some great performances when he knocked out brunson those two wars with joel romero so he brought a lot of excitement uh uh but the question remains is he you know just accepted the fact that okay i was the champion i had a good career and now i'm gonna have a few more fights and and put some cash in the bank before i retire right is that the robert whitaker that's showing up or is it one that's like [ __ ] up i want my belt back and he's training accordingly because if it's the first scenario where is that all right well i have my time as champion i'll have a couple more fights and then you know cash in on that status so to speak and then go off and live my life as a former champion and open gyms and live his life in australia or is he on that [ __ ] track where no i'm hungry i want that bell back i i know i could beat arasana and i'm gonna [ __ ] prove it by beating darren till right there are two very very different mindsets what's up alpha he's bringing him for a little stroke there are two very different mindsets you know what i'm saying and there'll be two very different fighters on the night well let's assume this is what i always assume in that case right the best version of each guy shows up let's just assume they do everything they're supposed to do the best version i think they will the best version of each guy will show up so who do you think wins best version of each guy shows up based off of what you've seen from this guy because i i couldn't tell you it's literally me just picking a name in the dark yeah yeah it's tough it is a tough fight and and i would lean towards darren all day because i know that you know his strike is fantastic i say it time and time again but my striking coach does morris who knows uk thai boxing more than anybody he says [ __ ] man when he was on the thai boxing scene he was an absolute monster and you know the uk thai boxing scene is the best in the world so oh go [ __ ] yourselves because it really is i'm telling it's world class uh and he was incredible but it's that one fight against mas vidal that i think you know causes me from having so much confidence in picking him out right you know what i'm saying because mas vidal was a smaller guy 170 as his robert reed was a 170 that went up to 185 let's see fought a lot at 155 as well any photo 155 as well you are right and and he caught him and he and he knocked him out robert's best shot is that left hook if he can get on the inside and land that he's going to cause problems you know by doing that darren's very much straight shots he's the thai boxer you know so therefore he doesn't move a lot on the feet he has tremendous kicks uh good punching power carries his chin a little high in the air it's kind of similar to the arizona fight in some ways in some ways of of course the kicks and the attacks that are sonya has are very different from till but again he's just kickboxing he's a taller guy uh till last of those straight shots whiskers got to get on the inside the game plan that he had against ellison he was kind of lunging him with that left hook it was a terrible game plan and he got exposed so he's gonna have to come with the smarter gameplay he's gonna have to use a lot of faints a lot of head movement to get on the inside if you can get on the inside he's gonna give down some troubles but if darren can keep him on the outside i think he's got the longer reach uh and he's probably the faster guy and certainly taking less damage throughout his career i don't know it's a very very interesting fight yeah i i agree i'm excited for it saturday night uh main card annoyingly starts uh earlier than the pay-per-views but i'm gonna make it work get to a bar in jersey uh dirty jurors bisping you'd be watching with the family which is nice uh we'll be back on monday if you guys do love the show i will tell you first hold on hold on hold on oh you're right but we got to do i've got to give a pic i can't sit on the fence like that i can't do free trial picks main event i'm just picking whoever you're picking this ping i'm gonna tell you right now so don't even ask me i i can't i couldn't choose um who do you pick in this main event a lot of people depend on your picks uh well i don't think they do although they would be smart too but uh i gotta be careful that i don't let my head overtake it but i think darren till my heart's leaning towards darren till obviously i want the best for darren i love robert as well though he's honestly he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet tremendous guy i've got so much respect for him and the way that he fights and the wars that he had but then in person just just the coolest guy the complete opposite of what you'd expect so you know it's really hard because i feel bad hold on harrington's put something else in there let's have a look at this distraction no no nothing nothing thanks for that uh no it's hard to choose uh but darren i think it's in his destiny to be the champion i do i think he's destined to be the champ he's going to be the next uk champ so i'm going to pick darren you know uh he's going to have to be busier than what he was in the gastlin fight though the gaston fight was a little hesitant but of course he was coming back after a bad knockout himself so i think we're going to see uh till with the higher output i think whitaker's gonna make him work for it i think he's gonna go to a decision and i got down until by decision very cool i agree we will see you guys on monday afternoon hold on i know you're itching to get out of here but one last thing brian
