[Music] when problems arise when battles are before us when we experience spiritual warfare the word of god has to be a source of constant reassurance to us it must be that which ignites the fire in our faith it must kick-start your hope and belief so that regardless of what you're facing despite the size of the enemy despite whatever is taking place in our lives [Music] we have a divine and heavenly insurance policy which is the word of god we're backed by angelic forces that come to our aid when we shout the name of jesus in desperate need of help we have security in our father's faithfulness he has never lost a battle he has never been defeated nor can ever be defeated so lift your head up high woman of god keep your head high man of god the battle is not yours but it's the lord's the fight before you is one that you should fight on your knees and not with your fists this fight before you is not one that you should fight with your own strength but it's one that you should be fighting with god's word i urge you to look at luke chapter four closely when jesus was in the wilderness he was tempted by the devil for 40 days and in verse 3 the bible says and the devil said to him if you are the son of god command the stone to become bread now pay attention to verse 4 and the response of jesus the bible says but jesus answered him saying it is written man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of god the devil tried again to tempt jesus and his response yet again in verse 8 was get behind me satan for it is written you shall worship the lord your god and him only you shall serve now the devil was audacious he thought to try a third time but jesus responded in verse 12 saying it has been said you shall not tempt the lord your god [Music] three times the devil attacked and three times jesus referred to god's word three times he responded it is written it is written it has been said so i want to speak to you today that mountain you're facing tell it it is written i am more than a conqueror through him who loves me [Music] when the devil attacks you with feelings of shame when he accuses you or tries to condemn respond and say it is written i am persuaded in fact i am convinced and i declare that neither death nor life nor angels nor demons neither the present nor the future nor any powers neither height or depth nor anything else in all creation can separate me from the love of god that is in christ jesus my lord [Music] i encourage you to not entertain the devil's attacks don't tolerate them we have victory in the name of jesus we have victory and should declare that we are winners when we open the word of god lord jesus i thank you for your grace and mercy i thank you for making me victorious in your name i pray and declare deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 7 the lord will cause my enemies those who rise against me to be defeated before my face they shall come against me one way and flee before me seven ways i pray and declare luke 10 verse 19 i have been given authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the powers of the enemy and nothing will harm me in jesus name i pray i bless you lord for the power that is in your word i take confidence from the word because it tells me that you are a god who will fight for me [Music] at your command are a host of angels that can come and defend me in the middle of my battle i know that i am not alone and because i know that you are with me i will neither be shaken nor fearful i will neither be afraid because god emmanuel is with me i am never alone in the battle because god goes with me my god goes ahead of me preparing the way for me to walk in safety to walk in peace and victory i confess that the lord is the one who will deliver and rescue me from the enemy what may be too strong for me is not too strong for my lord and savior jesus christ what may be too difficult for me is no match for my god what might trouble me will be no trouble for my god [Music] and i thank you lord jesus for you are greater than anything i could face you are greater bigger mightier than goliath than any red sea you king jesus are bigger than any problem any storm or situation [Music] and i am so truly grateful that you are on my side you are my pillar of support my chief cornerstone [Music] i declare that the eternal god jehovah is my refuge he is my shield and his everlasting arms will not only hold me but they will support me and uplift me to new heights father i ask that you would fill me with boldness boldness so that in the middle of a spiritual battle i can stand and believe on your word so that i can stand on your promise that tells me in second timothy chapter 1 verse 7 that the spirit god gave me does not make me fearful no the holy spirit gives me power love and a sound mind i invite the spirit of the lord to always be with me may the holy spirit fill me with bold fire and conviction so that i would not be intimidated by the enemy and his forces but instead i will rejoice that god's strength is made perfect in my weakness i thank you lord and i confess that i have a sound mind i confess that i live with and i am accustomed to the power of god operating in my life and above all i thank you for the richness of your love a perfect love that drives out all fear may you take all the glory and all the praise for each and every single one of my victories [Music] your word in revelation 5 verse 12 says in a loud voice they were saying worthy is the lamb who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise my heart cries out today in praise and adoration thank you jesus [Music] thank you in advance lord for that breakthrough for opening that door of opportunity thank you for pouring out your most wonderful and divine blessings i praise you in advance that my cup runeth over filling with favor and blessings from above you are god almighty in jesus name i pray amen our future is secured in the lord the bible says in hebrews 9 verse 28 so christ sacrificed once to take away the sins of many and he will appear a second time not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him jesus took all of our sins to the cross he took up our pain he took our shame blameless but out of love he went through all of that he endured the cross so that we could be saved and when he appears for a second time the bible is clear that christ's second appearance will not be to bear any sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him [Music] and so i would like to encourage you today to wait on the lord he is the one who will bring you salvation he is the one who will bring deliverance in your life he is the one who will bring hope everlasting joy and peace he is the one who will renew your strength now the bible says he will appear a second time not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him it's not saying to all people but it's saying to those meaning he is only bringing salvation to those people who have made the decision to wait on him those who have made a decision to trust in him salvation is personal it's your decision it's your decision to place your hope in the lord or elsewhere it's your decision to answer the call of christ in your heart and live for him it's your decision to pray even i encourage you to examine yourself today are you in the group of those who are waiting on him hebrews 12 verse 1 and 2 says therefore we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us looking unto jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of god [Music] saints we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses and i want you today to decide decide to wait and trust in jesus decide to rely on his strength so that you can lay aside every weight meaning everything that burdens you decide to rely on the power that's in his blood so that you can remove the sin which so easily ensnares us decide to look unto jesus the author the finisher of our faith now let us pray lord jesus you are a merciful god a loving father thank you for your precious word which gives me hope that i do have a future which is secure in you i pray that even through the trials and difficulties of my life even through the deep waters through the fire and the many different seasons i may face help me to always be committed to you help me to always be a faithful servant help me to let go and fall back into the safety of your arms into the safety of your word and promises lord help me to keep trusting in you even when i'm tested even when i'm challenged or opposed give me a heart that is anchored in your word [Music] i pray that you would remove and destroy everything that may hinder my walk with you remove every barrier remove every obstacle remove every hurdle that tries to either stop me or slow me down from doing your work remove that which tries to stop me from living for you and fully trusting you with all of my heart soul and mind [Music] father i pray that you would crush everything sent by the enemy find me to be someone who is obedient to your call find me to be someone who is sincere when they pray find me to be someone who is humble and willing to be used of you in any capacity holy spirit strengthen me from within so that i can persevere in prayer help me to build my faith help me to press toward the mark of my calling in this world i pray that you would help me be a living witness of the gospel help me not to just know god's word but to reach out to lost souls and tell them about your goodness and your word of truth in the name of jesus i speak to anything and everything that may be in my life trying to block my progress as a christian anything trying to hinder my growth i pray that whatever it is it's destroyed in the name of jesus just as hebrews 12 1 and 2 says i pray that you would give me the grace to lay aside every weight that hinders my faith give me the grace to throw away everything pulling me away from you whatever it may be whether it is my car my career whatever is pulling me away from you lord i want no part of it i would rather have jesus than silver and gold are the riches of this earth [Music] protect me god not to fall into the sin of unbelief prevent me from faltering whatever is in me that is not of you i pray you remove [Music] that includes all the seeds of doubt and disbelief may you shake off everything that ensnares and hinders me king jesus [Music] because i want to pursue you with a fervency with a pure passion [Music] i want to pursue you jesus faithfully with steadfastness and resilience whatever i am tempted with give me strength [Music] whatever i find challenging in this life give me the power to overcome [Music] let nothing from the devil ensnare or entangle me in jesus name i will not be fearful because the word of god says in second timothy 1 verse 7 for god has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind [Music] may i continue to grow in knowledge and understanding when it comes to your promises so that i can know you more lord the more i know you the more i am grounded and unshaken the more i know you then that leaves no room for the spirit of fear to overwhelm me may the blood of jesus release me from everything that seeks to choke my faith lord let your holy spirit flourish within me let my life be filled with your presence your glory and your power [Music] fill my life with blessings from heaven god plant seeds of love and peace in my heart and so i confess that greater is he who is in me than the spirit of fear in this world instead of fear i choose to live in faith to walk by faith and i will place my faith in god jehovah elohim the alpha and omega in jesus name i pray amen [Music] how do you find peace and joy in a world filled with struggle how do you find peace and joy in a world where many people's daily lives can be marred by conflict and turmoil well there is an answer there is a savior called jesus christ a provider of peace peace that surpasses all understanding he is a divine supplier of joy joy unspeakable now what you and i have to do is to choose to believe in him choose to accept him we need to make the choice to allow the peace of god to infiltrate our hearts and minds and we do this by deciding to run to god we have to choose to trust in him no matter what no matter what others say no matter what they don't say the choice is ours jesus said in the bible peace i leave with you my peace i give to you not as the world gives do i give to you let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid therefore it's up to us to choose whether or not we accept the peace that jesus christ gives us we find peace and joy by choosing to pray in all that we face instead of letting yourself get anxious i encourage you to choose faith over fear choose not to stress but to believe that god is always with us and he is always in control dear friends we can choose to have peace by setting our minds and our thoughts on those things that are true and right on those things that are above and not on this earth a few days rest a vacation time alone or music will not give us lasting peace all of that will not give us peace in the midst of a storm but when we set our minds on jesus and when we set our minds on the word then we'll truly understand that the bible says in isaiah 26 verse 3 you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you don't you desire perfect peace [Music] and the bible says you will keep him it's a state of constant peace meaning during seasons of pain god will keep you in a state of perfect peace during stormy seasons where the clouds are gray and there seems to be no sunshine ahead god will keep you in perfect peace so i encourage you to keep your mind fixed on the one who is the true source of peace jesus christ now let us pray [Music] my dear lord and savior i know that in whatever i face whatever challenge is presented before me not only are you my good shepherd but you are my peace my joy and my refuge in mark chapter 4 verse 39 your word says then he arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea peace be still and the wind ceased and there was a great calm rebuke the storms in my life jesus those storms that come only to discourage me those storms that come only to disturb i ask that you lord and your mighty power arise and rebuke those attacks as you speak the words peace be still i now declare a great calm over my life and my family the wind has ceased the disruption has ceased no more turmoil and unrest because jesus christ has promised me peace he has promised me to be anxious for nothing and so i call on your name lord i come to you with praise on my lips i come to you with an expectant heart i say that you are holy jesus you are majestic deserving of all praise your name is worthy to be reverenced and adored your name alone is higher than every other name so today i do call on the one who is the lord of lords jesus christ the living son of god proverbs 16 7 says when a man's ways please the lord he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him i pray that my ways would please you jesus so that even my enemies even those who oppose me those who don't like me will have no choice but to bow down to your word and be at peace with me because my ways please you i am chasing after you because you offer a peace that is lasting you offer a peace that makes me confident you offer what is real and what is true peace and joy your word lord jesus fills me with deep assurance in the midst of all that i may face your word brings peace to my life because it says the lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace numbers chapter 6 verse 26 i am persuaded that nothing in my past present or future nothing in the kingdom of darkness or here on earth can steal your peace or joy from me when i constantly abide under your shadow remove that which wishes to rise and choke out your peace out of my life remove that which wishes to rise and disrupt the joy you have given me instead i only welcome your presence i only welcome your spirit which brings wise counsel divine comfort and real freedom from bondage i am blessed because i can declare psalm 55 verse 18 he has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me for there were many against me i am blessed because i can declare romans 16 verse 20 which says and the god of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly the grace of our lord jesus christ be with you i come into agreement with your word the word of the lord which gives me strength and confidence indeed i will crush the devil under my feet because of the awesome peace from my lord jesus christ indeed the lord has redeemed my soul in peace from all who stood against me i am of good cheer because nothing is too much for me to bear as i am in christ nothing can make me shake or leave me trembling because my god is a very present help in times of trouble may the holy spirit continue to remind me that i am not alone when i face adversity when the storms of life come along i can run to jesus christ who will offer me shelter and be my deliverer be blessed and glorified in jesus mighty name i pray amen [Music] the apostle paul in first timothy chapter 1 verse 12 to 17 wrote the following i thank christ jesus our lord who has given me strength that he considers me trustworthy appointing me to his service even though i was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man i was shown mercy because i acted in ignorance and unbelief the grace of our lord was poured out on me abundantly along with the faith and love that are in christ jesus here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance christ jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom i am the worst but for that very reason i was shown mercy so that in me the worst of sinners christ jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life now to the king eternal immortal invisible the only god be honor and glory forever and ever amen i believe that we can all pray and claim this passage of scripture even today in our own personal lives consider the points that paul just covered he is thankful to the lord jesus who he acknowledges as his source of strength that's something that you and i can acknowledge too god is the source of our strength paul is grateful that the lord considered him trustworthy and appointed him to his service now when it comes to us the fact that we are here today the fact that we are still breathing means that god still has a purpose for our lives we still have a duty to accomplish as servants of the most high who are here on earth and in verse 13 paul begins to reflect on his sinful past he was a blasphemer a persecutor violent he acted in ignorance and unbelief but he was still shown mercy in fact twice in verse 15 and 16 paul refers to himself as the worst of sinners and even as the worst of sinners mercy was still extended to him i believe this is the same for us too regardless of the sins you have committed jesus christ has and is and he will show you mercy if you repent now finally if you pay attention to verse 14 this is what we should really hold on to the grace of our lord was poured out on me abundantly along with the faith and the love that are in christ jesus this is our reason to be joyful this is our reason to be full of hope god has poured out abundantly grace faith and his love on us now let us pray dear lord i thank you for pouring out your amazing grace and your amazing love over my life over my family even though i do not deserve it even though we cannot repay you you have still in your mercy loved me unconditionally i pray that you will hold me in your loving arms today protect my family and my loved ones guide each and every step that i take lead me in all my ways i pray that i would walk by faith and not by sight i pray that i may always walk under your protection in your wisdom and in line with your word there is no guarantee that i will live a life free of trials and tribulation but i thank you that i do have the guarantee that my help comes from the lord and i trust and believe that you will deliver me each and every time that i call on your name i invite you lord to be close to me as i draw closer to you you are the giver of all good things and i thank you because you have given me joy unspeakable you have given me unmerited favor you have given me victory over the devil you give me the strength to overcome each and every challenge that i may face with your grace and favor i can do all things through christ who strengthens me i thank you and i praise you for being an almighty keeper and a wonderful provider i pray that my reality will be your goodness your favor your love and your peace i trade in my sorrow and weakness for strength and joy in you lord take away the voids that are in my life the feelings of emptiness and make me whole may i be satisfied by the treasure that is in your word [Music] i pray for peace that passes all understanding and i declare that that peace is mine in the name of jesus christ father i may not see all of the attacks from the devil but i know that you have defended me time and time again and for that i am grateful i am grateful for the fact that i am safe my family is protected i have breath in my body i have strength in my bones because of you i am healthy and i live this life with joy inside me this is evidence that your hand is upon my life evidence of your mercy in my life evidence that you are a god who has stood by me as my strength as my shield as my defender and deliverer give me courage and boldness in my faith god i pray that you would remove every doubt every seed of unbelief or fear i praise you for my family and loved ones i ask that you will continue to bless us in everything that we seek and everything that we do i speak victory over all challenges overall obstacles that i may face today i claim renewed strength as i wait on you lord your word is truth and there is power in your word may the holy spirit constantly urge me and convict me to always study and meditate on your word that is living and powerful i thank you and i praise you for your many promises promises that provide me with a sense of security promises that provide me with hope may you continue to pour out your blessings upon my life in the mighty name of jesus christ i pray amen [Music] we have many things that fight for our attention whether you're at home at work or even at church there is always something that seeks to demand your time to demand your focus and your attention but i encourage you today despite there being so many things demanding our attention we should be mindful of what we are giving our attention to the bible says in matthew 22 37 jesus said love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind when you love something when you love someone when you love them with all your heart soul and mind then that person has your attention that person or that thing takes your time you make room to accommodate that which you love you make adjustments you prioritize and move things around so that you can give time to that which you love in fact if you love something or someone enough you will wake up early you will go to sleep later you will find the energy somewhere and somehow to accommodate a relationship between you you will do near enough anything when the love is so strong that it's with all your heart and with all your soul so as you listen may i ask you the question do you love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all of your mind are you waking up earlier just so you can say good morning lord jesus i place today in your hands are you making room to accommodate the lord in your daily schedule are you making adjustments to your day so that you can read the word of god so that you can pray i encourage you to be obedient to the words of jesus love the lord your god with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind be obedient to the word of god in deuteronomy 11 verse 1 which says therefore you shall love the lord your god and keep his charge his statutes his judgments and his commandments always be obedient to the word of god in joshua chapter 22 verse 5 which says but take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which moses the servant of the lord commanded you to love the lord your god to walk in all his ways to keep his commandments to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul be obedient to the word of god in psalm 31 23 which says o love the lord all you his saints for the lord preserves the faithful and fully repays the proud person so with this understanding let us pray lord jesus you are great and mighty you are holy and worthy thank you for your faithfulness you have been good to me father i pray that you remove everything that is hindering me from my life remove everything that is blocking me from having a closer relationship with you take away those things that are a distraction those things that disengage me from you take away anything that wants or does demand my attention above you open my eyes so that i can see it so that i can discern those areas which are competing with you in my life and i pray that you would give me the strength not just to identify but to remove those things i desire to be more and more like you lord first john chapter 1 verse 6 says if we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness we lie and do not practice the truth i pray that i may always walk in the light that is your word the bible says your word is like a lamp unto my feet i pray that you would help me lord to keep your word on my heart may i be focused and attentive to your word which is sharper than any two-edged sword give me the grace to put you first to put you ahead and above all of my daily tasks my schedule and my responsibilities i will forever place you above all things deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 16 says i command you today to love the lord your god to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments his statutes and his judgment that you may live and multiply and the lord your god will bless you in the land which you go to possess holy spirit will you help me to be obedient to god's word help me to walk in the way that pleases god help me to keep all of his commandments in my life may his statutes be close to my heart give me the strength to live in a manner that is indicative of someone who has been transformed by the love of christ i pray for your help and guidance holy ghost help me to stand up and stand out for christ the bible tells me not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of god transform my mind transform my way of thinking so that i may be focused on my relationship with you lord jesus give me a desire to chase after you [Music] lord i pray for a heart of worship like david so that i can worship you in spirit and in truth i pray that you would give me the strength and the boldness to refuse to bow down to anything and everything that seeks to take your place in my heart anything that seeks to take my attention away from you help me to be bold enough to remove it whether it be a career or a relationship help me not to bow down to any other gods or to any idols i thank you for listening to this prayer lord may you be glorified and honored i uplift your holy name for you alone are worthy to be praised in the mighty and precious name of jesus christ i pray [Music] amen [Music] the bible encourages us to wait on the lord and i believe that sometimes when we do have trouble waiting on god when we have trouble believing that everything is going to work out or when we have a lack of patience this can be because we are not aware of the many blessings that can be found in waiting on the lord psalm 40 verse 1 says i waited patiently for the lord and he inclined to me and heard my cry so the psalmist here is speaking of god leaning towards him once he waited patiently for him when we as believers wait patiently for the lord when we practice to be still and know that he is god though we may wait for a longer period of time than we would want to we do not wait in vain in the fullness of his timing just as the psalmist said he will incline to you meaning that he will lean towards you when you have given him his jew reverence and shown him that you have a willing heart waiting on god means that you are in total surrender and faith that there is no hope in anything else but in the lord and for those who place their expectations in the lord for those who wait in faith and wait with patience god is faithful enough to hear their cry the bible confirms this in first john chapter 5 verse 14 and 15. now this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him so confidence in god faith in god will lead him to hear you if you ask according to his will and if you don't know what to ask according to his will then all you need to do is to look through the bible for his promises we can ask for healing because isaiah 53 verse 5 tells us that he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement for our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed we can ask for strength because part b of nehemiah chapter 8 verse 10 tells us do not sorrow for the joy of the lord is your strength we can ask to be blessed and elevated by god because psalm 90 verse 17 says may the favor of the lord our god rest on us establish the work of our hands for us yes establish the work of our hands so i encourage you today to wait on the lord put your confidence in him put your hope and trust in him because it's only in us waiting for his timing that we can experience his many blessings [Music] now let us pray lord jesus i come before you today asking for patience within my heart give me the patience lord to wait on you the patience to look unto you i pray that psalm 40 verse 1 may become a reality to me so that when i wait patiently on you you will incline your ears to hear my cry i pray that you would set my feet upon a rock and establish my ways lord i believe that when i wait on you lord i will find answers to all of my troubles i will meet the one who will and can rescue me in the time of distress [Music] psalm 40 verse 2 says that he also brought me out of a horrible pit out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my steps indeed lord there are many blessings in me waiting on you you will bring me out of a state of calamity so that i might be saved from trouble i praise you because it's only you who could have taken me from a pit of darkness and sin it's only you who could have taken me from a low place and saved me the bible says that you have set my feet upon a rock and this signifies a place of strength and safety thank you for placing my feet on rock solid ground on safe ground thank you for your promise to establish my steps i pray that my heart may be one that practices patience may i have a heart that is willing to completely surrender and yield to whatever your will is and to whatever your timing is father i invite you to work within me change my life for the better lord move me from guilt to justification take me from sinfulness to pursuing a righteous and christ-like way of life your word in psalm 40 verse 3 says that he has put a new song in my mouth praise to our god many will see it and fear and will trust in the lord blessed is the man who makes the lord his trust and does not respect the proud nor such as turn aside to lies many o lord my god are your wonderful works which you have done and your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to you in order if i would declare and speak of them they are more than can be numbered i pray that just as the psalmist said you would place a new song in my mouth a song that praises you a song that realizes just how loving just how merciful and just how caring you are lord i thank you for your many wonderful works and i am glad that your word tells us that you have many thoughts towards us thoughts of good and not of evil thoughts for us as your children to have a hope and a future may you be praised and glorified teach me to wait on you lord teach me to try a third time but jesus responded in verse 12 saying it has been said you shall not tempt the lord your god [Music] three times the devil attacked and three times jesus referred to god's word three times he responded it is written it is written it has been said so i want to speak to you today that mountain you're facing tell it it is written i am more than a conqueror through him who loves me [Music] when the devil attacks you with feelings of shame when he accuses you or tries to condemn respond and say it is written i am persuaded in fact i am convinced and i declare that neither death nor life nor angels nor demons neither the present nor the future nor any powers neither height or depth nor anything else in all creation can separate me from the love of god that is in christ jesus my lord [Music] i encourage you to not entertain the devil's attacks don't tolerate them we have victory in the name of jesus we have victory and should declare that we are winners when we open the word of god lord jesus i thank you for your grace and mercy i thank you for making me victorious in your name i pray and declare deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 7 the lord will cause my enemies those who rise against me to be defeated before my face they shall come against me one way and flee before me seven ways i pray and declare luke 10 verse 19 i have been given authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the powers of the enemy and nothing will harm me in jesus name i pray i bless you lord for the power that is in your word i take confidence from the word because it tells me that you are a god who will fight for me [Music] at your command are a host of angels that can come and defend me in the middle of my battle i know that i am not alone and because i know that you are with me i will neither be shaken nor fearful i will neither be afraid because god emmanuel is with me i am never alone in the battle because god goes with me my god goes ahead of me preparing the way for me to walk in safety to walk in peace and victory i confess that the lord is the one who will deliver and rescue me from the enemy what may be too strong for me is not too strong for my lord and savior jesus christ what may be too difficult for me is no match for my god what might trouble me will be no trouble for my god [Music] and i thank you lord jesus for you are greater than anything i could face you are greater bigger mightier than goliath than any red sea you king jesus are bigger than any problem any storm or situation [Music] and i am so truly grateful that you are on my side you are my pillar of support my chief cornerstone i declare that the eternal god jehovah is my refuge he is my shield and his everlasting arms will not only hold me but they will support me and uplift me to new heights father i ask that you would fill me with boldness boldness so that in the middle of a spiritual battle i can stand and believe on your word so that i can stand on your promise that tells me in second timothy chapter 1 verse 7 that the spirit god gave me does not make me fearful no the holy spirit gives me power love and a sound mind i invite the spirit of the lord to always be with me may the holy spirit fill me with bold fire and conviction so that i would not be intimidated by the enemy and his forces but instead i will rejoice that god's strength is made perfect in my weakness i thank you lord and i confess that i have a sound mind i confess that i live with and i am accustomed to the power of god operating in my life and above all i thank you for the richness of your love a perfect love that drives out all fear may you take all the glory and all the praise for each and every single one of my victories [Music] your word in revelation 5 verse 12 says in a loud voice they were saying worthy is the lamb who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise my heart cries out today in praise and adoration thank you jesus [Music] thank you in advance lord for that breakthrough for opening that door of opportunity thank you for pouring out your most wonderful and divine blessings i praise you in advance that my cup runeth over filling with favor and blessings from above you are god almighty in jesus name i pray amen [Music] our future is secured in the lord the bible says in hebrews 9 verse 28 so christ sacrificed once to take away the sins of many and he will appear a second time not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him [Music] jesus took all of our sins to the cross he took up our pain he took our shame blameless but out of love he went through all of that he endured the cross so that we could be saved and when he appears for a second time the bible is clear that christ's second appearance will not be to bear any sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him and so i would like to encourage you today to wait on the lord he is the one who will bring you salvation he is the one who will bring deliverance in your life he is the one who will bring hope everlasting joy and peace he is the one who will renew your strength now the bible says he will appear a second time not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him it's not saying to all people but it's saying to those meaning he is only bringing salvation to those people who have made the decision to wait on him those who have made a decision to trust in him salvation is personal it's your decision it's your decision to place your hope in the lord or elsewhere it's your decision to answer the call of christ in your heart and live for him it's your decision to pray even i encourage you to examine yourself today are you in the group of those who are waiting on him hebrews 12 verse 1 and 2 says therefore we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us looking unto jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of god [Music] saints we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses and i want you today to decide decide to wait and trust in jesus decide to rely on his strength so that you can lay aside every weight meaning everything that burdens you decide to rely on the power that's in his blood so that you can remove the sin which so easily ensnares us decide to look unto jesus the author the finisher of our faith [Music] now let us pray lord jesus you are a merciful god a loving father thank you for your precious word which gives me hope that i do have a future which is secure in you i pray that even through the trials and difficulties of my life even through the deep waters through the fire and the many different seasons i may face help me to always be committed to you help me to always be a faithful servant help me to let go and fall back into the safety of your arms into the safety of your word and promises lord help me to keep trusting in you even when i'm tested even when i'm challenged or opposed give me a heart that is anchored in your word [Music] i pray that you would remove and destroy everything that may hinder my walk with you remove every barrier remove every obstacle remove every hurdle that tries to either stop me or slow me down from doing your work remove that which tries to stop me from living for you and fully trusting you with all of my heart soul and mind father i pray that you would crush everything sent by the enemy find me to be someone who is obedient to your call find me to be someone who is sincere when they pray find me to be someone who is humble and willing to be used of you in any capacity holy spirit strengthen me from within so that i can persevere in prayer help me to build my faith help me to press toward the mark of my calling in this world i pray that you would help me be a living witness of the gospel help me not to just know god's word but to reach out to lost souls and tell them about your goodness and your word of truth in the name of jesus i speak to anything and everything that may be in my life trying to block my progress as a christian anything trying to hinder my growth i pray that whatever it is it's destroyed in the name of jesus just as hebrews 12 1 and 2 says i pray that you would give me the grace to lay aside every weight that hinders my faith give me the grace to throw away everything pulling me away from you whatever it may be whether it is my car my career whatever is pulling me away from you lord i want no part of it i would rather have jesus than silver and gold are the riches of this earth [Music] protect me god not to fall into the sin of unbelief prevent me from faltering whatever is in me that is not of you i pray you remove [Music] that includes all the seeds of doubt and disbelief may you shake off everything that ensnares and hinders me king jesus [Music] because i want to pursue you with a fervency with a pure passion i want to pursue you jesus faithfully with steadfastness and resilience whatever i am tempted with give me strength whatever i find challenging in this life give me the power to overcome [Music] let nothing from the devil ensnare or entangle me in jesus name i will not be fearful because the word of god says in second timothy 1 verse 7 for god has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind [Music] may i continue to grow in knowledge and understanding when it comes to your promises so that i can know you more lord the more i know you the more i am grounded and unshaken the more i know you then that leaves no room for the spirit of fear to overwhelm me may the blood of jesus release me from everything that seeks to choke my faith lord let your holy spirit flourish within me let my life be filled with your presence your glory and your power [Music] fill my life with blessings from heaven god plant seeds of love and peace in my heart and so i confess that greater is he who is in me than the spirit of fear in this world instead of fear i choose to live in faith to walk by faith and i will place my faith in god jehovah elohim the alpha and omega in jesus name i pray amen [Music] [Music] how do you find peace and joy in a world filled with struggle how do you find peace and joy in a world where many people's daily lives can be marred by conflict and turmoil well there is an answer there is a savior called jesus christ a provider of peace peace that surpasses all understanding he is a divine supplier of joy joy unspeakable now what you and i have to do is to choose to believe in him choose to accept him we need to make the choice to allow the peace of god to infiltrate our hearts and minds and we do this by deciding to run to god we have to choose to trust in him no matter what no matter what others say no matter what they don't say the choice is ours [Music] jesus said in the bible peace i leave with you my peace i give to you not as the world gives do i give to you let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid therefore it's up to us to choose whether or not we accept the peace that jesus christ gives us we find peace and joy by choosing to pray in all that we face instead of letting yourself get anxious i encourage you to choose faith over fear choose not to stress but to believe that god is always with us and he is always in control dear friends we can choose to have peace by setting our minds and our thoughts on those things that are true and right on those things that are above and not on this earth a few days rest a vacation time alone or music will not give us lasting peace all of that will not give us peace in the midst of a storm but when we set our minds on jesus and when we set our minds on the word then we'll truly understand that the bible says in isaiah 26 3 you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you don't you desire perfect peace [Music] and the bible says you will keep him it's a state of constant peace meaning during seasons of pain god will keep you in a state of perfect peace during stormy seasons where the clouds are gray and there seems to be no sunshine ahead god will keep you in perfect peace so i encourage you to keep your mind fixed on the one who is the true source of peace jesus christ now let us pray [Music] my dear lord and savior i know that in whatever i face whatever challenge is presented before me not only are you my good shepherd but you are my peace my joy and my refuge in mark chapter 4 verse 39 your word says then he arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea peace be still and the wind ceased and there was a great calm rebuke the storms in my life jesus those storms that come only to discourage me those storms that come only to disturb i ask that you lord in your mighty power arise and rebuke those attacks as you speak the words peace be still i now declare a great calm over my life and my family the wind has ceased the disruption has ceased no more turmoil and unrest because jesus christ has promised me peace he has promised me to be anxious for nothing and so i call on your name lord i come to you with praise on my lips i come to you with an expectant heart i say that you are holy jesus you are majestic deserving of all praise your name is worthy to be reverenced and adored your name alone is higher than every other name so today i do call on the one who is the lord of lords jesus christ the living son of god proverbs 16 7 says when a man's ways please the lord he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him i pray that my ways would please you jesus so that even my enemies even those who oppose me those who don't like me will have no choice but to bow down to your word and be at peace with me because my ways please you i am chasing after you because you offer a peace that is lasting you offer a peace that makes me confident you offer what is real and what is true peace and joy your word lord jesus fills me with deep assurance in the midst of all that i may face your word brings peace to my life because it says the lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace numbers chapter 6 verse 26 i am persuaded that nothing in my past present or future nothing in the kingdom of darkness or here on earth can steal your peace or joy from me when i constantly abide under your shadow remove that which wishes to rise and choke out your peace out of my life remove that which wishes to rise and disrupt the joy you have given me instead i only welcome your presence i only welcome your spirit which brings wise counsel divine comfort and real freedom from bondage i am blessed because i can declare psalm 55 verse 18. he has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me for there were many against me i am blessed because i can declare romans 16 verse 20 which says and the god of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly the grace of our lord jesus christ be with you i come into agreement with your word the word of the lord which gives me strength and confidence indeed i will crush the devil under my feet because of the awesome peace from my lord jesus christ indeed the lord has redeemed my soul in peace from all who stood against me i am of good cheer because nothing is too much for me to bear as i am in christ nothing can make me shake or leave me trembling because my god is a very present help in times of trouble may the holy spirit continue to remind me that i am not alone when i face adversity when the storms of life come along i can run to jesus christ who will offer me shelter and be my deliverer be blessed and glorified in jesus mighty name i pray amen the apostle paul in 1st timothy chapter 1 verse 12 to 17 wrote the following i thank christ jesus our lord who has given me strength that he considers me trustworthy appointing me to his service even though i was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man i was shown mercy because i acted in ignorance and unbelief the grace of our lord was poured out on me abundantly along with the faith and love that are in christ jesus here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance christ jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom i am the worst but for that very reason i was shown mercy so that in me the worst of sinners christ jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life now to the king eternal immortal invisible the only god be honor and glory forever and ever amen i believe that we can all pray and claim this passage of scripture even today in our own personal lives consider the points that paul just covered he is thankful to the lord jesus who he acknowledges as his source of strength and that's something that you and i can acknowledge too god is the source of our strength paul is grateful that the lord considered him trustworthy and appointed him to his service now when it comes to us the fact that we are here today the fact that we are still breathing means that god still has a purpose for our lives we still have a duty to accomplish as servants of the most high who are here on earth and in verse 13 paul begins to reflect on his sinful past he was a blasphemer a persecutor violent he acted in ignorance and unbelief but he was still shown mercy in fact twice in verse 15 and 16 paul refers to himself as the worst of sinners and even as the worst of sinners mercy was still extended to him i believe this is the same for us too regardless of the sins you have committed jesus christ has and is and he will show you mercy if you repent now finally if you pay attention to verse 14 this is what we should really hold on to the grace of our lord was poured out on me abundantly along with the faith and the love that are in christ jesus this is our reason to be joyful this is our reason to be full of hope god has poured out abundantly grace faith and his love on us now let us pray dear lord i thank you for pouring out your amazing grace and your amazing love over my life over my family even though i do not deserve it even though we cannot repay you you have still in your mercy loved me unconditionally i pray that you will hold me in your loving arms today protect my family and my loved ones guide each and every step that i take lead me in all my ways i pray that i would walk by faith and not by sight i pray that i may always walk under your protection in your wisdom and in line with your word there is no guarantee that i will live a life free of trials and tribulation but i thank you that i do have the guarantee that my help comes from the lord and i trust and believe that you will deliver me each and every time that i call on your name i invite you lord to be close to me as i draw closer to you you are the giver of all good things and i thank you because you have given me joy unspeakable you have given me unmerited favor you have given me victory over the devil you give me the strength to overcome each and every challenge that i may face with your grace and favor i can do all things through christ who strengthens me i thank you and i praise you for being an almighty keeper and a wonderful provider i pray that my reality will be your goodness your favor your love and your peace i trade in my sorrow and weakness for strength and joy in you lord take away the voids that are in my life the feelings of emptiness and make me whole may i be satisfied by the treasure that is in your word i pray for peace that passes all understanding and i declare that that peace is mine in the name of jesus christ father i may not see all of the attacks from the devil but i know that you have defended me time and time again and for that i am grateful i am grateful for the fact that i am safe my family is protected i have breath in my body i have strength in my bones because of you i am healthy and i live this life with joy inside me this is evidence that your hand is upon my life evidence of your mercy in my life evidence that you are a god who has stood by me as my strength as my shield as my defender and deliverer give me courage and boldness in my faith god i pray that you would remove every doubt every seed of unbelief or fear i praise you for my family and loved ones i ask that you will continue to bless us in everything that we seek and everything that we do i speak victory over all challenges overall obstacles that i may face today i claim renewed strength as i wait on you lord your word is truth and there is power in your word may the holy spirit constantly urge me and convict me to always study and meditate on your word that is living and powerful i thank you and i praise you for your many promises promises that provide me with a sense of security promises that provide me with hope may you continue to pour out your blessings upon my life in the mighty name of jesus christ i pray amen [Music] we have many things that fight for our attention whether you're at home at work or even at church there is always something that seeks to demand your time to demand your focus and your attention but i encourage you today despite there being so many things demanding our attention we should be mindful of what we are giving our attention to the bible says in matthew 22 37 jesus said love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind when you love something when you love someone when you love them with all your heart soul and mind then that person has your attention that person or that thing takes your time you make room to accommodate that which you love you make adjustments you prioritize and move things around so that you can give time to that which you love in fact if you love something or someone enough you will wake up early you will go to sleep later you will find the energy somewhere and somehow to accommodate a relationship between you you will do near enough anything when the love is so strong that it's with all your heart and with all your soul so as you listen may i ask you the question do you love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all of your mind are you waking up earlier just so you can say good morning lord jesus i place today in your hands are you making room to accommodate the lord in your daily schedule are you making adjustments to your day so that you can read the word of god so that you can pray i encourage you to be obedient to the words of jesus love the lord your god with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind be obedient to the word of god in deuteronomy 11 1 which says therefore you shall love the lord your god and keep his charge his statutes his judgments and his commandments always be obedient to the word of god in joshua chapter 22 verse 5. which says but take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which moses the servant of the lord commanded you to love the lord your god to walk in all his ways to keep his commandments to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul be obedient to the word of god in psalm 31 23 which says o love the lord all you his saints for the lord preserves the faithful and fully repays the proud person so with this understanding let us pray lord jesus you are great and mighty you are holy and worthy thank you for your faithfulness you have been good to me father i pray that you remove everything that is hindering me from my life remove everything that is blocking me from having a closer relationship with you take away those things that are a distraction those things that disengage me from you take away anything that wants or does demand my attention above you open my eyes so that i can see it so that i can discern those areas which are competing with you in my life and i pray that you would give me the strength not just to identify but to remove those things i desire to be more and more like you lord first john chapter 1 verse 6 says if we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness we lie and do not practice the truth i pray that i may always walk in the light that is your word the bible says your word is like a lamp unto my feet i pray that you would help me lord to keep your word on my heart may i be focused and attentive to your word which is sharper than any two-edged sword give me the grace to put you first to put you ahead and above all of my daily tasks my schedule and my responsibilities i will forever place you above all things deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 16 says i command you today to love the lord your god to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments his statutes and his judgment that you may live and multiply and the lord your god will bless you in the land which you go to possess holy spirit will you help me to be obedient to god's word help me to walk in the way that pleases god help me to keep all of his commandments in my life may his statutes be close to my heart give me the strength to live in a manner that is indicative of someone who has been transformed by the love of christ i pray for your help and guidance holy ghost help me to stand up and stand out for christ the bible tells me not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of god transform my mind transform my way of thinking so that i may be focused on my relationship with you lord jesus give me a desire to chase after you [Music] lord i pray for a heart of worship like david so that i can worship you in spirit and in truth i pray that you would give me the strength and the boldness to refuse to bow down to anything and everything that seeks to take your place in my heart anything that seeks to take my attention away from you help me to be bold enough to remove it whether it be a career or a relationship help me not to bow down to any other gods or to any idols i thank you for listening to this prayer lord may you be glorified and honored i uplift your holy name for you alone are worthy to be praised in the mighty and precious name of jesus christ i pray [Music] amen [Music] the bible encourages us to wait on the lord and i believe that sometimes when we do have trouble waiting on god when we have trouble believing that everything is going to work out or when we have a lack of patience this can be because we are not aware of the many blessings that can be found in waiting on the lord psalm 40 verse 1 says i waited patiently for the lord and he inclined to me and heard my cry so the psalmist here is speaking of god leaning towards him once he waited patiently for him when we as believers wait patiently for the lord when we practice to be still and know that he is god though we may wait for a longer period of time than we would want to we do not wait in vain in the fullness of his timing just as the psalmist said he will incline to you meaning that he will lean towards you when you have given him his jew reverence and shown him that you have a willing heart waiting on god means that you are in total surrender and faith that there is no hope in anything else but in the lord and for those who place their expectations in the lord for those who wait in faith and wait with patience god is faithful enough to hear their cry the bible confirms this in 1 john chapter 5 verse 14 and 15. now this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him so confidence in god faith in god will lead him to hear you if you ask according to his will and if you don't know what to ask according to his will then all you need to do is to look through the bible for his promises we can ask for healing because isaiah 53 verse 5 tells us that he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement for our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed we can ask for strength because part b of nehemiah chapter 8 verse 10 tells us do not sorrow for the joy of the lord is your strength we can ask to be blessed and elevated by god because psalm 90 verse 17 says may the favor of the lord our god rest on us establish the work of our hands for us yes establish the work of our hands so i encourage you today to wait on the lord put your confidence in him put your hope and trust in him because it's only in us waiting for his timing that we can experience his many blessings now let us pray lord jesus i come before you today asking for patience within my heart give me the patience lord to wait on you the patience to look unto you i pray that psalm 40 verse 1 may become a reality to me so that when i wait patiently on you you will incline your ears to hear my cry i pray that you would set my feet upon a rock and establish my ways lord i believe that when i wait on you lord i will find answers to all of my troubles i will meet the one who will and can rescue me in the time of distress [Music] psalm 40 verse 2 says that he also brought me out of a horrible pit out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock and established my steps indeed lord there are many blessings in me waiting on you you will bring me out of a state of calamity so that i might be saved from trouble i praise you because it's only you who could have taken me from a pit of darkness and sin it's only you who could have taken me from a low place and saved me the bible says that you have set my feet upon a rock and this signifies a place of strength and safety thank you for placing my feet on rock-solid ground on safe ground thank you for your promise to establish my steps i pray that my heart may be one that practices patience may i have a heart that is willing to completely surrender and yield to whatever your will is and to whatever your timing is father i invite you to work within me change my life for the better lord move me from guilt to justification take me from sinfulness to pursuing a righteous and christ-like way of life your word in psalm 40 verse 3 says that he has put a new song in my mouth praise to our god many will see it and fear and will trust in the lord blessed is the man who makes the lord his trust and does not respect the proud nor such as turn aside to lies many o lord my god are your wonderful works which you have done and your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to you in order if i would declare and speak of them they are more than can be numbered i pray that just as the psalmist said you would place a new song in my mouth a song that praises you a song that realizes just how loving just how merciful and just how caring you are lord i thank you for your many wonderful works and i am glad that your word tells us that you have many thoughts towards us thoughts of good and not of evil thoughts for us as your children to have a hope and a future may you be praised and glorified teach me to wait on you lord teach
