All Scopes Ranked Worst to Best in Cyberpunk 2077

cyberpunk 2077 has a grand total of 15 scopes  all of which can be attached to various guns to   completely change up the aiming experience in  combat I realized when creating this video in   fact just how unexplored this little corner of  the game actually is with not a single resource   online providing a full list of where to find  each of the Scopes at epic tier let alone how   they actually compare in combat well I'm proud  to say that I have located all 15 of cyberpunks   scopes at their highest tier the locations for  which I'll be sharing as we go through each of   them in this video I'll also as usual be testing  them out in combat before weighing up their pros   and cons in order to decide which is best if  you've been enjoying my cyberpunk content lately   then don't forget to leave a like on the video  and sub to the channel for more stuff like this   thanks now let's go and scope these things  out shall we yeah sorry I couldn't resist   down at the bottom we have the scope Add-vantage  just like the guillotine Carnage and of course   the slaught-o-matic the add-vantage scope is a product  manufactured by budget arms it Sports an ammo   counter and features a slight change in color tint  when we're aiming at an enemy you might not even   be able to see this but the yellow does change  ever so slightly when hovering over a Target not   really that useful in the heat of combat though  in fact when using this in brighter scenarios   like outside distinguishing the scope from the  environment can often be an issue sure it looks   fairly clean and is better than nothing and it  still offers 5 meters of boosted range and 0.14   seconds of reduced time to aim down the sights  but there's certainly better ones out there   that also do this if you're a purveyor of budget  arms products though then I found some of these   at various weapon vendors including the Sunset  Motel Arroyo Marty gentler at the fuel station   and the nomad camp TL;DR better than nothing  but pretty budget hard to see and short range   the os1 gimleteye is another short range pretty  common holographic scope and I found the Epic tier   variant at both Robert Wilson's store and the  Kabuki market for 600 Eddies again and this   is the same with all the short range Scopes the  Epic tier increases your gun's range by about 5   meters and reduces ads Time by 0.15 of a second  interestingly this one was manufactured by Kiroshi   Optics the same company who make our eye mods  and they've implemented into this scope a rather   useful piece of technology this bar at the bottom  of the scope will light up red when targeting an   enemy and I actually found this pretty useful for  knowing when to shoot particularly in situations   where it was harder to see if the bar is red you  should probably hit and if not you'll miss only   thing it doesn't do is turn red when we have a  Ricochet shot lined up obviously there's also   an ammo counter in the bottom corner though the  one on our HUD is much easier to read still if   you're a hardcore player who's role-playing and  no Kiroshi eyes build you could try turning HUD   elements off and just using the scope then again  though this one is definitely on the smaller   side wide and it's pretty difficult to distinguish  these details especially when Outdoors it improved   a little when I went inside the compound here  and was actually quite useful but still not the   easiest to read bear in mind I play Sitting about  two or three feet away from a 27 inch 4k monitor   so I can only imagine that this problem is worse  for anyone playing a few meters away in their   lounge or something as one of the more common  to find though I wouldn't necessarily pass it up   if you have nothing else and want to scope but I'd  likely replace it later TL;DR small scope is kind   of hard to see now this next one makes me think  of the sniper rifle from Halo if it were in fact   a scaled down version which fired from mid-range  Jue just like most of the other mid-ranges offers   a zoom rate of 0.9 10 meters of boosted range  and a reduced ads time of 0.2 of a second now   I should tell you these mid-range Scopes aren't  available for pistols shotguns or SMGs but they're   often the best way to go when using assault rifles  Precision rifles or lmgs I bought my epic versions   for this one off of Robert Wilson for about 1500  each though I'm not sure it was the best use of   money what I do like about this scope is the  highlighted blue tint that we get when looking   at the environment but this tiny little Central  dot with nothing around it can be a right pain   to distinguish in a number of environments I mean  sure it's easy enough to infer where the center   of this scope is and more often than not still be  accurate but there's nothing specifically drawing   my attention to a particular Point like there is  with some of the other mid-range Scopes it still   functions perfectly fine and hell if you can cope  with the tiny dots then it might give you some   nice Halo Vibes but personally not the mid-range  scope for me TL;DR has anyone seen my reticle   Bridging the Gap between short and long-range  Scopes the mark 2x grandstand sits in something   of a limbo as to what it actually is manufactured  by militech and sporting a zoom level of 0.5 an   epic grandstand can boost your gun's range by  again up to 10 whole meters whilst at the same   time providing little more zoom than some of  the short range Scopes I also find in general   however that yellow tinted sights aren't  quite as easy to distinguish than some of   the red tinted counterparts that said the inner  box light which lights up when the target is   highlighted was pretty helpful not gonna lie  it worked best on assault rifles in my opinion   improving their accuracy at Short to mid-range  I did though also have a glitch with this one   where some of them came up equippable on snipers  but in doing this it didn't attach the scope it   just removed both the scope and the scope slot  entirely huge huge mistake to make particularly   on uniques like Breakthrough with the only way to  fix it being to reload a previous save otherwise   your sniper is essentially scopeless and you can  know longer attach a scope to it if you see one   of these come up in the sniper menu do not equip  it because it should not be there anyway despite   feeling like a short range scope sometimes it is  mid-range and thus a bit more spenny I picked up   some epic versions of this at 1200 each from each  of the three vendors in the Heywood sub districts   TL;DR short to mid-scope hybrid is mid-tier scope  another wider box scope next the type 2067 offers   a reasonable targeting area but limits itself in  overly dark and overly light environments and the   reticle's targeting zone is also a little small  for my liking I find this one is better suited   in fact to guns like Precision rifles despite  being a short range scope problem there is   actual mid-range Scopes are still going to beat  this one on that front so it sits in this weird   zone of suiting a playstyle that there are better  items for the gray background can also get lost   against darker backdrops which can lessen your aim  in certain settings what's more I was only able to   find an epic tier for this one in one store that  being the one in corpo Plaza by the Halsey and MLK   fast travel point it's a nice classic looking  scope that's reasonably easy to read most of   the time but there are better ones out there TL;DR  nice simple scope with just a few too many caveats   one question I wanted to answer when making this  video was whether we could find epic tier versions   for all 15 of the Scopes so I did what anyone  would do I shopped around and spam refreshed every   single gun Merchant in night City over a few hours  about a third of the time spent doing this though   was simply to find this one scope the internet  gave no definitive Solutions and I came so so   close to giving up here but on my last spin at  the Japantown weapon vendor before packing it in   there it finally was for 1500 Eddies SO-21 Saika  is arasaka's mid-range scope and I now mostly hate   it but I also love it a little bit it has a useful  Zoom of 0.9 and a really cool looking targeting   Square that's a complete floating hologram no  glass just pure projection though in this instance   I'm gonna call it style over substance it may look  cool as hell but this borderless rectangle is much   harder to distinguish in combat compared to its  more ancient counterparts okay fine there's some   red tin at the edges to highlight the Box's  corners but precious little to help enhance   our view of the environment within so whilst I  love it because actually finding one was such   a relief and it looks snazzy as hell to be fair  I likely won't be using it on any of my guns as   it's just not the most helpful in combat for me  plus I've only got one Epic version for one gun   and whilst I know they spawn at this vendor now  I've had quite enough vendor spamming for one   day hopefully you find it too though if you're  trying to collect them all TL;DR super duper rare   and not really worth finding Now give me a mid  to long range scope without giving me an actual   sniper scope yep that'll do the trick the e255  precipient comes with a zoom rate of 1.1 along   with the classic 10 meter range and 0.2 second  reduction in ads which mid-range Scopes have it   can be bought from a bunch of vendors around  night City including the nomads Sunset Motel   Rancho Coronado and Arroyo at 1350 Eddies each  now the interface on this one adds some lift to   Environmental Lighting and makes it easier to see  so whilst it works perfectly well during the day   I found it was even more effective when used at  night do bear in mind though trying to use this   thing at any kind of short range will be more of  a hindrance than a help and there's definitely   a reason that these Scopes are collapsed into  different ranges best way I found to use this   was similarly to a sniper finding a high vantage  point and just picking targets off it worked   pretty well aside from very far away enemies but  then I kind of realized I'm probably just better   off using a powerful one-shotting sniper in this  scenario and they don't know me that this scope   zooms just a little too much when you're down on  the ground wandering around corridors and such   since much of cyberpunk's combat involves more  of this Close Quarters combat inside buildings   that kind of limits the scenarios wherein  this scope is actually useful and effective   not exactly the scope's faults just how it gels  with the design of the game and hey it's still   plenty useful if you pick your scenarios right  TL;DR good scope but in mostly the wrong setting   now normally arasaka products tend to be top  of the line and best in class but with the   Kanetsugu scope I'm not sure that sentiment  applies sure it's a very clean looking round   circle and the red tint allows our eyes to  distinguish it easily but personally I found   the tiny red arrow itself a little tough to  see what I find this scope is best for is   very close range gunfights particularly with  pistols the small scope Works in tandem with   the short distance allowing anything inside the  circle to be a guaranteed hit at close range but   with the circle being so small weapon recoil  makes the process of staying on target harder   than the likes of something bigger such as the  handyman which we'll get to later also in lighter   environments the edgelessness of this one can  make it become harder to distinguish from the   background it's also buyable from Robert  Wilson and I acquired a few from him over   about five minutes of grinding TL;DR great little  pistol scope but not that great with other guns   one of the more down to earth holographic Scopes  in the game is the hayakume or hayakume perhaps   it's another of the short range scopes with an  ammo counter at the bottom and a decently sized   targeting Zone not the most exciting scope in the  world I grant you and not exactly drilling that   futuristic cyberpunk Vibe but it's easy to look  at and gets the job done well though finding an   epic tier for this one was not the easiest task  and I had to try refreshing a bunch of different   Merchants a bunch of different times finally  though on visits to both Japantown and West   Wing estate I was eventually able to find some and  for 675 Eddies no less TL;DR simple yet effective   the most bog standard scope for sniping in my  opinion the e305 prospector is plainly and simply   a round scope with a dot in the middle there's  also a scroller on the left which tells us the   angle at which we're shooting but I can't think  of any practical purpose this would fulfill when   we're simply going to point and click or press a  trigger and another trigger each of the snipers   zoom in by three and considering the game's  render distance for enemies this is probably   as far as they need to go I can hit everything  I can see here and anyone further away simply   spawns out of my vision getting an epic tier  for Sniper Scopes will set you back a bit more   though coming in at 3700 Eddies at either the  Glen Vista Del Rey or the Kabuki Market worth   buying then well that depends I think the three  sniper Scopes are functionally pretty similar   and it mostly comes down to visual preference  this one isn't my favorite but it may be yours   and that's fair enough I think the blue tint  on this one is certainly a good feature when   it comes to distinguishing the environment  TL;DR basic run-of-the-mill sniper scope   then we come to the kanone max which also feels  like a pretty classic sniper scope albeit with   a green night vision tint it's particularly  effective when going on Late Night stealthy   sniper runs but works just fine during the  day as well there's elevation level numbers   down the side of this one too though they're a  little blurry to read again not really needed   anyway since even with non-tech snipers bullet  drop isn't really a thing no doubt this scope   was designed for stealth snipers though as it's  what comes default on the silenced OverWatch   so we can still Chuck an epic tier scope on  here kind of over the top and I'm assuming   that that's still going to be better they're  pretty common across the world since I found   them at places like The Nomad vendor Sunset  Motel corpo Plaza and Japantown it's even   cheaper than the other two sniper scopes at only  three grand TL;DR go-to scope for stealth snipers   now I don't know about you but this next one  gave me major Nostalgia for the older modern   warfare games and I'm not even certain how  similar whatever scope I'm thinking of was   to this one the mark 72 kanone mini is a classic  small box type holographic and I felt it improved   my accuracy and range by a great deal sure it  doesn't do anything particularly special and   is similar in design to the hayakume but it's the  inclusion of all the red in the holographic that   makes distinguishing targets so much easier for  me after all a scope isn't just about zooming   in a bit and increasing range it's also very  important in helping the user to distinguish   environmental features with some of these previous  entries in brighter scenarios especially I may as   well have been using these Scopes having activated  Optical camo because there too it's impossible to   see precisely where you're aiming I've only found  this one at one weapon store at epic tier however   and that was over here in the Glen at 750 Eddies  TL;DR sticks to the basics and does them very well   my favorite of the three sniper Scopes  gaki looks something like a mini computer   strapped to the top of your sniper the blue  tint helps us to distinguish the environment   better whilst the reticle helps draw our  attention to the dot in the middle it's   also got a pretty funny description saying  quote the only thing that could bring you   closer to your target is a romantic dinner to  be honest if it's a choice between shooting   Adam Smasher and sitting across a table  from him whilst he says this to his food You look like a cut of [____]able meat are you? I'd probably choose the former then again  maybe he eats metal like The Iron Giant and that   might be interesting to watch anyway there's a  very useful ammo counter on the top right here   telling us in big numbers how many shots we  have left again this can be seen on the HUD   in the bottom corner but it's a split second  faster to read it here plus it's immersive   again though sniper Scopes especially all pretty  much function the same and I don't blame you for   preferring another one to find this one though  Robert Wilson once again was where I had success   TL;DR better than a candlelit dinner with Adam  Sandler wait no hold on hold on I got the wrong ada-  my very most favorite scope for short range next  handyman is apparently named after whoever created   it that being some unnamed night City techie  handyman if we look closely we can see the   Rough Around the Edges aspects with the circuitry  and glass panel both exposed despite this though   I find it works absolutely brilliantly at short  and closer mid-ranges the red tinted targeting   Square does a great job at distinguishing  the foreground from the background though   I will say the reticle within can occasionally  be difficult to make out with a zoom level of   0.4 though that doesn't matter as much as we can  get a more magnified aim which encompasses more   of our target basically at closer ranges if  you line someone up within the box you'll most   likely hit them for that same reason though  I wouldn't try using this on further Range   Guns like Precision rifles as when trying to  distinguish further away smaller targets within   the sight itself the red tint actually works  against you and makes everything a little bit   hazy I bought this one from Robert Wilson at  the Second Amendment store for 675 Eddies at   epic tier TL;DR really great at short range which  is exactly what it's designed for finally then   at number one this decision May partly have been  influenced by what I'm used to to be honest but   regardless this just is an excellent scope the  Mk.8 clearview is a design of militech's and   comes with a genuinely useful ammo counter rather  than placing your ammo number within a hard to   distinguish holographic this one opts for a more  analog looking side counter I mean sure I could   just again read the bottom corner of the screen  but In the Heat of battle having one right next to   where I'm targeting which is readable at a glance  allows me to keep a closer eye on when to reload   what's more the zoom level of 0.9 is particularly  helpful at mid-range without crossing the line of   zooming in too much if you also like the look of  this one I bought it from Robert Wilson for 1500   Eddies at Epic tier TL;DR no-nonsense mid-range  scope which is user friendly and reliable and   sits at the top of my ranking of Scopes anyway  I hope this video was helpful in showing and   explaining all the Scopes in the game and most  importantly where to find them again bear in   mind that some of these vendors might might take  up to even 20 days of refreshing before yielding   some epic Scopes but they are definitely in  their Cycles because I found them all so let   me know your favorite scope in cyberpunk 2077 and  why are they something you just pick up off the   street and use whichever you get or are they  an integral and well thought out part of your   weapon loadouts thank you so much for watching I'm  Sam Bram and I'll see you soon in another video
