so excited to be opening this building officially with a ribbon cutting we've got jacqueline r and mike todd on tuesday night bishop jakes we got bishop jake on thursday with dr judith mcallister yes and on wednesday bishop ivy hilliard and donald lawrence donna lawrence is one of my favorites so i'm so excited about that i mean these three days are about to be phenomenal i mean i'm my tear ducts are gonna be empty like i might have to go to see the eye doctor i'm gonna try to beat my face one of these days but i'm expecting to leave with an eyelash on my forehead like these ships gonna be a mess it's gonna be crazy it's okay we plan to have a good time um so yeah make sure you meet us here in september 28th 29th and the 30th every night at 7 pm also we are still having children's in teen church um but we have a shuttle for them now so starting october in october a shuttle service from the temple to the children's center will be available so we're making it more convenient to get your teens and your children in church yeah and you can download the church center app if you're a parent if you've checked in your child before you can check your child in really early and be able to do that process really smoothly from beginning to end right across the street um from this building at the temple yeah and we are so excited also because we're inviting our um leaders and admins and said there's too many people i don't want to be that close and you can take the elevator and go upstairs him upstairs and you're free to sit where you need to sit as long as you need those that you need to be in the building so we've done this series on the temple and we literally knew that this building was going to be quote unquote our temple we started out at the charles hayes center which was a party room we moved from there to king high school we moved from there to around the corner to the tabernacle which we knew that it was not big enough but we knew that it was temporary we stayed we put a million dollars into that building and only stayed there for nine months and then we moved to the uic forum which was another tabernacle because we were setting up breaking down setting up breaking down setting up breaking down and sometimes we it would be tough coming in there because they had god only knows what they had done the night before so it would be like heavy sometimes coming up in there and then we stayed there until we just started moving all over the place i'm waiting on god to do this and if i were to be honest with you and i want you to hear me clearly i knew that we were in what's called the grand crossing community and when we came to this community we had a little um some of the neighbors got upset and they called the community meeting had me to meet them at the alderman's office because they were upset about parking so we went down and went to the ultimate meeting and the alderman said to them you're giving this church a hard time when this community is known as the dead zone because no businesses are trying to come here nobody's rushing to move here but this ministry is doing everything that they can to meet the needs of our community in a dead zone but christ said i come that you might have life so when new life comes it's supposed to bring life listen so i was traveling and i want you to hear my heart and i grew up on the west side of chicago i'm a product of chicago's housing authority then when my mother moved from my grandmother we moved to the austin community on 48th north parkside and we lived there and i went to d priests i went to michelle clark high school i shopped on madison and pulaski that was my downtown and the only to only time i would see nice is i had to leave chicago and those on the west side know we would go across the street in on austin and drive through oak park you know and they left they they had no curtains up you could just see straight through the house we didn't live like that if you don't close my curtains looking all up in my house and so when we wanted to see something nice we had to leave our community so then as i become an adult and then i want i went to see churches i began to travel and i never forget i went to arizona to phoenix first with tommy burnett and i did this conference and it was an auditorium that's very similar to this they had cat walks they would um somebody would be singing and an angel would just come flying down sometimes they just lift somebody up and they go flying across the room and i was like and i remember me saying to god you cannot tell me that you are prejudiced you cannot tell me that other races are the only ones that can have something that is first class are no respect of persons and if anybody need to see you in an excellent way it needs to be seen in our community among our people come on here i need you to nudge your neighbor say the glory is coming and i challenged god i literally challenged god and the lord said to me i'm not but can i trust you can i trust you that if i do it for you you won't take the credit but you'll make sure that i get all the glory can i trust you with millions of dollars and you don't think that you're all of that can i trust you with a budget of millions and you'd be a good steward of the money that i've assigned under your ministry and i said yes lord i said yes lord so the building that you're sitting in this is an answered prayer over a hundred thousand square feet ladies i made sure you had enough bathrooms that you shouldn't have to stand in line you should just give me an offer for the bathrooms we have a crying room upstairs that if your baby is crying you can go upstairs and sit in the room and rock your baby and still watch the service we have a prayer room upstairs for just intimately set aside executive suites children's church across the street we put five million dollars in that building you walked up to date you see the lawn being done it's gonna look like jurassic park when we get done up in here and all that as good it's beautiful it's a beautiful building like solomon built got a beautiful building it took him seven years to build it pessary and it took us seven years to build this people asked me why did it take so long god had it on delay and bishop iv here you told me every delay is gonna be to your benefit some of y'all need to catch the oil on the house some of y'all got some things that's on delay i need you to prophesy to yourself and tell yourself every delay is gonna be to my benefit every delay is gonna be to my benefit every delay is gonna work out for my good every the devil ain't running nothing god is sovereign and the earth is the lord's and the fullness there so you build all of this simon built all of that david had brought the ark of the covenant which represents the glory of god the presence of god into the city of david but he but he he he he was not allowed to build the temple but he passed it on the solomon and solomon built all of this and said but where's the glory but where's the glory so solomon arranged because you have to prepare his glory you have to hear me you just don't expect him to show up you are a part of the setup i need you to make sure you sit next to another builder another person that want god more than you want man messiah those of you all that know that chicago need a place where people can come and be delivered and be healed where families can be made whole come on we need this to be a safe space if you know that i'm talking to you i need you to make sure you're around another person that want god it doesn't matter about man i need god like a fish need water please check your environment make sure you're sitting next to another glory seeker please y'all do me a favor look to your lip and you're right and just tell them the glory is coming the glory is coming am i shy say well what is the glory what is the glory the glory the glory is like the validation the glory like seals it if you have the glory the bible says watch me when david went to go get the ark of the covenant he you know didn't do it right and he ended up in the house of overdem the bible say and the lord blessed him and his entire household the listener and the lord bless what is it what you should just draw that line and there's so much to go up on the blast because whatever you need it's going to be in the glory some of y'all don't need a house you just need peace glory some of y'all need peace some of y'all need joy some of y'all need to heal some of y'all need mind regulated something i need your family to say something i'll need your marriage all that that's gonna be up under the glory it won't happen watch me you can come in here and you can sit here and i could speak but without glory it's only a motivational speech but if glory is in the building come on here when i speak fire come out of my mouth when i speak chains are broken when i speak. and you need glory you need glory to be married in this day and time you need glory to be single in this day and time you need glory to do whatever you do you need glory to do business you need glory to cut a deal you need glory to talk to people you need glory to deal with demonic spirits you need glory to fight back darkness you need glory to wake up with you in the morning you need glory to go with you to go to bed with you at night you need glory as you walk through the community you need glory to be in your car to make sure that a bullet don't come through your automobile you need glory to be on your children that no predator would ever touch your children you need glory in every area of your life mercy on check around you touch your neighbor you better warn them say glory coming glory is coming so this is what i believe if glory comes when glory comes it's my belief that somebody could be driving by and the glory arrests them and say get in that building i believe that somebody could just open the door and step out in the parking lot and the glory arrests them i believe that as they walking towards the building god just start dealing with them watch me nobody has to lay hands on them of the glory see some people want the attention saying i laid hands on you but if you want the glory nobody has to lay hands on you all you have to do is just walk in the building and somebody can be filled with the holy ghost somebody can be healed somebody can be delivered somebody can be set free everybody open your mouth and say come on come on come on glory come on you ready for everyone on the side of my voice and those of you that are watching online you even need the glory to come through the airways but it has to have a a launching path i'm a firm believer that people could come in with an attitude but when you hit the building glory break that down i'm a firm believer that some of y'all gonna bring your unsaved family members in the building just sit around saying get them god businesses will be revealed in here dreams will become your reality he's about to do something amazing in you he's about to put favor on your name but you can't get favor on your name until you come up under the glory you're looking for man to hook you up god said get under my glory and i'll release your name and do supernatural things with you that you never thought that you would be able to do
