Hey guys! it's Selena So I'm in Akihabara right now and I'm going to show you some of my favorite places to buy anime merch and figures So when you guys get to Akihabara make sure to take the electric town gate exit After you exit the gate, you'll see a building called Atre 1 Atre is directly connected to the station And they usually have different anime collaborations every two weeks This time they are doing
Jojo's Stone Ocean On the second floor,there's a pop up shop where you can buy Atre limited merch For this event, they are giving out one random card for every ¥2,000 you spend on Jojo related items in the pop up store. Atre has a lot of different anime and game collaborations They've done Kono Suba, Yu-Gi-Oh, Heaven Burns Red and Shikimori, in the past to name a few I always see a lot of people
taking pictures outside the building, but I highly recommend going inside
because there's a pop up shop and most of the time they give out cards of the anime for every ¥500 spent in participating shops inside Atre For example, you can eat sushi, get some udon buy clothings from Uniqlo or other clothing stores, buy some Japanese manga and magazines buy cool souvenirs, get snacks and drinks and even eye drops and buying these beautiful cakes to get cards for the specific collaborations they're having at the time These are some cards I got during the Shikimori event and sometimes they have things other than cards Like for Yu-Gi-Oh, I got some clear files But for JoJo this time, they only pass out cards at the pop up shop instead of the other stores So make sure to check it out So let's go to Ami Ami which is inside Radio Kaikan Ami Ami is on the fourth floor of Radio Kaikan They have a huge section of anime figures and merch They also have display cases of preorders, new releases and recommended figures from many different makers I love looking at this section because all the figures look so nice and the selection changes regularly I see some figures that I really want to pick up Many items in Ami Ami are marked down from 5 to 15%, even if they are new Some figures have Ami Ami limited bonuses for retail or a little more Some bonuses are really nice, like this acrylic stand There's is a wide variety of anime merchandise and a corner for each anime title There's also a Ghibli and San-x corner One of my favorite section is the Re-ment area The blind boxes are so much fun
and so cute. Wow, this is so interesting There's a smartphone stand, pen stand accessory stand Ok! I'm gonna get this Most Re-ments in Ami Ami are a little cheaper than retail, so I recommend picking them up here. Sometimes they pass out collaboration postcards for purchases over ¥1,100 So make sure to look around the register
to see if they have any promotions Also, don't forget your passport
because some stores in Japan are tax free, usually for purchases over ¥5,500 and up. So I got a Re-ment and figure Can't wait to open it later There is a smaller Ami Ami store where they sell pre-owned figures So if you didn't find the figure you're looking for, maybe you might find it there Akiba No X is also one of my favorite stores inside Radio Kaikan and it's on the fifth floor. There's a couple more locations
throughout Akihabara I got a really beautiful figure at X Can't wait to open it And on the sixth floor, there's a store called Yellow Submarine. They have a small selection of newly released scale figures, Nendroids, and other figures at a very good price They also have a large selection of trading cards You may also find gacha singles here if you're looking for a specific character Yellow Submarine is my go to store to find new crane prizes because they have a pretty good deal and sometimes have incredible prices Oh my gosh, there's Suika this is so cute Oh wait, does it come with this face? Oh, my gosh I need to get this So I bought a lot of stuff at Radio Kaikan I hit 3 of my favorite stores They also have other stores that sell
figures, merch, cards, and even dolls You can basically spend, like,
half a day there. But I'm going to head to another place that I really like Every Sunday, there is pedestrian paradise in Akihabara And they blocked the road so cars can't enter from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. in the summer You can cross the streets without waiting for lights and walk around freely to take pictures So here's Mulan and this store is not the main street, so there's a chance you might miss it They have new figures to pre-owned figures to ichiban kuji's And sometimes on weekends they really crazy sales So let's check out what they have today On the day I went, they had a kami sale where you can get points times five as well as a discount on figures that have a yellow price sticker that are ¥1,000 and up I decided to see if there's anything I want to pick up during this kami sale They have some expensive figures
in the glass case. They had some lucky backs too There's a smaller Mulan store at the Main street too Okay, guys,
before I head to the next store I want to show you Coco's in Akihabara because it's very different Here's Coco's They are doing a Prince of Tennis collaboration They do a lot of anime collaborations,
and they were doing Prince of Tennis collaboration this time The menu is very different
from the ones in the States They have karaage fried chicken, Japanese
style soup pastas and hamburger steaks During the collaboration, they have anime themed food and when you order it, you get a clear file I ordered Ryoma's Japanese style hamburger set and that it was really delicious This is the clear file that came with the set I got Fuji Shuusuke, my favorite character My cute waiter is here hello Oh my gosh Thank you So cute The drink and soup bar is amazing. They have two types of soups For drinks they have juice, soda, a tea bar
with 12 types of tea and a drink machine that serves hot and cold drinks
like cocoa, milk and espresso. The drink bar is all you can drink,
so it's a nice place to rest and relax I got some tea to go along with my pudding They also collaborated with different types of anime, so make sure to check it out So here's Akiba Culture Zone This is where they have one of my favorite stories Lashinbang And they even have a maid cafe and a concert
hall Lashinbang has a huge selection of prize and merch on the first floor and on the second floor they have scale figures and doujins The store is so big they even have a map
showing you where everything is at They have expensive figures in these glass cases These are some of the Dragon Ball ichiban kuji's pretty pricey now Wow the price went up to ¥90,000. oh my goodness I really wanted to get this Asuna figure but it's gone up so much Should've gotten it You also have a sales corner at the back of the store, so make sure to check that out You might find something you like So here's the other location for Akiba no X And it's directly across the street from Culture Zone. So Akiba X has a lot of scale figures I really like this store
because sometimes the store has some really unexpected places
for some new releases and they have three stores in Akihabara It's very interesting because you might have a chance to get a figure for Cheaper than Ami Ami
and other stores around Akihabara but only for a certain amount of time. One time I saw a certain figure for a cheap price and came back the next day and it was back to retail. But older and rare figures can be double
or triple the retail price. This Final Fantasy VII figure is new and
is actually a really, really good deal. So Akiba No X has some crazy deals
sometimes and this figure was one of them. So here's Mandarake And this place sells a lot of older anime figures, Pokémon cards,
Yu-Gi-Oh, games and doujinshi's So I'm inside Mandarake There are a lot of glass cases here. Rows and rows of glass cases. And this is just one floor It's really cute Steiff Hatsune Miku They have this Matoi Ryuko It is so expensive now The more affordable figures are not in glass cases Oh, that's my Nagito Pop-Up Parades and some crane catchers Mandarake is full of treasures You can find some really old and rare
games, CDs, DVD's, Blu-Ray's, mangas
and art books Yu-Gi-Oh cards All single cards some boxes some sets This floor is one my favorite I usually come here to get some Cardcaptor Sakura stuff I usually come here to look for some old Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon They also have all these other Mahou Shoujo's Here is the Precure section Let me find anything I'm missing here Oh, I don't have this I think I should get it Yay! I don't have this So here is Gachapon Kaikan and this place
is a little bit far from the station and also in the smaller streets,
but they have new gachas and old gachas And sometimes they have a complete set
in the back Inside the glass cases, you can find some complete sets of gachas
at a reasonable price From my experience, cheaper
than the stores closer to the station Don Quijote is a pretty famous store
that sells a lot of random stuff I personally like the one in Akihabara the most
because there are more anime related stuff there The snacks and drinks are lot cheaper than convenience stores so if you want to save some money
to buy some more anime stuff, I recommend buying some food, snacks
and drinks here So much gummies and candies What should I get? I really like this Fettuccine gummy sounds weird, but it's delicious And these jelly bean gummies Oh my God, these are so good They have a lot of wafers
with anime cards I'm going to get these They have a pretty large ichiban kuji section They have a lot of plushies accessories They have a whole entire floor
dedicated to cosplays It's pretty crazy I love this area It's full of anime and video game
collaborations from clothes, roomwears, and merch Lots of cute Pokémon and Sanrio onesies On the top floor they even have an arcade All right, guys So those are
some of my favorite stores in Akihabara But there are so many more cool stores
and you can explore Akihabara for days. But anyways, here are the figures and merch I bought Let's start unboxing Alright So first off, let's start off with this
figure from Yellow Submarine So here is a figure of Suika from Dr. Stone And this figure is so cute It's a crane figure from Banpresto And I'm just really curious to know if all these faces come in this one box Because there is regular Suika and there's Suika with a watermelon on her head And then there's this other Suika Sometimes she makes this really funny face, when she can't see So I needed to get this And if all the faces are in there, that is so cool. All right, so let's check it out Can't wait It's there! Oh, my gosh. Let me open it All right, so, here's Suika and this is default face I guess Super cute This is her being really cute. And here is her watermelon head. Take off her hair Like that Suika and her watermelon head All right Here's Suika And her funny face So she comes with two faces,
a watermelon head and her hair That's all detachable. So there's, like,
four different combinations you can make And I'm just going to go with this one
for now because it's just so funny and cute at the same time I can't believe they did this This is awesome And, you know, like, these cranes
look so good Like, it's so playful And the quality,
even the paint looks so amazing. So, yeah, I don't know. I just think that recently, the cranes just look so good. You should definitely check some out There are some weird ones,
but a lot of the ones that I've gotten recently were pretty good And this one is one of them, too. The next figure I'm going to open is from Akiba No X And it's a Figuarts Zero figure And oh my gosh As I said earlier in the video, sometimes Akiba No X just has ridiculous prices And this figure was one of them This is Asagiri Gen from Dr. Stone So yeah Suika from Dr. Stone and Gen from Dr. Stone This figure was like 50% off It was 3480 yen And so it was one of those "Oh, my gosh. I have to get it right now or else it's gonna be gone or it's gonna go up again So, I decided to get it This is one of those X prices. Oh, and you don't have to build it too Woww I love these figures so much. It looks so good I love the details That's Senku's phone And the microphone. You know what he needs? He needs coke That's so Gen if he has coke But wow, these figures just look so good I love I love how much thought they put
into these Figuarts It's crazy And I don't have to build it. Wow but yeah. I love Gen so much I'm so sad I missed Senku Oh, I got to find him somewhere So I think I got a really good deal for Gen And in one of my older videos, I got a figure for Kino's journey. I got a figure of Kino from Kotobukiya at X and it was also an insane price And the next time I went back, it was double the price of what I got it for So sometimes X has crazy prices and when they have crazy prices,
I just call it like the X price But yeah So if you guys have a chance to visit X,
make sure to visit it because you might find something you like So next, let's open figures from Mulan From my experience, when Mulan has a sale,
they usually have it on the weekends. So if you only one day to visit Akihabara maybe you should try hitting it on the weekend Alright so, I got this figure Asuka figure And this is from the last movie because you can tell,
her clothes are all ripped up But honestly it looks kind of nice. So, yeah, it's a crane figure And this is from Sega? Yeah, it's from Sega So let's check it out Asuka on the beach This is a really weird shaped box Alright So this Asuka figure looks beautiful She looks just as good as the box So I'm super happy There's also a Rei version So I want to try finding that, too. And honestly,
the Mulan on sale was just so good. If you buy two figures for over 1,100 yen
you get 250 yen off on each figure I think if you buy like eight figures,
you get 500 yen off each figure So that's pretty crazy But this time I only had two figures I wanted to get So I got two So the second figure I got is Jolyne from JoJo Stone Ocean And this is a Grandista figure and apparently Grandista means it's super big over 30 cm So let's check this out So here's Jolyne. She is humongous And everything about this
figure looks amazing Her tattoos look good She even has the star on her back Her hair looks so cool And I really like how they added her stand Stone free Or maybe I should say Stone Ocean Yeah, it's really cool. And I super excited for the ichiban kuji coming out in December She's the A prize And I think the last one prize is Jolyne with Jotaro So I'm super excited for that kuji Yeah, these two figures look amazing So now that I opened Jolyne
I want to talk about the JoJo Stone Ocean collaboration they had at Atre Every 2000 yen you spend, you get a random card I got Narcisco I also got a pouch because I've been wanting a new pouch
and the Stone Ocean pouch is really cute I also got a random Can bage
and there's eight different characters And I want either Jolyne or Jotaro so let's see who I get Oh, I got Hermes Yeah, she's a really, really cool character And honestly, all the characters are super cool All right,
so I put the can badge on my pouch You know, this looks pretty good I think I want to get some more I love it Yeah, but I noticed a lot of people take pictures of the collaboration for Atre But I don't think they really go inside And there's so much to do inside,
like the pop up store and all the displays they have It's really nice So if you guys see a collaboration at Atre,
make sure to go inside to check it out So now I'm going to open the stuff I got at Ami Ami Alright so I got the Hunter X Hunter Re-ment And this is so cute All the characters are cool. But of course I want Killua.
They look really useful So let's check out who I got Hope I got Killua Let's see who I get oh no I got Nobunaga Oh man Ok I said everyone's cool
and Nobunaga is cool, but I think I wanted someone else Yeah Nobunaga All right, so here's Nobunaga You can put paperclips and stuff But, yeah, I really wanted Killua Maybe better luck next time but this is pretty cute, So Ami Ami is really nice This figure is pretty new and it's 15% off
and a lot of new figures that come in are 5 to 20% off. But things go really fast A popular figure can be gone in, like, a day So one time I actually wanted a figure and I was debating I went upstairs and I came back down and it was gone So yeah, this figure is super cute.
Let's check it out Tenihira Anya She really does fit on your palm Oh, my God. This is so cute and Chimera san is so small So here's her base Small and cute So here's Anya and Chimera san They look so cute I love her pose And I feel like Chimera san is a really cute bonus Oh, and second season is airing right now and it's so adorable. I love it so much All right.
So we're down to the last figure I got this at Akiba No X inside Radio Kaikan Oh, man So here's the 15th anniversary 1/7 scale of Holo from quesQ And I never bought a figure from quesQ But from the looks of it, it looks pretty promising Yeah. It looks really nice So let's check it out This box is so nice I can't wait to open it So yeah, this box is really nice There's grass and there is the sky And there's a wolf on each side Such a nice box So here's the base This is so cute The flowers look so cute Oh my gosh This figure looks so amazing So the paint job is beautiful. And I love how you can see the whole movement Like, it looks like she's dancing and you can see her hair moving with the wind and her dress is also moving And I love her anklet Oh, man I love her facial expression She looks so charming Beautiful Wow Even her tail has movement Oh, my gosh. This is so beautiful I love Holo so much So I hope you guys enjoyed the Akihabara tour I do plan on making more videos similar
