Hey guys! It's Selena I'm in Shinjuku today and there's a lot of anime and cool stores here, so let's go check it out Let's start from Shinjuku East Exit So first, let's go check out to a place where there's a really cool Kaiju There's a giant Godzilla here in Shinjuku You can see him up close inside Hotel Gracery cafe So right next to Godzilla hotel there's a new building called Kabukicho Tower there are lot of interesting restaurants, an arcade and a Ichiban Kuji Store So let's go check it out There are many restaurants and cafes on the second floor On the third floor there's an arcade Also an Evangelion VR ride And a ONE PIECE card game store I like to come here for the Ichiban Kuji Official Store they have a lot of different kujis Alright guys so I found a pretty good kuji I can't wait to open at home This arcade called Gigo is one of my favorites in Shinjuku They do a lot of campaigns so let's check it out I like to play crane games here because it's cheaper and they have campaign bonuses I put in 700 yen so I got a clear file There was a campaign for Chainsaw Man Yay! Oh no Oh my gosh! I finally got it But it was worth it So here is the Kinokuniya Bookstore This is usually where I get my books And they also have Japanese and English mangas On the seventh floor, they have a section dedicated to mangas in English And back on the first floor there's a Sanrio Store They have so many kawaii items There's a machine where you can create a keychain with your name on it There's a Hello Kitty popcorn machine that makes fresh popcorn at the spot I'm gonna get some popcorn, it's only 300 yen I feel like I can kind of smell it I don't know if you have to spin this thing but it's pretty fun It smells good I got the caramel popcorn and it's super hot Let's open it Looks so tasty Wait this is really good It tastes like caramel
So good! So here's Marui Annex and this place is so awesome They have an official Godzilla store, a lot of anime pop up shops and Surugaya where they sell new and used figures The official Godzilla store is so cool They have everything from toys to clothings This pop-up shop changes every 2 to 3 weeks There have so many different anime collaborations The Cinnamoroll Cafe is so cute There's a Surugaya on the fifth floor and in this outlet corner you can find a lot of merch from different animes for 100 to 300 yen They have tons of new and pre-owned figures They have a really great Shonen Jump section Sometimes you can find some amazing deals here Inside the glass cases are some really rare
and expensive figures There are rows and rows of figures and merch There is even some glass cases for rare merch There's a magical girls section that's a really big Moon Stick light Usually there's a sale section by the register, and if you see this sticker, it means it's half off Oh my gosh guys, I found a really good deal Can't wait to open it The Medicos shop has a huge section of Jo-Jo figures and merch They have different anime events along with exclusive merch And they also have a section of items from the previous collaborations This Vocaloid collaboration looks so beautiful The seventh floor is really cool There's many shops dedicated to lolita fashion There's a Prime 1 studio shop It's so cool to see these statues in person They also have merch and figures here too There are restaurants on the eighth floor and there are also collaboration cafes So here's Marui Men and they have an Animate on the seventh floor so let's go check out what kinds of bonuses they have They have really good quality boxes and holders for clear files, can badges and coasters If you're going to pick up some merch and manga Animate is really good because they have campaigns for lots of anime where you can get exclusive bonuses like these I like to walk to Artnia cafe It takes about 15 minutes, but you can also take the train to East Shinjuku and from there it's like a 4 minute walk Alright, guys so we're here This is the Square Enix Artnia Cafe and I love this place Let's go inside. This is the cafe area So in the back is a really nice room There's a fountain and crystal, and there's other goods here too Looks really nice Woah, this is awesome And they sell figures here This place is so amazing and it's so cool If you're a Square Enix fan, you definitely want to visit this place One of my friend got the Chocobo pancake and the other got a Loto's sword parfait And I got the slime pancake Here's my slime drink It's so cute It's Blue Hawaii flavor Let's try it Wow, this is so refreshing Super delicious So here's my slime pancake It says a slime has appeared,
and we got a couple of options To eat, run, block and to use items I guess I have no choice but to eat him Ahh I feel so bad Wow The pancake is super fluffy and the maple syrup is so sweet and good And the berry has a really good chemistry with the pancake Super good! So here is the rooftop of Marui and there's a really nice garden where you can rest and relax for free Wow it's so pretty So I think it's really interesting how there is a garden on top of a rooftop in such a big city This garden is so beautiful They have a lot of cat statues here
They're so cute So I love chilling here when I'm tired If you guys get tired during the day, make sure check this place out and take a little break Yeah so you can see a lot of tall buildings on this rooftop and it's really nice So at Tower Records there is a section dedicated to anime CDs and vinyls They got lots of vinyls So cool So if you go to the west side of Shinjuku, there's Yellow Submarine and sometimes they have really good deals This Yellow Submarine has a lot of supplies for figures and mechas They also have a pretty big board game section
and dices I like to get my card sleeves here because sometimes they have a good sales corner These are some really good deals Right behind Yellow Submarine is BOOK-OFF I'm at Book-OFF right now and BOOK-OFF usually sells used books, games and CDs But on the sixth floor there's a whole floor dedicated to anime figures and anime goods There is a crazy amount of merch So around this area there's a lot of Yodobashi's And right here they have the hobby building and they have lego's, dolls, Precure, Tokusatsu and board games These nano blocks are so cool These paper crafts looks so fun to make Woah! These crystal puzzles are so cool Wow If you want to do more gashapons, right across the street, there's an underground gashapon store Right next door, there's a lot of character goods like Splatoon, Minecraft, Pokémon, Mario, Dragon Quest and Kirby On the second floor there's a huge section for robots and vehicles This place is filled with plastic models of vehicles and vessels along with the latest mechas On the third floor, there's an entire floor dedicated trains and train tracks This is really cool So this is the last item I bought today It's a really nice can't wait to open it So let's head back and unbox everything Alright guys, so I got some stuff from Shinjuku
and they're all really nice For one of the figures, I got a really good deal,
so let's check them out So before I open the stuff, I just want to say sorry that this video took so long to finish I actually wanted it out by August, but as some of you guys know, I broke my leg and it took way longer than expected But I had so much fun filming Shinjuku,
So I hope you guys enjoyed it And I got some nice stuff, so I'm super excited to open it So let's get started Alright so first let's check out the stuff I got from the GiGO Arcade I got this Pochita plush and this is not just a regular plush because if you pull this string, he vibrates like a chainsaw And I really wanted it And usually at GiGO they do different campaigns If you put in 500 yen or 700 yen,
you get an exclusive merch and this time they're doing Chainsaw Man And if you put in 700 yen, you get this clear file Exclusive clear file So I got this Power clear file and it says Chainsaw Man in the back It's really nice and I thought I could get Pochita for 700 yen, but I couldn't So I put another 700 yen and got this clear file This one's really cute they're Chibi characters,
and the back also looks nice And I got Pochita on my eighth try so I had some credit left and I went to a different machine So I saw a machine with something really cute It was this Mofusand plushie and I love Mofusand so much For this one, it was a Sanrio and Mofusand collaboration So Mofusand is wearing a My Melody outfit
and was just too cute And it was actually a pretty hard I was kind of struggling and it took me a couple more times and honestly, I don't think I would have been able to get it if I didn't get the help of the worker Sometimes, if the the plushie gets stuck somewhere they'll come and fix it for you And I think, sometimes when they notice that you're trying really hard, they kind of help you put it closer to the hole The worker put it really close to the hole where basically I just lift it and it... It was almost like an automatic win So that was very nice of him So I got Mofusand with another ten tries But it was really worth it because I really wanted it Yeah, it's super cute So GiGO has a lot of different kinds of campaigns And I remember they're doing Jujutsu Kaisen and Oshi No Ko and I think they're doing Haikyu right now So if you have a chance to, make sure to check it out I reserved something at the Kinokuniya bookstore
a while back and I just picked it up It's this Berserk box It's volume 42 with a bust figure inside Oh my gosh I can't wait to see how it looks like Alright, so let's unbox it You can kind of see So here's the book in the back, Volume 42 Can't wait to read it Oh it looks so nice So here's the base It kind of looks like a Pop Up Parade base Here is Guts So shiny So I can take this part off for the dragon slayer and put in his hand So here is the bust figure of Guts Looks pretty cool So this is the Guts berserker armor bust figure At first I was wondering how the sword is gonna look since it's only half of it But the translucent effect made it look really cool, and there's a lot of details to the sword Not just the sword, but the whole lower body And the left arm is overflowing with ODO effects I think it's pronounced as od in English, so that makes the figure look really cool
and different from a regular figure So this is how it looks compared
to the Pop Up Parade L The sword for the bust is definitely bigger and more detailed and has a cool effect The whole figure has more shine and I see a slight tint of purple If you're looking for a full figure, then the Pop Up Parade L might be a better choice since it's roughly $10 more than the bust. But they both look really cool So here is book number 42, the newest book Oh my gosh, I think I'm gonna read it over the weekend and I'm just so glad that they continued releasing Berserk I don't care how long it takes, I just want to see Guts and Casca happy in the end So I think I'm gonna read this with the Guts theme on, I always put on the Guts theme song when I read the books, so I'm gonna do that Yeah, I just love Berserk so much Can't wait to read it So at Marui Annex and Marui Men, they have a lot of anime pop shops And this time around, I got something from the My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU pop up shop I got this Yukinoshita Yukino acrylic stand And it's like a summer theme where she's cleaning up the pool Super cute And I also got this trading acrylic keychain and it's random, so I'm super excited to see who I get And every time you spend 2,000 yen, you get to raffle And I really wanted the A prize Because it's a really big acrylic stand I ended up getting the C Prize, which was this postcard Which most people end up getting Of Yuigahama Yui So here's the postcard

You know what's interesting? They're all different items but I got all three girls So the next item is a figure I got from Surugaya and I got it for a really good deal It's this SPY x FAMILY Anya Forger figure from F:NEX and I got it for about 50% off When I fist saw the preorder for this figure, I thought it was really nice But I thought it was a little pricey for the size And I saw it at Surugaya and it looked better in person and it was super cute and it was 50% off
It was 7900 yen So it's a really good deal So I had to pick it up and yeah, it's really nice So let's check it out So here is the base This is a really nice base There's bricks and here is Anya,
super cute and Chimera san Alright, so this is the 1/7 scale figure of Anya from F:NEX And first of all, the base is really unique It's not just a circle base with no design It looks like a brick tile that's damaged That's really cool And Anya's face and pose is so kawaii I like how she's holding a fake gun,
and she's got Chimera san with her Absolutely adorable The design on the dress is neatly done and it also has movement The overall paint job is nicely done Her hair is pink and there's a lighter pinkish white gradation I have a couple Anya figures and this is the only one that has this spot on her hair to make it look like it's shiny And actually this might be my only figure with that white shine design Let me know if you guys have any figures with that design I see that a lot in mangas, but not on figures so it's pretty interesting So the second season just started and I felt like it was just such a good timing to find this figure because it's so cute And yeah just looking at this figure makes you kind of see how Loid and Yor looks in person too because this looks great And I also got something from Yodobashi Camera It's a crystal puzzle of Totoro And I never done these crystal puzzles
before, but I thought it looked really nice Alright, so let's check out this 3D jigsaw puzzle So this is how it looks like There's 65 pieces So here are the instructions And each piece has numbers So we just line it up and start building So here's the base
Pretty nice So let's build the big Totoro Oh, the small Totoro is so easy Put the ocarina on So cute You don't even need to build this one So I finally completed the Totoro jigsaw puzzle It took me like an hour but it's super cute Okay, so this crystal jigsaw puzzle
is so pretty and it was so much fun to make I love how I can see the tree trunk through the leaves You can see the brown inside the green and it looks so cool And the three Totoro's are so cute with their ocarina And I love how some parts like the stomach, ocarina, and name plate is not made of crystal It gave it a more unique and calm touch and this was my first 3D puzzle
so was kind of complicated at first, but once I started getting the hang of it,
it was pretty simple So at Kabukicho Tower there is an official Ichiban Kuji store And there was a kuji that I really wanted, and I saw it left at a really crazy state There was nine pulls left, so I got the whole thing It was this Godzilla Ichiban Kuji And this is the last one prize And it was nine pulls left to get this Oh my gosh, I can't believe I found it at such a good state So here's the E prize It's a Godzilla art selection and I thought it was really nice because it's like a Japanese style art using sumi ink It's really nice You can see King Ghidorah and Godzilla Yeahh
Looks awesome So here's the B prize It's a big acrylic stand, and there's actually two other acrylic stands and they're a lot bigger This is the only one left
and it's really cute This is the 1954,
the very first Godzilla acrylic stand So here is the acrylic stand of Godzilla,
and I love how they have information like his release date 1954
and his height 50 meters So he is a little bit smaller
than the newer Godzilla's and his weight 20,000 tons

look at his facial expression And he's holding an airplane That's kind of scary
I guess So C prize are gauze towels and I got Mothra and Godzilla So here is the Mothra towel

so it feels really nice Yeah I'm super happy I got this And here is the original 1954 Godzilla And honestly, the color is so adorable I just love how they made it
pink and blue That's so cute This color just made him from
being scary to super cute and the D prize are movie logo displays I got three different types So here's a D prize and it's
an acrylic logo So this is really nice This is pretty big If you have the Biollante and Godzilla figure it's gonna look really good if you display this right next to them And here's Godzilla versus King Ghidorah
Wow And here is the very first Godzilla logo, the one from 1954, I believe Wow, this is really nice And the F prize is really interesting It's a monster head magnet I kind of wish I got more of these It's random So let's check it out So here are the heads you can get And I really want the burning Godzilla Burning Godzilla was the A prize,
so I couldn't get it So I definitely want the head
and I think King Ghidorah is pretty cool I also really like the 2001 Godzilla He looks kind of cute So let's check out what I get. I want Burning Godzilla Oh, King Ghidorah Woah, oh my goodness Look at the detail Look at the scale Whoa and look at the mouth This is really detailed I can see his teeth I can see his tongue Wow this is a really nice, it's not a figure,
but this is a really nice magnet It looks beautiful What did I get? Oh, okay Wow, I thought it was burning Godzilla,
but it's Godzilla The 2001 Godzilla, because you can
can't see his eyes and it's all white This is really detailed So let's check out the inside of his mouth
Wow Look at that This is very nicely painted Oh my goodness I just like how his eyes are all white That's so cool This is a really, really nice magnet I really wish I got more of these
Wow Alright and here is the last one prize This is from the movie
Godzilla versus Destroyah And since I saw the kuji
I decided to rewatch it and I rewatched it recently It just made me want to get this figure, even more So I'm super happy I got it Yeah
So here's the handle I love how the recent Ichiban Kuji has handles for the figures Woah! This is huge Wow, this looks amazing And his tail is so long Yeah, but my parents love Godzilla And I remember watching Godzilla when I was a little kid with them and I was like really small so I don't remember a lot of things But I do remember that they had a lot of,
like soft vinyl toys And when I saw this Ichiban Kuji it reminded me of my parents
and I wanted my own Godzilla figure So I decided to rewatch
some of the Godzilla I watched Godzilla versus Space Godzilla and Godzilla versus Destroyah And it's interesting because my first Godzilla figure is technically not Godzilla This is Junior because this is the famous last scene from the movie
Godzilla versus Destroyah And this is the last part where Junior comes out The detail
and coloring for Godzilla is amazing The overall tone is really cool It's black with a shade of blue and the body feels smoother than the head, hands, legs, fins and tail And it doesn't need a base because
the tail helps keep balance the figure very well And the claws are pretty sharp
and I like the paint on it It makes it look like it's kind of worn out The details for the mouth and teeth is so realistic Oh, and you can see the eyes
It's a little bloodshot red Such fine details Including the tail, this is a 40 cm long figure Yeah, this is just awesome. Yeah so I love Godzilla and my dad has some movies of Godzilla
so I used to watch with him as a little kid And there's a new movie
coming out in November It's called Godzilla -1 and it looks really good,
so I think I might go watch it Unfortunately
I can't watch with my dad anymore because he actually passed away
a few years ago But yeah, Godzilla's very precious to me. Yeah, so if you're a fan of Godzilla,
Shinjuku is a really nice place to go to There's a life sized Godzilla
at this place called Hotel Gracery, and there's even a Godzilla room
with exclusive merch And you can hear Godzilla roar from 12:00PM to 8:00PM He roars every hour And there's also a goods shop And a cafe where you can drink tea or coffee
and look at Godzilla's head So if that's not enough of Godzilla for you You can go to Marui Annex
