5 QUICK GREAT TIPS & TRICKS FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS! - Rimworld Guide

hey guys i hope you're all doing great i'm back with another five advanced remote tricks and you guys seem to like the previous ones i'll link the rumble tips and tricks playlist in the description below in case you want to learn some more tricks after this video the tricks in this video are meant for the more experienced player but beginners can still learn a lot from it as well so without further ado these are the five advanced tricks for rimworld let's get into it trick number one the collapsing roof defense this is a nice defensive trick that you can use in either your kill box or just a general area where your enemies tend to attack you first you start by building one wall and make your pawn add a roof around it then you build a few sandbags for radius to take cover so they can stay under the roof once you are done you go ahead and weaken the one wall and descend back to the point that a few shots will break it now that it's done you wait for a raid i spawned in a quick race our pawns are taking cover and watch the enemies approach watch this one take cover behind the sandbag thinking they are safe you now aim at the wall there we go the wall broke and it clops the roof right on top of your enemy and killed it it would be better if they were all under the roof but you get the point you can kill enemies and injure them all for the cost of one wall and a couple of sandbags you can even do this trick without the sandbags but you have to be more precise with your timing and your shooting you can also for example put an ied behind the wall so it blows up it takes out the wool and then collapses the roof trick number two a quick and cheap way to increase beauty this is a quick and efficient trick but it's still nice to know do you want beautiful rooms but simply don't have enough jade to build all your floors and walls and thrones out of it well do i have to trick for you did you know you can build a fence out of just one jade and it's worth 10 beauty points oh you did um well okay then let's continue trick number three down your big brain pawns without risks berserk breakdowns are always a pain in the ass you can't arrest them because they'll fight back but if you try them down by shooting or hitting them there's always a chance that they will die especially if randomly hates you but i have a solution for you if they use these brain implants that are on the screen right now you can chuck an emp at them and they'll go down for a few hours it's basically pushing the reset and reboot button this way you can down your precious pawn without a chance of them dying and a little extra tip if they have these stomach implants they'll start vomiting do with that information whatever you want trick number four automatically harvesting fully grown wild plants every time i got an ambrosius proud event i forgot about it after a while and then harvest them but if you get an event what you can do is put it in a growing zone you make a growing zone like this include all of it and then turn sewing off otherwise your farms will replace it with potatoes this way once the ambrose is fully grown your farmers will automatically harvest it i'll use death more now to just make it fully grown there we go now it is ready to be harvested and here my farmers go on their way to harvest ambrosia but keep in mind this works with every kind of plant so if you add trees hill roots or berries to the zone the farmers will also run over and harvest that once it's done so now when you get the ambrosius proud event or any other sprouting event you just mark it with the growing zone and turn something off and you don't worry about it anymore less micromanagement for you and finally trick number five countering mac turrets this is a real nice trick if you own royalty dlc you have surely noticed gigantic self-sufficient turrets with one goal destroying everything that has a pulse and control by you these and the mini slugger turrets have a range of 46 that's an old number huh no they did that on purpose the sniper rifle has a range of 45 so they gave the turret 46 ring so you can't out snipe them but what if i told you that they ducked up look if you look at the turrets it is not exactly in the middle of the area where it can shoot you will go all the way to the top right you then want to stand right here on this spot the turret cannot hit you while you are just within the range of a sniper rifle and now you just let your sniper go nuts he can shoot the turret but turret can't hit him so sit back relax and laugh at randy
