34 Minecraft Pet (Animal) House Designs!

hello my name is gran and welcome back to another minecraft video today we're going to be going over some more pet house designs considering you guys loved the last one that we did except this episode we're going to cover more animals than we did before it's a bit like greetings Ark this one we're going to have two of each animal so let's dive straight in there because there's a lot to get through so the first one that we've got is a fairly simple hut for chickens and we've also named all of them as well here we've got egg Charon and chick egg Sheeran there's lots of names we'll get we will get there but let's get back to the house the house itself is fairly simple made out of word lot of trapdoors got a bit of dirt and grass on the top of the house itself to make it look a bit more overgrown and the second chicken house that we have today is a bit more of a farm like one we have plenty of chickens in a giant silo and it does look kind of complicated but it is just a giant tube that's got a bit more texture than you might expect lots of the polished and as a bit of cobblestone wall on the side and some brown glass obviously there's a lot of things going on here but the great thing about this is you could have multiple of them in a row and it's actually pretty functional you can access the chest underneath and collect any feathers or eggs that they drop and you could shove a lot of chickens in that giant tube and then you know you could even fully automate it have lots in a row you could make a whole farm out of it if you really wanted to so I thought that was a pretty cool design next up is rabbits - rabbits we got first of all a basket you know Easter Bunny that kind of thing it's a fairly simple design it's got some buns people usually forget about buttons when you're building and we got the Easter Bunny in here Cinnabon and we got mr. ha poles as well so we've also got a couple of dragon eggs in there as well because spend to be an egg basket fairly simple design next one is my all-time favorite of this entire video I know I've already got my favorite out of the way already look at that it is a giant carrot for your bunny to live in it's got a mixture of lots of red sandstone bit of jungle planks in there and some orange terracotta then we've got a really cool technique of using the green wool and a bit of carpet there that's just sitting on top of string and the smoke that's coming out the chimney is a mixture of orange and brown glass the design of this is just absolutely phenomenal especially for its size the bunny itself or bunnies sit inside a little thing we got david copperfield here let's see we've got rabbit de niro that puns never end and we got bun Affleck I'm sorry the girl's name the pool of the animals is my first time reading okay so we got some really cool design there's my all-time favorite we're gonna move on to the dogs now we covered quite a lot of dogs in the last episode so we might rehash some of them a little bit we've got our Veda inside of a modern house here it's just a very small and so you could have a giant modern house where you live and then do a miniature version for the dog we've got just the normal style if you've watched any of my modern house videos it's very angular lots of right angles lots of hard squares using the same palette that we always do the quartz the dark wood and some cyan concrete or terracotta we've also got some iron trap doors with a bit of a lever underneath to make it vertical the second design for our dog is a little castle so again it's kind of using that whole house idea it looks more complicated we got gwen stefani in here today and it's a very similar concept a 3x3 inside floor space got a bit of a garden outside the front and it's just a really nice design for a dog but I'm not entirely sure how you would make it fit in with everything else that you've got unless you actually have a castle much like I suggested with the modern house one maybe have a giant castle and you have a little castle for your dog as well of course these would also work with some of the other pets as well some of them of these designs aren't exactly specific to each pet next up is a cat jungle gym and it means that literally it's got lots of fleas on it and we've got kitty Poppins on today so lots of leaves covered over lots of slabs there's a fairly simple design and you can go nuts with it you can make it really big or keep it relatively small and it would fit in quite a lot of places even outside so yeah it's a pretty cool design and the next design is another cat one but this is slightly different this is set in the ground and this would work outside and inside so it's like a miniature house in a basement so on the outside it's just a small fence but when you actually go inside and a lot of people do this with animals and pets they sort of sink their animal pens in the ground so we've got angelic cat in here just you know it's basically in a house is there's not much - it's got co-op here it's got a little jungle gym as well so that work for a lot of pets to be honest with you not just needs of two cats so the next one is pigs - pig designs so we've got a very normal little house and this would also work for your cows and your sheep and that kind of thing we've got - bacon in here it's got a little pen one of the tricks that I like to do is add some soul sand mixed in with some paths because it makes it look like more of a pigsty and the huts itself is actually fairly simple it's got a nice wooden frame plenty of staircases and a slanting roof that has lots of slabs placed over the top to make it seem a bit more rugged so this would work outside and you can make multiple ones you could even make this one much larger but the big one for the pigs is the one coming up now this is actually a house that incorporates the pig house underneath so the human will live on the top and the pigs all live underneath but as a little bit of a mystery on the roof there you can use your imaginations you know this is meant to be a bit of a pigsty is the idea but the house itself is kind of irrelevant it's just the concept of having the pigs underneath it in their little playpen and then you've got the gates and stuff around it to close them in and - there's just poop everywhere in this design so we've got Albert Einstein in here we got crispy bacon then the puns are so real in this video anyway that's the idea and of course it could be used for other farm animals as well speaking of which moving on to the cows we have to go through all of these farm animals and you can name any of them we've got like a little enclosure for Moo Donna here very good and it's got a bit of everything he's got a little house made out of slabs a bit carpet there it's got as I'm pond bit of wheat so it's meant to be like his own little paradise inside of his pen so it's kind of taking the concept of having just a normal animal pen and then kind of making it its own so it just gives the cow something extra makes them feel a bit more special next up is one that you might expect a bit more for a cow pen you've got another Hut this is a slightly different design but the main thing about this one is having the cobblestone wall you would see this a lot out in Wales and other parts of the United Kingdom where you've got these old-style pens for keeping sheep and that kind of thing the house itself is an arch over a simple wooden frame but it's got plenty of buttons buttons and quite a lot of detail to a bill especially on something like this and we got muli really raised iris in here that was a good one I'll give you that one so let's move on shall we the next animal that we're going to be looking at is the sheep so we're gonna get all the farm animals out of the way before we start hitting some of the more interesting ones this is an excellent idea this is like a mini barn so again you could have a barn or a farm where you live and then have these little ones for some sheeps we've got a nice little decorative area outside the front we've got this red concrete to symbolize you know a american-style barn and it's got this big ole archway that sort of plateaus off each side it's a very nice shape I don't think you could get this any smaller in Minecraft and on the top we've got the little spike in the thing that the points north east south west overall this design is one of my favourites my favorite of course being the carrot that we had earlier and we got a sheep in here called lady Baba like it very very nice next up we have another sheep design but this one is more of a gimmick it wasn't really a serious suggestion maybe you could come up with something a bit better if you name a sheep Jeb like that you can make the Sheep change multiple colors this one's obviously wandered off of the disco and had enough of partying but you could do a little jig box and you know maybe even some redstone and have the floor light up and party on with the Sheep and it wasn't really a serious suggestion next up is an odd one we've got some skeleton horses and we tried to keep these in theme with the whole skeleton horse thing so here we've got a tomb or a crypt that would fit really well in a graveyard I don't know many people out there in the survival Minecraft world where they build graveyards but this design would definitely fit to keep your horses in I'm not entirely sure you know with all these different designs and all these different animals I'm bound to hit some of them were no one will use but maybe this will give someone out there some inspiration for those that really love keeping a skeleton horse however the next design that I want to show you really is something special and I will spend a little bit of time looking over it as it is a bit more complicated this is like out in the outback style dead carcass for an animal a huge animal and the whole pit is sunken in the ground where the skeleton horse lives and it's got loads of dead bushes and all sorts around it so it sort of curves around in made oh courts and staircases and slabs and that kind of thing and it's got like a cow head at the end and we got Sherlock bones that lives in here and you could keep your horses in not even just this one it could be multiple horses so if you live in the desert or more importantly the canyon this would fit really really well I think you could have like a saloon you could even have a town that would be such an excellent place to store your horses it doesn't necessarily just have to be the skeleton one so like I said I'm just gonna take a quick glance around for anyone that does want to copy it you should be able to work out how to make it from all the different angles that I'm giving you you can see that it is a bit more complicated than most of the things that I showcase today at least so hopefully those of you that want to build it have got enough angles to do so next up is donkeys now donkeys I think are quite underrated you can use them as storage but they're not particularly fast but it's time to give them a bit of love now obviously I've done horse stable designs before and I guess this is just building on those designs adding another one to the list but this time we're using it for donkeys as honestly nothing that separates this from a horse stable in my eyes because they're essentially the same thing and the same function so we've got a pretty cool-looking Shack and we've got everything you need the hay and the water all those decorations the only difference here between these designs is that they've got a more sandy vibe to them this one for example is made out of sandstone it's got a bit more detail it's definitely a lot bigger of course the playpen has a bit dirt in there you know really shows that an animal lives inside there and I got the pergola technique with a little bit of a garden underneath where you play sign off a sign after sign and it looks like planks of wood going through the log it's a very cool technique I've used it multiple multiple times and you know I'll just give a quick whip around this design to show you the rest of the build in case that you want to copy it so obviously there's a lot of designs here and I can't do a block for block tutorial on all of them because that would be insane so let's move on to the next design shall we which is llamas and I got a couple of cool ones here not many people collect llamas in Minecraft in my opinion so we got llama delray here and what I love about llamas right is that they've got like a little face on this now is we're like if you look closely on his snout like look at that it's like a face on a face it's really weird to look at all I can see whenever I look at those things anyway we've got a water trough here and we found a use for the terracotta blocks this is like a little pattern on the floor as like a carpet and basically the whole thing is just a temporary style tent it's made out of wood again this is for a canyon style obviously llamas don't live in the canyon now I don't know why but the lead they always walk off their leads and break them it's rather annoying well we'll say goodbye to Lana Del Rey for now because we've got another design that I want to show you for those of you that have seen the Emperor's New Groove this is like a Peruvian style but you know in the same way that they did for that Disney movie it's got a really cool set of designs around and to be honest with you you could just use this as your normal house so you got like cloth draped over a little washing line and we've got our llama outside the front but it's about this house here made of sandstone it's quite simple it's all about the roof if you've seen my previous videos I've mentioned before that the roof is so so important and nothing more on this build is more important than the roof it defines it the shape is incredible and the pattern is important we've obviously got a little porch out the front as well so I'll give you a quick little look around if you want to copy this the shape is what you need to get and indeed you could make a bigger style house of this you could even make an entire village and then just use these to store some llamas in general it would basically be like the Emperor's New Groove with a movie by the way which I really like so we got Kendrick Lamar here Kendrick Lama that's a good one see they always like walk away even if you put them on a lead so best probably to put them inside the house itself so anyway this was a pretty cool design and it's a bit more in theme this one because the Emperor's New Groove actually had lots of llamas around they would farm them much like real life moving on we've got parrots now for some reason my server doesn't spawn parrots so I've had to use these custom heads for now apologies about that I would be making them dance if I could so I did cover a few parrot designs in my previous video but I've got a couple more to add to the list for greens are so this one is just a simple birdcage but it's got quite a lot of little details in there especially the use of the trapdoors has gone and Ron at the top for a bit of light and some and a spike on the top this would fit in a house well a big house at least or you could incorporate it in some way the next one's a bit more free flow if you've got a tree house you could put it in there or if you've got something in a natural setting then you could create some sort of custom like tree it looks a bit like sudowoodo in my opinion it's got plenty of vines on it jungle leaves although you could change that to anything else and then you have some branches where they come off and the parrots sit on top of them there's a cool little trick here that I wanted to point out before we move on if you look down here there's just a staircase put next to another one that's upside down and it looks like roots it looks like the roots are coming out the ground and going back in again it's a pretty cool technique if you're making custom trees so this isn't all just about pet designs there's all sorts of little tips and tricks in these videos the next one is for the polar bear everyone wants to keep a pet polar bear they're so cute we got snow mercy here and we'll put him back on his lead cuz he likes to walk away just like all the other animals that's right go back in there and it is an igloo I can't really get away by suggesting it's anything other than an igloo but the idea of putting it open and having a polar bear in there I think it works really really well especially as he looks so cute in that little snug area so it's about the circular or spherical as we can get in Minecraft and it's helped along by the fact that we can place some compact snow down and put them at different heights it's got a few windows and a little chimney overall the design of this is incredibly simple it just takes a long time with all of that compact snow so you probably want to use that in a taiga biome next up is another idea but the idea of this one is just to keep the polar bears on their own island so it's got a bit of an iceberg there you could even put polar bears on some ice we got bearings and perón s on here and you don't even need a lead on this one because they shouldn't hop in the water and leave the island so it's almost mimicking real life where polar bears will sit on a piece of floating ice out to sea so I think that's a really cool idea obviously you're gonna need some water around maybe a C or you could link it up with some ice if you want but I think having that nearby and having a pet polar bear is a pretty cool thing moving on to squid now keeping squid has always been a bit of a problem because for some reason sometimes they just like to vanish but if you can fit this aquarium inside your house I haven't had this squid die yet so we've got this really cool very simple design using some logs and some spruce staircase but the cool thing about this is using the glass panes in the corners to make it look like a rounded glass front and then in the top we've got some iron trapdoors bit more spruce some water in there and some leaf blocks so it works really nicely and it has such a simple aesthetic there is only space really for one squid and he barely has a space in there at all you can see him struggling but hopefully he won't suffocate he hasn't died at this point yet next one is slightly bigger so this is for you people out there with massive houses on perhaps you even want to keep some squid outside again this design is incredibly simple it's just like a giant silo much like the chicken one just exacerbated a little bit got even more water in its got even more squid you could probably keep way more than three in there but the glass there allows you to see inside next up let's go over some mushroom designs so it's not surprising that we included an actual mushroom in this one so it's an organic build that's got a bit of a stem and the angles on this are actually pretty hard to pull off but if I look around you should be able to work it out if you want to make this design obviously it's just another cow so we really had to play on the whole mushroom thing for this video we got using a use of pretty fun guys and he's in here playing by himself okay there's a pretty low blow in the name for that one but anyway we got a pretty simple enclosure for the mushroom on this one next up we've got a mushroom house and I'm not going to spend too much time on this one we've got some different colored glass to match the palette of this room we've got some actual mushroom blocks interlaced into the roof and it's made out of bone blocks and this guy is called toad so again I'm not gonna spend too much time on this one but the concept is the if you want to use it now we're going to move on to slimes now you probably wouldn't have expected me to put this one in here because they are aggressive but they're so cute look at this so I've actually used an rabbit hutch I guess but I've stuck a slime in there as well as this is slime tastic and it's actually kind of difficult to capture one of these because they tend to hop around a lot and you need to build it around it because you can't put a lid on it as it's an aggressive mob but the hutch itself feels got a little water bowl in there and stuff is a cool idea now next up we've got an actual slime ball so this one is themed around the slime itself when we've actually got a slightly bigger one we've got green terracotta for a base and then the rest is mixed glass with the green bits and it's got some glass panes again to try and give it a bit more of a circular shape and create more of a sphere I think adding those panes gives it a bit more shape and you've got a little viewing platform in here so it's got a little a habitat in there to hop around in and you could elaborate on this or make it bigger better whatever your mind can come up with I'm sure you can do something with it so magic to you that's the end of greens art that's two of each animal and not including many aggressive mobs just the slimes over there and there's actually a few designs that didn't quite make the cut only four of them but I want to go over them anyway because they're pretty cool they didn't make the cut because they wrote weren't really specific enough to one animal so the first one we've got is a UFO it's got some daylight sensors around it lots of buttons and you could put pretty much any animal in there as well and the problem with this sort of thing is that it doesn't really fit in with someone's house as well and the next one we've got to show you that also didn't make the cut is this train now not only is it a bit over complicated for a video like this it doesn't really match any animal it's just sort of a place to put some pets if you wanted to but it's so cool-looking that I felt like we had to include it anyway so you could have multiple carriages and you could basically have an entire circus train full of animals if you wanted to I just don't think it's that suitable to actually housed some pets in especially you know your loveable ones that you want to keep around a bit more often it could be a bit of a pain the next one that didn't make the cut was this sort of japanese-style temple this Asian style temple again it didn't really fit any particular animal it just sort of was there this structure if I didn't tell you that this was an animal video you probably wouldn't have guessed that that's what it was for so that's part of the reason that it wasn't going to make it in the video but again it looks really cool so kind of wanted to put it in the didn't make it pile and this one was actually a prototype for one of the other ones it was just way too big so where we had those like little tiny trees this is what it was originally but this actually looks like enough space for a human to live in a tree house so I thought include that as well as I know lots of people like to make tree houses so that's actually it for the video but as always let's have a quick run through boy oh boy that was a lot of animal houses there was so many to cover so we had the slime houses I really like the idea of the slime ball there the mushroom houses obviously themed around mushrooms themselves and some squid tanks and if you use any of these designs or perhaps you want to see more even more animals let me know in the comments below we got polar bears and we have parrots I'm again sorry that we couldn't actually spawn the real mob in we've got llamas whoo llama del Rey and there and yeah there's just so many designs that are possible for animal houses some of them like this donkey one end up being just general stables or even just general builds some of them are super specific like the skeleton horse ones here I'm not too sure that you'd want to keep horse normal horses in them and then we got some weird ones like the multicolored sheep we got the barn that fits quite a lot of things and some of the farm animal ones I feel like the farm animal ones were a little bit more boring than you know like the llama and the slime and stuff because they are so generalized you know you could put the pig in the cow and the Sheep kind of in the same genre then we got the dog houses now everyone usually keeps a dog in Minecraft and my favorite one the rabbit the carrot house itself just I just love it I can't get over it and then we got the chicken silo which actually has a pretty good functional purpose so that's it for today's video that was a lot of animal houses let me know which one was your
