hello my name is green and welcome back to another minecraft video today I'm going to be showcasing ten animal rooms now you might be thinking Korean what is an animal room well basically do you have a pet in your life that you love so much you'd love to dedicate an entire room to I know I do but in Minecraft if you've got a similar pet that you really like or you want to replicate one in real life maybe you want a room dedicated to them and here are some ideas on how you might go about doing that I've done kitchens living rooms pretty much every room imaginable so I thought why not do one for pets so let's get straight into it shall we now the first one is actually my favorite but we're going to come back to this one because it's a little bit more complicated this is to do with the burbs so we're going to move on straight away and we're going to come back to that one so this one is a little bit simpler this is just the interior of a room and this is for dogs obviously you can see the giant pour in the background and I might give you a little bit of a close-up on this one in case you want to copy it this on the wall would instantly just make any room dog worthy so it's basically made up of a lot of slabs and a lot of staircases so upside down upside down slab you get the idea we're making little paw prints and trying to replicate the shape of a pour as much as possible but the nice palette here kind of makes it seem more cottagey more sort of rustic in a way with the grays and browns and the greens and then we've got a few kennels in here as well plenty of dog bones got a few watering bits over here the idea is to try and give the dog everything it might need even though it's probably just gonna sit and do nothing so this is Doge in every green video involving animals we have to name them so that those would have tortoise good boy tortoise who's a good boy and we have pop it in here hello pop it hello so yeah that's the idea behind this one now this is a slightly bigger room in case you have a very big house and you want to have maybe lots of dogs in here but I've also done some smaller ones as well but some of the features of this room obviously are the kennels we've got a few bits of lights a bit of decoration on the wall the big thing is obviously the paw prints and then we've got some decoration over here some big windows so do with that what you will there's plenty of little trinkets to take away from this design next up we have another dog room but this one is slightly smaller because not everyone has a massive house to fit something like that in so what we've got here is a smaller room obviously we've got the dog paw print as well but I've slightly edited it so that it fits in here a bit better it looks slightly more like a cat paw print but we'll just forgive it for now so all I did was basically put this paw print on the back of the wall and then I put a kennel on the front with of course a little dog bone and this is petal LOL i've got like a ball here this is obviously a creeper head that i've turned backwards because it looks like a ball and it's got a food bowl those guys watering bin and a nice bed there so pretty much you want to make all of the things that the pet might need and then add a few little decorations so this room is very simple this just got a very bland wallpaper it's got the little base layer here made a pillar quartz but then it's everything else the dog would need play ball food bin blanket kennel all those things and then just a couple of paintings and a window and that's all you need for that kind of thing to make this room really feel like it belongs to the dog right let's move straight on shall we now this one is actually a normal bedroom and that's because some of you might want to keep a roommate rather than a house pet maybe you're allergic to pets both in real life and in Minecraft somehow so what I've got here is a really nice bedroom themed around the villager here this is Gerald hello gerald he sells paper no no he buys paper yeah he buys paper from you in case you have a lot of paper actually that's not a bad deal you know what Gerald I'll take you up on that yeah so let's go over the features of this bedroom shall we so one of the big things here is the windows we've got some lovely curtains instead of just having light gray wool all the way down just mixing in one block makes it seem like it's textured which is a really nice thing the wallpapers are pretty nice so again just like over there with the quartz block along the bottom we've got a base layer made of oak and brown terracotta but then we've got a striped pattern that goes all the way around I'm gonna go over several times how important a mock wallpaper can be in making your interiors look nice but just bear that in mind obviously the next thing is the very very fancy bed this is called Gerald do you sleep like a king look at this so this has made out of shelter boxes so if you want to store things you can or you could just make this wool it's up to you so it's a big old bed it doesn't actually serve any minecraft purpose but it is very nice-looking we've got another window here and then a couple of bits of furniture now I've gone over plenty of furniture ideas but if you want to take a quick look at these and replicate them it's just a couple of that makes such a satisfying noise it's just a pressure plate inside an item frame to make it look like it's got drawers so yeah that is pretty much the bedroom but you'll notice that the colour theme is all the same it's very very Brown we've got light Browns we also got a bit of grey in there I was basically just trying to go for the whole village a theme here I was actually toying with the idea of having a big villager face on it but that never came to fruition so let's move on shall we after by Jerrold see you later next up we have the llama room now not many people keep llamas as far as I'm aware but maybe you want a room dedicated to alarm and now obviously he's far away from home did you just make a click noise don't do that so what we've got is a bunch of hills now I did briefly go over the whole wallpaper thing so what we try to do here when we're imitating this one is Hills kind of like the llamas homeland so we're kind of trying to mimic that as much as possible and then using lights blue concrete powder which is a very strange block is very unique when it's got a very light blue touch that's meant to be the sky there they sort of meant to mimic it but we want to make sure that people the llamas do make some weird noises but we also want to make sure people know that this is a bedroom and we're not just doing pixel art so it's still got the base at the bottom made of quartz pillar and we've got this little divider in the corners all the way around as well that's common on most of the rooms that we've been through now to make this room more llama like obviously we got the hills but we've also got a big old rock and we just got a few bits of wood make it no more homely couple of paintings because it is a bedroom and a shelf of course as well water and Cusco you're pretty happy here right you're pretty happy good good Cusco anyway I'm not sure why you'd keep a llama but there you are next up we have cats oublie everyone knows that I am a cat lover I've got two cats of my own and I've even named them after them so here's a Maui a new Maui and in this little bit here is pearl hello pearl and up here is Minerva just like Minerva McGonagall anyway let's have a look at the room so it's a very very simple room we've got a more complex roof to let in some lights for it made of wood you can always go bit nuts with the roof if you want where you can keep it simple but I wouldn't recommend making a very complex ceiling and then a very complex wall as well because then it's a lot going on do one or the other in my opinion so what we've got here is a very simple wall made of white concrete and then we've got a huge jungle gym put into this room so there's not a lot else to say except there's a huge jungle gym so we've got a big tree trunk here obviously where I've placed a pearl in there and then we've got a little bit of a runway so that they can walk up and play even though these cats aren't particularly moving we've got a pompom that they can play with scratching post that's why this is made of brown wool and then there's a little area up here with a bed on it so they all look pretty happy in here if you ask me you can go nuts with your jungle gym but it is really really a cool idea to make it seem like a cat room in particular then of course a couple of paintings doesn't hurt and a window or two as well so let's move on shall we next up we have the polar bear room now polar bears are awesome because they're pretty rare like you'd have to go all the way to a ice biome snow biome whatever and pick one up and take it by the lead and bring it all the way home so it'd be pretty strange if you had your house and then someone just goes in a room and they find this little guy here now this is Bobo hello Bobo and the idea is again just like the llama one we're kind of trying to mimic the colors and theming of their home in real life so there's a couple of things I'm particularly proud of here first off obviously there's the igloo there's the snow around that's how I've decorated it that's his little house we've got a bit of light here and then we've got a frozen over pond but this has actually melted the ice here in particular one of my crowning achievements of this room is the hanging line now this is like an upside-down iceberg or an icicle up to you which way you want to see it but it's basically just some stained glass and some sea lanterns in there as well the idea being that if I made this amount of actual ice like I did the first time it just melted the ice and went everywhere so I would stick to the stained glass if I were you anyway for the for the walls on this one I mixed in some light blue wool and some light blue concrete again trying to keep it all icy it's very blue and it's all very monotone there so I'm really happy with how this has come out and I'm pretty sure Bobo's pretty happy so you're kind of getting to grips here with how I've gone about doing it with like things like the dogs and cats it's more about like the needs that they'd have but if it's a non tamable thing like a polar bear or a llama I'm just trying to like kind of almost make a zoo enclosure where it just looks like they're at home right moving on we've got another cat design here now this is more like a cat cafe than anything else and the way that I sort of distinguished this from like a living room to a cat cafe is I've made sort of more commercial lighting so I've got a couple of end rods which obviously give off light and then a few iron trapdoors that run all the way along between them and they hang from the ceiling and then we've got a bunch of cats here so let's just go through them this is Kiki and this is Pascal ten points to you if you know whose cat's these are in real life we've got ginger over here we've got original original cat and doppelganger I see and we've got Top Cat as well so the idea behind this room is as a very normal one we've got blue concrete powder blue concrete in a stripy pattern much like we did earlier but the main thing in this room is not only the lighting but we've got sort of a jungle gym that goes all the way round you can make these sort of walkways on the walls where humans obviously aren't going to occupy and they can just sort of run a and play on those as well but what we've also got is these little bits of like play cushions or whatever that they can go and sit in like ginger is over there and we also made a bunch of stands here sort of that they can climb on I mean they're all gonna sit still but you get the idea and then of course a couple bits of furniture there you've got some bookshelves and some chairs and it looks like a sort of cafe hybrid living room sort of thing I really like this one and this is a great way for cat lovers to sort of integrate the pet room into a living room so yeah it's a pretty cool room all together right our final room where the yep this is the bunny room and this is where wallpaper is the most prominent out of all of the others needs you kind of see how the wallpaper is really made a lot of difference for a lot of these but the bunny one in particular because of these adorable little bunnies made out of wool is a very very simple design just a u-shape with a block here a couple of eyes now this is a custom head blowing - black concrete and then a little button here as well if you can't get these you can always use wither heads and we got everything that a bunny would need in a bunny paradise so we've got the ultimate bunny jungle gym made of very soft colors and all the wallpaper on here is actually flowers using some hay bales and bone block which i think is really nice touch and it's made of pink concrete powder not many people think to use concrete powder as wall objects mainly because they fall or when it vanishes disappeared and we've got some really nice window designs here so this all goes all the way down now the hard thing to do in building is have a window that looks good from the outside and functions inside so if you've got this you've also got to pay attention to how that looks on the outside so we've got nice big window sills and lots of bunnies now you may have noticed that I didn't check what the bunnies names are that's because these bunnies names were named after you guys I tweeted out asking give me your best bunny names if you want to be in a video and this is what you guys came up with so we've got floppy dog Oh surf fluffens the third send your falafel send your puzzle fluff we've got hopper green murk rabbit my personal favorite carrots filbert and who have we got in here Rocco and bunnelby and I think we got another one in here as well who we going here flopster very cute thank you guys for your suggestions your bunnies are now forever in my minecraft world now a little side note here is the roof the ceiling has a nice ceiling fan with a beacon because it kind of looks like a rotating mechanism if you use your imagination a bit and a cool thing here is using hoppers and then a fence underneath it connects perfectly so it really does all in all in together especially with these iron trapdoors really look like a functional mechanism even though it won't move it definitely looks cool so the bunny room is definitely a cool one now we need to head back all the way to the start with the Avery because I did scoot over that one because it's not the standard style of build that I've done here because it's actually got an exterior as well as an interior so I obviously left out parrots and this is my every design I've come up with it's very similar to a design that I've shown in this channel before that was a greenhouse but it works perfectly in both situations all I've done is modified it so that it's a big cross-section so let's quickly go over the exterior of this and if you do want to replicate this but it is my favorite in this entire video I won't blame you so what we've got here is a very simple framework made up of some pillars and it's a mix of dark oak and some brown terra cotta we've got a base line much like we have in most of the builds I've shown you today and then we got a big a-frame that curves up now if you make four of these in equal measurement apart from each other you can then create a cross section and then link them up using some glass now I've mixed in some gray glass and some light gray stained glass as well and it's pretty simple from there once you've got that big a-frame linked up and then the glass you just got to link it up furthermore with dark oak fence gate and some more little bits here and there and along the top here with a little spire on the top now you might be wondering why have you done an exterior on this one but none of the others that's because this is technically an interior but the idea behind this basically was that you put it on top of a building so imagine a mansion and you've got all your roofs and a frames coming out but in the dead center of it and you might not be able to see this from the floor you've got this sticking out and that's why there's not actually an entrance here I mean you could build this perfectly fine outside and just put a door on the front there that would work don't get me wrong but let's pretend that we are currently in a house you know a normal house with this on top so the idea is I'm in my living room I've gone upstairs I'm going to the top floor and then I climb this ladder and then I'm in the Avery obviously every inch of it is surrounded in glass and that's one of the key parts of this is meant to be really airy so what we've got in here is a vegetation paradise oh my goodness I love the parrots they're so cute they don't make the most annoying noise in the world unlike the llama Cusco so let's have a quick mosey around at what parrots we've got here we've got waffles we have Buckbeak we have they all like to go up here for some reason we have burb we have re and we have wither wings how cute is that so how do we make this little Avery this is a tiny tiny space how did I make this feel like it's so full of life without overcrowding it and it's quite difficult to do the key here is not to just spam flowers everywhere that won't work you need a little bit of water so I've got a few ponds here and then sugar canes of varying height a few vines where you can put them because you can only put them on these bits here and then for some reason they kind of spread onto the glass but that's it won't go absolutely everywhere so that kind of controls it but the main feature is the tree now I can give you a few bits of recommendations here do not put the tree in the middle obviously you've got your ladder there but don't put it here don't put it here make sure you tuck it away in the corner but maybe don't touch the glass because that might be annoying from the outside so what I've done is try to make this as unobtrusive as possible so it sort of crawls up the the outline of this and then it crawls over and sprawls out now I've used spruce slabs because I don't want to take up too much space and it kind of crawls outwards it's got some leaves but I haven't overdone it with the leaves which is kind of a crucial point of this tree so you're trying to keep it nice and simple like a little orchard then all the parents can have their fun so there is obviously plenty of grass and ferns but not every inch of it you want to keep it nice and airy particularly in the middle oh that was from when I was labeling them so also there is some nice little flower pots here that you can attach so if you grab yourself a block and in the corners you'll notice they put one in three corners of this because the trees I see there try and give everything a bit of breathing space and then the last thing of course is these little fences with some pressure plates on top and then some iron bars but they don't sit on that tool for some reason all they like to do is sit up here I don't I don't know they've got it's lovely Avery and all they do is sit up there this is by far the most complicated of all the builds here but I hope that I've given you a bit of inspiration to take your mansion or your house and then build something like this on top of it where you can just have a little peaceful zone for you to explore or just chill out in now you may have realized if those of you that crazy and like to actually count these I have said that there are ten animal rooms and this is one two three four five six seven eight nine meaning there is a tenth one now the 10th one is dedicated to fish now I would be a fool to do the fish one with the new update coming out so let's hop over to this snapshot and take a look at the aquarium room that I've put together over there so we can actually have some fish and not just squid so what we've got here is a really interesting thing I think I hope that I've done something a bit more unique Harry's I've tried to really shape this aquarium and make the room look really usable obviously you don't want to walk in a room and just be hit with a gigantic aquarium in front of you with a flat bit of glass here and just fish I mean you could do that it's fine it depends what you want but what I've gone for here is a really nice framework all the way round and I've gone for a strange shape so I've got a bit of water here I mean it's grey because of the bug but I've actually got a bit of usable space here now I filled it in with just bookshelves got a few bits of the trap door trick because these are brand-new little desk with a screen with no computer you get the idea there's a little chair there but the main thing here is the shape of the aquarium so I've got some dark oak stairs and some slabs so that gives it a bit more depth so I've sort of separated this into two parts I've got my tropical aquarium down here with all my fish and yes they are all called mr. fish got some sand pickles to light it up and then some sea grass and coral in there as well to give it a bit more colour as well now the best pane glass that I think works is cyan pane you can use normal glass block as well but I think that the pane actually works the best because it leaves a little bit of gap of air and I think that just allows you to see through it best I hope that they honestly in the new update I really hope that they make it more clear with every single translucent block but it'll have to do and then up here we've got a turtle I haven't actually decorated up here very well there's just a turtle and he hasn't really moved a lot either so it's just a nice little touch here that it connects the whole aquarium to the ceiling and you might notice that this is the quartz pillar that makes up the ceiling block but I've actually included the framework into the roof itself so it sort of integrates in and makes it even more part of this gigantic aquarium so this is pretty much the fish room you might notice that the light blue concrete makes up the wallpaper for this one because I'm trying to match the water and the panes and also I chose green carpet on purpose and it's actually got some glowstone under it to light it up to match the green in here as well so that's the idea behind that one and I think this works really well all you've got to do is experiment with the shape of your aquarium to make this work right let's move back and finish up the rest of this video so that's it from me everyone thank you very very much for watching now obviously it's good fun making these animal rooms not only do I get to name the animals but you guys can put some suggestions in as well and if you want to see more of these obviously I could make loads of these so if you want to see a part two maybe with some different animals maybe even some hostile mobs let me know and I will definitely go ahead and try to make some rooms for you so that's it for me everyone thank you very much for watching I hope you enjoyed this video and goodbye [Music]
