30 Easter Eggs in Minecraft

hey what's going on guys my name is Antony but anyways today I'm going to be bringing you all 30 secret hidden Easter eggs in Minecraft now if you guys do enjoy today's video then be sure to give this let's go ahead and get straight into today's video about Easter eggs in Minecraft I hope you all enjoy it back in the earlier days of Minecraft on April Fool's Day 2014 there was an easter egg in the game where every player had their minecraft skin replaced with a villager skin as you can see on screen before achievements were replaced by advancements the message forgetting an achievement would say achievement get now this message was actually a reference to Mario getting a shine for the game as super mario sunshine on the Gamecube where the message would say it shine get another hidden easter egg in Minecraft is known as the hidden splash screen and it lies in the text document for the splashes in your Minecraft directory so if you look in the splash text document you can see all of the splashes but you will see a one line that says this message will never appear on the splash screen isn't that weird so yeah that's pretty cool there's actually a hidden secret splash within Minecraft the way that the a lighter wings operate and work in Minecraft is hinted to be a reference to the wing cup in Super Mario 64 which allows Mario to fly mario 64 is a great game by the way I highly recommend it to you guys the next easter egg will only occur if you go into your minecraft directory and delete the splashes dot text file from your game this results in the splash text on the title screen are being changed to say missing known now the missing no splash is actually a reference to the famous missing no glitch in Pokemon where H of events leads to an impossible Pokemon appearing and this Pokemon is of course called missing no now this next one is not officially an easter egg but it is very close in my opinion so the appearance of the creeper actually have a striking resemblance to the buzz plot enemy from The Legend of Zelda games and they also behave quite similar in the way they approach the player as well I don't know it's very likely a coincidence as the creeper was of course created by mistake anyway but these mobs do look very similar however following on from the last Easter Egg there is actually an enemy in the Zelda games known as the electric spas blob which is actually a different variant of the normal buzz blob and you can see that it just has a different shade of green it also has electric around its body which is very similar to the charged creeper don't you think so Zelda have two types of buzz blobs and minecraft have two types of creepers on the 31st of October each year on Halloween the only splash screen that will be displayed is spooky now as well as the spooky text that there is also an easter egg on Halloween where both are zombies and skeletons have a chance to spawn with pumpkins or jack-o'-lanterns on their heads this makes zombies and skeletons a lot more dangerous on Halloween as they cannot burn during the daytime how they can see are those pumpkins it's just beyond me honestly but anyways moving on and there is an Easter Egg with the new launcher we're hovering over the play button will actually cause a random mob to appear there is a 1 in 10,000 chance that the Minecraft logo on the title screen of the game will show the word mince raft instead of Minecraft now it's very likely that you guys have encountered this Easter Egg at least once but it's very hard to spot so the next Easter Egg we have on our list is all to do with one of the music discs in Minecraft and that music disc is music disc 11 so when music disc 11 is ran through a spectrogram an image is created now several theories for this image exist but the most popular is that the image depicts the default player head for Steve and I have to agree it does look a lot like Steve however others have said that the face resembles hairbrained but let me know what you guys think in the comments below do you think it's Steve or Hera Bruyne now this next a Minecraft Easter Egg is actually found within another game but I think it should be included anyway now if you are a fan of the game terraria or terraria you can actually get a creeper costume from the goodie bags during Halloween now this next minecraft Easter Egg is to do with a Canadian record producer deadmau5 now deadmau5 actually owns a Minecraft account and Mojang actually gave him some extra of vanity items for his skin so as you can see he has ears that go beyond the limits of the Hat layer on the skin and his nametag actually had to be pushed 10 pixels higher to go on top of his ears which i think is very awesome the next easter egg on the list that is found within minecraft is a reference to the first portal gameboy foul so there is an achievement you can get in Minecraft when you craft a cake and it's called the lie which is actually a reference to the phrase that the cake is a lie in Portal okay so we're now on Easter Egg number 15 if you guys have made it this far to the video then make sure to give this video a like and be sure splash texts on the title screen will be replaced with a merry xmas splash also during Christmas time there is an Easter Egg where all the Chester textures are replaced by present textures which look absolutely beautiful this includes both a single chests and double chests each with their own different present texture the next Easter Egg is an item that can be crafted in game now this item is a banner that can be made from an enchanted Golden Apple a banner and any color of dye this crafting recipe is for a special banner that will show the Mojang logo on it and it is also labeled thing in your inventory moving on to the next Easter Egg in the game if you look closely at the chiseled sandstone you will see a very familiar face and yep it's a creeper face also if you look at the red variant of the chiseled sandstone you'll see a very dangerous mob chiseled into the block and that is of course the wither boss another splash screen that made a rare appearance on the title screen was when it was notch's birthday and not if you don't know was the creator of Minecraft so every year on the 1st of June the only splash text that would display on the title screen was happy birthday not however since knotch left Mojang in 2013 it was removed from the splashes another cool easter egg was actually to do with not Jim cell so when notches minecraft profile would die in game he would actually drop an additional apple upon death as well as his normal inventory which is definitely very interesting however this easter egg no longer works as it was removed from the game but it wasn't really said why it could have been on purpose or just perhaps an oversight but I kind of think it was removed due to the fact that not left Mojang in 2013 on the pc edition of minecraft there is a small easter egg on the launcher so if you look very closely at the top-left part of the launcher you can see that there is a small detail which is indeed a creeper face when fishing in your Minecraft world there is a chance to catch a leather boot instead of a fear this is a throwback Easter egg reference to the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess in which you can get an old boots from fishing now the next Easter egg of reference on our list is all to do with the killer bunny now this evil bonnie is hostile to all players and it's actually a reference to the kill of rapids from the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail the next flash Easter Egg shows only when the new year starts and the splash will say Happy New Year this next Easter egg was actually in the game back in 2011 on April Fool's Day the log chest was a naturally spawning chest that when clicked on would give you the message saying you need a Steve Coe supply crate key to open it this concept is a reference to the Team Fortress 2 items op system where you can pick up an item while playing another Easter Egg in Minecraft is hidden within the Guardian texture so if you open up the Guardian texture file you will notice that you can see the word Jeb hidden on the texture the name is added to an unused part of the texture so you won't see it in-game but it's still cool to see that jet has added his own signature to
