2023 Tesla Model Y Review With All New Updates

don't miss out on our next Edition today we will be reviewing the Tesla Model  y the model Y is arguably the best-selling   60 in 3.5 seconds a top speed of 155 miles per  hour can go over 330 miles on a single charge   let's look at styling the front has this really  neat and clean design perfected with the new   Quicksilver color one very significant change for  this year is the fact that there are no ultrasonic   sensors the car will now completely rely on  Tesla Vision system for autopilot using all   the cameras around the car which means Tesla  will be using cameras for parking sensors the   headlights have been completely redesigned the  vehicle now has Matrix LED headlights the fog   lights are all LED and serve as a turn signal  up front giving this car a really beautiful look   foreign has made some improvements with  the cameras looking at this camera here   on the front fender it's rumored to  be 5 megapixels instead of the 1.5   megapixel it had as the camera lens is  now bigger compared to previous models here we have this camera on the driver's side  door pillar which has reportedly increased   in pixels as well up here on the windshield  Tesla has added some cameras here since Tesla   is switching completely to their Vision system  this camera's enhanced autopilot or self-driving   beta capabilities foreign glass Tesla has used  double laminated glass on this front side window   resulting in a wider window these also Aid in  the cancellation of exterior noises resulting   in a quieter electric vehicle experience then we  have black door handles with power folding mirrors the car's build quality is incredible there   are no panel gaps issues just a  Flawless work of art and beauty on the wheels the front wheels are 255  35 r21 Pirelli p0s and the back wheels   are the same these tires are designed for  maximum performance we have these massive   red carbon ceramic brakes followed by the  Tesla logo in the center of the wheels   for the prices the performance model is priced at  fifty eight thousand nine hundred ninety dollars   while the long range model is sold for fifty four  thousand nine hundred ninety dollars for eligible   buyers the new model 3 and model y Vehicles  qualify for a federal tax credit of seven   thousand five hundred dollars this credit is valid  for deliveries until March twenty twenty three okay guys let's move to the back here it has a  very huge beautiful look at the back the tail   lights are also LED turn signal reverse light all  LED this rear carbon fiber spoiler really looks   great on this new Quicksilver color then there's  this dual motor badge here indicating that this is   the performance model y making the car stand  out we have two LED lights here as well as a   rear camera with increased megapixels there is  a button below here to open the trunk or you can   open it from the screen inside the car the trunk  now comes with this cargo cover which is very   nice and well engineered and is magnetized and  easily removable just like in the model S plaid you get 854 liters of storage space in here  and folding down the rear seats with these   two buttons gives you a total of 2158  liters as you can see there are a lot   more storage spaces under here so you  have a lot of storage space back here to close the trunk use the power tailgate or  press the button on the screen inside the car your charging port on the side here to charge  point the connector at your charging port and   press here to open it or press on the charge port  door itself this Tesla T glows white when your car   is ready to charge plug in the connector firmly  and the T will pulse green when charging begins to unplug press and hold the  connector button then remove   the connector when the t turns white your  charge port door will automatically close foreign the frunk comes with 117 liters of  storage space you know if you want to buy   groceries and prove that your car doesn't  have an engine like a traditional gas car   just open this front and put them in  or put your little suitcases as well let's take a look inside reach out with your  outer hand press here with your thumb and pull   the handle to open the door we walk into this very  clean elegant and beautiful interior with black   vegan seats made of sustainable materials that  are very soft and comfortable to touch and sit on   Tesla has now installed carpet on  this floor which is nice you have   40 inches of leg room from here which  is extremely comfortable then there's   your rear air vent with two additional USBC  controls for your kids or rear passengers when you fold this down you get an armrest with  two cup holders the car has an all glass roof   which gives the interior a light and Airy feel  the model y center console has been changed to   this lovely design giving it a much cleaner look  as you can see the large panels or wood on the   sides of the doors have been replaced by this  very small piece of wood that extends from the   dash in this new interior these buttons are now  matte finish on the doors and they even show you   a little diagram to press if you want to get out  of the car you also have this carpet on the inside   of the door cards which is a high quality feature  here you have door speakers in which this car has   about 13 speakers including a subwoofer and an  amplifier one thing I noticed is that Plastics   have been replaced by Soft carpet which is all  over this car giving the car a more premium look [Music] the steering wheel has been improved  it feels soft and more comfortable it can be   heated and comes with these two control buttons to  control the car and can also give voice commands   just by pushing one of these controls and saying  what you want to say it also has this built-in   wireless phone charger to charge your phone  wirelessly and then we have this sliding tray   with more storage and a USB port we also have  these two cup holders here this is where the   armrest is located and opens up to provide more  storage space making the center console roomy and   Airy the car comes with a 128 gigabytes USB port  the USB port has now been moved to the glove box there is a camera up here on this rear view mirror   let's look at the main screen in the model y  almost every function is controlled by this large   infotainment display this display shows everything  from the climate control to the speedometer the   screen is powered by the new AMD ryzen chip  which allows it to respond more quickly and   to be more user-friendly I'll go over some of the  new features that have been added to the screen everything from driving to autopilot to climate  controls is accessed from here this vehicle has   numerous entertainment features including the  ability to stream Netflix YouTube Disney plus   twitch Hulu sportify and more the model y  comes with video games perfect for killing   time while waiting for the battery to  charge at the public charging station   don't worry drivers are locked out of using  these distractions while the vehicle is moving   one of my favorite new features in the car is  Apple music Apple music allows you to stream   over 100 million songs select any album and  play any song tap the Apple music icon in your   application launcher to access Apple music  scan the QR code with your smartphone and   sign in with your Apple ID to access Apple  music you must have premium connectivity another exciting feature is the Zoom app which  was announced at the recent zoomtopia event that   it will be available in all Teslas this means  that Tesla owners can now hold video conferences   in the comfort of their vehicles and students  can attend online classes in their test lists okay guys let me walk you through  some of the most important functions   in this car basically how to use the  Tesla Model y so please pay attention open the door by reaching with your outer   hand pressing here with your  thumb and pulling the handle press here when you want to get out your phone  is the key to your car it's call phone key once   phone key is set up your car will automatically  unlock as you pull the door handle power on for   driving when you press the brake pedal and  lock as you walk away you just need to have   your phone with you with Bluetooth on your  car also comes with these backup keycards   which you can use if your phone dies or  if you want to hand your car to a valet you should always keep one with you wherever  you keep your driver's license press it against   the driver's side door pillar below  the camera to lock or unlock your car place it behind the cup holders and then press  the brake to power on your car for driving   to set up phone key use one of  your backup key cards make sure   your phone's Bluetooth is on open the  Tesla app and then follow the prompts phonekey communicates wirelessly with your  car via Bluetooth so your phone can function   as the key even when there is no cellular  connectivity when you press the brake these   icons light up and your drive modes appear  indicating that your car is ready to drive   as you walk away from your car the signals  flash and your mirrors fold indicating that   it has been locked open the Tesla app if you'd  like to use phonekey to manually control locks   trunks or your charge port over Bluetooth  this is in addition to the span of other   app controls that use the internet  connections of your phone and your car   click here to open your controls menu where you  can manage a variety of features and settings tap   to create your driver profile so you can get  comfortable and save your preferences [Music]   reach down to the side of your seat to adjust  its position and lumbar support adjust the   steering wheel by selecting it on the touch  screen and then using the left scroll wheel tap mirrors and use the same left scroll  wheel to adjust each side view mirror   finally tap to save these settings to your profile  many other settings are also saved to your driver   profile ensuring that your car remains exactly as  you like it even if you are not the only driver   you can link your profile to your phone key and  your car will automatically adjust to you as   you open the door to drive simply buckle up with  your phone key in the car press the brake pedal   and then reach to the drive Stock press firmly  up for reverse and then firmly down for Drive pressing the button on the end of  the stock to put your car in park you can get out of your car once it  is in park there is nothing to turn   off your car Powers down once  you get out and close the doors   press your turn signal stock  lightly up or down for three flashes press it all the way up or down to fully engage  your signal unlike most other vehicles the stock   returns to its original position while your signal  is activated a significant change in steering   angle disables the signal to manually disengage  it lightly press the stock in either direction   pull the turn signal stock toward you  to flash your high beam headlights and away from you in order to turn on your high  beams when you activate Auto high beams from   the touch screen your car will automatically dim  the headlights when oncoming traffic is detected turn signal stock to wipe the windshield 1   or controls on the on the screen wiper  speeds here or leave them on auto press and hold the wider  button to wash the windshield your car has regenerative braking which  means that as you lift your foot off the   accelerator it will slow down while  recapturing and returning energy to   the battery pack it may take a few drives to  get used to but it maximizes efficiency and   control ultimately making driving easier as  you ease off the accelerator at low speeds   your car will also apply the traditional  brakes to bring you to a gentle stop and   hold you there this allows for stop and go  driving using only the accelerator pedal of   course as with any other car press the brake  pedal when you need to decelerate rapidly to charge point the connector at your  charging port and press here to open it   or press on the charge port door itself this  Tesla T glows white when your car is ready   to charge plug in the connector firmly and  the T will pulse green when charging begins to unplug press and
