2023 Must Have Accessories for New Model Y Owners! #tesla #2023

hey guys Paul here welcome back to the channel I just picked up this 2023 Tesla Model y long range last week I think this is would be a great opportunity for me to show you what are the best and must have accessories for new owners like me and you on the Tesla Model y long range and today I'll show you all the must-have accessories for this model Y and some quick installation guide if some of the accessories need the installation and then I'll put the link for each accessories in the description down below and also special discount code for you let's go foreign so the first thing that I got for my Tesla Model y are these are with the flaw Mass from two rows These are 3D Styles format really really comfortable and durable I had the same floor mat on my Tesla Model 3 so I've been using it for a year now which is awesome that's why I'm getting the same thing for my Tesla Model y these carpeted formats came with the car but I think everyone knows they really really really hard to clean and really easy to get dirty I only use the car for like two days and look at the mess and those are not easy to clean that's why I'm getting it all with the fly mat for my car okay let me show you a closer look of the material it's like a really comfortable kitchen full material with easy to clean texture and good grip for your shoes when you drive or you'll sit on I got these six set so complete set for my Tesla Model y so the two in the front rear seat cargo mat and this would go underneath the cargo and this is for the front trunk or the front let me install them real quick and I'll show you how they look in my model y aside from the front first as you can see they're designed it to fit perfectly so this is 2023 so this should fit the 2020 I believe up to 2023 it fits perfectly and offers Extra Protection and easy to clean when you make a mess in your front all right let's go inside let's check out the front driver space for this really really nice I had this for over a year now on my model 3 and and this is awesome formats really affordable um and it's really easy to clean offer quite good grips on your shoes check out the rest check out the rear passenger seats here you go fits really really well cleaning with the small vacuums is a breeze so much easier than that including competent floor mats check out the passenger seat real quick we'll come back to the trunk see here really nice check out the trunk so it has like a divider in the middle here so when you want to open their stories on the bottom really easy to open it and as you can see here um there's another piece on the bottom storage space so any mess you make even bottom here up here is really really easy to clean and now my car on the interior as well um protected with this awesome always the floor mats alright let's go to the next accessory the second accessory that I would get for my motorwire repeat this screen protector with easy guided template so it's really easy to install and this is a tempered glass and I choose the glass one I'm not a big fan of matte look on my display so this will help protect your main display remember both Tesla Model y model 3 only has one main display and this display unit control pretty much everything in the car so I think it's really important to protect that display now let me show you how to install this screen protector so these came with inside the box of the screen protector from hand show pretty much the template and then the tempered glass screen protector itself underneath the template and then the squeegee and the screen protector accessories probably for cleaning your screen before installing it okay so before we start even cleaning and prepping the display first you have to go to um the main menu right there and then go to display and then press um screen clean mode there so inside there's a cleaning cloth and then the sticker guides and two packages of alcohol wipes use the included alcohol wipes to clean the display first and let it dry a little bit now use the clean cloth that came with it to clean again before we apply the screen protector then as you can see the sticker here now remove the clear plastic from the back of the template okay and when you flip make sure this is the top part and this is the bottom and then just apply straight on the display next you just need to press down and slide down all the way across from top to bottom in the angle multiple times and then wait 30 seconds and we can remove the top template out make sure use the cloth and then press that one the inside here too make sure the whole screen attach and I mean a whole screen protector attached to the screen and we just need to remove this sticker last step we just need to remove out the template that's it you can use the included adjusting tape to pull this way out a little bit and then use a squeegee to get all the air out that's it so the next must-have accessory would be mud flaps I got these from Test Plus you can check them out testfloss.com they have a lot of awesome accessories I got a few from taste plus actually let's um check out the must flap first so this is something really easy to install yourself so in the box came with the two front mud flap let me show you why you probably only need two fronts and the tools that you need just use the included tools and remove the plastic tab that's there two okay so when you install the flap uh make sure these two hooks right here I'll show you real quick so this tool hook right here um clip onto the side um in there we wheel well plastic trim first you can set it in like that and then make sure he matches the whole and then use the included plastic tabs because these are longer than the OEM one so you need a little bit longer tabs because you increase the thickness on here there you go that's it really really simple to install and then just pretty much do the same thing on the other side so the installation is done really quick installation um the reason I like the mud flour from Test Plus is that it's really minimal small compact but effective so it has the guard on the side right here and also on the bottom so why do you need the Matlab for the front you probably pretty much need the front only so it protects from the small rocks and and dirt to get on the side of your vehicles when you drive in the high speed especially the previous speed so you're less likely to get the rock chips on the side of your car and the next accessories I also got them from test plus I got a few things from Test Plus here because they have they offer such awesome selections and quality for your Tesla so these are really comfortable seat your headrest pillow it's really nice comfortable material let me put them on and show you what it looks like and how it feels you'll hear what they look like after I installed it and I'm out of Y this neck pillow from taste Flats definitely offered that extra mix support for a long trip or even for someone that come out a lot daily this is definitely helped me with a long road trip in this Tesla Model y this is awesome accessory to have for sure another accessory that I got from Test Plus are these really cool wheel covers for Tesla Model y 19 inch Gemini Wheels let me show you how to install this real quick it's really easy to install and uninstall the original rear covers and then show you at the end what it looks like on my model y to uninstall the original wheel covers on model Y is really simple just grab on one of this spoke and then pull it towards yourself one two three four that's it um if it's hard to pull just make sure you go one by one on the next spoke now let's install uh test bus wheel covers before we install the wheel covers make sure you apply the included protective foam tapes that came in the package first to install the test Flash wheel covers really really easy to do first just indicate the the valve stump where you you know feel the air on your original wheels and then of course the cutout file stem on the wheel cover up and then it's located on the wheels place it on and then just pump them right in that's it really simple to do yeah this so this is compared side by side that's the new wheel covers and that is original wheel covers from Tesla I was never a big fan of that so this is a must for me to change after I got the car looks so much better than the original one foreign [Applause] [Music] model y after you purchase the car as this CCS adapter I also got this CCS adapter from test plus this is awesome things to have in your car because when you are on the road trip or just daily commute or you going somewhere with you know Tesla Supercharger you can use this adapter on any other brands of charging station and this is basically the same as Tesla original CCS adapter it could charge up to 250 kilowatt and it's just much cheaper than you getting from Tesla next accessory is probably the best wireless charger that you can buy for your Tesla Model y this is wireless charger for Tesla more 3n model y from Mac back and this is also a Max save compatible all right let me show you what comes in the box and then quick installation guide and see how it works so Mac back not only offers an awesome charger for Tesla Model 3 and model y they're actually known for a high quality iPhone and Android phone cases like this phone case that I have for my iPhone 11 Pro it's really awesome it has magnet in the back so you can stick on this charger also they even offer this awesome wallet it's magnetic so it sticks in the back of your phone it's really flat so you can put cards and money in there and it could even become a stand for your phone to install the Mac back wireless phone charger it's really easy and simple to do first use the included alcohol wipe to clean off the top left hand corner on your screen in the back area now we wait until it's dry then we move the adhesive cover from the wireless charger after that you align it to the corner before you put any pressure on make sure it's sticked to the corner just like that now hold it for about 30 seconds make sure it sticks really well and then the mounting installation is done really simple next just run the power cable down the rear of the screen and then I would tuck it in on the side trim right here so you can hide the cable all the way down here and then go up last but not least just plug the USBC to the included 12 volt plug and then plug into your 12 volt socket in the sensor console that's it it's done I love the ecstatic looks of this Mac Bag wireless charger for your phone because it Blends in with the rest of the interior design of both Moto 3 and model y actually I had this on my model 3 since I believe June last year and it was the best wireless charger I ever had so I really have to buy for my Moto Y2 the reason I like this charger so much because first it looks really good in the car it looks like it belongs here second it's magnetic so you have a iPhone 12 or newer you don't need the case it will just stick on there but my phone is 11 Pro so it needs MacBook case which is really awesome case it has the magnet inside so I can put this case on anywhere with the metal surface it will stick on it and second if I charge this here on the bottom while this charger here so about eight out of 10 times when I leave the car I usually forget it and leave my phone right here but when I have my phone charging on Mac back wireless charger right here I always see the phones here so before I leave the car I just grab it and then go it's so much easier so much more convenient also when I want to read the text I can just you know move my face and then it will just unlock the phone because it's in a perfect position to read the face ID also I can easily use it to do a face time I'm not recommend do it while you're driving but but let's say if you really have to answer that first time while you're driving you can do it from right here and it can do both vertical and horizontal this is probably the best wireless charger for your moto y next are some interior upgrade accessories from Halo black Halo black are really new to um Tesla accessories my first impressions on their products are their packagings are really really cool and great design so hopefully the products inside match the quality of the packaging so these are cup holder and aluminum foot pedals cover this performance style and also send the console organizer tray now let's open the inside so this is the inside the packaging each one actually came with this really cool sketch design for each product so this is awesome this is something I never seen before included in with Tesla accessories and this is also a sticker that came with it so let's check out the performance paddle first [Music] wow the party it's definitely top-notch I have not seen anything like this before [Applause] and same thing here with the cup holder [Music] and this is the center console organizer tray so it has to it has two layers top it's rubber and the bottom is plastic so you can just remove this top part and then wash it it's really cool design they actually have the space that you can put even glasses outside glasses on like this all right now let's put these in my Tesla Model y okay let's install the performance foot pedals first the brake paddles you have to remove the one that's already in the car it's a rubber one first you just pull tap on the side just like that and then just insert this in so start from the bottom first and then insert to the top and then just use this tab right here these four tabs to lift it open and get it in that's it looks really really good I love the design it's just really unique um nothing else like this out there in the market because normally the regular performance one would be just aluminum and then the rubber stripes down right here or I think right here on this side I like the off and on well actually um repress the brake to turn on the car but then of course same thing you can just turn off the car with the brake and um put in park and only thing that you need to remove is the original brake paddle then everything else just slip in place if it's if you have difficult time installing um any of this I would suggest putting the hot water and let the rubber behind get softened a little and then install it it'll be a lot easier and here's the cup holder from Halo black looks really really cool not only that it protects your cup holder so every time it gets dirty you just pull it off and then wash this and let's say this is your morning coffee cup you see it doesn't fit really well and when you dry we just move um you know around a lot and you might spill your coffee but with this then it stay in place see it doesn't Wiggle anymore which is awesome I also like this a little label here so it's tell you where to put your key card right there if you need the key card to activate your core which is really cool and the next one I just put in my car it is really awesome tray as you can see here I can just put my Essence glasses work there and then put the pens or Keys anything you like in here and let's say if it gets dirty for some reason you can just remove it and then just remove the silicon material tray on the top and then wash this part and you still have this underneath with a cool logo on it looks really really cool I love the overall design of this yellow black brand it's really really cool see the old design so another smart thing about this tray is that the little cutout right here so let's say you're charging your phone or charging something using that um charging port the USBC charging ports here you can have the cable through it and then still can charge your phone so this is a cup holder the tray on inside the center console and performance Foot Paddle cover next are the storages for your Tesla Model y so I got these from ultra4.com so these are the storage bins for the rear and the trunk space of your model y I'll show you how to put those in and this is for the rear of your center console so this can be a trash can or storage bin in the back and this is for behind your main touch screen display all right let's put these two in first so this is the inner part this is all silicone rubber so it protects from everything that will get your space in here dirty because it's really really hard to clean in there um so this is definitely a must for me so we just put it in like that that's it so I'm going to show you it it pretty much covers everything inside here so you don't have any dots or small rocks let's say you go to the beach you want to put your flip-flops in here and the all the sand would just stay in here and when you want to clean it just take this one out and then clean it it also came with a lid for it which matches the material of your trunk space see it looks pretty much exact the same and it has this little handle hook so you can just pull it open really really convenient so same thing on this side let's put this in okay so same thing on this side as you can see it fits this space perfectly foreign anything and not having to worry if it's gonna dirty this part which is really hard to clean now super easy to clean same thing here came with the lid that matches your material see the color the materials everything matches with this tab so pull it up close let's put your belongings in there definitely it must have and one more thing this is really um sturdy and it's highly quality it won't break easily for sure now the side star space in my model y it's all protected and one more benefit is that when you have stuff in the underneath here because of the lid now you can put something else on top of it too so it's more organized and it has a second layer to protect the stuff in the underneath it and you can put anything on the top all right now let's install this rear storage behind the display so this storage tray for a behind your display one side has the magnet part underneath it so you can put anything that's metal here so it won't bounce around when you drive really easy to install you just slide in from the back yeah which is falling place I don't think you need to stick anything to it to make it stays for example when you have let's say you go somewhere and you need to put like a parking slip on your dash you can also put it right here too as you can see from the dash and I also like to put uh my garage opener right here so it's a perfect spot so you can put anything that you want here that's like an extra storage space for you this extra storage bin for the cinder console in the back I'll show you the back real quick so it came with the tape I already installed it take a velcro material so it sticks on that carpet material in the back of the cinder console let me show you this is the back of the center console see this area over here see the fussy carpet material so this will stick on that material so this will fit perfectly in that space right there so just apply a little bit of pressure there and see it stays it's awesome designed to fit perfect on that spot so you can put anything in there you know water snacks or trash and you can have a extra tray put it here I really like the tray cover right here because passenger in the rear can just charge their phone on the back of your car and then have a space to put the phone on otherwise the phone's gonna have to be right here or you know they have to hold so that's this awesome space awesome tray and then awesome storage for the rear center console of your Tesla Model y last couple items here from the list are the tire inflators so this is the plug-in one and this is the wireless Kai let me show you the difference so the one that you plug in you have to plug it in the 12 volt socket either on the inside of your center console or the back of your Tesla Model wire let me show you where you can plug that in in the back of your Tesla Model wired on the left hand side there is a a 12 volt socket that you can plug in to get the power so that's another spot that you can plug in or if you want something a little bit more convenient you can use this Wireless tire inflator so this is not only a tire inflator you can also use as a flashlight see here or emergency light and you can also use this as a a really big power bank for your mobile device in case you need to recharge your phone or your phone is out of battery somewhere in the middle of nowhere so this is really really good things to have in your car I would prefer the wireless one because you always can charge it from your car or at home when it's out of the juice because I like the power bank function so I'll put the link of these two products in the description down below let me show you how it works with this Wireless since I don't have to plug it in foreign the limit on the PSI how high do you want it to be and I would just automatically stop for you so the reason why I think these are these shoes are really really important to have in your Tesla Model y because as most of you know Tesla do not have spare tires so if you have a leaking tires in the middle of nowhere you can just try to fill your um the air in with these mobile inflators until you know you can drive out off the freeway or get somewhere safe to have your tire fixed so this really really good things to have in the back of your trunk or you can just store it anywhere you want so that's it guys I think these are
