of the most popular Tesla has recently  made some significant upgrades to the Spotify   interface improving the overall user experience  the new Spotify UI has a cleaner more intuitive   design that's easier to navigate the  main menu options are now limited to   home browse and your library reducing the need  to scroll side to side your personal playlists   are now conveniently organized under the your  library tab overall the updates make spotify's   interface in your vehicle more visually  appealing and user-friendly here's the   release note play your Spotify music playlists  podcasts and audio books with a more familiar   look and feel go to app launcher then  Spotify requires premium connectivity foreign your vehicle now have the ability  to automatically turn on the external lights   when the windshield wipers are activated this  useful feature ensures the exterior lights come   on to help increase visibility for the driver  whenever the car detects that the wipers have   been turned on due to rain snow or other  inclement weather conditions that require   wiper use drivers no longer have to manually  turn on the headlights when driving in poor   visibility caused by bad weather as the car  can now detect wiper activity and activate   the lights accordingly here's the release  note your lights turn on automatically when   windshield wipers are activated and headlights  are set to Auto in controls lights headlights Tesla vehicles with automatic navigation  turned on will now automatically display   the next likely driving destination when  the driver first enters the car this new   feature presents the predicted upcoming trip  destination right away when the driver gets   in without needing to set it manually for  those who keep automatic navigation enabled   this saves the step of having to manually  enter or select the next location you are   likely navigating to as soon as you get  in and start the car your Tesla will now   immediately provide the next recommended  driving destination based on your habits here is the release note if you have automatic  navigation enabled in your Tesla you'll now be   presented with your suggested destination  when you enter your vehicle the pop-up on   the screen will display your destination  your ETA battery upon arrival as well as   a photo of your destination if available  you can begin driving to automatically   start the route or you can cancel the  suggested destination note you can turn   on automatic navigation by going to controls  navigation and enabling automatic navigation charge on solar Tesla is introducing a new drive  on Sunshine feature that will allow you to charge   your vehicle using excess solar energy from  solar panels on your homes the feature stores any   surplus solar energy produced during the day that  isn't used by the home so it can be used later to   charge your car this enables you to power your  car using clean renewable solar energy generated   from your own home solar array it maximizes the  use of available solar power for Tesla owners who   have both home solar panels and a Tesla car here  is the release note charge your Tesla with solar   energy if you have a power wall you can choose  how much charging comes from solar versus other   sources to set it up open the Tesla app for  your vehicle tap the charge on solar message   and follow the instructions requires powerwall  version 23.12.10 and Tesla app version 4.22.5 destination closing soon the navigation  system in your car will now indicate if   the place you are driving to is going to be  closing soon or may already be closed by the   time you get there this allows you to see  ahead of time if your intended destination   might not be open when you arrive here is  the release note navigation now shows if   your destination is closing soon or  may be closed by the time you arrive Bluetooth game controllers Tesla has expanded  the ability to use Bluetooth game controllers   when playing arcade games previously this  feature was only available in Model X and   Model S Vehicles now model Y and model 3 owners  can also connect Bluetooth controllers to play   arcade games in their vehicles this provides  an enhanced gaming experience by allowing you   to use a traditional controller rather than  the touch screen when playing games in Tesla   arcade here's the release note use Bluetooth  controllers to play games in arcade to pair   a controller open the Bluetooth panel  and follow the instructions this feature   works best with PS5 controllers refer to  the owner's manual for more information thank you daily charge limit Tesla has updated  the recommended daily maximum charge level for   some of its Vehicles based on factors like  battery type vehicle model and manufacturing   location for example if you own a model y built  in Berlin Tesla could now advise charging only to   90 on a regular basis rather than 100 percent  Tesla adjusts optimal charge levels over time   as data is collected on battery performance so  this change lowers the daily charging guidance   for some vehicles to support long-term battery  health the adjusted limit applies if you use the   schedule feature for daily charging here is the  release note the recommended daily charge level   has been updated for some Vehicles depending  on your vehicle the types of batteries it uses   and where it was manufactured Tesla may have  lowered the recommended daily charge limit Tesla has added a new feature that allows you  to have the touch screen automatically change   to warmer color tones at night this makes the  display take on more yellow orange Hues in   low light conditions rather than the usual  bright white and blue colors enabling this   setting causes the touchscreen to transition  to a night mode palette in the evening hours   which some users may find more comfortable for  their eyes at night time it provides a more   relaxing display coloration in dark environments  here's the release note set your touch screen to   automatically adjust to warmer colors at night  go to controls display then reduce blue light   foreign the Tesla mobile app now has the ability  to display multiple vehicle cameras simultaneously   when checking the car's surroundings remotely  this new feature allows you to view multiple   angles from the vehicle's cameras at the same  time on your mobile device providing expanded   visibility of the area around your Tesla having  access to multiple live camera feeds in the app   is a useful upgrade that enhances your remote View  and awareness of the vehicle's environment here is   the release note you can now see multiple cameras  at once when checking your vehicle's surroundings   to start using this feature go to your vehicle  settings and controls safety then view live camera   Via mobile app this feature requires mobile  app version 4.22.5 and premium connectivity Tesla has made an update to the HVAC system  to improve the in-car environment during   phone calls when the fan is set to auto mode  it will now automatically reduce the fan speed   while you are on a call to decrease ambient  noise this thoughtful feature aims to lower   background noise to make it easier to hear phone  conversations without having to manually adjust   the fan drivers who have struggled to reduce fan  noise during calls will appreciate this change   as it subtly optimizes the in-cabin soundscape  to prioritize call audio quality though it may   go unnoticed it's an intuitive update that  will provide a better calling experience   here is the release note when you have your  climate system set to Auto the HVAC fan speed   may be lowered automatically to reduce  cabin noise while you're on a phone call service mode improvements Tesla has expanded  its service mode diagnostic capabilities with   new tests for various vehicle components and  systems the latest service mode additions   include assessment options for the steering  wheel stocks 12 volts low voltage battery   airbags and other General vehicle diagnostics  Tesla service technicians can now run more   comprehensive inspections and troubleshooting  of these specific parts and functions through   the enhanced service software the additional  service mode testing provides improved visibility   into potential issues and facilitates faster  repairs and maintenance for Tesla owners it   allows more thorough diagnosis of problems with  Key Systems like airbags and vehicle power supply   the release note several new diagnostic screens  have been added to service mode they include the   ability to test your steering wheel stocks scroll  Wheels horn and parking brake you can now view the   status and details of your airbags low voltage  battery and the pitch of your vehicle's cameras   service mode is a mode that's typically reserved  for service technicians although it can be   accessed by anyone it is used to view information  and test various aspects of a vehicle foreign spot camera you now have the ability to  change where the blind spot camera feed   appears on your display screen you can do  this by clicking and dragging the camera   feed video to wherever you want it to be  located on the screen here is the release   note adjust the placement of your blind  spot camera on your display by dragging   the camera feed the camera feed will  appear in the same position when your   blinker is active to enable tap controls  autopilot then automatic blind than 300K lines of C plus plus   control code by approximately two orders  of magnitude it seems that Tesla intends   to depend more heavily on neural networks for  vehicle control rather than using
