okay welcome back i'm robert breaker and today we're going to start in chapter three of second peter finally we get to the last chapter we've really gone long in first and second peter but there's so much in those books so i'm glad we're able to get to the last chapter but as you can already see i want to review a little bit um it's just been such a blessing to me many people know that i graduated from the pensacola bible institute in 1998 and i learned a lot going to bible school and it's wonderful what they teach you in bible school but in bible school i was taught read your bible and study for yourself so i go through and i study and i read and get these things ready for you and these um you know always have my notes and get all these videos together because i want you to be able to study with me but i encourage you too to do your own bible study so i was going back and preparing and reading and reading and reading and this is why it's so important to read the bible the more you read the bible the more god will give you and you'll go through and you'll read the same book 5 10 15 times in the 16th 17th 18th time god will give you something you didn't see before so here we are in the last book of uh second peter and i was like well i need to go back and just read first second peter again just to remind myself of what we've already studied and boy the lord really showed me a blessing and so he showed me of just how much of a contrast the rest of the book is with chapter two and so i want to show you that contrast so just quickly we're going to review what we've already studied before we get into going verse by verse in chapter three which by the way there's a lot of doctrine in chapter three a lot we've got the gap theory we've got seven stages of the earth we've got the seven thousand years of human history i mean there's a lot to get into in second peter chapter three so i'm anxious to get into it i don't know how long it will take it might be two maybe three hour videos but we will get through it lord willing a lot of people say where are you going to next well that's a secret we'll see but anyway a second peter here's what i got as i'm going back and reading the whole thing if you go back and come on over to chapter one and just look through chapter one look at what peter is saying have grace be honorable have honor be holy and love one another simple milk sop message like i told you first peter is a lot of milk second peter is a lot more meat so first peter he's dealing with the basic doctrines of hey just learn to be a good godly christian that loves others and be nice and then you get into second peter and it's okay a little bit more meat and we get to more doctrine but he's still trying to remind you oh there's a certain way that we as christians should live you see when we talk about christianity we talk about the bible being our final authority in all matters of faith what we believe in practice how we're supposed to act on what we believe so there's a certain way that we are supposed to act and you go over to chapter two of first peter and he says now grow he talks about having abstinence when it comes to the things of the flesh don't be a fornicator don't be an adulterer when you have lust you have to abstain from those awful lusts it talks about being honest and patient then you go over there chapter three of first peter which we've already studied and he says to be meek have compassion be courteous and in well doing do well okay you start to get a theme here christians are supposed to be gentlemen and gentlewoman christians are supposed to be friendly kind nice not angry hateful bigots which is the way a lot of people the world think that christians are now there's nothing wrong with righteous indignation and that is something that we all should have we should hate sin okay god hates sin so we should hate sin but i'm saying we should love people and let that show and people should look at us and say man you are so different from the world why well because the bible tells me this is how i'm supposed to live and that's how i attempt to live now remember first peter's a lot of it is about suffering and sometimes it is suffering to be this way because it's against our nature that's why we get the holy spirit when we're safe and we're supposed to walk in the spirit because we're going against that fallen nature that we have and we're trying to follow god so you go over to chapter four of first peter and talks about being sober and having charity charity is key and hospitality are you a hospitable person when do people talk about you and go man i like that guy he's all right or do they go oh that guy yeah yeah okay so then you go to chapter five of first peter and it's all about having humility caring and things like that well then you go to second peter chapter one and in second peter chapter one peter goes now listen make sure you're a virtuous person and you're full of knowledge and temperance temperance is basically self-control have patience be godly be kind and again charity twice he uses the term charity you think that's important you bet do you have any charity i've come across people claim to be christians they're the least charitable person i've ever met it's really really sad that there are people out there that claim to be christians and all they live for is to attack and to ridicule and to mock and to put down that is not what peter says that we are to be so you're a king james bible believer are you okay if you're a king james bible believer are you a king james bible reader do you read your bible that you claim to believe and if you are are you a king james bible doer because this should be how you present yourself to the lost and dying world this is how they should see you with all these things so then we get to second peter chapter two and it's all about remember the three things that that second peter 2 was all about was about false prophets false teachers and false doctrine heresy and he takes a whole chapter 22 verses and all he does he says now the bad people are like this so basically it's a great big hey this is what you'd be like and this is what you don't be like don't be like this and this is what we looked at last time chapter 2 don't be heretical verse 1 verse 2 don't be pernicious or wicked verse 3 don't be covetous verse 4 don't be ungodly verse verse 7 don't be filthy verse 8 don't be unlawful verse 9 don't be unjust verse 10 don't be lustful and i forgot to say about verse 10 it says don't be presumptuous i forgot to write that up there i had to look up the word presumptuous and it means arrogant you know what a christians are not supposed to be like arrogant you know anybody that's arrogant that claims to be a christian there's a lot of them unfortunately verse 11 don't be accusative oh there's a lot of people out there that accuse him don't go around accusing other brothers and sisters in christ of certain things leave them alone have charity be at peace with them instead of attacking and putting them down and things like that verse 12 don't be corrupt verse 13 don't be deceitful verse 14 don't be sensual i think that shows up down there barely shows up and it doesn't stop there we go up here with the line don't be followers of evil don't be full of iniquity don't be full of sin don't be mad mad means crazy don't act crazy i've met people that claim to be christians they were just crazy they were just plum crazy the way they acted made you go i don't want to be around that guy he claims to be a christian but he's just he's he's unstable he's weird he's strange he says strange things he only lives to hurt people and not edify and put edified means build up hurting is to put down well this is what peter says is we ought to have compassion and be courteous and hospitable and loving in second peter chapter two don't be dark don't be jaded we would say today don't be vain verse 18 verse 19 don't be enslaved to something verse 20 entangled you don't need to be a busy body did you know that's what the bible calls someone like that there are people out there today that all they live for is to get involved in the affairs of other people i'm not going to get into that i've seen a lot of that lately though i've seen how certain christians can get involved some with something they have no business getting involved with and can hurt other people and even destroy other people's lives by being a busybody in other people's business getting entangled with something that they have no business getting entangled because they have no charity that's a sad thing i've seen that lately and then verse 21 22 of chapter two of second peter ends with people that are just plum filthy dirty we would say they're nasty just just nasty people and uh that's a sad thing to see but then you go to chapter three and chapter three of second peter is just like okay now all of that we're done with now let me tell you some more stuff so he goes through basically five six seven chapters of dealing with how you should live and this is how you live uh first and second peter all the way to the end of chapter one this is how you don't live second peter chapter two that whole chapter is these are the false prophets these are the false teachers these are the heretics these are the gnostics we saw these are those who use religion as an excuse to do what they do and then try to justify their sin which is wrong but a lot of people do that a lot of people say the end justifies the means so if i go do this or that or this and i know it's not right but i'm doing it for a good reason that it's okay no it's not okay you should never do certain things that you know are wrong we should be like this so now we get to second peter chapter three now i could go way more into this amen a lot more that i could go into i had written here in my notes let me real quickly quickly let me get into that you go back to first peter chapter one you can't go two verses without seeing the blood of jesus okay so clearly peter and paul got on the same page when it came to the message of the blood and uh there in um verse three he talks about being begotten we looked at last time what do we we get saved we're born again we're begotten through the gospel paul says so a lot of the things that paul preached peter picked up on now not everything i'll show you that here in a minute there are some things that peter confesses in this chapter that we're about to start chapter three in which he says there's some things that paul taught that i never really got a hold of yet but i got a hold of this and this is an important thing as a christian you need to get a hold of this this is what a true christian is supposed to act like so if you act like this then you're showing yourself as a true christian if you're acting like this then you just might be a false prophet or a false teacher or someone who is in heresy okay but in first peter we see the blood we see being begotten we see salvation mentioned in verse nine in first peter chapter one we see verse 18 and 19 the message of redemption through the blood paul's message and then in verse 25 we see the gospel in first peter chapter 2 verse 1 talks about how to live and speak verse 2 says grow up verse 11 talks about abstaining from lust okay christians have no business fornicating if you're a christian and you're living in sin fornicating that's wrong okay stop it already cut it out get married get right um abstain from lust verse 11 verse 13 of chapter 2 of first peter obey the magistrates be a lawful person there are laws in our land we're supposed to follow those laws as long as they're not against the bible or against the constitution and what more does it say here um suffer verse 19 to 23 and he mentions jesus is dying in our place for our sins verse 24 through 25 first peter chapter 3 says wives obey your husbands well that's a message a lot of ladies don't like nowadays because of feminism but in the bible when you're married and you're a christian you're supposed to obey your husband and your husband is supposed to obey god there's there's a a set up there there's an order the man is to be the one that wears the pants that is the ruler of the house and thank god there's still a lot of women in the world today that believe that but a lot of the younger women don't because they've been indoctrinated by the ways of the world rather than the bible and that's a sad thing but let me just say this you'll never be truly happy unless you're living the way god says my wife tells me all the time honey i just love you so much and i appreciate you and she is such a good wife and she wants to be a godly christian who wants to obey her husband and that's just a wonderful thing now i could use that and abuse that and be a dictator but i don't want to well that that humbles me that makes me go wow and that makes me feel like man i better do right because i sure don't want to look bad in her eyes so it it makes me want to be a better person and it helps me now it continues here in first peter chapter 3 he talks about being kind and seeking peace verses 8 through 11. in first peter 3 verse 13 he says do good verse 14 don't fear i believe that's important all of 2020 was fear porn all throughout the internet all throughout the news i can't even watch the news anymore it's all cove and kobe kobe to make you feel like so scared all the time and what did 2020 teach us that you have a 99.9 chance of not dying from covid okay sure thank god for that in that case i'm not scared i'm not going to live in fear of that but you see that's the way they try to control you is by fear well the bible says god has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind so we need to think and he continues there uh don't fear and then verse 18 jesus suffered now first peter chapter four talks about suffering verse eight talks about charity verse nine hospitality some of this i already have written up here but i just wanted to go through this again um verse 12 through 19 of first peter chapter four suffer as i go through here first peter chapter five verse five humility as i go through first peter and i'm reading through first peter i i come to the conclusion that peter is a nice meek fella he's the kind of guy that i would like to have as my friend he's a meek loving caring individual i don't think he would yell at me i don't think he'd scream at me i don't think he'd steal from me i don't think he'd lie to me he sounds like the kind of guy that i'd like to be friends with as i read through it just it comes across that peter just seems like the meekest nicest fella does he to you as you read first and second peter now in second peter chapter one again he tells you these things then in chapter two he says now don't be like these people these people were the false prophets so what were they really well let's just call them what they were because he said they would enter in they're false christians so if you come across someone who says they're a christian then you need to look and see first of all their their um testimony do they believe in the blood for salvation are they by faith alone trusting in the blood atonement of christ if they are then okay they might be saved but are they living as a christian that's the question you can be saved but be backslidden you shouldn't but you could be so it's like peter is saying the difference between a true christian and a false christian that might have gone off the screen that says true right there true christian this says false this is what the false christians are like many of them become false prophets and false teachers and fall into heresy and it all begins with their lifestyle the way they live determines what they preach with their mouth isn't that an interesting thing to think about so think about the way that you live i want to live right and i want to do right but i also want to preach right you know i could be in a bar every night getting drunk and going home with different women and still be up here every week in front of this board and teaching you and you would never know that i could do that but i don't ever want to do that because i don't want to sin i want to be this kind of person up here not that one down there so that's why i don't do those things because i want to follow the bible but if i did you would see it you would see if i was living in sin you'd probably see me not teaching right you probably see me cutting corner see part of this is the more you live for christ the more you're in the spirit and the more power god is is able to use through you because you're walking in the spirit of living a holy life but the more you're in the flesh the more you aren't used of god see give god your all and he can use you more that's what i'm trying to say so with all that said let's go to um second peter chapter three and let me ask you this do you see the contrast i saw it i was back reading um first and second peter before i came up here and i just said man what a drastic contrast between first peter and chapter two of second peter there's a it's like peter is saying this is what you ought to be like this is what the bad people among us are like who are starting to teach false things and don't be like them be like i just i just see now first and second peter as a great big contrast of this is what you should do this is what you shouldn't do and it's just like wow you know so thank god for reading the bible and going through it again and again seeing new things as you go through so this is what i want to be i want i want to be this type of christian i don't want to be that i don't want to be a false teacher i don't want to be a false uh preacher i don't want to be someone who's in heresy now some of my enemies will say well you're already a nursery rhyme breaker and that's fine you know there's little doctrines that aren't important but then there's the ones that are and so if you don't believe same way i do on some non-essential not important doctrines then help yourself we don't have to agree 100 on everything but we need to agree on the blood the book and the blessed hope at least and then we need to agree on certain other key things like living a true christian lifestyle instead of doing these things down here okay so which one are you now that you see the contrast let me ask you this which one are you are you this one up here are you more like this one down here well then maybe you need to get right with god maybe you need to read your bible more maybe you need to say lord i'm not the kind of christian i need to be help me to be a better christian okay so this is the context he's showing you one type and another and making a contrast between true christians and false christians between true bible believers and false prophets okay now now we get to chapter three and he's speaking his last words remember this would be the last book that peter writes and he probably is going to die very shortly after he writes this book and so this would be some of the last things that he said well the last words of somebody are important so these would be the last words that were written down so these are the last things we have to remember peter bye and boy what an amazing thing he's telling us my my counsel to you as i'm about to check out they killed peter i don't remember i think it was in the fox's book of martyrs that they killed him by crucifying him upside down on a cross if i remember right but his life is live like this not like this okay so will you listen to peter so second peter chapter three verse one boy we've gone 20 minutes we haven't even got into the text yet but i wanted to review i wanted you to see that because it really brings in view what we already studied was just a great big contrast between this kind of people and this kind of people now which one are you and now it gets into some heavy doctrine and we might get into some of that today we'll see so second peter chapter three verse one this second epistle beloved i now write unto you i read that and it kind of it kind of seems out of place a little bit i'm like what what it almost sounds like it's a new thought or even a new book some people have theorized that there were actually three epistles of peter and not two well so we have first and second peter in the bible well they say well just chapter one and two that was a separate one and then somebody found the very last one and then they just put it together with second peter so there were really three epistles of peter it's what some people theorize but that just sounds so funny to me can you imagine if it ended right there and then we started in third peter that just it just sounds turn with me into the book of third peter it just it just has a weird ring to it doesn't it it just doesn't sound kind of hurts your ears let's go to the book of third peter i don't know why it sounds so funny but it just sounds weird third peter i don't now first second third john third john doesn't sound funny but third peter just sounds hilarious for some reason so um it's in here now if we did have a third peter there'd be 67 books in the bible instead of 66 and i think god gave us 66 books in the bible because in the old testament in the tabernacle there was a table of showbread and they were stacked six and six they were a type of our bible old testament new testament six and six sixty 66 well 66 books of the bible the bible is our bread our daily bread that we're supposed to eat so god gave it to us the way he wanted us to have it but it's just it's odd house verse one starts out now the second epistle now it's almost like you say now i'm writing a different epistle but it's contained in this one so some people theorize it's a completely different one okay because a lot of what he says doesn't really tie in with what he just said in chapter two but then again some does as we go through you'll see it i don't believe in that idea that it was completely different i think that basically chapter one and two are his introduction and he says now here's what i really want to get to so this is really the most important part as this is the strongest doctrine this is the meat rather than just the milk because he really went long giving us some milk so in chapter three and verse one the second epistle beloved i now write unto you in both which i stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance now there's a colon there and a sentence doesn't actually end until the end of verse four so let me read all the way down to verse four then we'll come back the second epistle beloved now right i unto you in both which i stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of the commandment of us the apostles of the lord and savior knowing this first that there shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lusts and saying where is the promise of his coming for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation all right we'll stop there in verse four but going back notice he mentions to stir up your mind verse one and then verse two be mindful of something so there's there's the mind and there's the heart salvation is not just believing in your head salvation is believing with all your heart now after you're saved there's some things in your mind that need to be there and oftentimes sure is the world we forget so remembering is important we need to be told over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again or will forget and that's basically what he's been doing in second peter chapter one he reminded you of all that he said in his first epistle and five chapters it's kind of like a review of remember this so he's saying remember this is how you live remember and so he almost retells now this is how you live now let me give you some doctrine so there are some things that we as christians should remember the word remembrance is mentioned four times let's look at that second peter chapter one and verse twelve wherefore i will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things though you know them and be established in the present truth so you might know it now but it's easy to forget so it's always important to remember so that's the first time he says to remember put you in remembrance now second peter 1 13 yeah i think it mean as long as i am in this tabernacle to stir you up by putting you in remembrance verse 15 moreover i will endeavor that you may be able after my deceased to have these things always in remembrance so that kind of ties us together remember i told you that chapter two is almost like a parenthetical chapter it's like it's just like that whole chapter is about bad people don't be like that so if you take that out as though it was parentheses and you put it together chapter one several times it says put you in remembrance here we have last chapter i want you to remember so it is all there so i believe in just a second peter i don't believe in a third peter okay but i just wanted to throw that out because i just like to say third peter it just sounds so funny okay but anyway so back to ii peter he wants to stir up our minds by way of remembrance verse 1. so there are some things that we should remember now again whenever peter says something i always look in paul because i want to take peter and what he says and apply it to me but i can only apply it when it is with what paul says okay and so far pretty much everything that peter said is in agreement with paul now there's a couple things that kind of sounds like and remember i told you that it can have a double application there are some things in first peter that sound like he's writing more to jews in the tribulation than he is to us okay but uh look at hebrews chapter 10 and verse 32. here is paul again i believe paul wrote the book of hebrews why because you can't read the book of hebrews without seeing what it is all about the first something like eight chapters is all about who jesus is and the last chapters are all about what jesus did he's the sacrifice it is his blood that gives us eternal salvation eternal redemption eternal life paul was the one that gave the message of what jesus did so i see the who and the what message in the book of hebrews go and do my uh verse by verse bible study through the book of hebrews also look up the video i did in youtube entitled who wrote the book of hebrews you'll see i firmly believe that hebrews was written first by the apostle paul and it was the first book he wrote before he started going more to gentiles and it just makes sense it just makes it all fall in place it opens your bible when you understand that sadly there's some people out there kind of like this crowd that doesn't believe that paul wrote the book of hebrews well you got a problem because at the end of the book of hebrews look what it says the very very end of the book of hebrews chapter 13 know you that our brother timothy is set at liberty grace be with you all amen it says so verse 23 and then down to verse 25 and it says they italy salute you implying that whoever wrote this book was in italy so i believe chapter 13 was tacked on to the book by paul in the end of his ministry and wanting people to read it because it gives you the who versus what message and that's important but it ends with grace be with you all amen that's how paul ended all of his epistles so i don't see how you can deny that hebrews was written by paul the apostle now hebrews chapter 10 and look at what it says here in hebrews chapter 10 and verse 32 but call to remembrance the former days in which after you were illuminated you endured a great fight of afflictions partly whilst you were made a gazing stock both by reproaches and afflictions and partly whilst ye became commanders of them that were so used okay and i could go on and on but here paul sounds just like peter remembrance well i just showed you peter uses remembrance and then what is the context reproaches and afflictions suffering what is the context of first peter suffering so there's a lot of suffering going on and the audience of both peter and paul were saved christians and so many of which were jews and a book of hebrews of course he was writing more to jews so go back to uh second peter and uh we'll start there in chapter three here in a second but go to acts let's let's go over to actually i want to show you a couple more places where the apostles talk about remember and how important it is to remember okay go to uh acts chapter 20 and verse 31. here's paul again reminding us of something and that is important we need to be reminded okay and back in second peter 3 he says that you be mindful of the words which were spoken before of the holy prophets well that was old testament and of the commandment of us the apostles of the lord and savior well paul was an apostle as well as peter so in acts chapter 20 and verse 31 therefore watch and remember okay what i'm doing i'm just running some verses that talk about remembering and some things that we should remember and how peter says remember paul says remember why do you think peter and paul were telling people to remember some things because jesus said remember and oftentimes they would remember some things that jesus said they said oh jesus said to remember so i'm going to tell you to remember because you don't need to remember and these are the things to remember okay and we're going to look at jesus words here in a second but in acts chapter 20 and verse 31 therefore watch and remember that by the space of three years i cease not to warn everyone night and day with tears actually let's read verse 32 and now brethren i commend you to god into the word of his grace which is able to build you up that's edification edifying and give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified now let's go to the book of uh john chapter 15 and let's look at jesus's words because peter is saying hey there's some things you need to remember paul is saying hey there's some things to remember don't forget see today in which we live in we live in a day and age of guess what it's called apostasy an apostasy is a falling away from truth why would people fall away because they forget we don't want to forget so i want to stick with what the bible says and not forget okay so that's why it's so important important to remember then you won't fall away into apostasy now john chapter 15 and verse 20 jesus christ says remember the word that i said unto you the servant is not greater than his lord if they had persecuted me they will also persecute you if and then he continues there so isn't that weird that when they talk about remember seems like the context is a lot of times remember suffering remember the persecution remember that if you're a true christian you will be persecuted by this crowd because this crowd joins with the world so they don't get persecuted the more you're like this the more you're like the world and the less persecution you'll get from the world because you've gone over to the way of the world but the more you separate and that's what the word holy means it means to be separate set apart the more you separate from the world the more persecution you will get john 16 4 jesus says john 16 4 but these things have i told you that when the time shall come you may remember that i told you of them and these things i said not unto you at the beginning because i was with you so remember peter says i want you to put you in remembrance i want you to remember some things paul says i want you to remember some things jesus says i want you to remember some things even jude look over at jude so do you think remembering is important a lot of people say oh i hate going to church it's so boring i go there and the pastor preaches the same thing all the time well maybe that's a good thing because if you didn't go you probably forget it so it's probably good to hear it over and over because we need to remember okay think about that jude 1 and verse 17 jude says but beloved remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our lord jesus christ so remember remember what remember the words of the apostles not just paul although paul is our apostle but also remember the words of the other apostles remember the words of jesus okay so back to second peter chapter three second peter chapter three and verse one and two the second epistle beloved i now write unto you in both which i stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of the commandment of us the apostles of the lord and savior so remember jesus's words and the words of the apostles and also remember the words of the old testament prophets so remember the old testament why some people today they go well you don't have to read the old testament then how we're going to remember what it says if we don't read it we're not under the old testament for salvation but in that old testament law there's a lot of prophecies that apply to jesus and the more we read the old testament we more we see those prophecies and we see them fulfilled in the new testament and it strengthens us and makes us go wow the bible is so true because it said all these things hundreds even thousands of years before and they came to pass in the time of jesus so do read the old testament it's not send read the old testament now it doesn't save us today we're not saved by reading the old testament law but it's there for a reason and it's there to tell us about jesus then we read matthew mark luke and john now we're not under matthew mark luke and john for salvation okay but that doesn't mean we can't read them i've heard some pastors say i don't even read matthew mark luke john well then how are you going to remember what happened in the time of jesus yes jesus came to the jews but some of the things jesus said were were um hints of things that were going to come some of them was prophecy of things that will come in the last days and you're telling me we shouldn't read that yes we should so we remember what jesus said then we should remember what the apostles said and especially paul now paul was an apostle and what's interesting is he was mentioned in verse 15 and 16 of second peter chapter 3. now i've been getting a lot of emails lately from people who say robert breaker paul was a false apostle he was one of these guys and he shouldn't be in the bible from now on i'll never read the books of paul they tell me and there's a lot more people like that commenting in my videos paul shouldn't be in the bible there's a movement in the world today people running around and saying paul shouldn't be in the bible isn't that interesting have you ever thought about that if paul is taken out of the bible you know what else is taken out of the bible our gospel of salvation we all might as well just go get drunk because we're all going to hell without paul because paul is in the bible for a reason now it's god using paul to give paul the gospel of salvation okay make sure i say that right sure is the world someone will take that out of context robert berger said we're all going to hell without paul uh what am i saying well let me show you some verses and show you why paul is in the bible because without paul being in the bible salvation is still by works and we're not saved by faith alone which was something that was revealed to paul for us see without paul we don't find the true gospel of salvation because paul tells us that that gospel was revealed to him so paul must be in the bible paul has to be in the bible but before we look at that let's look at what peter says about paul okay right there in chapter 3 of second peter peter says this verse 15 and account that the longsuffering of our lord is salvation even as our beloved brother paul he says we love paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you as also in all his epistles speaking in them of these things in which are some things hard to be understood which they that are unlearned and unstable rest as they do also the other scriptures unto their own destruction all right all you people out there that say paul shouldn't be in the bible then are you going to listen to peter peter says we love paul peter says that what was written by paul his epistles i'm speaking about some of the same things that he said and he says and if you're not following paul you're wrestling the scriptures to your own destruction you're not rightly dividing so don't you dare throw out paul out of the bible two-thirds of the new testament has to do with the apostle paul and the things that god revealed to us today through paul and if you take paul out well you're doing that to your own detriment so paul should be in the bible here is an endorsement of peter endorsing paul so don't you dare say paul is a false apostle it shouldn't be in the bible you don't know what you're talking about let me go to the scriptures why paul this is a great opportunity to look at why paul okay why the apostle paul go to romans chapter 15. why is paul in the bible when you understand why paul is in the bible then you understand man we need paul in the bible because jesus christ revealed to paul certain things so you have the old testament over here and the old testament is a lot of prophecy and a lot of revelations god revealing to the old testament certain things you have jesus showing up and god reveals to us certain things through jesus but then you have paul and god reveals even more to us through paul so if you take paul out of the bible all you have is old revelations but not the new ones not the ones that are for now so you're trying to go back under a different dispensation and that's not going to work you got to have paul what does paul say what is how does paul explain his ministry compared to jesus's ministry romans chapter 15 and verse 8 now i say that jesus christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of god to confirm the promises made unto the fathers so jesus christ was a minister to the circumcision and it was all about him to the circumcision coming to confirm some promises that were made now if they accepted him then he would have reigned in his kingdom right there but they rejected him and then it goes on so that the gentiles might glorify god because he was rejected by the jews god chose paul to go to the gentiles but jesus said when he showed up i came not but to the lost sheep of the house of israel so the reason god came was for israel okay now what does paul say of his ministry okay you have jesus ministry to the circumcision what is the ministry of paul romans 15 16 that i that's paul should be the minister of jesus christ to the gentiles ministering the gospel of god that the offering up of the gentiles might be acceptable being sanctified by the holy ghost so jesus came to the jews paul he says my ministry is more to gentiles now he always went to jews first i'm not hyper dispensationalist okay everywhere where he went he went to a synagogue first then when they accepted he took them with him if they didn't he went to the gentiles but jesus's ministry was to the jews and much of what jesus preaches and teaches was him speaking to jews so when you look at that you go wow well that makes sense we're under paul's ministry today did you know that romans 11 13 look what paul says romans 11 13 for i speak to you gentiles and as much as i am an apostle of the gentiles i magnify mine office so the apostle paul is just that an apostle all right back to second peter chapter three that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before of the holy prophets and of the commandment of us the apostles of the lord and savior and then he says there in verse 15 and 16 paul listen to paul who wrote some epistles so he's basically saying paul is an apostle and we endorse him and we accept him so listen to paul so if you're one of those that says we can't listen to paul paul was a false apostle he shouldn't be in the bible we'll take that out then you're not even listening to peter you might as well pull him out of the bible too because peter is saying hey listen to paul you do you see that all you people that email me and say that would you please stop emailing me because you're wrong if you say that paul was a false apostle and you're wrong to your own detriment into your own damnation remember this crowd down here are heretics that have denied the lord who died on the cross to buy them to shed his blood purchase price redemption the blood so these people are are wicked and when you go against paul you're going against the blood of christ i don't want to show that to you very very much but first let me take you to romans chapter 1 and verse 1. what does paul say of himself romans 1 1 paul a servant of jesus christ called to be an apostle separated unto the gospel of god so you're telling me that paul shouldn't be in the bible the bible's telling me that he's an apostle and i'm to follow what the apostles say so i'm not going to follow you i see you as one of these trying to lead me astray so i even more want to go to the bible and find out more about paul and why he's in the bible so let's do that let's go to the book of galatians and when you do that you see here's the problem a lot of people go to extremes there are in this world those that are called extremists going to an extreme usually will get you in trouble so these people go to extreme and say oh look over here we don't accept paul okay you just threw paul out of the bible that's very extreme that's taking out at least 14 books of the bible almost 15 because you're taking out three quarters of the book of acts if you get rid of paul so your way over here well there's people that go the other extreme say paul only none of the rest of the bible it's like you know what both of you guys went to an extreme i'm gonna be right here in the middle paul first and foremost as my apostle but i'm also gonna look at the rest of the bible and the rest of the other apostles and try to rightly divide it and line it up with the apostle paul so let's go to galatians chapter 1 and verse 11. galatians 1 11-16 paul says but i certify you brethren that the gospel which was preached to me is not after man for i neither received it of man neither was i taught it but by the revelation of jesus christ so jesus christ revealed something to paul that's what he's saying so if you get rid of paul you're getting rid of what jesus said you really don't want that revelation of jesus then you're in trouble because you're not taking the whole counsel of what jesus said jesus spoke to paul certain things and one of the things that jesus told paul was the gospel the gospel of salvation for you have heard of my conversation in time past in the jewish religion how that beyond measure i persecuted the church of god and wasted it he persecuted the church so the church must have existed before paul anyway and verse 14 and profited in the jews religion above mine many mine equals in my own nation bringing more exceeding zealous of the traditions of my fathers being more exceeding zealous of the traditions of my fathers and when it pleased god who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by his grace to reveal his son in me that i might preach him among the heathen immediately i conferred not with flesh and blood what is he saying here he's saying the gospel was given to me revealed to me by jesus and jesus separated me from my mother's womb had grace on me and jesus was going to reveal something through me and so jesus christ chose paul all right if you're one of those that says paul shouldn't be in the bible paul is a false prophet and we should never follow paul then we should never follow jesus because jesus chose paul so if you are against paul you're against jesus and you're calling jesus christ a liar because paul says jesus is the one that told me what to preach so you're telling jesus we don't accept you or what you said to paul basically is what you're doing that's sad that's that's disturbing actually if you claim to be a christian but you throw paul out that's quite disturbing let's go to first timothy chapter one first timothy 1 11 paul says according to the glorious gospel of the blessed god which was committed to my trust who committed to paul that gospel who trusted paul enough to put him in charge of the gospel verse 12 and i thank christ jesus our lord who hath enabled me for that he counted me faithful putting me into the ministry so jesus gave the gospel to paul now the gospel means good news what was the good news that jesus gave to paul that wasn't given before that wasn't it hadn't been something that wasn't preached before because peter was preaching before paul was he preaching the gospel there was something different that was revealed to paul that wasn't being preached by peter in the early book of acts now eventually peter got on board and accepted it but at the beginning the message was just get baptized in water just get baptized in water what was the message that was a little different to paul what was this gospel well if you know the gospel the gospel is first corinthians 15 1-4 how that christ died for our sins and that he was buried and that he rose again the third the third day according to the scriptures i pay careful attention to that word how because that right there explains it all how that christ died how did he die he shed his blood so i see that the message of paul is the message all about the blood atonement and i don't see peter preaching that much before i see the message of paul is the message that we're saved by grace and not of works and i don't see that preached before over here peter starts out his ministry telling people get baptized in the water well to this day people that don't accept paul will go back to peter and go to acts 2 38 and say what baptism saves you look at that go no don't you read the rest of the bible paul says believe in the lord jesus christ and thou shalt be saved saved by faith not no no they say water baptism okay well they're wrong so they don't understand that the book of acts is a transitional book and there's a change from peter to paul from jews to gentiles from israel to the church and they don't see what it was that was revealed this revelation that was revealed to paul you know what it was i'm going to just put one letter and then i'll put down the rest here in a second but let's look at this well go to uh romans 1 16 paul says this romans 1 16 for i am not ashamed of the gospel of christ for it is the power of god unto salvation to everyone that believeth to the jew first and also to the greek so the gospel is the power of god and the salvation if you want to be saved you have to come through this gospel that was given to paul now if you want to say paul is a false prophet we don't follow paul you take paul out of the bible then you've missed the gospel that saves you which is a revelation from jesus so you're not getting the full revelation of jesus christ and you're not getting the gospel of salvation and you're going to go to hell i don't know how else to say it i don't want to be a bearer of bad news but look at romans 2 16. paul says in the day when god shall judge the secrets of men by jesus christ according to my gospel paul says someday jesus christ is going to look at the whole world and say what'd you do with that revelation that i gave to paul what did you do with the gospel that i revealed to paul did you accept it or did you reject it because i told you that was the power of god unto salvation that's how to be saved if you rejected paul then you rejected that message you're not saved do you see that i don't want you to go to hell that's why i give you the message of paul which is the message of salvation what is the message of paul okay book of acts we've gone through verse by verse and we've studied the book of acts verse by verse and it's been fun i enjoyed it and i showed you plainly and clearly the message the early book of acts the message was acts 2 38 water baptism okay but as you continue in the book of acts you realize well that was for jews that was more for jews and god changes from water to blood and if there's a message and the messages believe it's by faith it's by believing and this all ties into what i talked about a little bit earlier the who versus what of salvation if you haven't seen my message yet on that go to the who versus the what of salvation so as you go through you see in chapter nine paul gets saved gloriously because he sees jesus and believes in who jesus is he believes the who message and he says lord he believes who the lord is time goes on and he's ordained and he's sent out from the church to go preach and he begins to preach something in acts chapter 13 and in acts 13 38-39 when paul preaches what he preaches in acts 38 and 39 of chapter 13 it causes such a big stink that they all have to get together in acts chapter 15 and talk about it and that's what acts chapter 15 is about it's one of the first councils of the early church and the question is how are we saved is it works or is it not works paul says not of works any man should boast look at acts 13 38-39 this i believe is what god revealed to paul and it's part of the gospel message that needs to be preached today acts chapter 13 38 39 be it known unto you therefore men and brethren that through this man jesus christ see paul isn't telling everybody to come to me for salvation he's saying come to jesus it's not about me paul it's about jesus christ and trusting in what he did for you so paul's message is not a message of himself he's not vain only trying to point people to him he's saying come to me because i want you to see what god revealed to me and what i want is you to come to christ but you can only come to christ through paul's gospel according to jesus christ himself through this man has preached unto you the forgiveness of sins and by him all that believe are justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of moses so justification by faith you are just defied i like to break that word up just if i'd justified you have forgiveness he says your forgiveness comes through faith or believing in what jesus did for you not what you do so it's what jesus did that we get saved by that's the message of what who jesus is was the early message in matthew mark luke and john in the early book of acts and it was all about who is jesus and that's the message of who he was and those early jews they were under the law still and they were blue and some of them believed jesus was the messiah but they said but we've got to keep the law or we'll go to hell as the book of acts transpired and continued and went on jesus in heaven said hey paul i want to show you something i'm the lamb of god which takes away the sin of the world it's not just who i am do you realize it's what i did i shed my blood for the forgiveness of the whole world and paul i want you to go tell everybody that i'm the blood atonement and that if they'll trust in in what i did for them then i will give them forgiveness of sins it's not the law anymore romans 10 4 says we're not saved by the law uh it is uh christ is the end of the law through faith by faith so we're no longer under the law so this is the message a message of justified by faith grace through faith and that's what they decided in acts chapter 15. read acts chapter 15 sometime and you'll see peter was there and peter stood up in verse 11 says we believe we're saved by faith he will actually say we believe we're saved by grace even as they what was he saying he's saying we believe that it's not works anymore that saves us it's by grace how through faith so you read first peter ii peter like we have and what's he saying he's saying through faith it's through the blood it's through the blood atonement of christ redeemed in whom we have redemption through his blood where to get that from paul where paul get it from jesus christ so don't you come to me and tell me that i have to throw out paul out of my bible and it pulls a false prophet because i only see through the bible itself and through the writings of paul that jesus christ is who saves me through faith in his blood romans 3 25. you're going to try to steal that from me what am i left with do good works and get baptized in water well then then i'm just a sinner that's all wet and i'll never get to heaven because i'm rejecting the blood of jesus to get me there i don't want that no thanks you people that reject paul would you please just leave me alone i'll see you at the judgment i would like to see you say before then though and i hope you understand the message of paul so let's go back to second peter chapter one the second epistle beloved i now write unto you in both which i stir you up your pure minds by way of remembrance that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and of the commandment of us the apostles plural of the lord and savior all right was paul an apostle of the lord savior jesus christ yes he said he was one born out of due season but he was an apostle in almost every one of his epistles says paul an apostle of jesus christ even peter says our beloved brother paul in his epistles who writes epistles apostles so paul was one of the apostles because he wrote some epistles okay now verse three knowing this verse that there shall come in the last days scoffers walking after their own lusts now this is a prophecy of the last days here we are in the last days it wasn't until about 1990 or so that everybody had a computer in their house and they had the internet and uh i find this interesting because look what it says knowing this first that there shall come the last days scoffers now what is a scoffer somebody goes around going oh you know jesus isn't coming because that's what the scoffing about well 1988 88 reasons why jesus is coming back in 88 around 1988 people started thinking man he could be coming anytime you know i know they probably thought that before but 88 was a big book put out a lot of christians were thinking man jesus is coming jesus coming jesus coming and he didn't come in 88. so they wrote another one and 89 didn't come in 93 and then so from the 80s we've been looking for jesus to come and a lot of people have unfortunately put a date on it i've never done that i've always questioned hey could it be on such a day well i hope so if not if not but i'm not going to say dogmatically on such and such a day jesus coming back that would be a false prophet and i've never done that never will but it's not wrong to question i remember when i was in bible school ruckman said i wonder if an 88 jesus comes back wouldn't that be nice i would think it would be on such and such a day and then in 1993 well that's seven years from 2000 well well i think jesus coming back in 93 perhaps i don't think he ever set a date in which he said thus saith the lord on such and such a day jesus will return now harold camping did that and that was wrong so when you say thus saith the lord on such and such a day and it doesn't happen then that's a false prophet okay that's why i've been very careful in my ministry never to say on such and such a day thus saith the lord jesus will return at the rapture i've never said that matter of fact i've made some videos about certain days questioning because a lot of people on youtube are saying what about september 23rd what about this what and in my videos i made an appointment big letters at the very beginning this in no way attempts to set the date of the rapture what am i saying i'm saying i'm not saying thus saith the lord on that day jesus will come i'm saying a lot of people are saying this is a day they think are they fingers crossed hope or the day that they hypothesize could be and this is why they're saying that and i like to talk about that i like to share look at all the things that they're bringing out wow wouldn't it be cool if on such and such a day but then it didn't happen so because of all of these things happening a lot of people today are going around going huh where is he coming aha jesus says he's coming oh he's not here yet oh and a lot of people are scoffers all they're doing is proving the bible prophecy true i find that interesting but look what it says here there are scoffers in the last days and it says walking after their own lusts so i see verse 3 as a prophecy okay i see this as a prophecy of peter in which he says in the last days two things are going to happen people are going to be scoffers and people are going to walk after their own lusts now when throughout all history has man had more access to something that could help him lust 1990s the internet started coming out and people started getting into the internet and looking at pornography and the more you look at pornography the more it makes you lust it incites you to lust i've known many pastors and it's a sad thing who got hooked on that stuff and got out of the ministry because they were looking at pornography and things like that that's a sad thing that's very sad but we're living in a day and age where this prophecy a twofold prophecy in verse three is coming to pass lots of people scoffing and saying oh where is he coming like it says there in verse four where's the promise of his coming and we're also seeing a lot of people walking after their own lusts they tell me that pornography is like everywhere now and it's very easy to see and you can get it on your phone you can get it on computer i've even seen on some of the comments some of the reasons i don't like to allow comments is a couple of times i'm going through reading my comments i don't have time to read all my comments but a couple times i go through and there's there's a link there and it says click on this link and i'm like what is that and uh it doesn't look right and what is it it's somebody showing naked people i'm like no no i gotta block this person it's so sad to me that that that stuff is everywhere and that it's allowed i think back to our ancestors our fathers our grandfathers our great-grandfathers i think in the 1800s 1700s 1600s they didn't have access to this stuff so were they as lustful back then as people are today i've always wondered about that or is this the generation that is the most lustful the most walking in their lust because they have easy access to things that incite them to lust so when i look at verse 3 i go man that sounds like a prophecy people running around saying well where is jesus and that's what they started saying in 88 when jesus didn't come back oh yeah where is he where is this coming huh began to scoff begin to laugh begin to mock oh these christians saying jesus is coming back and a lot of these people that are scoffers they're looking at pornography they're walking in their lusts so i see a double application there in verse three i think that's interesting verse four it's saying where is the promise of his coming for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation so you have these people going around going well where is jesus where is he huh where is he and a lot of these people are not only scoffers they're mocking and they're mocking and saying oh yeah jesus is coming back a lot today i see more than anything lately i see a lot of people coming and even commenting and i'm getting lots of emails people saying oh there's no rapture there's no you raps your believing people oh you crazy rapture believers there's no rapture well that would fit in this verse people who are scoffers saying oh yeah there's no rapture where's jesus coming oh he's not coming there's no rapture and so there's three theories of when the rapture will be a pre-tribulation rapture what i believe a mid-tribulation rapture which i do not believe and a post which is really the end of the tribulation rapture which i don't even understand how someone could believe that just in these last probably four or five years i've seen more and more and more and more people coming out and attacking the doctrine of the rapture something that you didn't see before i was raised in independent baptist churches of course i went to southern baptist sometimes but sometimes dad would take me to independent baths everyone believed in a pre-tribulational rapture that's one of the main doctrines last five ten fifteen years some people started coming out no we think now it's a mid-trip rapture and you go really why do you think that when we think it and they try to prove that they believe that we don't get out until the middle of the tribulation okay i don't believe that and i believe i can show you in the bible where that's wrong because you go to the book of revelation and it says the antichrist is there and then he says he continues for three and a half years well if he's going to continue three and a half then he must be there doing something before the three and a half because of seven year tribulation seven divided by two is three and a half and three and a half so that word continue in our king james bible shows me that he's there on the scene for the first three and a half as the man of sin and the last three and a half he's the son of perdition so i can't help but see but a future seven year tribulation but some people say yeah we we agree with you breaker but we go through the first three and a half years i don't see why we would because that seven year tribulation is a prophecy from the book of daniel which is a prophecy for israel and it's called in the book of jeremiah the time of jacob's trouble well the church isn't jacob so i don't know why we would go into a dispensation or a time that is for israel if we are the church so my belief is the church leaves first then the seven year tribulation okay now if you don't agree you don't agree i mean i've come across lately some other christians that say i don't agree with you on that i say what do you believe i believe in a midfield rapture oh okay look you believe whatever you want when it happens it happens and we'll all be grateful amen i don't care if it's seven years or three and a half years after i'm gone i just want to get out of here i'm so tired of this world aren't you but there are people that believe in a mid-trib or pre-trip well if you believe in a mid-trib at least we have this in common you don't believe that we can take the mark of the beast because the mark of the beast many of us believe will not be allowed to given until the last three and a half years so this will be the mark of the beast so no christian should be able to take the mark of the beast why because the bible says this let's go to revelation chapter 14. i gotta move so i can be finished here revelation chapter 14 look at what it says revelation 14 6 now notice what it says revelation 14 6 and i saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth and every nation and kindred and tongue and people saying now wait a minute here's an angel preaching a gospel galatians chapter 1 in verse 1 paul says though we are an angel from heaven preach any other gospel let him be cursed how could we be in a time period where that angel is doing that unless we could call it cursed but it's not cursed so the rapture must be first to take us out then it's okay for that angel to do it because it's a different dispensation you got to believe in dispensation are you getting a mess paul says this angel is accursed if that shows up while we're still on earth we that are the church so that must be in the tribulation that this takes place now look what it says let's see verse 7 saying with a loud voice fear god and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment has come and worship him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of waters and therefore another angel and on and on i hate to skip i got it i gotta quickly and the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any man worship the beast in his image and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of god which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb and the smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever and they have no rest day nor night who worship the beast in his image and whosoever receiveth his mark of his name no way we can go into a time period in which we could take the mark of the beast or we could lose salvation i believe firmly in eternal security once saved always safe because that was something that jesus revealed to paul and when we're saved we're sealed with the holy spirit of problems ephesians chapter 1 and verse 13. all right so i don't understand how a person could believe in the last one but yet there are many there are people out there today that say there's no rapture or they say there's no pre-trib rapture there's just a mid-trib rapture but then there are those that go to extreme and say oh there's a rapture but the rapture is not till the end of the tribulation and so you've got to endure and not take the mark of the beast all right those same men claim to be king james bible believers and believe in eternal security how can you have eternal security if you have a possibility of taking the mark of the beast you don't you could be saved as you can be you're just as saved as you can be but then if you take the mark the bible says you're damned so how on earth so somebody has their doctrine wrong i believe in a pre-tribulation rapture second corinthians 11 2 and i don't understand why more and more people are accepting what they call a post and it's not even a post it's so funny why people are accepting a post tribulation rapture when you ask them what do you mean by post-tribulation rapture you mean at the end of the tribulation that's what post would mean they said no no right before the end well then it's not a post-tribulation rapture it's a right before the end but they don't a lot of people that preach heresy they don't even name their heresy right because it doesn't make sense but they believe in a post-tribulation rapture that at the end of the tribulation the church gets raptured and you just look at that you go does not compute that means i can take the mark of the beast and lose my salvation you mean the holy spirit's not sealed in me then no your your doctrine doesn't doesn't mix second corinthians chapter 11 verse 2 for i am jealous over you with a godly jealousy for i have espoused you to one husband that i may present you as a chaste virgin to christ paul is saying to the church i have espoused you to christ your husband now i don't have time to go to ephesians chapter 5 verse 23-33 but that's talking about christ in the church and she's like the wife or the bride of christ so i firmly believe that the bride of christ is the church jesus comes back for his bride would he allow another man to mark his bride first what kind of guy goes man i can't wait to get married man i can't wait let's get married in a year and but honey um i'm going to give you to this man over there first let him do whatever he wants with you for a whole year until we get married what would you think of a person like that you'd go ooh horrible person yeah do you think jesus christ in heaven is looking down at the church and going well i'd really like to have her but i got to give her to the antichrist first and so when when he's done and having his way with her then i'll marry her that wouldn't be a virgin would it that wouldn't be a chaste virgin so this doctrine of a post-trib rapture i'll never accept that i don't believe that i see it for what it is heresy and i see it for what it is it's not rightly dividing the worth of truth it's actually omitting paul and the doctrine of paul so pre-trib rapture i don't believe in a mid-trib rapture i believe in a pre-trib rapture but we are seeing more and more and i close with that because i wanted to say this we are seeing more and more people today coming around that are scoffers just as it says here in verse three knowing this verse there shall come in the last day scoffers walking after their own lust you know many of these teachers that teach a post-trib rapture they've been married two three times maybe i mean they're very lustful people it's kind of sad you know they they go from wife to wife to wife or they fornicate or adulterate or things like that i mean the more you look at them the more they start to line up with this crowd than with this crowd and it's kind of a sad thing i hate it i hate it i want to see him come back to christ and to the true teaching of a pre-tribulation rapture but just everywhere we're bombarded daily especially on youtube especially on comments especially with emails for me there's no rapture or there's no pre-trib rapture or there's only a post rapture or if there is a rapture it's only this one here and you're going to go through the tribulation and you're good and it's just all these scoffers scoffing at what the bible actually says well i'm going to stick with the pre-trib because i recognize who those are those are those that forgot those are those that fell away those are those that chose not to follow what the bible says and it's sad so you can believe what you want i mean help yourself but when the rapture comes you'll be like oh man i should have listened to breaker it's going to be a pre-trib rapture okay and it's not me i don't want you to follow me i want you to follow the bible and the pre-trib rapture is the only one that works otherwise you've got a curse that angel in revelation is ah that's not right so second peter chapter three um next time i guess we'll begin in verse uh well i guess we got down to verse four i wanted to get down farther but um i guess we'll get started verse five next time so close here with verse 4 and saying where is the promise of his coming that's what they say where is it where is he coming is he coming like you say in a pre-trib no he's coming here or here or others say no he's not coming at all it's like all they're doing is proving the bible true by their scoffing and their questioning instead of dogmatically standing on what the bible teaches christ coming back for his bride to take her out so he can go back to dealing with israel so verse 4 saying where is the promise of his coming for since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation and then in verse 5 it talks about someone being willingly ignorant of something and that's kind of a sad thing a lot of people today are willingly ignorant of a lot of things much more i'd like to say i've already gone over but a lot of people ask me brother breaker can you talk about the the 10 virgins and things like this well when you start teaching this over here you're getting away from dispensations you're getting away from paul and you're getting into just matthew mark luke and john you're taking just jesus and you're not taking the revelations to paul from jesus so it's like you're forgetting paul and a lot of people have asked what about the 10 foolish virgins and all that well i guess that'll have to be for another time for another day but just think about it half of them have it half of them don't and what is the it the oil oil's the type of holy spirit so you've got 10 virgins and five are trying to get keep their oil and five aren't in our dispensation paul says we're sealed with the holy spirit i have the oil in me i'm not running around looking for it so i see that applying more to jews over here i don't see how the ten virgins could apply to us because we the church are a singular virgin all of us together make up the body of christ the bride of christ which is the virgin so i'll stop there i hope this has been a blessing man i thought i'd get farther along but next time who i think you'll enjoy our teaching next time appreciate you watching we'll see you next time god bless bye
