you learned that nothing i never said that you're lying um smoked salmon um with asparagus now these asparagus were hand picked by a guy from venezuela um so these are them and we're gonna make some um mash for sweet potato mash because you are what you mash um as you can see cow has actually given me less ingredients because he should cheat up but you know wait wait wait wait wait wait wait you have access to to the library oh i didn't know that was available okay here we go so wait what do you even make what is just a bit of salmon with some asparagus and sweet potato mash there's no way you've ever cooked asparagus in your life i have i have and you're gonna see what are you making today we're making the cal banara i've never made this before but today we are making a carbonara all he's gonna give it the big ones look at all that [ __ ] pepper maybe a bit of too much pepper all right we'll get in there and it's obviously cold because you've been hanging around but you you know just think of it as warm oh that's that's nice yeah there's steam coming off it still all right herbs vibes energy no it's good it's good creamy there could be more flavor in it yes it could be more flavour a little bit missing a bit of something yeah when you said it was missing something i think that's what he was uh missing flavor you'd eat the rest of that i don't know about the rest of it it's quite it's quite carby yeah yeah yeah yeah but if you were bulking you would i would eat that right let's go on to the salmon i mean um that's quite hard [Music] consistency is lovely this is lovely yeah you've put chili flakes on it but is it a bit bland you know what happens lacking flavor it's well cooked yes nicely done but yeah just missed in a bit yeah but it's only one part that's why there's three parts asparagus yes how would you cook this did you fry it or you grill it all right i i boiled it then fried you boiled it yeah yeah fried it yeah again this is just the el salvador dish oh he can hard no no he's chewed it he's chewed it he's got it in there come on it's expired i think it's expired yeah the date says um it was booked today it's all right yeah well cooked all right okay but i've saved the best for last this salmon this summer this is make or break for the dish here sorry great it looks really good it looks really good you want to flip it over maybe oh that's beautiful now you you have a you have a taste that and you let me know no i'm not it's some good salmon it's some good salmon it's a good salmon it's nice salmon it's a nice salmon it's good it's good i did say i like the look of it but i was just a bit unsure about the in order to have why don't you have a taste i just wish that skin was a bit crispier yeah yeah i wish that had flavor but you know tomato tomato i'm not getting the honey you put honey on it yeah i glazed it with honey um which was a dish which i'm doing i'm getting overbearing chili flakes it has its flaws but it's a as a dish like i before you would say maybe the salmon saved it the salmon saved the dish outside yeah yeah yeah you put this on if you [ __ ] the salmon it'll be game over but the salmon's good this is it's now been like 20 minutes since it's been put usually i'm fresh i have decisions [Music] [Applause] [Music] yes i've tasted both dishes they are both they have their merits uh they have their flaws and the overall your dish is healthier there's more to it there's different elements but when combined together i'm gonna say the ditch i preferred was healthy yes yes yes yes i deserve this i deserve this i i totally i i told you i practiced this dish three times this week three times i've never made this before practice mates kind of perfect i think it's the asparagus which is they'll let you down yeah if the asparagus this was nice is he winning i think so yeah because there's more elements to it that's a fairly easy dish is whacking a thing together let's let it slide it
