subscribe to the channel that really does help out so the first question people ask normally is should i level imbalance or feral uh dude i'm going to level him up so i'm going to be like five rounds i'm going to destroy him for the big stuff right chris yeah roll that warcraft movies intro let's go open your eyes open your eyes i am done with it [Applause] all right let's do this take my stop fire creates my lock yeah so balance is definitely more powerful and roughly king but low level you are just going to be drinking half of the time and it's not very efficient i think you could probably make it work at level 50 when you pick up some good talents and get some spirit gear but in my opinion now just wait until you hit outland and you've got a full set of good spell power greens before you even think about leveling in balance a leveling of feral is just extremely efficient imagine playing a rogue but you have healing spells it could have been a constant cycle of ripping up mobs like a black panther and when your health drops you can easily top your health with healing spells in cat form you actually take increased healing from healing spells you're one of the most efficient levelers in the game especially with the increased movement speed in cat form in the feral tree i know you get your matte level 20 but sometimes just jumping to the next mob in cat form is much better than having to mount up and d-mount every time faro druid are even good levelers in vanilla well so if they were remotely good in that version of a game where leveling was harder than convincing scottie jade to quit whitley kneel jin they're definitely going to be good in raph where every character is twice as powerful the only exception to this is if you've been playing a healer all the way through tbc then it's probably better to go boom kim it's going to be pretty good of all that spirit gear and obviously over spell power gear because no such thing as healing power gear and rap anymore all gets converted into raw spell power the talon alkyne frenzy prevents pushback on hurricanes so you can just easily multiple mobs with moon fire clump them all up together and then just use hurricane and star fall and watch them all just melt so let me give you some decent talents for leveling in feral and then also imbalance honestly guys you know it really depends more on your personal preference this is what i prefer to go for when i'm leveling as a druid if you have different preferences or different play style preferences then yeah switch some talents here and there but this is what i would personally recommend although there are some towns that are definitely absolutely mandatory you definitely want to get feral swiftness 30 percent increased movement speed in cat form honestly the majority of the talons they are just basic damage increasing stat increasing or crit increasing things but with some cheeky things like this like nurturing instinct increases the healing by 70 of your agility and the healing that you receive while in cat form that's very useful king of the jungle is very nice reduce mana cost of cat form because you will be swapping cat form sometimes even better form and you know swapping out a form to top it behind with healing may think it's a bit weird that we don't have rend and tear well i mean you're not going to be using like shred at all because you're going to be facing the target so you're not really going to be using ferocious by either but we definitely want berserk because this when you unlock it level 51 is going to cause you to actually start to be able to cleave with your mangle ability and you're actually going to be doing it in bear form then you want off spec into the restoration tree right you've got mark of a wild buff there which is very nice you got fur which causes you to maintain some of the energy when you're popping back into cat form naturalist although it seems like it's you know just reducing my cast time of healing touch which actually to be fair is quite useful increase the damage you deal with physical attacks and all forms by 10 and then when you get level 71 pop straight into ominous clarity this is a chance to cause your next attack to be totally free of rage mana or energy and we're mainly using that for energy obviously because we're going to be in cat form so you got totally free ability pre-level 75 though however before you unlock savage raw you want to get two points and infected wounds so when you leave a rip on the target to finish fat target off that mob is going to be slowed and won't continue melee attacking you while you move to the next mob now when it comes to glyphs in a proof hatch you haven't got great options to be honest but i would go for break because on humanoid targets will prevent them from running away and pulling more enemies then rejuvenation is fairly decent you know if your mana health pool sorry has dropped really low you could top it up better with this talent although it is normally better to just pop a regrowth another mine i definitely want aquatic form a number of situations you will be underwater and increase swim speed is definitely advantageous also just cool down on dash i'm going to be using that quite a lot too and then wild you're going to get the reduced mana cost which is just like a little bit useful now i'm going to be leveling in balance honestly all the talents in the balance tree are extremely valuable now like i said i wouldn't really recommend switching to balance so you've got some good gear but really the thing that makes balance start getting good for leveling is alkyn frenzy so this has a chance to basically prevent pushback on your abilities particularly hurricane which means you can spat what you can just use hurricane without the cast time getting interrupted or affected at all so you can like moon fire loads of enemies clump up together like i explained before just melt them down with hurricane i remember you can also use basking to prevent cast interruption but this is obviously on a one minute cooldown you've also got this girl wins talent which increases the damage of hurricane by 30 you could probably switch straight away into balance if you want to try it out when you've got alken frenzy but it's really going to pick up in power when you get star 4 level 61 great extra av ability to combine with your hurricane and obviously you have pretty tanky moon conform so you can just stand there and take a fairly decent amount of damage just letting all your aoe abilities get the mobs down now pre-patch again you don't have the best options when it comes to getting talent but glyphostate definitely would be the best one to get if you're leveling later in raffle lich king's journey but my advice is to get glitter rather just push back on raft so you can just hard cast and spam it when you combine this with a celestial focus it's basically well you don't get any pushback at all then i recommend insect swarm slightly increased damage on it and this is fairly nice because we will be spreading moon fires and insects wants multiple targets and it will help them you know get down in the kill phase but my talents exactly the same now let's jump into talking about how do you actually play the class when you are leveling first of all i've got some really good tips for you then i'll get point of nitty gritty of how you actually play it alone when it comes to rotations and things like that now when you deal with multiple enemies or just a difficult pull in general remember you can pre-hot yourself before you get into cat form for some extra survivability remember level 10 to 20 you only have bare form and strength is actually slightly better than agility until you get cat former then when you get cat formed your stack agility gear remember that weapon damage doesn't matter for a druid just get a weapon for of a stat stick i recommend you are levelling one to ten because it's extremely slow because you are just going to be hard casting rougher than drink on repeat moonfire isn't really worth it level 1 to 10 unless you're using it to get tags it's one of the fastest taggings abilities in the game combine it with a star attack macro so it instantly works when you're waiting on respawns when you're taking on elites doesn't matter whether you're boomkin or feral honestly the best thing to do is to get the mob in a root you know with entangling roots and then just spam raph and then finish it off when you're in cat form remember they can actually use it indoors now regrowth is much more mana efficient than rejuvenation so normally when you're topping your health up you just pop a regrowth back into cat 4. remember that enrage does actually reduce your armor you don't really want to be using it when a mob is attacking you you want to use it between pulls because you know gives you a decent amount of rage but yeah it will make you take much more damage but also remember to use demo raw when you're taking on multiple enemies and sometimes it is better to just go into bear form when you are taking on multiple enemies until you know there's less enemies to deal with i'll obviously remember you can prowl to skip enemies and do quests faster and for the people who are going to be leveling straight into northern content when reflecting launches remember you can prepare 25 quests i've got a video about that on my channel but if i can't bother watching the video if you subscribe to the channel and check the description of my subscriber only video then there is the best 25 quest route there for you members also get access to an even better quest list plus subscribers also get access to a really good weapon progression video so all the best weapons that i druid can get while leveling up let's recap you know how to actually properly play this class so level one to ten you're gonna hard cast with raf then drink and repeat you only use moonfire for tagging level 10 to 20 you do bare form you spam mole and then what you want to do is pull rage for the next pull use enrage between pulls not during the pull because you take more damage and then use demo roll when you take it on multiple enemies then level 20 to 80 if you're playing cat form open with rake spam mangle maintain savage raw and then that's it and then we have a berserk cooldown go into bear form and spam mangle i remember to always use regrowth not rejuvenation to top up your health between pulls unless you need the extra healing than you know pop rejuvenation if you've you know if your health has gone below 50 and you have that glyph now playing boomkins pretty simple like multi-dot with moonfire and insect swarm clump the mobs together you can very easily do this with nature's grass because it's going to root everyone near you and then just pop a hurricane and start fall and let the mobs melt obviously only effects free targets though so be mindful of that and use baskin when you can as well because that's going to help her too anyway guys that's going to be the end of the video there my name is matt goblin to the next video ciao [Music] you
