well here is what we're doing today you can see we've got some snow flurries of flying and we're going to put the dagelman blade [Music] on this tractor now we've got it all cleaned up we've got everything done that we need to do to it and i want to pull the blade in i not only want the blade on there to plow snow but i want to order some cutting edge pieces on the the wear edge that goes on the bottom of the blade so we're going to get the blade mounted on this we'll pull it inside and we'll see what it needs for wear pieces so why don't we go down the road we've got gotta go that way and we've got it um sitting on the old road and we'll get this mounted up so all right we've got this all hooked up every one of them hosts couplers fought me every step of the freaking way so i had to walk up get the army truck i didn't have any tools with me and i had to undo well i didn't undo the hose coupling there i actually undid every cylinder and let the pressure off on it a little bit so i could get them stinking hose couplers to um attach themselves to each other so we are going to lock the lift it up lock the pin and head on out of here with it roll up to the shop check everything over see what we need for parts and get them ordered and then kick this outside we'll have it ready to plow some snow [Music] here all right we're all coupled into place and we're just going to close this waterman valve here so that that pin can't accidentally um come unlocked all right we're gonna run this up to the shop um i've gotta run to the field uh where they're moving manure they ended up breaking a axle on the james way spreader so we've got to run down and assist them nate's in the field of that they were only running uh one crew so them guys ended up picking up and going over to the other spreader which is on another farm so that they could keep the manure moving the roads are you know it's been the snow's been spitting but the roads are only wet and um we've only gotten about an inch or so so far and we're only supposed to get one to three and i think the snow it's right at the temperature where it's it's kind of warm too so it's not melting when it hits the ground but it's melting when it hits the road so let's see what kind of trouble the spreader is in we'll join up with you in a few minutes here once we get to the field okay we just pulled in the field it looks like the rest of this video i was going to be working on james lay spreader got that blade all hooked up and i kind of wanted to finish up that 94-10 but um they called said there was a bearing gone on the fan housing jared had him get it empty and then they were switching just gonna switch fields and go with a different spreader and while he was unloading this last load here ended up breaking kingpin on this thing so let's see what we have going on here [Music] that doesn't look too awful good nate [Music] okay what do we got hooking up here okay so the king pin itself broke i don't know if i have one of them or not i think i've got a whole assembly there so what we have to do is try to get that bolt out that hooks to the tie rod right there and if we can't get that bolt out because that's hooked to this the steering itself um the other thing we do is crawl underneath the spreader and maybe take it off the other end but that's just uh looks like a one inch bolt it's probably not going to come out too awful easy but if it doesn't come out we can just reach in here with the torch and cut it and pound it out the rest of the way so let's get to it here we'll join back up with you once we get it tore apart there's not going to be much here to see and uh i'm going to have to come down here and get this tire with something so what do you got full load on hold on so that's why we're into the ground here we're squatting there so let's see what we can get down here this is going to be rather easy to get this apart all right we've got that tire rod caught now we're gonna try to can we just push it over and maybe uh leave it up in the air and then we can roll it into the bucket [Music] easier okay this is gonna be decent uh work on back at the shop we'll just get this empty and then we'll have to try to get this pin out and i don't know if i have i don't know what i have back at the shop i don't know if i've got that whole thing or just the pin we'll have to come down here with a towel handler and pick it up um and hold on with that sledgehammer a minute let's see if we can pound i don't know what holds that in there must be a pin through here or something oh this must be a straight shot so where's that little ball peen hammer well that's the other part to it all right that's that um i don't know if we're gonna have one of them back at the farm but um [Music] all right so that's out of there so jesus [Music] christ [Music] [Music] all right we're gonna get this back to the shop i don't recall what i have for parts it looks like there's a bearing that's involved here too down inside here maybe not yeah right there so it looks like there's a seal that belongs there yeah there's some kind of a seal there so i i've got to do some research on that see what's all involved there however i think i have that whole thing i could be wrong now so um we're gonna go ahead and have him get this back to the shop and we can work on it inside it looks like it's gonna be a relatively easy job to take care of here oh scratch and sniff videos here he's just gonna get his load emptied off [Applause] smoking pretty good [Music] oh okay this is all ready to go and this blade was a year old it ended up ripping these hinges off of the moldboard and diggleman came and got it and reworked everything in their shop the welds gave out and it just something wasn't right about it ever since it was fixed it kind of stayed together they do not make what's called the pile driver anymore it is handy because it's got the wings that fold in but it also has a lot of stress on that hinge point so this blade um rotates up and down but it does not angle at all that's the one problem with this blade it does not angle however you can close one wing in leave the other one open or have them both closed then to pick up a streamer we'll show you how that works quick then we're going to back this outside and back that james way spreader in so we got up and down that's all the way up there and then we can oscillate it from side to side if you're needing to do some angling that way and then we've got the left wing the right length and then if you drop close to the wall you just close them both up or close one side up and get out away from the wall so we're gonna go ahead and get this outside so we can work on that james way spreader we've got a couple hours worth of work to do to that looks like it's right in my way so the snow is coming down at a little bit of a steadier spa uh pace here [Music] hopefully we do not need this while snow with but in the event that we do it's ready to go nothing worse than getting a pile of snow and not being ready well at the rate that the snow is coming down it looks like we might be using this 94 ton uh sooner rather than later [Music] the roads are just getting slippery enough here they can't run anymore but we got that plugged in she's ready to go all right we ended up getting this whole pin out of here however i do not have a pin so we're gonna have to pull it back out of the shop and we probably won't see that pin until monday but it looks like the smell is to bother us anyhow so now we're going to work on the 77 30 i've got that fuel hose to get on it and uh we'll do some work to get this tractor finished up here all right now we're going to work on this manure pump it is saturday morning now so it's we're into the next day we've got a pump there a rebuilt one for this james way spreader however i did not have a kingpin for it so we ended up pulling that spreader out they're just putting the finishing touches on this 7730 here they've painted around the frame up front here of course the wheels are done all that stuff is done so has it we haven't got much left to do on that uh tim took the pumps that came off of these spr uh the manure pumps that came off the pump itself took these ore to ortel and he delivered these last night so we decided we're gonna work on this pulp here today uh one of the gear boxes he replaced the other one he rebuilt got a new fan housing and fan there so that's what we're gonna work on today now i just wanted to bring it to you guys attention that old white is having a sale here the 25th these guys are looking over some stuff here that was dropped off here last night they got the old white pen uh which they've sent me a couple of these now and that's got an led um light on it that's pretty handy it also comes well it comes in this case here they give you an extra ink tube and it is usb c chargeable now i ended up getting show show the light i give you tim the one you gave me was this one here the baton yeah i gave all my guys the baton two and if you see in the last video of jake working i ended up giving him one of these too his is brown which is kind of like it's this color here this is actually the warrior pro they have the baton two pro out now and that's in this sale coming up and then they also sent me the sr well what is that the sr that's the sr1 i got this sr1 quite a while ago this one here works real nice uh clip into the hat like that because it's a little shorter but you put yours on your hat quite a bit don't you the the baton yeah the baton too so uh just wanted to bring that to your attention folks they have a sale coming up on the 25th look at the uh link in the description here and you can get all the particulars on this stuff so we're gonna go ahead and get started on this pump here and um if you recall in the last video i ended up uh welding this uh piece all back in there so we're gonna get the cylinders hooked up to that however i do not have the right bushing that goes in the eye or the end of these cylinders here so we better get to work and um after we get these pumps done we're going to pull in truck six that's in outside here we've got to do a set of rear springs on that and we've got to do the transmission so we better get to work here and uh see if we can't get this pump back together why not what do you think pretty good that's playing with them huh yeah so this is the pump and gearbox and everything that came off of this um pump here however we did not need to replace the housing or the fan but we did have to replace the gearbox if you recall this gearbox here a seal went on it probably the bottom seal because this back one looked okay well i guess we really don't know is either the the back seal or the bottom seal went on it manure and sand and everything else got in there and it ruined the gears and it was cheaper really to buy a whole new freaking gearbox so we've got to get this cover off we've got a yoke inside here and we'll have to guide it in there and get that shaft hooked up but before we do that we've got to put this thing on uh tim and it's a good thing i cleaned that out because that stuff that was in there this pump would have taken forever to penetrate through that stuff there so we probably should look up in that and make sure there is uh good up to the back okay it's good up to there it should be okay so always slide that on first and then we'll pull this pump yeah i'll get a socket for that [Music] oh [Music] [Music] uh [Music] uh [Music] so [Music] i gotta come here [Music] go ahead [Music] [Music] all right we've just got a few more bolts to tighten up here but we ended up siliconing the joint there where this goes together because we end up filling this tube with uh oil just so that it keeps the shaft and everything rust free that is no different than a large thousand rpm pto shaft and if you didn't have the oil in there you would not be able to get that apart and then of course there's no room inside here at all to heat anything up so it's a real mongrel to get this stuff apart so let's go ahead and get the rest of the bolts in that fasten that together looks like somebody broke the fitting off here i'm not gonna say who it was but i got a pretty good idea and i think it was the guy that rolled this undercarriage underneath the pump so i have to dig this broken piece out of the hose end here and i have to get a new 90 in that and uh we'll just keep rolling along here [Music] well we've just about get got this wrapped up i'm just going to put the left cylinders on here now that's what those hoses there for we've got to get oil in this square tube and we've got to hook up the gear oil fill for uh the gearbox so this is the broke cylinder on the floor got a new one in this box over here and then here is one of the old ones and i ended up knocking out the bushing uh that was in the end of the ram and here is that right here we've got to clean that up and we're just going to run a a reamer down through that tube there so that that bushing fits and then we'll have to ream out that bushing as well so i've got an inch and a half reamer on the man killer here we're gonna go ahead and bore that out [Music] [Music] all right we've got that and they're cleaned out now we're just going to clean up the outside of this bushing and then i've got to bore the inside of it out as well um [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] okay so we have this bushing all cleaned up we bored out the end of the cylinder we got this bushing all cleaned up and now that's just going to slide right in there like that and then the idea of that is is the bushing is supposed to oscillate in the cylinder i've got to get a grease circuit in there yet we're thinking the whole reason why we broke that other cylinder is because these pins couldn't rotate as the cylinder moved so it set it up and it just twisted the frame out so we've got to get this end out yet and then do the same thing to that bore that out we've got into the end of it with the torch a little bit there but that's going to be fine so just get a grease zerk in here and uh get that so it works this one inch bolt goes right in there all right we might be in to having to replace this cylinder too or have it rebuilt we had to put a lot of heat into these ends to get the bolts out we ended up cutting everything now i was able to bore this one out got it all cleaned up however the piston is down in about here and i'm hoping that we didn't screw up the packing on that piston i cannot pull this rod out so i've got this elbow fitting turn so it'll go into the bucket and we're just going to try pushing some air through it because i have to heat the end of this cylinder up to get this bushing out and i don't want it so close to the packing on the end of this ram here so we're going to try putting some air to it and see if we can't get that rod to extend i can't pull it out by hand because i'm thinking that the seal and here might be damaged from heating this end up so so so [Music] so [Music] so all right we could not get that cylinder to move with air pressure now we got a hydraulic hose hooked to it up to the 7730 and we're gonna try juicing it with some hydraulic force to get that rod to move number one remote oh there she goes pushing the oil out into the pail keep going so okay now if the packing was bad not the packing well yeah if the packing was bad on the piston which is the end of this rod since we're powering it with hydraulic oil if that packing was bad oil would come out of this now the reason why oil came out of this now is because that oil is just trading places as the cylinder is moving now well you know something the reason why that cylinder wouldn't move is because it's bent it's bent right here so that's why that would not move we're going to need to replace the rod on that but [Music] um now we're cooking butter yeah buddy it's probably there oh bastard all right so shake it all right why don't you grab that pail and hold it right under it it's going to shoot this way watch it you're gonna get it out that o-ring too all right we have this apart and then this is the actual piston right here uh this is hooked to the end of the rod and then it does have a little bit of heat damage right here probably would never bother with the amount of times this cylinder is getting worked it would probably never bother so what we're going to do is we're going to take this nut off the bottom pull the piston off pull the end cap off and then we'll take this to the hydraulic place we use new way hydraulics and they'll either source a rod or make on make one once we get this off of here we'll try to get that bushing out we can at least use these bushings in the new cylinder that we're going to put on however i will price this and see how much that new one cost um and see if it might be cheaper to just buy a whole brand new cylinder sometimes it is cheaper to do that but we'll get this nut off of here and pull the piston off try to get that bushing out [Music] yeah let me get [Music] i don't know if that's threaded too or not sometimes these are threaded no it's not threaded all right that's all that is there so this is the piston this is the cylinder rod and then this is the actual gland knot that holds the cylinder all together so try to sacrifice this bushing here and then we'll take this rod out to new way monday and have them make us a new rod milton cat also does this too but yeah sometimes they're uh real busy and can't quite get to things like this but uh milton cat has made us some rods before too so all right we've done as much as we can do to this pump we've got this one cylinder on this one side but that's as much as we can do right now until we get some more parts in it so all we have left to do is put the other cylinder on and we're pumping oil into this square frame right here and a couple of you have asked why we do that it's something more telesupply is always done and everywhere there's a cover here there's one there there another one in the middle and two more down through the length of the pump under every cover is a u-joint and a slide yolk and without that oil in there that stuff rusts up and you cannot get that stuff apart so they generally put about 20 gallons of oil in these long pumps like this we've probably got all of 40 35 maybe um it's just used oil they like to use new oil because the used oils got dirt in it so we've got to continue pumping this barrel here out and then we're going to dump what came out of the hydraulic cylinder in there as well and it's filling up rather quickly here so it is about level right now so we might have to lift the back of the pump up just so that we can get everything that came out of that barrel we're gonna pull this one out and then we're gonna pull the other one in and we're gonna start putting that one together as well i don't know how well you can see that but i forgot to show it earlier that is what the tube looks like that we ended up repairing and getting all welded back in there so we got to put the bushing in the cylinder so that's why there's not enough on that bolt there all right we've got the second pump in here and we're just about done putting it back together this one here has got a new fan housing new fan and it's got the new prop on it if you remember when we took this one apart i had to cut the prop off i got into the shaft what ortel supply did was they just welded the shaft in and ground it down they were able to put that prop on there because that's keyed it really doesn't work with a lot of torque and the other pump we had to replace that gearbox because the sand got in there and it ruined the gears and it was cheaper to go with a new gearbox than it was to go with a couple of gears and a couple of shafts so this one's just about done got to put oil in the tube there and this frame on this pump is a little different than the other one we've had these pumps are both the same but this pump we were putting it in one time and we bent it right in here and ruined it so we had to replace the eight inch pipe and then the eight inch main frame and they have since made this a little different a little heavier it's got different lift cylinders on there and the whole nine yards we have deleted the agitation gun on this because we really don't need to agitate with the pump it just they just don't do a good enough job the other pump we're going to try selling we have bought another pump to go over the wall these pumps here are really made for an earthen lagoon and they're just too they're too long and it's you're just asking too much trying to back these wheels and through the sand and when we get that noon pump the new one we'll show you how that is that's basically like one of the ones that we have in uh barn pits so the boys have got the 77 30 done here jason went around it painted the wheels up the other day and they went around and painted the frame on it as well it's got a fresh coat of wax now this tractor is a 2008 model we bought this new paid like a hundred and twelve thousand for it and um just a few years later the tractor that was sitting alongside this one at the dealership uh sold at an auction for exactly what the gentleman had paid for it um and when he had uh had his retirement auction uh the 78 30 sold for actually mo it went for more than what this actually sold for brand new but um we did the brakes on this the other day i did that in the last video here and the boys went around that wax that detailed the cab and we just thought we would spruce it up a little bit um yeah just to make it look new again so um that's gonna do it folks we are going to call it a night here i think you're going out with the ladies tonight i hope so yeah there you go all right that a boy so that's gonna do it folks thanks for watching and we will catch you at the next video
