well amongst all the other projects that we have going on this is one that we're gonna start with right here now what we're gonna do is we're going to move the wheels out on this this is set up to plant 30 inch cornrows right now and i know that the tires are wore out on it it needs a new set of them but um they'll be just fine the way they are we're gonna get this weight bracket off of here as well because we've got a pottinger mower that's gonna go on this tractor so there's only 21 weights on this weight pack here the reason why there's only 21 is that's all that would fit on there i would prefer 23 or four but that's as many as i could get on in between ah the actual arms there i could have put a a beam out here and had a couple of individual ones setting on there but um it is what it is so i will have to jack it up we'll have to pull the wheels off and then we'll have to flip the dishes around on the rim itself and then we're going to pull the duals off i'm going to pull them weights off the duals as well so i could use them on another application this tractor here the way it sits right now weighs 32 600 pounds so it's it's good and heavy but we wanted all that girthy weight for planting corn um on site hills and going up and down steep hills and whatever with 900 gallons of fertilizer full of corn and whatever you could get pretty heavy with the planter and we just wanted the weight up in front of it so we're gonna get after that and we'll step over in next door we'll see how the boys are making out doing their projects the shop is a mess because we've got several jobs that are unfinished waiting for the engine with this one waiting for some more parts for this 40 20 waiting for a four thousand dollar dpf filter for this skid steer which it's probably not worth it if we traded this skid steer in tomorrow we'd probably only get six or seven thousand dollars for it but there really isn't a way to delete it the you'd have to change the computer crap on it and um i don't think there's enough of a call for it to have any of that stuff going on but jason's thinking that he's gonna have this ready for primer uh possibly late this afternoon they've got a lot of the heavy sanding done on it and um they're gonna be ready for some primer here so we're gonna get after that and kerr is trying to button up this water pump here but um it's kind of been a little bit of a pain in the butt huh yeah at least it isn't half in and in the door and half out of the door like where it was when you took it apart so we had another truck dead uh sitting right here so when he took it apart the other day he was half in and out of that door over there and i moved it outside that night and then we brought it in here and he had to replace an oil pressure sensor in behind well between the oil cooler and the water pump there and uh we are waiting for those parts today now he's just trying to get a couple mongrel bolts and they're able to get that back bolt in it's in the hole i just got to screw it up just got to screw it in well that's half the job is getting it in the hole all right a lot of work getting it back in there huh yeah yeah so well all right we'll leave these guys along we'll see if we can't get some wheels working here well this is going to be the last uh trip i hope with this service body on there we just lifted the welder off we have removed the uh torches from it and we're getting ready to take the body off but the guys are spreading manure and we've got to run down to the field now and see what's going on with the spreader um all right that's spreading with it he said that he broke a wheel off of it so we're gonna go on down and see what it looks like get some parts ordered for it and get her back together [Music] all right so he's got a broken spindle we've seen this problem before and that is the side that we had break down here about six weeks ago so we've got his chassis raised up he's gonna just dump the load off let's come down and get that um fire there he's got to spread manure on me i just know it so um let's try to get him empty i think we're standing far enough away so we'll go ahead and get that load off and then we'll make sure he can get out on the road safely and we'll have him run this back to the farm just so we can work on it there without there being a welder on this truck anymore i'm afraid that that signal might have to have something welded to it so that we can twist it in order to pull it out so um let him get this spread off we'll hang around down here for a minute and we'll have to send one of the boys down to get this [Music] fire well this is what we've done we had to move the utility body out of here you got to move it back back farther yeah it's decent right there i had to move the utility body out of here because we're getting ready to prime it so we ended up getting the front end moved and adjusted to be where we want it up front here we ended up moving the fenders out on it and then we also set the steering stops so that we could steer this wider so we've got the front end set now we're doing the rear end we took the weights off of the duals we won't need them on the duals anymore we've got them stacked over there now what we have to do is we have to take the inner hub or the outer hub off clean up the axle well we'll get the outer hub off and we're going to take the weights off of that inner wheel and then we're going to uh clean up the axle move the inner wheel out to match the front tires and then we'll put the dual hub back on and then we will um put the duals back on so being that it's set in their own the only way you can get in there to adjust or undo them bolts that go on this hub is you got to remove everything and we don't need the weights on there um because we're going to be a little closer together with the um well i might be able to leave we might be able to leave them weights on there because if we move that tire in um that might work this hub if as long as it sticks out to here will work so we'll see what the measurement ends up being maybe we'll leave them weights on there or at least leave one on so well we've got to break our hubs loose and then we'll get that done we'll go over and take a peek at what the utility body looks like jason's getting ready to throw some primer on it here we ended up washing the inside of it out and we're just using the salamander heater to kind of dry things up but he's got this thing all ready to uh to go here and in about an hour and a half or so he'll end up throwing some primer on here now this utility body used to be on a ford and the fuel fill was in behind the wheel well and they ended up putting a cap on here they filled that all in with weld or uh filled it in with bondo they welded a metal piece in there and then used the bondo to fill in all of the rivet holes and whatever that went around the actual fill neck spout here so this is where it has to be for uh the chevy truck so everything's in pretty good shape here um we're gonna paint this black it's got like undercoat and stuff around the bottom we're gonna leave that we're going to uh paint from here up and then we'll put that under body rust proofing stuff on the on the bottom there and um and then we've got to paint the underneath of course so they've got the inside of the box inside of the tool boxes have been sanded he's going to paint that as well and then there was some small little holes here and there they have capped those welded them up cleaned them off and this is just about ready for awesome primer here so this had um i think it had some of the undercoating sprayed on here too that's why it looks like that but it's got a nice smooth finish here now so we'll join up with you when we start throwing some primer on here now we're getting ready to get this wheel off the axle there was two weights stacked on the outside of the wheel here we've got them setting over on the floor these are 450 pounders i believe they are 205 kilograms i think that's what they are yeah 205 so whatever that works out to be look that up how many pounds is 205 kilograms i think it's 450. um on this tractor this tractor has air brakes on it and it has an air compressor over on that left axle over there and when we got this tractor i ended up pulling the wheels off but i pulled the inner weights out put them on the outside and as you can see right there there's not quite enough room in there to run two inner weights on there so we're gonna go ahead and pull these wheels back off and then put the weights on the inside like they're supposed to be and then put the wheel back on there get it set with the front end and then put our dual hub on with the dual and then we'll move over to the other side now we don't have enough room on the other side so we're going to let it down turn the tractor around come back in and do all the work over on this side you got all that okay all right so uh we can run this axle out what there is is a gear in here and it runs against these teeth to get your wheel adjustment once we get out so far we're gonna wrap a chain well we already got the chain on there we're gonna lift it up with the forklift and then set it down on the floor and then we'll have to set them weights in individually get them bolted in there and then lift it back up and put it back on right all right let's see nate shaved he looks like a 14 year old boy again huh wooly booger i think this will turn it moved a second ago it's not really in this spot that it needs to be in it usually works a little better it's along the side but the only other way we can do that is turn it and i think we need to turn it so [Music] so [Music] you're on your chain all right i gotta have it come this way [Music] [Music] all right now uh not too pretty of a job but it has to be done so run the uh wire wheel over this axle and as you can see it was as far as it would go here probably could scrape some of this mud out of here garrett we'll run the wire wheel over this get all the rust off of there so that when we tighten that axle hub up on there it's actually going to get into the meat of the axle and it won't be working on the surface rust we're going to take these weights and uh set them in there it's not too cute of a job but it won't be too bad all right now we have um got the weights mounted on the inside of the cast hub now we're just going to carry this over very carefully set it on the axle zipper on there put our hub on the dual set it down go outside and then turn it around and do the same thing for the other side [Music] all right go down you're ready go off of hair [Music] okay [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] okay we're almost [Music] we have this right wheel in position we've got it down off the jacks the left wheel we've got to do yet but i've got to take it outside run it do a couple of quick turns and then back back inside and we need to re-torque this hub here then we can set the dual hub on and then set the wheel on there so it's recommended that you run it some before you [Music] go ahead and get that other hub on because you can't really get in here to tighten these bolts up i do have an angled torque arm that goes on these hub bolts but i don't like to use it and i'll show you what that looks like here when we get it back in the shop so we'll run it around and do a couple of quick turns and jerks with it bring it back and tighten it up so [Music] so [Music] [Music] all right so we did our hot rodding and um we were able to re-torque this wheel was any of them loose no there wasn't nothing loose oh well so um you need a battery yeah so now we have the dual hub on there and on these hubs they're a little different than like oh i don't know the it's a solid hub it's got the wedges in there but they're a little different than like a 78 10 or a 4450 or whatever um these they have them numbered they want you to tighten them up in a different sequence so that's what garrett was doing he was jogging all around there and um we learned him some numbers today so he went around got the sequence done on that now we're going to go ahead and re-torque or torque this dual hub and then this is the special john deere tool here that you can reach in and you can get right inside the inner um studs there if you will and you can tighten them with the dual hub on there i don't know if this is all this has got a part number right on it look at that jd g679 32 millimeter three-quarter drive so that allows you to get in sneak in there you can even get in there with the dual on the tractor to tighten up them inner hub bolts and um the one of these should come with the tractor to tell you the truth but it is what it is so we're going to go ahead and torque this throw the dual on and we'll have to turn it around outside and then we'll pull it in so that we can do the same thing to the other side [Music] all right curry is just getting back here now with the wheel he ended up swapping out this axle a little while ago here is the other piece to it here and you can kind of see on the end here right there and then right here that it had been broke for a while so he just pulled that out of the axle tube we have had trouble pulling these out before because they are a dead end in other words you cannot get on the back side to hit it with anything and um you could take and weld something on there we've twisted and and pulled on them before and whacked on them with a hammer to get them out but this is the fourth one that we have broken on this spreader when this spreader broke here yesterday it broke in the same field that we broke this piece on right here so we're gonna get the wheel bolted on there and uh they're gonna get this spreader cleaned up that's gonna be the last time that this um spreader is gonna break on us here so we ended up trading this off and we've got a noon tanker that's gonna be here in about a week or so so we're gonna check on the guys now they are overloading oats over to cleverley's and um i don't know if that bin is ready to be shoveled out or not yet so we need to run over and check on them and then we'll get back and we'll get the wheel we've left one wheel on this 7290 yet we're gonna get that um moved out and we'll run in and check on jason's priming job here he's going to actually paint this utility body here today he's got everything all primed looks real good he ended up using the john deere uh buff primer it kind of looks like a cat yellow and uh things look pretty good here so he's got that done get some paint on her you're able to get that home without it falling off of there huh how was that trip fun yeah yeah [Music] all right we just uh got the tractor trail load of oats loaded and now we're having the shovel out of the bed and we've got this grain buggy loaded for um the next load when they come in a few weeks so this is where i lost my last camera and i ended up selling the dryer that was over here and that's in this drain bin or in this facility down below here and these guys are over here grabbing it right now they're just getting it packed out they've got some wheels on it and they're gonna hook a pickup truck to it watch the silo watch the silo he's all [Music] right they brought wheels with them and uh they built the hitch for it the guy that bought it probably was about 40 miles away from here so are you gonna unhook it on the road all right they're gonna unhook this on the road we'll show you where it came [Music] this is the uh structure that it was under here had a wet bin on this other side here the wet band is sitting right there and then that fed the dryer the dryer was sitting inside here and then uh it had the auger that come out of it and that went to feed these two bins that are over here on this other side here [Applause] so away she goes all right we better head back to the farm and uh get something done here well we've got this wheel off of the left side and because this is so tight into the tractor this is the year's worth of gunk and garbage that you just cannot reach with a pressure washer or anything so other than keeping your axles clean it ain't a bad idea um to maybe move the wheels every few years just to clean that crap out of there um we haven't done that of course but um that's just a lot of garbage in there and it just what it does too is it can rust these lines out now i'm preaching here i know that but um i'm kind of glad we're doing this because it's forcing us to be able to clean this stuff up so we've got the wheel weights ready to set in the rim now the reason why we took these out of the inside is because it's got this hydraulic um air pump unit on here and i don't know if this could be relocated or not but it would be a good idea if it wasn't here on the axle we'd be able to run one weight on the inner wheel but not both of them of course or else you would clean that right off of there uh this unit here we don't even use it it's an air brake unit it's got the glad hand couplers right here but um it's just e they have it on some of the tractors so um it is it is what it is so uh we'll set that on there here in a minute but the guys are working on this manure pump here we had a um gear fall off of the uh oh this little hydraulic motor here got this gear on here that fell off ended up in the pump and what it did is it broke that yoke and it's on that shaft there now we've had enough items go through this pump in the past bunch of years that it is hard to believe that it was that that little gear would have got in there and broke that pump i mean we've had stones the size of softballs go through this pump gate latches you name it and that just happened to get in there and caught and it didn't shear the pin right or did it i mean oh nice you know it jammed in there if i've chewed it and done it one side would go in there and then no i mean the shear pin on the power track yeah i know that would yeah so they've got the shaft cleaned up the impeller shaft here they got to get the yoke on that and then what they'll do is they'll muscle that gear box back in there and line the shaft up we got this guy is our our muscle man that's going to hold that up underneath there he'll hold it up in there with one hand he'll he'll just grab a hold of that uh input shaft for the ptl and he'll set it right up in there it's only 100 pounds oh we'll check on jason here he was just outside here a second ago and i think he's got the black about done here i don't know if he's putting the second coat on or or what but he's going right to town to around it and it's looking pretty good he's actually putting the second coat on so getting there done that's a 21 harbor freight uh paint gun [Music] we sometimes uh just use them and then throw them away after one use but sometimes we stretch stretch them out clean them up and use them uh use them over again but for 21 you can't beat that and they're a pretty good ah paint gun so we're gonna leave him alone because i'm getting gassed out here [Music] [Music] [Music] is that right where it needs to be oh yeah that's amazing huh that's even holding the camera on one hand bob that's pretty good ain't it oh yeah yeah [Music] yeah i'll grab them got this all cleaned up once you get a blow gun get right inside there this is the easy way donna all right that's about where it's gotta be i think [Music] six and a half [Music] so i think six and a half inches is good seven's better right whatever you want or do you regularly run at four and a half you're right at four and a half yeah all right what about you you think six inches is good or six and a half you want seven yeah she wants seven doesn't she all right well this is now ready to have the mower put on it sarah's gonna take this over to ours and they can get the mower mounted to it we took the front weights off of it i built this weight bracket a while ago and um yeah use this on there so maybe we'll put this on to 79 30. maybe it'll just sit there i don't know maybe we'll bring it back and when once we get the mowers back here take the mowers off and put the weight bracket right back on it but we'll get this over there and maybe we'll do a little bit of a video while we drive through o'hara's machinery [Music] well those of you that are somewhat familiar with this area this is a little little tiny hamlet i guess you would call it called half acre so we're about a mile away from ah the machinery dealership right now harrah's and uh once we get there we'll do a little drive through of the uh machinery that they have on their lot now there's another dealership that sells another brand of equipment the red stuff and they are right across the way here and that is monroe tractor that's about i don't know a third of a mile from here so we'll take a run through uh that dealer a lot as well once we get through o'hara's up here and momentarily here sarah will be here this is hoskins farms right here they're on both sides of the road they've got a like a pristine outfit here everything is just so meticulous anybody that's local to the area here kind of knows the name but um beautiful sign there established 1945. but yeah so they run all the way over to route 20 and i don't know how far they go to the left here but will be to the dealership here in a minute and uh like i said we'll take a run through there all right sarah's just getting pulled into the dealership here and the type of mower that we ended up buying is going to look just like that that one there that's the portion that will go on the back of the tractor those are two 12 foot mowers there she's just gonna get this parked up back here looks like they've got some items out back here they're gonna get worked on 72 30 with a mower of some kind on there i don't know that's a oh that's a yeah that's like the one that we have so she needs assistance here on where to park okay that's where she's gonna park it at 7200 and 7230 [Music] back a little farther so it was in line with that other one these guys are closed now it's about 25 after five so that's good so we'll take a ride through the machinery here so you didn't hit any cars coming through auburn and skinny alice how could i know nothing you know the tractor will go like crazy won't it 31 mile an hour down the road we'll just take a ride through the equipment here and then we'll run over to monroe tractor that must be customers a customer's chopper there they're a dealer for westfield augers there's a tr-70 combine we could we could buy that one two combines this year right well it's got a corn head and a grain head sunflower disc ranger like we used to have 96.60 95.60 side hill we have a neighbor that has a couple of side hill 95 60s they would be good for the type of terrain that we're on as well this is where our 7780 chopper came from it came from this dealership here they have a brand new 9900 chopper i'm trying to see if i can locate this mower here uh front of the cha tractor is but this is the unit that hooks onto the back here and um yeah this one instead of it folding up vertically folds back horizontally we have some tedders here there's your new grain buggy right there huh yeah 760. just kidding i think 95 60 would handle that [Music] [Music] there is the brand new version of the tractor that you just brought over here 7r 290. got the wide rubber on it just like the 7930 that's a nice looking unit right there [Music] well you gotta make one more pass down through this side and then we'll close out this video here that must be a 6 000 series there 7 800 t8 380 would be a little bit bigger than andrew's tractor you know 380 horse i think he would love that he would love that blue he likes that color blue and everything you know yup it's 79 30. it looks like it's in decent shape well all right well we're being nosy here and this truck body here i built quite a long while ago for these guys is for o'hara farms and that body there is it's the nine and a half foot wide on a dm model mac this is the um farm here itself one brother ran the farm and the other brother had the uh john deere dealership and we're just being a little nosy here is all but um yeah this is the dairy facilities here this is oakwood dairy and that's right well you can see it's right across the road from from the dealership so this dealership here is very similar to the dealership that we bought the 8320r from they have one store and most of all of the dealerships that sell john deere equipment now uh they have multiple stores meaning they have more than one some of them have as many as 30 stores so kaz equipment has 10 or 11 maybe even 12 stores and um o'hara's they have the one store and they do a they do a real good job [Music] all right this is monroe tractor here it's within a stone throw of a here machinery we thought we'd just drive through here looks like they're getting some tillage equipment ready 260 there i got a new one here 148 we'll just take a gander through some of this equipment here international something or other close 990 that's a brand new unit right there the sun is right in our eyes so keep this facing that way sprayer unit there that way well i thought i was gonna be able to uh get around there but i don't think we can get through here maybe we can yeah we can 300. it works better to drive this way we don't have the sun in our eyes a lime spreader village equipment there's a terra disc like type thing right there a brand new 540. well we're gonna get back to the farm it is just shy of six o'clock and uh that's gonna do it for this video so what do you say sarah you don't know what to say yeah well thanks for watching folks and we'll catch you at the next video
