Won a hoarders storage room for $30. Found some gold! Lots of change $$$! But even more trash!

everybody so today I won a storage room for $30 it's a it's one of those ones I picked up I guess I got it on storage treasures so it's an online auction there's a lot of a lot of junk in here we'll see if there's anything good it would definitely be interesting I don't have to take the paperwork of course but there's a lot of sorting to do so I guess I'll have to start today it's super rainy it's Friday so I'm gonna get the first five boxes out and put you guys on time-lapse so we'll go through these couple bags there's a lot of paper and trash in here but like that's the problem with when you buy them on it's a tower fan for your car when you buy them online you can't tell what is exactly happening with the room I mean there's definitely flea market stuff but so that feels like paperwork he definitely had a paperwork problem where it couldn't throw out any anything that had something to do with paper that looks like a charger of some sort the first bit of change a lot of times in these quarter rooms you find you find a ton of change so I've been given everything the Darwin and Gabi hasn't been in the mood to collect change recently I don't know why we've got a pair of speakers garbage though more books and stuff there was this little guitar I pulled out of the top it was in there made in China but it it's made real well I might have to give that to the kid to try it like for guitar lessons Darwin was talking about doing that and it's a nice small one I don't know if I've ever heard of the brand before there's a drill no it's 18-volt though a battery yet that's pretty good never heard of that brand either though touching me oh but there's lots and lots of garbage paper in here and we're change looks like just pennies and definitely uh definitely will make a few dollars on this room it's just a heat trash all right we are got a bunch of unpacked boxes they're like the boxes to go through so I'm gonna pull out more and hopefully find something I did pull out this suitcase it's a nice hard cover suitcase let's see what's in it more paper garbage that is fairly depressing trying to think what we have to I have to decide which paper I'm going to leave them for personal and what I'm gonna go bring over to the recycler alright so this room is taken a while I got my first load of trash ready to go I'm not upset with it like I'm finding a lot of change and I still have one more load of trash I have a couple mystery boxes to go through so we'll have to see what we get out of that I'll definitely make money though it's just this rooms like one of those scary hoarder rooms like I'm glad we're not stuck in a house so all right let me go throw this out so the reason why it's taking me so long is like I'll be moving a box of basically garbage at the bottom of every box is a thing of tools or a bunch of change like I would say each box has at least $1 to $3 and change so it's just taken forever to go through everything will I'll show you the next box of garbage I'd say I'd been here for an hour and a half so far it's probably gonna take me at least another hour and a half to load up this next next trailer of trash but the good thing is it's porn today so it's fun it's a treasure hunt so I'm on my second car to garbage I did this one a lot faster so we're about at two two hours and fifteen minutes into this room and two full loads of trash I mean I guess that's why it was 30 bucks but hopefully there's I mean I think I got close to that and change so far we'll see we have to go through the boxes that I think are good all right so this is the last truck truck of garbage taking me about three hours to make all the garbage and sort the paper so I'm going to show you guys the boxes next there's got to get rid of this stuff all right so this guy was officially a hoarder I think this is cartload number four of trash I thought I was done but all the box boxes in the back we're all trash but there's two boxes to go through I'll show you all the change I got I definitely made back my money on change but let's see um our five of cleaning this out so all right hopefully we find something in those two boxes so this is all the change that I got I figured I'd pour it all out into this basket so you can see there was a lot of dollars half dollars but I don't know my guess is thirty plus dollars and change the weird thing was the guy had all of his change wrapped in receipts so that's one of the reasons it took so long I found a bunch of Chucky Cheese tokens to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese I got this bucket of wire here definitely a when why I get so much why I oh I always have a ton of wire at home because of storage rooms figure we go through the box of stuff that I thought was interesting tons and tons of cell phones not I have probably hundred cell phones at home just because of doing these storage rooms here's a good lock at rest looks like garbage I have some tools but [Music] most of the stuff in this room was trash I don't even think the wrenches are that good this box seemed to be pretty good - it had a Dewalt drill set oh that's a that's a MacBook Air but no macbook air in it that's a cord for it but it is an apple cord oh there's a ton uh there's a Walmart gift card left check that later here's more change definitely and more so I'm probably at 50 $60 and change now there's still more in this box down here so quarters that's good this is probably close to the most change I've ever found in a room holy Sh so that's cold that's a cat's eye the stone you can just tell how it's made that it's gold and this that's either sapphire or Ruby just because of the star but it is heavy that has to be the heaviest gold ring I ever had here just listen to it fall into the change it's got all right everything was worth it I'm happy that I spent so much time here now this is really high karat - it's like looks like an it's made to look like a nugget you can see how this one's yellower but this one's shinier so I'd say this yellow one is probably 14 but this one with the red sapphire in it doesn't have a great star on it it does have a little shimmer on the top this is why we do it oh and there's some dollar coins in here too I wonder if there's support more rings sometimes guitar picks can be really good but more change alright I would say that's close to an ounce of gold half ounce of gold now it's definitely more than a half ounce it's real close to the weight of a silver dollar like a Morgan dollar so is there anything else in here yeah just a couple more scissors and another cellphone but all right I'm gonna leave it on a high note I got a mess still to clean up but got all that change and some gold for my $30 storage room definitely definitely definitely worth it
