Trash picking and scrappin'! Always treasures to be had on bulk trash day!

definitely some good trash today looks like a bunch of iphone and ipod cords always use the wires some more wire in this box might be or just speaker and a couple plugs i guess we'll grab that little and throw all the plugs in definitely uh some fun darts i bet these are sellable all right let's see what else we get oh the wood bucket's kind of fun i really like these little end stands but let's grab this bucket this thing's cool was this a laundry basket or a waste basket it's very cool it's fun i like it i'm going to save it a bunch of beer steins i think i think we'll get those definitely sellable i don't know about the swiss mix all right take the eight of them this box looks interesting might actually be a good flea market box see what else they had throw some brass in there i have to come back with the truck uh i was leaving the flea market a nice clean one all right it's looking pretty empty on this one oh no almost all right one looks kind of nice old metal detector oh man i got a computer right on the top wouldn't it be funny if the xbox one is in the box it is not but i'm gonna go throw this metal detector in the car definitely sellable i guess the dolphins are good some clothesline cord extension cords friends been getting 75 cents a pound for those uh trimmed so ends up being worth the saving the cords and my other friend gets for these little boxes he gets paid for motor but not not in my uh not where i'm at i have to go drive it to him he's got probably uh i mean i probably have three or four hundred pounds of that saved i think the jansport backpack is sellable it's actually brand new with tag it's kind of a fun frame it's just another computer case electric cords i think we're gonna end up with like 50 pounds of electric cord if there's a couple more of these houses i think the oven mitts are sellable brand new don't need that definitely gonna have to come back with my uh truck all right so this is the pile from this house we'll get the dolphins too all right well it seems like there's a lot of stuff at this place i have uh two dysons i'm gonna come back with the truck man sorry my camera died right at the uh dysons but i'll try to go back and get them they have a lot of stuff here too this may be sellable nope i thought it was like a beer advertisement a lot of stuff but that's good scrap for the wire definitely taking all the wire right now and we'll come back with the other stuff this is heavy i don't know what it is i'm not sure keyboard and they just have a this whole box is nothing but wire and computer parts but i think i'm gonna take that hard drives i still get four or five dollars a pound for those a couple laptops all right put all this stuff back in that box all right so we got one box it doesn't seem like there's too many people picking today either so i have a shot of finding more more stuff there's definitely a lot of scrap though i'll come back with the truck let's grab that wire i'm not i'm not even snipping cords and nobody's been through cut the board yet so all right let's see what else we get waffle maker kitchen implements and maybe the thermos is sellable it's almost i'll leave the awesome all right we'll see what else is left out here i grabbed a dehumidifier already and the other box of wires those are always fun they have really nice uh magnifying glasses in there somebody got two of them i know what's in the home depot bag oh it's a door handle all right throw this stuff in the car more wire down there definitely uh definitely a lot of stuff today they normally have their bulk pickup in the spring and they postponed it because of uh what was going on so what is this stuff that's like a landscape fabric filter all right just gonna take this box like the and it sounds like it works good this guy is also the tuner a brass lamp all right let's take it all brass lamp i think the other stuff is not scrap so we'll stick it in here i know this is sellable all right definitely doing good this morning i kind of want the cords i don't think anybody uses these old monitors anymore but the cord is 75 cents a pound to me all right i need two hands some of the scrappers there's a bunch of vacuum cleaners this one's actually sellable um but as long as the vacuum cleaners have cords i've been taking them all uh happy to recycle those window fan you know that's sellable this time of year it's all full stem probably saw those legs especially if they were painted black or something all right i'll just have to grab this dehumidifier let's see what else we find stuff here because they bagged it all up and there is look at that right on top of dreamcast wow there's some games in here this is an epic score all right let's hope quilting looks like lots of books all right not in that box not in that box i don't know i'm still just happy if i'm dreamcast all right feels like they're all books but we'll cover these back up just in case it rains dodgers yeah oh well still definitely the best pick i uh had this week dreamcast is probably one of the best uh at least the highest end checking trash just in case nope one of the highest end video game consoles out there now oh old vcr i guess we have to grab that what's nice is it has a remote try the chaplain i remember these devil sticks or whatever they called them kind of funny all right i'm gonna grab that vcr looks like some baskets for the garden maybe definitely grab the vacuum cleaners i didn't bring clippers so i'm not cutting wire if i'm taking it i'm going to take the whole thing except for that screen but i didn't have to cut that this came right out and i guess grab that up to the top of that other vacuum it will uh eat up too much space by uh think the water tank all right i guess that's it oh got the receivers definitely finding a lot of vacuum cleaners today oh it's heavy hoover heavy duty i bet that one's also sellable a little piece of oh aluminum loud sorry hey rollerblades are skis rollerblades definitely need new blades though take the golf clubs nice little rain bucket i guess that's it here electric lawnmower and the craftsman if there's anything in here i guess it's all the parts to an electric chainsaw knock that out and stick it in the motor pile somebody already did all the work to take it apart all right take this mower i almost have a full load put that mower here and maybe a couple other things my other truck has half a load on it already i guess next stop was is gonna be uh the scrapyard well look like some puzzles a thousand piece christmas puzzle and but that's pretty cool got three uh sealed cassettes all right see if we find anything else definitely i don't know i always like these pile it's always good when there's cords on things you know the i'll grab that starting a new uh truckload of stuff but it's little brass ends yeah try it this would be good for scrap but i don't want to put it on this truck i think that's it what is this stuff looks like clay all right i think that's everything it's too late but all right let's see if it is i think it's chair base oh it's busted very uh very cool though oh well some stuff here some cds yeah that's an almost a ton of wire that'll be a 100 foot of extension cord all right grab cd from the extension cord all right you're coming with me what is this ah good pokemon book you might like it it's about the ring it's all all the though we sell pots especially kitchenaid ones but a lot of wires always take the vacuum cleaners no clue what this is it's like a disney dvd player vcr probably works jvc we'll try well it's missing a button there so it's going to go to scrapyard a little dvd player are you metal no it's just not metal all right i think that's it see what's in this one well i'm mostly loaded for the scrap yard definitely didn't do bad finding uh light iron and i did really good finding uh computers and uh cord got a lot of cord there's two fishing reels that were in the one of the boxes and they're not that old that one's pretty cool with the little trout on it made by orvis 100a um but i got one two about four and a half boxes of wire i would say it's about thirty dollars in scrap and then probably i picked for the flea market uh it won't go to the antique market the usable market i probably picked another 150 worth of uh little treasures like the the receiver and stuff like that so definitely was a was worth picking a bunch we're gonna go see what uh we get at the scrapyard so i guess that's next so six thousand seven hundred pounds it feels like i'm heavy but i'd say i got about 800 900 pounds on we'll we'll see how we do today david floyd iron all right let's see how we do [Music] i'm ready to unload we'll see how we do work on this for so so so all right i'm gonna put you on time-lapse so it looks like we got 900 pounds that's pretty good actually um i think i might run back out there and go see if i can get one more load but it'd be interesting if they're still paying 550 100. we'll find out i made it back the camera died sorry about that um it was one of the better houses uh i got this bose uh i guess it's a lifestyle music system it has all the plugs the speaker cord plugs i know uh you know the plugs add up whatever this but i think uh i think that was actually pretty good but i did get something better than that um pulled this rug out of the trash from the house where i got the bows it is stinky but i think i think it's actually a really good rug um i don't know my rugs i'm not sure what their uh what the names are but just the detail on it is pretty darn fantastic um i had to re-roll it so we're gonna get the tropical storm tomorrow so gonna go run to the warehouse but it is got just the prettiest flowers i had to have taken a heck of a long time to make this one but i don't know if anybody knows what this might be send me a message definitely uh definitely cool well we ended up uh making 50 at the scrap yard the tropical storm that went through didn't actually mess up the garden i can't believe the tomatoes are still standing tall everything's uh looking pretty good the one set
